Perhaps it’s all about price for you, in which case, you’ll want to compare packages with a website like Kayak , or maybe you’re looking to earn AAdvantage miles, so American Airlines Vacations is the site for you. We’ve looked at the 10 best websites for Vegas vacation packages and deals.

CheapTickets is part of the Expedia Group, so you’ll see a similar layout for the package results page. There are plenty of filters to refine your searches, such as hotel star rating, neighborhood, amenities, guest ratings, and more.

If you sort by the Featured category, sale deals will often be displayed at the top of the results . At the time of writing, the famous Treasure Island Hotel and Casino was offering 32% off its hotel rate , which gave pretty chunky savings to the package deal.

With CheapTickets, it’s obvious which hotels include free cancellation. You can stick with the lead-in price or choose to upgrade your room or change your flights to a more convenient time or a different airline for a fee.

With Expedia , you can search for flights, hotels, car rentals, vacation packages, cruises, and activities, so it’s a 1-stop-shop for all your travel needs.

Despite Expedia and CheapTickets being owned by Expedia Group, our price comparisons below were significantly different. The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino offer we mentioned above was over $280 cheaper than the package available with CheapTickets, with the exact same flights, so it’s worth shopping around.

If you plan to book regularly with Expedia, it’s worth signing up for One Key . The loyalty program not only gives members access to lower hotel prices, but members also earn 1 OneKeyCash per $1 on flights, hotels, and more . You can then redeem your points against free future travel.

Hotwire is another online travel agent where you can search for flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation bundles. It’s a straightforward website to use, and any discounted offers are really clear as they display a before and after price.

Be sure to check out Hotwire’s Unreal Deals which are highlighted with a green banner. At the time of writing, a few of the Unreal Deals were showing a 100% savings on the flight .

If you’re not finding the price you’re after with a vacation package, it’s worth pricing your flight and hotel separately with one of Hotwire’s Hot Rate Hotels . These are hidden offers where the hotel will only be revealed after booking and often carry huge savings.

Another fully-dedicated Las Vegas booking site, Vegas.com enables you to book vacation packages, shows, tours, attractions, and even weddings. When searching for a package, each hotel listing features a customer rating, and some have a secondary rating for the hotel location or room quality.

Individual promotions are clearly advertised on each hotel, including Insider Pricing , which is an exclusive offer that can’t be found on another website .

As the name suggests, LasVegas.com is a travel site for booking hotels and vacation packages to Las Vegas. As your 1-stop-shop for Las Vegas, you can also book shows, tours, and attractions.

The website is not as slick as the likes of Expedia or Hotwire, but it does display its special offers clearly. Discounts and freebies are featured in red , including room discounts, free breakfast, or food, beverage, or attraction credits to spend at the hotel.

Travelocity is another popular online travel agent owned by Expedia Group. Similar to Hotwire, Travelocity features Unreal Deals with quite a few offers stating savings of  100% of the flight cost (the equivalent of getting the flight for free).

Travelocity does not provide a loyalty program, however, its packages were at the cheaper end of the 10 websites that we compared . As with most Expedia Group brands, Travelocity’s website has easy search and booking functionality with a huge selection of filters to refine your search.

American Airlines Vacations is the airline’s package booking site where you can book flights, hotels, and car rentals all in 1 place. As you would expect, packages include flights with American Airlines only , so you’re not going to find the cheapest airfares available due to the absence of low-cost carriers. Still, if you’re an avid fan of American Airlines or an AAdvantage member, you should be able to find a pretty good deal.

AAdvantage members can earn points on qualifying flights and will receive an extra 1,000 bonus miles when booking a package deal . AA says that by booking a flight and hotel in combination, customers have access to private airfare prices only available when booking a vacation.

When searching for a package, the results page has a clear layout featuring the hotel star rating, Tripadvisor review score, and any special deals included with the accommodation. The accommodation thumbnail image is very small, but thankfully if you click the image, a larger pop-up gallery displays without needing to visit the accommodation page.

The total price is displayed, along with a per-person price and monetary savings against the standard rate. AA allows customers to make monthly payments through its financing partner Uplift, which is a handy feature for those that want to spread the cost.

Southwest Vacations provides vacation packages within the U.S., Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. These destinations are the same as the Southwest Airlines route network, seeing as this is the only airline used with its packages.

When you book with Southwest Vacations, you can earn your usual Rapid Rewards miles on flights , but occasionally there will be limited time promotions that mean you can earn even more. This can be available with selected hotel promotions or for specific destinations. At the time of writing, members could earn up to 6,500 on bookings to Mexico and the Caribbean.

