Spencer was featured in the music video for the official song from "Scream 6" — Demi Lovato 's "Still Alive" , an ICE NINE KILLS flyer was used in the movie and featured a Spencer -recommended Easter egg.

Beginning in the spring of 2023, as well as wowing packed-out stadiums around the world with METALLICA , ICE NINE KILLS headlined numerous sold-out shows on their "Wurst Vacation" European tour and thrilled tens of thousands of fans at Download festival to huge acclaim from both critics and fans alike. ABOUT ICE NINE KILLS

Decadent, devious and fiercely insane,  Ice Nine Kills  celebrate pop culture’s darkest edges, mining a cinephile library’s worth of iconic horror on 2018’s The Silver Scream which spawned Top 10 Mainstream Rock single “ A Grave Mistake  ” and Top 20 hit “ Savage s ” . The creative marriage made in hell of music and fiction began in earnest with the Top 5 Hard Rock album, Every Trick in the Book ,  which brought the previous three records’ themes to new levels and which the band perfected on 2021’s chart- topping smash hit ’ The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood . ’

The phenomenally successful album, released in October 2021, scored  Ice Nine Kills  their first Top 20 position (#18) on the Billboard Top 200, topped the Digital and Current Hard Music charts, hit Top 5 on the Current Rock, Independent, Current Albums and Album Sales charts and has clocked up  177 million cross-platform  streams to date and  15 million YouTube  views  for singles “ Hip To Be Scared ”, “ Assault & Batteries  ”, “ Rainy Day ”, “ Funeral Derangements “, “ Take Your Pick  “,  “ The Shower   Scene ”  and most recently,  “ Welcome To Horrorwood “.

Since the release of ‘ The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood  ‘,  Ice Nine Kills  have seen phenomenal growth. Throughout 2022 they toured the US extensively on 3 legs of  The Trinity of Terror.  During 2022 and throughout 2023 they supported Metallica in packed, sold-out stadiums around the world on their M72 World Tour. They toured the US with Slipknot and launched their enormously successful horror convention,  The Silver Scream Con,  which just celebrated it’s second, sold-out edition in the fall of 2023. Spencer was featured in the music video for the official song from  Scream 6  – Demi Lovato’s “ Still Alive “, an  Ice Nine Kills  flyer was used in the movie and featured a  Spencer-recommended easter egg . Beginning in the spring of 2023, as well as wowing packed-out stadiums around the world with Metallica,  Ice Nine Kills  headlined numerous sold-out shows on their Wurst Vacation European tour and thrilled tens of thousands of fans at Download Festival to huge acclaim from both critics and fans alike. They then toured the US with Falling In Reverse on their Popular Monstour run and hit the road for  ‘ Fear The Premiere ‘  US headline shows in August.  Ice Nine Kills  closed out 2023 on a high with the release of ‘  Welcome To Horrorwood Under Fire  ‘, an exclusive VIP event in Hollywood for the debut of new single “Meat & Greet” and the premiere of the full “Welcome To Horrorwood Saga” movies (featuring all music videos from the album as one chronological clip) and the phenomenally successful, inaugural run of the  Kiss of Death  co- headline tour with In This Moment.

The band’s synergy of music and lifestyle draws favorable comparisons to Slipknot and Rob Zombie. Visionary trailblazers and multimedia raconteurs,  Ice Nine Kills  have built a thrilling world for a growing legion of devoted true believers, with theatrical shows, high-concept videos, and inventive band-to-fan communion. Their wildly creative output has seen them become recipients of the prestigious  Clio Award for Music Marketing  for their “ Merry Axe-mas ” mobile game and their live streaming event from October 2020,  The Silver Stream  be nominated for 5 awards at 2022’s Horror Hound Film Festival Awards in the categories of Judges Choice, Best Sound, Best Supporting Performance, Best Cinematography and Best Feature. About In This Moment

GRAMMY® Award-nominated act  In This Moment  recently announced an epic headlining tour across North America this spring featuring special guests Kim Dracula, I See Stars, and Mike’s Dead. “ The GODMODE Tour, ” which celebrates the release of their 2023 album of the same name, will see the band perform at arenas and amphitheaters across the country. The upcoming trek is set to kick off April 28 th  at City National Grove in Anaheim, CA and continue through a May 25 th  performance at The Wind Creek Events Center in Bethlehem, PA.

