In an ambitious initiative aimed at transforming the state’s tourism landscape, the Rajasthan Tourism Department is actively identifying and developing new tourist destinations across all districts. This comprehensive endeavour encompasses development, restoration, and conservation efforts for two distinct tourist spots in each district. These projects are already underway, fuelled by the Tourism Development Fund, with the overarching goal of expanding tourism’s economic benefits to every corner of the state.

Gayatri Rathod, Principal Secretary, Rajasthan Tourism Department while emphasizing the alignment of this initiative with the 22-23 Budget Announcement, said, “We are proud to announce that two unique tourist destinations have been earmarked for development in each district. “This visionary plan not only aims to enhance existing tourist spots but also envisions the creation of entirely new attractions for visitors.”

Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Director, Rajasthan Tourism Department, said, “Our dedicated efforts are geared towards revitalizing the state’s tourism sector, benefiting all associated businesses and communities. With a total investment of 70.06 crore, development and renovation activities are currently underway in districts including Alwar, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Bharatpur, Banswara, Dausa, Dungarpur, Jodhpur, Jhalawar, Jalore, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Nagaur and Sirohi including Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Kota, Pratapgarh etc. These initiatives are set to breathe new life into Rajasthan’s tourism scene, offering a unique experience in every district.”

Dr. Sharma further highlights the collaborative approach taken by the Tourism Department, working hand-in-hand with various government departments, including the Forest Department, Archaeology Department, and Public Works Department, as well as municipal bodies, to ensure the success of these projects. The rapid pace of work reflects the commitment to reinvigorate Rajasthan’s tourism industry and offer diverse experiences to travellers from near and far regenerate.

Rajasthan News: राजस्थान ने आज 'राजस्थान डोमेस्टिक ट्रैवल मार्ट (RDTM) 2022' के आयोजन के लिए फेडरेशन ऑफ हॉस्पिटैलिटी एंड टूरिज्म ऑफ राजस्थान (FHTR) के साथ एमओयू किया. एमओयू (MoU) का उद्देश्य राजस्थान को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सबसे अनुकूल पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में बढ़ावा देना है. MoU हस्ताक्षर और दस्तावेजों का आदान-प्रदान निशांत जैन, निदेशक, पर्यटन विभाग, एफएचटीआर के अध्यक्ष और अपूर्व कुमार, गायत्री राठौर, प्रमुख सचिव, पर्यटन विभाग, राजस्थान की उपस्थिति में किया गया.

एफएचटीआर टीम का जताया आभार

गायत्री राठौड़, प्रमुख सचिव और पर्यटन विभाग ने बताया कि आरडीटीएम का दूसरा संस्करण 22 से 24 जुलाई 2022 को बिड़ला सभागार जयपुर में आयोजित किया जाएगा. इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा, "हम हमारे साथ हाथ मिलाने के लिए एफएचटीआर टीम के बहुत आभारी हैं. आगामी वर्ष के दौरान घरेलू पर्यटन को अगले स्तर पर ले जाना चाहते हैं. आतिथ्य और पर्यटन स्थलों के विकास में निवेश आकर्षित करने के लिए पर्यटन क्षेत्र में काफी संभावनाएं हैं. वर्तमान में पर्यटन क्षेत्र राज्य के अर्थवयवस्था में 9 फीसदी का योगदान दे रहा है और लगभग 50 लाख लोगों को रोजगार प्रदान कर रहा है. रूरल टूरिज्म, फिल्म टूरिज्म और हेरिटेज टूरिज्म जैसी अनुकूल नीतियों की शुरुआत के साथ इस क्षेत्र में बहुमूल्य अवसर होंगे."

अध्यक्ष ने कही ये बात

इस अवसर पर अध्यक्ष एफएचटीआर, अपूर्व कुमार ने कहा कि अब जब एक बार फिर से चीजें खुल रही हैं तो राज्य सरकार के सहयोग से फेडरेशन बहुप्रतीक्षित आरडीटीएम को वापस लाने के लिए तैयार है. मार्ट राजस्थान राज्य के हॉस्पिटैलिटी ऑपरेटरों और विभिन्न शहरों/राज्यों के पर्यटन के प्रमुख ऑपरेटरों और सेवा प्रदायको को बी2बी बैठकों के माध्यम से एक छत के नीचे लाएगा. उन्होंने कहा आगे कहा की "राज्य सरकार पर्यटन और हॉस्पिटैलिटी उद्योग को उदारता से बहुत अच्छा बजट प्रदान किया है. साथ ही पर्यटन व्यवसाय को भी उद्योग घोषित किया है. यह मांग 1989 से  लंबित थी. इससे पर्यटन को भारी बढ़ावा मिला है".

ये करेंगे समर्थन

RDTM का आयोजन राजस्थान सरकार के पर्यटन विभाग और FHTR द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया जा रहा है. राजस्थान के सभी उद्योग संघ जैसे होटल एंड रेस्टोरेंट एसोसिएशन ऑफ राजस्थान (एचआरएआर), इंडियन हेरिटेज होटल्स एसोसिएशन (आईएचएचए) और राजस्थान एसोसिएशन ऑफ टूर ऑपरेशंस (आरएटीओ) इस आयोजन का समर्थन करेंगे. RDTM को IATO, ADTAOI, TAAI, TAFI, ATOAI, ICPB और ETAA जैसे राष्ट्रीय संघों से भी समर्थन प्राप्त होगा. यह आयोजन होटल, रिसॉर्ट और टूर ऑपरेटरों के लिए भारतीय घरेलू पर्यटन बाजार की क्षमता को बढ़ाने का प्रयास करेगा.  

इस अवसर पर प्रेजिडेंट हॉनर, एफएचटीआर, श्री भीम सिंह भी उपस्थित थे. संरक्षक, एफएचटीआर, डॉ. ललित के पंवार, अध्यक्ष, आईएचएचए और सह-अध्यक्ष, फिक्की राजस्थान राज्य परिषद, रणधीर विक्रम सिंह, अध्यक्ष RATO और HRAR  कुलदीप सिंह चंदेला के साथ FHTR के सदस्य और पर्यटन अधिकारी मौजूद थे.

Will promote border tourism & lesser-known destinations of Rajasthan: FHTR

In a conversation with ETTravelWorld, Mohan Singh, Secretary General, Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), the organisers of the 2nd edition of Rajasthan Domestic Tourism Mart (RDTM) mentioned that they are hosting more than 200 buyers this time and organising four-post tours covering popular destinations for tour operators.
