Relaxing on Ms la traviata

We decided to upgrade our tour from felucca to this and it was worth it ok it’s not the biggest or fanciest boat in the fleet the food and staff were great from little Mohammed in house keeping to caady at the bar adel in the restaurant and the Md whose name is pretty long that sent soup to our room for my wife who wasn’t feeling well I just can’t say enough

First the good news. The staff, tour guide, crew, chefs and waiting staff were wonderful. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they obviously cared about encouraging tourist back to Egypt. the cabins were clean and fresh. Lots of hot water in the shower. Great. The food was plentiful and delicious. Lots of choices unless you were a vegitarian☹️. Drinks were VERY expensive on board - beer £2.50 and bottle of wine around £16. Bad news is that the ship was very tired like a grand old lady in reduced circumstances. Apparently she had been in mothballs for the last 6 months and it showed. The top deck had been newly varnished and still had not tried after 7 days. Heaven help you if you had hairy feet, lol. For the first 2 days the splash pool looked like clear soup☹️. Large gaps between the floorboards in the bedroom - heaven help you if your pearls broke, lol. This had been our 3rd Nile cruise and on balance we thought that it was very good value for money (apart from the bar prices). It is NOT up to Royal Carribbean standards but for a Nile cruise - better than most

3 night 4 days experience which I never forget. Rooms are good with modern amenities and clean bathroom. Foods are delicious and a mix of continental and local cuisine. Staff are cordial and helpful.Every evening there is some program including belly dance and Sufi dance which were mesmerising. The small swimming pool in upper deck is cute and refreshing. The Bar has limited stock though. In the day time the cruise docked to see various places of Importance.

We have tried a number of river cruises and we were looking forward to this particular cruise along the Nile. Although we have been on more luxurious boats, nevertheless this was a delightful experience. The Nile is lovely and relaxing and the historic sites never stop.

Cruise is good. Staff is courteous in spite of language barrier. The only negative point is that they don't give Dental kits, bath accessories & Shaving kits in even deluxe rooms.

If ever you wanted a memorable experience, the a Nile cruise is a must!! Travelled on the Royal Esadora which has been recently renovated. Started in Luxor, to Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan, visited amazing temples and spectacular sunsets. Visiting the temple in Edfu is a must, it’s probably the one most intact and complete temples in Egypt. another highlight is sailing on a Felucca in Aswan.. Remember to use the word Galas when you have had enough of been harassed ... enjoy your trip ❤️ Egypt 🇪🇬