Since coming to life in 2005,  In This Moment  have presided over a diehard fan base under the watch of  “mother”  figure and frontwoman  Maria Brink —joined by co-founder and lead guitarist  Chris Howorth , bassist  Travis Johnson , guitarist  Randy Weitzel , and drummer  Kent Diimmel . As millions convened upon the group’s otherworldly and unforgettable concerts, they quietly emerged as one of the most influential and impactful bands of the 21 st  century.

To date, in addition to the Gold-selling album,  Blood   [2012], the quintet have garnered six Gold and Platinum singles, followed by a trifecta of Top 25 entries on the  Billboard  200 with  Black Widow  [2014] and  Ritual   [2017]. With a total stream tally well past 200 million as of 2020,  Ritual   elevated them to new creative and critical peaks as well.

Between selling out headline tours coast-to-coast, the group performed in arenas everywhere alongside Disturbed and appeared at countless festivals from  Rockville  to  Sonic Temple .

Along the way, they assembled their seventh full-length, the aptly titled  Mother   [Roadrunner Records] with longtime trusted collaborator Kevin Churko [Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch]. Whereas  Ritual  hinted at a bluesy sonic sorcery,  Mother  breathes the activating mantra of an unbreakable spell, commenced on first single “ The In-Between .”

In 2022, the band released  Blood 1983  [BMG], a reimagined EP commemorating the ten-year anniversary of  Blood . Then in 2023, the longtime staples of heavy music released their eighth studio album  GODMODE  [BMG], a 10-song record featuring the powerful lead single  “ THE PURGE , ”  the band’s stunning cover of Björk’s  “ ARMY OF ME , ”  the collaborative track  “ DAMAGED ”  which features Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, and  “ I WOULD DIE FOR YOU ,”  which appears on the soundtrack for  John Wick: Chapter 4 .

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, US, Ice Nine Kills are a metalcore four-piece, whose intense and aggressive sound has landed them a legion of fans.

Referencing Kurt Vonnegut’s apocalyptic novel, “Cat’s Cradle,” Ice Nine Kills deliver a brutal, potent brand of metalcore that certainly lives up to the theme of Vonnegut’s classic. Formed in high school in 2006, after preliminary lineup changes, Ice Nine Kills settled on Spencer Charnas (vocals), Justin deBlieck (guitar/vocals), Justin Morrow (guitars/bass) and Conor Sullivan (drums). Their early music looked to pop punk, ska and post hardcore for influence, releasing an early album in 2006, “Last Chance to Make Amends.” After the album, the band reshuffled and forged a more heavier sound, after they settled on their new lineup in 2007.

In 2007, their first EP arrived, titled “The Burning,” on Red Blue Records. The success of this first release landed them several high profile support slots with the likes of As I Lay Dying, A Day to Remember, Thursday and Paramore, shows which took them across North America.

Ice Nine Kills caught the attention of Ferret Records with their experimental metalcore, who signed the band to their roster in 2009. The band soon got to work on their second full-length, “Safe Is Just a Shadow,” which gained positive critical acclaim from a number of media outlets. The band then joined Warped Tour on several dates that year, before embarking on a headline tour in 2011. In 2012, they also gained a place on the All Stars Tour, opening for big names including Suicide Silence, Dance Gavin Dance and Attila.

Ice Nine Kills returned with new music in 2013, after releasing the EP, “The Predator.” The release was a hit, debuting at number nine on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. After another round on the All Stars Tour with Every Time I Die, they start work on their third album. The result was 2014’s “The Predator Becomes The Prey,” which scored the band their first entry on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, reaching number 153.

Live reviews

They put on a phenomenal show, playing mostly tracks from their new album The Silver Scream and previous one Every Trick in the Book. I had never been to the venue before, and hadn't realized it was a brand new venue. After entering, I was told to proceed down an unlit, black painted hallway to get my ticket from will call and it was very dark, kinda creepy. Will call was just a desk with a computer, and there was a lot of dust on the plaster ground around there, so I'm assuming the venue is still renovating at the moment.

My friend had let me know the liquor license hadn't arrived yet when she was there Saturday so she couldn't buy drinks, however we were able to yesterday night. My friends and I thought the mixed drinks were very strong. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. Upstairs was the merch area, which I thought was hard to notice as a sign wasn't posted about it. I found it when my friends wanted to head upstairs to use the indoor smoking room. The venue size itself was small, but I didn't mind because it made the show feel intimate, however the bar is very long, so some of the crowd was standing along the bar, instead of upfront near the stage. I look forward to seeing another show at this venue to see how it changes, due to the apparent renovations to the building.