Kayak is a metasearch site that mostly directs customers to book with a third party such as Expedia or Travelocity. It’s a great site to use for comparing prices and has excellent search and filtering functionality. You can filter by which airlines you would like to travel with, hotel amenities, and whether they include any freebies, such as breakfast or parking.

We all know the cheapest flights are not always the quickest flights, and Kayak has a handy dropdown on each listing to see how much more a shorter flight will cost you. Once you’ve found an offer you like the look of, Kayak also displays the price with other companies. A competitor might be just a few dollars extra but could have a generous loyalty program to take advantage of.

Funjet Vacations has been around for over 40 years and has built fantastic relationships with select hotel groups. The Funjet Insiders Circle features a long list of hotel groups that offer Funjet customers “insider perks,” such as free private transfers, room upgrades, and complimentary excursions .

Funjet’s website is easy to use, and you can filter your search results to only show hotels that are within a specific distance of a particular point of interest. This is useful for somewhere like Las Vegas, to be able to view hotels that are within a specific distance from the Las Vegas Strip.

If you find the exact deal cheaper elsewhere, Funjet will price match the offer .

Although aspects such as website ease-of-use and customer service are important when booking a vacation, ultimately, it often comes down to price. We searched for a package across all websites to see which offers the cheapest rate for a 7-night stay at the MGM Grand for 2 people with flights departing from New York City in November .

CheapTickets provided the cheapest option at $378 per person and was the cheapest regardless of flights from JFK or LaGuardia. The most expensive website was American Airlines Vacations , which is not surprising as the other websites packaged flights with low-cost carrier JetBlue.

Most online travel agents display flight options from multiple airlines, while you’ll need to consider that American Airlines Vacations and Southwest Vacations only package flights from their respective airlines. Las Vegas has famously cherrypicked the world’s iconic destinations for ideas - and made them its own.

In most tourism-heavy cities, the hotels serve the destination. You stay at one near the beach for instance, or that’s located in an area of town you like, and hopefully, the hotel is nice. In many ways, hotels in Las Vegas are the destination. So, where you choose to stay will, in many ways, define your Vegas vacation. The obvious reason for this is the heavily themed nature of the hotels, from the laser beam-topped Egyptian pyramid to the Eiffel Tower to the hotel fronted by a 45-foot-tall lion seemingly plucked from the production logo of an MGM film. But perhaps the more accurate reason is that these hotels are essentially self-contained cities. The aim of the casinos is to keep you inside, and spending money, so they’re constantly upgrading rooms, adding restaurants and enhancing the shopping experience. You get the idea: once you’re inside, that may be your Vegas for the week. Choose wisely.

Wynn las vegas and encore.

Hands down the most luxurious hotel in Las Vegas, this is true resort living—and most of its devoted guests don’t leave the hotel while they’re here. Wynn and its sister resort, Encore , look out onto their own par-70 championship golf course – the only one on the Strip. Big, sunlit atriums, private show lakes and waterfalls, and a treasure trove of secret-feeling moments (like dragons guarding century-old pomegranate trees outside the first Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in North America) keep this resort feeling endlessly surprising. It’s the largest Forbes Five-Star resort in the world, and from the en-pointe service to the no-details-spared design, you’ll see it at every turn.

Aria Las Vegas

One of the best-located resorts on the Strip, Aria is part of the vast CityCenter complex and is connected by a walkway to Park MGM (which looks right out to T-Mobile Arena in its front yard and has the popular Dolby Live concert venue). It is refreshingly modern, with its streamlined design and natural materials inside two sleek glass towers. Its seven SkyVillas and 400 Sky Suites on the top floors of the 50-floor hotel have their own separate entrance, pool, and elevator. Other resorts are just catching on to Aria’s details for tech-savvy travelers like in-room tablets through which you can control the room’s features, order takeout from the hotel, and make spa appointments.

Caesars Palace

The massive, six-tower Roman-themed hotel on 85 acres of the Las Vegas Strip was built in the 1960s to make its guests feel like emperors. Like Rome itself, Caesars wasn’t built in a day but continues to expand and revamp, with its Colosseum concert arena, shopping mall (The Forum Shops at Caesars, which has its own Trevi Fountain), a five-acre complex of seven pools, and a huge variety of hotel rooms – including the separate-but-included Nobu Hotel which now occupies one of its towers. Everything here is over the top (remember, we’re in Rome), so don’t miss the 50,000-square-foot spa with its Roman bath theme, the largest buffet in the world Bacchanal), and one of the largest nightclubs in Las Vegas – the four-story Omnia. Go large or stay on a budget: there’s a way to do both here.

