Marking 59 years since his first album in 1964, Williams Jr. released It’s About Time (Nash Icon Records) in 2016.

Bocephus is back.

Hank Williams Jr. has officially announced he’s hittin the road next year.

In celebration of the 45th anniversary of his iconic single, “ Family Tradition, ” the tour will kick off in Birmingham Alabama on April 5th and wraps up in Kansas City, Missouri on September 14th.

In his instagram announcement post, Hank had this to say in the caption:

“Are y’all ready? I’m heading out on tour in 2024 and bringing some of my rowdy friends along to celebrate 45 years of Family Tradition!”

Hank will be bringing Whiskey Myers along for the ride, as well as Charley Crockett, Neal McCoy, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Marty Stuart and Old Crow Medicine Show at select dates.

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, December 8th at 10am local venue time, with select markets on sale at a later date.

Hank Williams Jr. Announces 2023 Headlining Tour, Joined By Old Crow Medicine Show

Hank Williams Jr. continues to prove that he is still as good as he once was.

Last June, ol’ Bocephus dropped his highly anticipated blues album,  Rich White Honky Tonk Blues, his first project in five years. It was awesome to see the country music legend come back strong, after the passing of his wife Mary Jane last March at the age of 58.

And now, it appears that Hank Jr. is ready kick off 2023 with a bang, as he just announced his upcoming headlining concert, Hank Williams Jr. Live In Concert.

And on top of that, Old Crow Medicine Show will be hitting the road as well as his opener.

He made the announcement via social media, sharing:

“Bocephus is hitting the road this year and bringing along some new rowdy friends. Join me, Old Crow Medicine Show, and a few more friends this spring and summer. Pre-sale starts tomorrow, stay tuned for details.”

The tour kicks off on May 12th in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and rounds out on August 26th in Gilford, New Hampshire, for a total of 15 stops in 2023.

Hank puts on a really great show. We had an awesome time. One thing he does is change the words to songs you think you know to satisfy the location he is at. A really great performance.

AWESOME show! I’ve seen Hank many times and I’m never disappointed with his shows. I wish we would have had more time to talk with him during the Meet n Greet, but I understand where they’re coming from. They have a schedule to keep. At least I did get to meet him and shake his hand.

Hank Williams Jr., Cody Johnson, and More to Headline Born & Raised Music Festival 2024

R ocklahoma usually steals the spotlight when it comes to Oklahoma-based music festivals. However, this year’s Born & Raised Music Festival might just steal the spotlight with this incredible lineup! Cody Johnson, Hank Williams Jr., and Kore Wetzel are headlining this year’s country music fest in sunny Pryor, Oklahoma. There will be a ton of additional acts as well, including Dwight Yoakam, The Red Clay Strays, Midland, Shane Smith & The Saints, Treaty Oak Revival, Wade Bowen, Paul Cauthen, The Cadillac Three, William Clark Green, and many more!

Born & Raised Music Festival will start on Friday, September 13 in Pryor, Oklahoma at the Rocklahoma outdoor venue (1421 West 450). The three-day fest will end on Sunday, September 15. The lineup schedule for this fest has not been released as of yet.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, April 26 at 10:00 am CT. Fans can join the festival newsletter now to gain access to the exclusive presale event. It’s not clear when the presale event will officially begin or end, so sign up ASAP before it’s too late!

The presale event will likely sell a lot of tickets and possibly sell out completely. If this happens, you still have a few other options for scoring tickets. Ticketmaster and Stubhub will likely have some tickets in their inventory once April 26 kicks off. We particularly recommend Stubhub, since the platform often has tickets to sold-out festivals at decent prices. It’s worth checking out!