Ice Nine Kills put on an incredible show. I expected nothing less from these creative, talented men. Spencer was just as vocally on point live as he is in the studio. Theatrics added to their perfect sound. This is the first time I have had the pleasure of seeing them live and I look forward to seeing them in a different venue in the future. I have seen well over a hundred shows in venues in Florida and other parts of the country. This was one of the worst visually designed venues I have ever been to. House of Blues in Orlando remains my favorite venue and I hope to see them there someday. If you have the opportunity to see this band live, I highly recommend it. You won't regret it.

Thank you, Ice Nine Kills for a spectacular show!

I saw Ice Nine Kills for the very first time in concert at the Scranton Warped Locale this summer (2014) Not only did they sound amazing live, but they fed off the crowd's energy and played especially for the crowd. At quite a few points, Spencer Charnas physically interacted with the crowd while still keeping a solid and strong hold on the songs he was singing. The set list itself was a perfect mix of older and newer songs in such a way that they catered to the newer and older fanbase. They were very humble between songs and I am very grateful that I got the chance to see such amazing talent and such wonderful human beings in action.

One of the best, if not the best, concerts I've been to. They went all out, dressed up to go with the themes of each song and were super dramatic with it, putting on an awesome show! They really pumped the audience up. Of course their vocals, instrumentals, everything is always super good live, but they really went all out this time I saw them. It was very good, and although they weren't the headliner, they had ample time to play many of their newer hits, and a very good, well known older song. I loved it! I totally recommend seeing them live, they won't disappoint.

Venue: The Varsity Theater was pretty awesome as far as sound, viewing and bar placement. The parking was terrible since the one close lot was full, we drove around the block for 30 minutes waiting for a parallel parking spot to open. The bathrooms were also “unique” with guys having 2 stalls and the girls having about 10 with no line.

The concert was great! Ice Nine Kills played many of their awesome songs and had so much energy it was contagious! Their backdrop and crowd interaction was on point. Definitely want to see them again soon!

INK is my perfect band. They blend both my favorite genres into one awesome experience and seeing it live just makes everything so much better. I love the energy they have on the stage when singing songs. They're all over the place and it's a joy to watch. The costumes as well really show how much they care for horror and it even works well in some acting parts (particularly IT is the End) Overall I've loved Ice Nine Kills ever since I found the Silver Scream and seeing them live was one of the best experiences I've had in a while.

mikewalsh9300’s profile image

Been an INK fan for a long time, and finally got to see them November 22 in Atlanta. Let me just say, THEY WERE AMAZING! Holy hell man. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Spencer has such a great stage personality, Ricky fits Spencer’s vocals well, and Dan and Joe are completely amazing. Saw Fit For A King, Light the Torch, and Awake at Last that night as well, and they were also amazing. Awake at last was ok, not amazing. But the other two were definitely worth it. 20/10 would go see INK again!

drew.xeno.parkour’s profile image

The whole line-up was great. Awake at Last started off the show with great engagement and Light the Torch absolutely destroyed!! Fit for a King played a metal set and Ice Nine Kills had an incredible performance! They played their Silver Scream album, but brought back Communion of the Cursed and Me, Myself, and Hyde, which fit perfectly into their set. The energy was high throughout the whole set and the show was amazing from start to finish. Definitely an experience I will not be forgetting.

I adored the show! The only two issues I had were I never received my vip merch and the venue. The one staff lady from Live Nation told me I couldn’t wear my Michael Myers mask or bring a prop (foam) knife. I have never had issues with that except last night. I wish there was a way for me to at least get the merch sent to me since I payed for vip but didn’t receive anything. I also hope that Spencer and the rest of the band got my burlap goody bags.

Even though it was a small event it was an amazing atmosphere. The band was great and I've never been to a gig like that before. It was cheap but in my opinion they could have charged more. The only problem was the price of the merch. £30 for a t-shirt and a t-shirt with sleeves was £50 wasn't willing to pay more than that so didn't find out the price for hoodies or jackets. But an amazing night out.

Ice Nine Kills/ In This Moment: Kiss of Death Tour 2024 Part 2 with special guests Avatar and TX2

Ice Nine Kills

Like the undead slashers celebrated in their songs, ICE NINE KILLS return with The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood , a sequel of gruesome movie-sized proportion to their No. 1 Billboard Hard Rock Album, The Silver Scream . Welcome to Horrorwood carves out a fresh, bloody homage to the VHS celluloid classics that possessed singer Spencer Charnas at an early age, with a devilish new twist.

