Her stage name is Tove Lo. Her real name is Tove Ebba Elsa Nilsson. She was born on October 29th 1987 and comes from Stockholm, Sweden. She is foreign pop act still young and with plenty ahead of her.

The Swedish sensation Tove Lo is a Stockholm born songwriter, Sweden's answer to La Roux. Her mixture of synthesized beats and pop melodies evoke those of her British counterpart, but there are elements of many female pop acts in her music. From Taylor Swift to the more edgy, surreal pop musician BANKS.

Her debut EP 'Truth Serum,' was only released in March this year, transporting Tove into the world of music fame and success. But her album was eagerly awaited by fans when her single back in 2013 'Habits' teleported her into the limelight. She had gone from zero to dance hero. Her song would be played all over the radio for weeks and DJ's were banging out her tune night after night across the world. She was now a world success!

Her EP continues to shine months after its release with tunes such as 'Not on Drugs,' and 'Thousand Miles' pushing Tove along the road to glory. Although a pop act by origin, Tove does have that edgier, mysterious side to her which does drift her away from the likes of Taylor Swift, and rightly so. She deserves to have her own light on her, a dark gloomy mischievous glow of a light.

But in September Tove Lo declared her debut album fit for release, and 'Queen of the Clouds' was finally out in the charts. She is currently touring around the world, and is set to play Electric Ballroom in London which will be a fitting place for the pop starlet.

Interestingly Tove has also written songs for other artists including Cher Llyod and Girls Aloud. Tove is the next song writing genius that female pop needs.

Live reviews

I first heard Tove Lo on the radio, briefly for about 24 seconds, it was the end of her Habits (Stay High), and from that point forward, I was a fan. Tove Los music will vibe with anyone that can connect with being what we call "The Wandering Heart", as well many others, who can individually connect with any one of the songs topics individually. All of her music is about love, but to me focuses more on being a Wandering Heart. Someone who is always in love, searching for love when they do not have it, falls hard, quickly, fast, passionately, truly, but is unable to maintain the eternal flame of love to sustain a relationship, always searching for someone to make them feel that fire, just one more time.

Tove Los sound and lyrics are amazing. If you are able to understand their true meaning, they are capable of helping you through difficult times, and help heal.

I saw her concert and the Metro in Chicago. I have never been TO a concert, or a standing one. The whole crowd in your face thing was very, woah for me, took a backhand to the face from a wandering hair flip. Think I need to to more concerts. The stage was set up awesome, and the whole crowd was vibrating with anticipation.

I watch Tove Lo live performance videos all the time. Watching her live, was SO much more incredible. You can tell that she feels her music, that she wants to give you a good performance. She engaged with the audience a lot, and also put the mic at the audience and let us sing a few times. I love artists who enjoy getting their fans into their performances because it makes it more personal, and more intimate that performance. Its YOUR show that day.

She made several "runs" in her songs, that were unique, and I had not heard her do them that way in the recordings I have watched of other live, and definitely not the actual album. Another mark of a true artist and musician to me, because she strives to give each audience a unique performance.

I would list what songs I like, and why, but I am serious when I say, there is not a single song, on the album or not, that I do not like. Songs like Paradise, Not Made for this World, both incredible. Songs in collaboration like Stranger with Seven Lions, and Run on Love with Lucas Nord.

I have purchased two of her deluxe albums, and there is not a single song on it, that I do not like, and I would like to believe, if you listened to the songs she has put up on VEVO, that you would find a connection in each one, even if that period of your life has passed, and you simply connect with the song and reminisce, and you would buy the album yourself, or maybe a song or two.

The day of my concert, nothing went to plan, tons of stuff went wrong. The moment Tove Lo walked onto stage and started to sing My Gun, none of it mattered anymore. I couldn't take pictures or video my phone was in my pocket, like a siren, she had me fully entranced in her music, my arms went up and I belted every lyric with her. That's how good she is :-p

The moment I heard Tove Lo was playing at The Nottinghill Arts Club in London, I felt like my weeks of obsessing over her newest EP were going to conclude with a bang.

Her music is an odd blend of electro and pop, but together with her unique lyrics and singing style, she brings out a novel side of new indie music. She's smart, beautiful, and incredibly talented, and you can see all of this plastered across her behaviour on stage and the way she performs. When she sang 'Stay High', the newest single from her EP, it was like a semi-intoxicated haze fell over the entire audience. She sings the kind of music that makes you want to cruise in your car, thinking about your life so far. She comes out in her high-waisted white shorts, white shirt, and signature messed up hair. Whenever I see Tove Lo I always think she's slightly high, but she takes the microphone close to her mouth and pulls out a clear, poignant note, and then another, and another. She's a serious performer, and she takes herself and her own work with pride - a quality that really shines in her music and demeanour.

