2 Headliner, 1 Tour: Die US-amerikanischen Alternative Rocker Evanescence und die Niederländer Within Temptations haben sich zusammengeschlossen und gehen im Herbst 2020 europaweit auf Tour. Der Titel der Tour könnte nicht passender gwählt sein: Worlds Collide.  Die ursprünglich im Frühjahr 2020 geplante Tour muss aufgrund der gegenwärtigen Umstände in den Herbst 2020 verschoben werden. Wermutstropfen für alle Fans der beiden Rock-Bands ist, dass sowohl Within Temptations Sharon den Adel als auch Evanescences Amy Lee die Veröffentlichung neuer Songs bis zum Tourstart angekündigt haben.  HINWEIS Das Konzert zieht von der Hamburger Sporthalle in die Barclaycard Arena um. Alle gekauften Tickets und Premium-Tickets sind auch in der Barclaycard Arena gültig. Weitere Tickets für das Konzert gibt es zudem ab sofort online.

Evanescence and Within Temptation reschedule their 2022 UK and European tour

It's not the first time that the joint 'Worlds Collide' tour has been postponed

Evanescence and Within Temptation have been forced to reschedule their upcoming UK and European tour once again.

The two bands had initially been due to head out on the ‘Worlds Collide’ tour back in 2020, but the tour has been postponed a number of times since due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The long-awaited gigs were then set to finally kick off next month, but Evanescence and Within Temptation have announced today (February 16) that the shows will now take place in November and December.

“As the world is slowly reopening again, we have been feeling optimistic about the tour actually taking place in March and April. However – a lot of countries still have restrictions in place, and we are forced to make a decision right now for logistical reasons,” the bands said in a joint statement.

“We are aware that many fans are preparing to make their plans to attend the shows, some of which involve travel, and given the uncertainty as to exactly when certain countries will lift their restrictions, we are left with no choice but to reschedule the tour, hopefully for the final time.”

All existing tickets and VIP packages will remain valid for the rescheduled dates and all venues remain the same – you can find out more information about the tour here , and see the rescheduled dates below.

Evanescence and Within Temptation announce rescheduled Worlds Collide tour

After they were forced to postpone their co-headline European tour last month, Evanescence and Within Temptation have revealed the rescheduled dates

Last month, Evanescence  and  Within Temptation  were forced to postpone their co-headline European tour .

The run of shows was originally due to get under way in Brussels on April 4, but with the world of music in turmoil due to the coronavirus pandemic , those plans had to be shelved.

However, the Worlds Collide tour will now take place throughout September and into October, kicking off at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on September 2 and wrapping up at Madrid’s Palacio Vistalegre on October 1.

A statement reads: “All existing tickets and VIP packages will remain valid for the rescheduled dates and all venues remain the same – except for Hamburg and Frankfurt.

“The Hamburg show will move to the Barclaycard Arena – all tickets will be honoured at the new venue and extra tickets to this show will be on sale immediately. We expect to have an update on Frankfurt shortly.”

Evanescence have been in the studio working on their new album, with the first material from it due to arrive later this month on a date still to be confirmed.

EVANESCENCE Announces October 2024 Canadian Tour With HALESTORM

Grammy Award -winning rock band EVANESCENCE will embark on its first headline tour across Canada in 15 years this fall. Produced by Live Nation Canada , the trek kicks off on October 15 in Vancouver, British Columbia, hitting cities nationwide before wrapping on October 29 in London, Ontario. EVANESCENCE will be joined by special guests, post-grunge/metal rockers HALESTORM across all stops. Alternative sister trio THE WARNING will open all shows.

Delivering a number of dynamic rock hits over the last two decades, EVANESCENCE recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of its landmark debut album, "Fallen" , originally released in 2003. They recognized the milestone with a special anniversary edition of the smash album, which spawned gigantic rock hits like "Bring Me To Life" , "Going Under" and "My Immortal" , kickstarting a thriving career they're still carrying out today.

Tickets will be available starting with artist presale on Wednesday, April 24 at 10 a.m. local time, and additional presales running throughout the week. The general onsale will begin Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. local time on livenation.com. Limited VIP packages will be available that include viewing EVANESCENCE 's soundcheck, exclusive merchandise items, early entry and more.

To date, EVANESCENCE has released a total of five studio albums, including the multi-platinum "The Open Door" (2004) and "Evanescence" (2011),both of which topped the Billboard 200. In 2021, the band thrilled fans with their first album of new material in a decade, "The Bitter Truth" . Now 20 years on, EVANESCENCE continues to scale new heights. Featuring a lineup of Amy Lee (vocals, keyboards), Tim McCord (guitar/bass), Will Hunt (drums), Troy McLawhorn (guitars) and Emma Anzai (bass, backing vocals),the band continues to travel the globe, staging some of the most successful shows of their career, having just wrapped a run of sold-out shows in Latin America, including Allianz Parque, a soccer stadium in Sāo Paulo, Brasil, which was the biggest headline show of EVANESCENCE 's career to date, drawing 40,000 fans.