ICE NINE KILLS make music both timeless and timely, mixing metal, hardcore, and punk, with accessible power. New hard-rock-and-horror anthems like “Hip to be Scared,” “Assault & Batteries,” “Take Your Pick,” and “Farewell II Flesh” demonstrate Spencer’s fascination with fright, pop culture obsession, and his expertise with inescapably wicked melodic hooks and clever twists of phrase.

Drew Fulk (A Day To Remember, As I Lay Dying, Emmure) produced The Silver Scream and returned for Welcome to Horrorwood . Album guests include Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Brandon Saller (Atreyu), Ryan Kirby (Fit For A King), and Buddy Nielsen (Senses Fail). The album mixes the melodies, riffs, and wit that are the band’s signature, as heard in the Top 10 Mainstream Rock single “A Grave Mistake” and Top 20 hit “Savages.”

Dan Sugarman (guitar/vocals), Ricky Armellino (guitar/vocals), Patrick Galante (drums), and Joe Occhuiti (bass/vocals) are the current co-conspirators behind Charnas, who founded the band as a teen in the early 2000s. Decadent, devious, and fiercely insane, ICE NINE KILLS celebrates pop culture’s darkest edges, mining a cinephile library’s worth of iconic horror on The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2 . The creative marriage made in hell of music and fiction began in earnest with the Top 5 Hard Rock album, Every Trick in the Book , which brought the previous three records’ themes to new levels.

Loudwire hails ICE NINE KILLS as “one of the most unique acts in metal right now.” The band’s synergy of music and lifestyle draws favorable comparisons to Slipknot and Rob Zombie. Visionary trailblazers and multimedia raconteurs, INK built a thrilling world for a growing legion of devoted true believers, with theatrical shows, high-concept videos, and inventive band-to-fan communion. Ice Nine Kills/ In This Moment: Kiss of Death Tour 2024 Part 2 with special guests Avatar and TX2

In This Moment

With a Grammy nomination (“The In-Between,” 2021), platinum and gold record sales, multiple Top 25 entries on the Billboard Top 200 (“Black Widow” and “Ritual”), hits including “Whore,” “Blood,” and ”Adrenalize” and career streams of more than 1.3 billion , you’d think In This Moment might rest on their laurels. Instead, they’ve created GODMODE , 10 dynamic songs that mark a new high for the quintet, further cementing their legacy in the heavy music world. Proof positive is in GODMODE ’s first single, the industrial-heavy yet ultra-melodic “THE PURGE,” and its darkly cinematic video directed by Jensen Noen (Bring Me The Horizon, Demi Lovato). From the portentous start of the ‘90s-tinged “GODMODE” with Maria Brink’s powerful primal scream to the pitch-perfect cover of Bjork’s 1995 “Army of Me” to the impassioned pain to partnership in “EVERYTHING STARTS AND ENDS WITH YOU,” GODMODE is a cut above.

The L.A.-based band’s eighth album finds vocalist Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth writing the most powerful songs of their career. “We’re always striving for reinvention and growth. It’s been 10 years since our Blood album, and there’s been a lot of transitions happening, this year particularly, but it all felt so meant to be,” explains Brink.

Top talent aided and abetted In this Moment; Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills guests on the pointed and pained “DAMAGED,” and several songs were co-written with Tyler Bates, the award-winning producer and composer of numerous film, television, and video game scores. In fact, the initial collaboration with Bates, the moody, haunting mid-tempo winner “I WOULD DIE FOR YOU” ended up both on the John Wick: Chapter 4 soundtrack and as the last cut on GODMODE.

In This Moment, a touring juggernaut who’ve slayed stages worldwide at Ozzfest, Warped Tour, Download, Knotfest and Rocklahoma, put out Mother in 2020, during the pandemic, giving fans something to hold on in during that bleak time, and earning “The In-Between” the band’s first Grammy nod. It was 2021 when Howorth and Brink first wrote with Bates on “I WOULD DIE FOR YOU.” Following that collaboration, the duo was writing organically, for pleasure, not focused on the next album. As the pandemic waxed and waned, Howorth learned programming, and created music around synthwave sounds, which Brink leaned into. Her lyrical ideas arose both from soul-searching and “humanity and so much crisis and so many heart-wrenching things in the world. That negativity and darkness is how songs like ‘THE PURGE’’ came about,” Brink explains.

