Highly recommend booking your K’gari Fraser Island tour with this company if you plan to visit. Our accommodation was ideal and had everything you’d need – own toilet, toiletries, shower, beds, towels etc. The campsite was great all our meals were included and cooked for us. Our tour guide Brett was fantastic, he had us up and out early every morning so we could enjoy the beautiful lakes and walks all to ourselves before other tour groups arrived. He knew so much history/stories about the island and it’s traditional owners the Butchulla people, which added to the whole experience.

If you’re looking for a sustainable, interesting and very fun experience, I can truly recommend booking the 3 day tour with K’Gari Adventures! It was so worth it, we’ve spent so much time exploring the island, driving the cars on the beach and in the inland, our tour guide Troy was amazing!! He told us heaps of stories about himself, the island and its history and about the beautiful sky full of stars at night! We’ve seen all attractions and we’ve always been the first ones to arrive, which I see as a result of the guide’s experience. The accommodation and the food was amazing and the whole group dynamics were nice. It definitely felt like a small group even tough we’ve been quite a few people. Thank you!

Most people who go and visit K’gari would probably absolutely love it but what I loved about this tour was our tour leader Mark and his clear passion and excitement about the island. With his history, stories and love for this island, it would be hard not to fall in love with this place and want to come back again (which I desperately do!) The food was great, the accommodation was clean and nice and the tour gave you just enough time in each place to enjoy it but also you visited so many different areas. I also liked that you did all the driving as that was all part of the experience. I would literally recommend this to anyone!

Seemingly endless golden beaches encompass towering hardwood forests, barren heathland, pristine rainforests, huge creeping sandblow deserts, crystal clear freshwater lakes, gurgling blood red streams, prehistoric ferns, mosaic coloured sands.

• Early morning departure from the Sunshine Coast.
• Whenever possible - 40 miles beach, famous "Coloured Sands"/Wide Bay to Rainbow Beach
• Ferry Crossing (drive on/drive off) over The Great Sandy Strait to the southern tip of “World Heritage” K'gari (Fraser Island).
• Travel along narrow inland 4WD Sand Tracks through heathlands and towering hardwood forests to our destination… crystal clear Lake McKenzie (Lake Boorangoora).
• Lake McKenzie – world famous for its turquoise colours and fine dazzling white 92% pure silica sands. Swimming – a refreshing dip…..fantastic. *swim/lunch approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
• Lunch is a delicious “Aussie Style" bush picnic. Fresh daily - tasty salad rolls - choices of ham, chicken or beef. Vegetarian option - Greek salad wraps. Gluten Free and Vegan on request. Enjoy healthy tropical fruits. All served with complimentary icy cold beer, wine and soft drinks.
• Explore Central Station, an old Forestry Station surrounded by magnificent rainforests. Get a hearty dose of adventure on this day long 4WD tour of Fraser Island . Throughout the day, you’ll experience the stunning landscapes of the island and get to know the world’s largest sandbank. Stretching over 120 kms and offering sweeping views of the coast, Fraser Island is home to ancient rainforest , pristine beaches and iconic Aussie wildlife like Dingoes and Humpback Whales.

We’ll start the day from Rainbow Beach, heading towards Fraser Island through the Toolara State Forest. We’ll make a quick stop in Rainbow Beach centre before heading over to Fraser Island via the barge at Inskip Point.

Once we’ve arrived at Fraser Island, we’ll travel along the rugged coastal road of Seventy-Five Mile Beach . If you’re lucky, we may even get the chance to spot some wild dingoes on the way! Enjoy morning tea before exploring the lush expanse of rainforest and iconic wildlife that sprawls out towards the centre of this renowned island.

Then it’s onwards to the perched lake of Lake McKenzie , where we’ll stop to admire the clear blue water, white sand and surrounding rainforest that sprawl inland. Here we’ll set up to have an authentic Aussie lunch to get energy up for the adventure ahead, while enjoying the stunning surrounding scenery.