The Venetian Resort and Palazzo

Hotels in Las Vegas price dynamically, and a large convention or event can make room rates soar. The Las Vegas Convention Center posts a calendar of its events, and you can check large venues like Allegiant Stadium. Finally, many of the resorts themselves post calendars with their rates.

A massive Palazzo Ducale, complete with Doge’s Palace, sits right on the Strip, with singing gondoliers making their way around a canal system. The Venetian Resort is the second largest hotel in the world and with its sister resort, Palazzo , does indeed feel like the entire city of Venice—minus the pigeons and with a convenient indoor Piazza San Marco lined with restaurants. All the rooms are suites, and among the largest on the Strip, and the frescoed lobbies will temporarily convince you that you are not in Las Vegas. One of its biggest surprises is the massive Canyon Ranch Spa – an entire destination spa resort right in the hotel. Parents will love it because the shop-lined canals of its Grand Canal Shoppes will keep families busy for days, plus it has the best selection of reasonably-priced casual restaurants on the Strip. But you can also treat it as a luxe getaway, lounging at the adults-only Tao Beach pool complex and dining at the many high-end restaurants.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan has been the slightly zany, cooler younger sibling of the Strip’s megaresorts since it opened in 2010. A decidedly cool crowd stays at this cutting-edge art-filled hotel, with its three-story chandelier with three levels of bars and lounges; lobby with streaming LED columns that are constantly changing, a hidden bar and lounge inside a barbershop, and even a ski lodge inspired by the mountains of Hokkaido, Japan that serves izakaya cocktail specials until late. In the summer, theMarquee Dayclub and Nightclub provide round-the-clock fun, and in the winter its Boulevard pool turns into an ice rink.

The Four Seasons Las Vegas

One of the city’s most private pool scenes can be found at Four Seasons , which occupies floors 35 to 39 of Mandalay Bay. The Vegas climate's bark is worse than its bite. Sure, summer highs hover around 100°F, but with no humidity and ever-present air-conditioning, you'll be comfortable as long as you have water on hand. Even the warmer months (June-September) are entirely bearable if you hydrate. Luckily, with 300 days of sunshine a year, the chances of a rain-out are slim. On the other hand, nights can be chilly between late fall and early spring, so bring a sweater or windbreaker for your evening strolls beneath the neon-bathed skies. Las Vegas doesn't have a high or low season by the standard definition, but you'll find it the least crowded between November and January. Hotels are at their fullest July through October. Specific events—New Year's Eve, spring break, major conventions, sporting events—draw big crowds, so plan accordingly.

Rental Cars

Additional alamo rental car information, rates include.

• Rates include the daily rental rate, the Nevada state general excise tax, the daily vehicle rental surcharge, the daily vehicle licensing and registration fee, and the airport concession recovery fee (where applicable).

Renter Qualifications

• Renters must be at least 21 years of age at the time of the rental. Renters ages 21-24 will be subject to a daily surcharge.
• Major credit card in own name (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard)

Additional Driver Policy

• One additional driver is included in the rates.
• Additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age. Drivers 21 to 24 years of age are subject to the underage drivers fee.
• Nevada state law requires that a child under 6 years of age (up to about 60 lbs) is properly restrained in a child safety seat. (Renter responsible for securing child passenger in child safety seat in rental vehicle)

• A request for hand controls must be requested directly through Alamo's Tour Help Desk.

Accident Protection Plan

• Optional insurance plans are available to book directly through Alamo at the rental location.

Drop Charges

• The vehicle may be picked up at one location and returned to another for an additional fee.
• Fee varies by location.

Cancellation Policy

• There will be no charge for cancellations made prior to pick-up date.

Additional Budget Rental Car Information

• Valid driver's license in own name (required by law). Foreign renters must have a valid license from their home country. An international license alone is not acceptable.
• Major credit card in own name (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and Diner's Club)
• Budget vehicles may not be used for off-road use; camping is prohibited.
• A cash deposit is acceptable in lieu of a major credit card, provided customer cash qualified within certain restrictions.
• Additional drivers must be at least 25 years of age
• For additional drivers beyond the one complimentary, a daily fee will apply and will be charged at the Budget rental location.
• Child safety seats are available for a daily surcharge and must be requested in advance.
• A request for hand controls must be requested directly through Budget's Tour Help Desk.
• Optional insurance plans are available to book directly through Budget at the rental location.