The end result is that when In This Moment went into the studio in January 2023, the easy flow had allowed them to compile the most songs they’d ever written at one time, songs the entire band loved. Longtime producer Kevin Churko helped shape ITM’s sound starting in 2008, but for GODMODE , his son, Kane Churko, was at the helm. “Kane’s got all the strengths that his father taught him–everything, all the bells and whistles, but he’s got some new tricks because he’s a younger generation, he’s hungry,” says Brink.

Kane was the perfect match for In This Moment’s inspired songs “During the pandemic, just writing versus writing with a pressure that music has to be for an album, allowed us the freedom to make the record we made,” says Howorth.

GODMODE ’s songs gained even more strength in the studio, with Kane shaking up the band’s usual m.o. even further. “Having some songs by Tyler influenced us as well,” Brink explains. “It was scary for the band, but it ended up flowing just so beautifully. We felt very experimental.” That flow gave the album its name and theme. GODMODE isn’t religious, rather it’s an expression for a triumphant flow state where all comes together seamlessly, coalescing into an ultimate form. As Brink sings in “GODMODE,” “You got me feeling so high / You lift me off of my feet yeah / You got me feeling like, feeling like / I’m in Godmode.” In video games – Howorth plays the game “Destiny” – “God mode” also refers to a code that makes a player invincible. “There’s a spontaneity in this album that you can hear. It’s a little more visceral. And that we’re not with Kevin, who has done all our albums except for our very first, fans will hear those differences too, which is really cool and exciting for us,” Howorth says. “We had all this built-up energy from the last three years, we felt angst, we felt we had a lot to release,” furthers Brink. “And we were letting it loose organically, while also playing with different time signatures and interesting things like that.”

“We use an 8-string on the album, which we haven’t done before,” Howorth says. “We did some different tunings, and it can definitely be freeing from guitar standpoint, the way we did things this time. Working with Kane was different and more off the cuff, being in the studio, getting creative and just trying a bunch of different stuff on every song. It was a really good experience.” As fans of Brink’s lyrics know, life in and around In This Moment hasn’t always been easy. As Brink recalls, “When I met Chris, I was just a starry-eyed girl with huge dreams. And he was in a Pantera-like metal band!” She told Howorth she wanted a heavy lineup that could sell platinum and win Grammys. The band had an early manager who told them it would never happen. But his dismissiveness only fueled In This Moment’s fire, energy and fight. “We’re just relentless,” says Brink. “Anything’s possible if you really put your mind and energy into it.”

For GODMODE , that energy also went into the “THE PURGE” video, where director Noen brought his artistry and next-level talent to Brink’s storyboard ideas. The larger-than-life video themes and sets have been translated into In This Moment’s live stage show, literally. And summer 2023 saw the band on its first arena co-headlining tour with full pyrotechnics. “Our whole lives we’ve talked about being in an arena and having fire and a full show,” Brink says. “And now we’re doing it and it’s just so beautiful.”

In this Moment certainly have nothing to prove , the lineup’s authority assured live on record and onscreen. Yet, GODMODE’s energy and scope is visceral. “With our new ideas and excitement and Kane’s energy of wanting to prove himself to everybody, we were able to show that we’re heavy and just as impactful as every other new band coming out right now,” says Howorth. “We can punch you right in the face, that energy is in there big, time. I think our fans are really gonna like this album, because it’s taken us back a little bit where it began, but it’s also more instinctive, and heavier than anything we’ve done a long time,” concludes Howorth.

Brink, a private person, nonetheless gives and takes much strength from ITM’s millions of fans. The healing is on both sides. “It’s amazing if my songs help people feel empowered. When humans share painful things that we went through and how we heal from it, we can help each other and pass that energy on,” she says. “Honestly, the most beautiful thing about being in a band is being able to have that connection with strangers who become kindred spirits. Sure, I have urges to wear ‘masks’ and hide from everything and wear makeup, but I like to share and be honest and vulnerable. The sky’s the limit,” Brink concludes. “You just have to keep dreaming, keep expanding, keep pushing yourself to that next level. I feel like something is shifting right now in the band; this is such a special moment for us with GODMODE.” For more information visit https://inthismomentofficial.com/ .

Ice Nine Kills/ In This Moment: Kiss of Death Tour 2024 Part 2 with special guests Avatar and TX2

There are no weapons on this planet that can challenge might of the electric guitar. For decades metal has been the most powerful force known to man. Its sonic teeth have gnawed through the status quo over and over, pushing the boundaries for what can be created in the marriage between blood and machine. If a Mount Rushmore were to be carved for all the titans of the genre, it would span the entire globe many times over. It’s a burning beacon, the misfits and rebels.

As time has passed, much of the scene has become divided in two equally stale camps. The first is forever stuck in the past, no longer seeking to lead. The second are those who have forgotten the most important ingredients to what made metal what it was and must remain. They’ve lost touch with the devil. They’ve forgotten how to move. In a genre best experienced with your whole body, they’ve lost the lust.

We grew up together. John and Jonas started the band when they were just 15 and 14 years old. Johannes joined at the age of 16, as did Henrik and finally Simon, who left to be replaced by Tim, a longtime friend of ours, in 2012. While constantly redefining what we do and why we do it, we are among a select few who have remained a true band of brothers. Metal has been our key to the kingdom, our way to see the world. Self-financing our debut when we were between 18 and 19, we have never waited for anyone’s approval or permission. With DANCE DEVIL DANCE we are adamant to give something back for all we’ve received.

DANCE DEVIL DANCE was recorded in the Swedish wilderness, far away from all the perceived glamour of the big city and modern studios. Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Mr. Bungle, Crobot, Stone Sour, Amon Amarth, Uriah Heep etc.) returned as producer. He first worked with us when he mixed Hail the Apocalypse, a role he reprised on Feathers & Flesh before taking the wheel as producer on Avatar Country and Hunter Gatherer. No extra personnel were wanted nor needed. We stayed together for a month, eating, sleeping and breathing DANCE DEVIL DANCE, just the six of us.

With grit and sheer force of will, we made the music the only way metal ever should be done. Modern metal too often becomes homogenized by everyone using the same drum samples and pre-sets for guitars. DANCE DEVIL DANCE is the sound of our bodies in motion, and nothing else. It sounds hard because we play hard. It’s loud because we are loud. Every band knows the challenge of capturing the rage of a stage performance on tape. This time we succeeded. This album bleeds black blood, bludgeoned by the road.

We are a metal circus. The road is our home. DANCE DEVIL DANCE mirrors all the madness of this world and worlds beyond. It’s celebration of the ugly and a challenge in the face of all things deemed beautiful. Metal should make you move. Metal is music for the body. We don’t know when it happened but it seems that at some point recently, most of the world decided that this music was best enjoyed sitting down. This is a great tragedy and it must be rectified. Why have drums, why have bass, if people don’t move their feet?

And feet will move indeed. Our music was always made for the stage first, as anyone can attest to, whether it’s as an opening band for greats such as Iron Maiden or Slipknot, or playing the major stages on Wacken, Hellfest, Download, Rock on the Range, Poland Rock, and many more, or bringing the entire freakshow with us, headlining night after night. From coast to coast across the United States of America and Canada. From Mexico down all the way to Brazil; all over Europe, north, south, east and west. The whole world is our stage, and you better get ready, because when we begin you will all be the Devil’s playthings. For more information visit https://avatarmetal.com/ .

About Ice Nine Kills:

Horror-loving metal outfit Ice Nine Kills combine intense metalcore aggression with a theatrical flair inspired by classic horror films and the occult. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, they debuted in the early 2000s, switching through styles before focusing on a melodic hardcore sound that helped push the breakthrough 2015 LP Every Trick in the Book onto the Billboard 200. They continued to see chart success with ghoulish subsequent efforts The Silver Scream (2018) and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood (2021).

ICE NINE KILLS summon the most captivating elements of metal, punk and hard rock and combine it with melody, cinematic obsession, and a literary fascination. Loudwire hails them as “one of the most unique acts in metal right now,” a declaration supported by the band’s Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart topping slab, The Silver Scream. 13 songs of devilishly devious odes to classic horror, The Silver Scream generated anthems for the disenfranchised and subculture obsessives, like “The American Nightmare,” and broke them into Active Rock radio.

About In This Moment:

Initially conceived as a metalcore counterpart to Evanescence, In This Moment moved into more melodic territory with its fantastical 2008 breakthrough album The Dream. Though capable of throat-scraping screams, vocalist Maria Brink shone brightest on mature and atmospheric material, putting In This Moment in the running as a promising goth rock band. The Los Angeles-based act also widened its exposure by touring with the like-minded Lacuna Coil as well as metal veterans Megadeth and Ozzy Osbourne. They have received two nominations of Alternative Press Music Awards, including two for Best Hard Rock Artist and one for Best Live Band. They have also received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. To date, the band has 5 singles and an album certified Platinum and Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