The first time I discovered Tove Lo's song, 'Stay High', I listened to it on repeat for days, before obsessing over 'Not On Drugs', and then the rest of her EP. Hearing them performed live only made me more of a fan of this upcoming Scandinavian star - she's going places, and it's only a matter of time before she starts hitting up the stage at some of the biggest festivals in Europe and the US.

She's such an entertainer... great singer, great dancer. The setlist was a dream come true: all the hits we love plus some amazing album tracks which deserved to be played live.

You can tell she loves performing. Talking Bodies, He's Gone and Habits made the audience roar.

It's quite amazing to see how prolific she's been in these past few years when everything began.

The venue, Teatro Vorterix was perhaps not the best place to host her. Sound was good, but too hot with almost no ventilation (she evend made a comment on that, and a few people fainted and had to be carried out), people were smoking pot and regular cigarretes all over the place, with little control by the staff. I still find it quite frustrating people cannot respect each other. It wasn't allowed to smoke within the premises. No good ventilation + smoke= not a good idea.

Overall she was truly good, and I'd see her again a million times. Hopefully in better venues.

Tove Lo, the Must-See Swedish Sensation Tove is still pretty fresh on the concert circuit in the US, but you wouldn't know it seeing her outstanding performance. Not only is her music catchy, dancy and lyrically interesting, but she feels like your bff chatting with you in the audience between songs. Tove is very charming as she describes why she wrote each tune, who inspired her, and thanks the audience, still barely able to believe the massive crowd, for coming to see her. Her songs are extremely relatable, and make you feel like any heartbreak you've ever felt is going to be ok, because you're not the only one. And then she also has just the right super peppy jams that you can't help but sing and bounce along to. If Tove is in your city, immediately grab your girlfriends and go see her. You will be thrilled with her quirky humor and electro pop sound.

Tove Lo, is a very talented song writer. We had side stage seats and we almost felt bad for her as she waited within our viewing site for almost ten minutes before the stage was ready. She began with a song I love, Not on Drugs, and she had us "flying with the kites in the sky so blue." She tends to sway a lot, more like early Ellie Goulding, but she does put her heart into her songs. She played new material including the catchy Cool Girl and her new song with Wiz Khalifa. Of course she did Habits and Talking Body, but she skipped one of my favorites TimeBomb. It's still true when you Google "the saddest girl in Sweden" the search comes up "Tove Lo". She's so much more than that, I hope people will keep watching her because she is amazing and puts on a really good show.

Although the sound was awful . We could barely listen to her voice sometimes and the Music was in a higher pitch than her voice .

I was trying to speak to the guy who was responsible for the sound but he didn't pay attention .

It was very amateur sound ,if I was Tove lo I would be very upset .

Also the stage is very low and most of people we were complaining that we could barely see the artist.

So I wouldn't recommend Empire for a concert

Tove Lo really put her heart out to give us a performance I won't regret in Paris for her Lady Wood Tour. She connected with the audience, explaining what's her songs are about sometimes. She sang both songs from the previous album and from the new one to please everyone. She really interprets her songs in a way that even if you don't speak her language, you can understand her, as said in the previous reviews.

We managed to get to our seats *just* as Tove's set was ending: with as many artists as they had slated, most sets were three songs or less. That said, what we heard of her performance was great. Makes me want to see a longer show. Was kind of disappointed that, with the number of collaborating artists participating in the overall concert that didn't get to see her singing in other performers' sets.

I really enjoyed Tove Lo at the Moda Center. I actually purchased the ticket to see her, but Coldplay was an excellent headliner. I look forward to eventually seeing a show that she headlines where the production quality of the show matches her passion and vision as a performing artist.

Tove Lo was such a great performer. She's as good live as she is on her albums. The venue was great, nice location and excellent staff. I'm glad she isn't afraid to be herself on stage. Such an amazing perfomer. I had so much fun and so did my aunt, I took her for my birthday.

Tove Lo Announces 2023 Dirt Femme Tour

Get ready to cry and dance at the same time.

Get your glitter and dancing shoes ready because Tove Lo is coming to a city near you. The Swedish singer just announced her next tour with locations spanning across North America and Europe.

The singer’s Dirt Femme Tour will kick off with performances across Europe and the UK this fall, then in February of 2023, she’ll take the show to North America. The run of dates is in support of her forthcoming fifth studio album, Dirt Femme , out October 14, 2022, via her own record label, Pretty Swede Records.

Announcing the tour on Instagram, the singer is already teasing an unforgettable show. “Prepare yourselves mentally and physically (learn all the words to new songs, cry and dance at the same time, make out with people, etc),” she wrote. Left-field pop singer Slayyyter will also join Tove Lo on the tour as the opener for North American dates, so there will be extra chaotic pop goodness to look forward to.

Where is Tove Lo Performing?

Tove Lo’s ‘Dirt Femme’ Tour has stops scheduled throughout North America and Europe. The first leg of shows will begin on October 29 at the Olympia Theater in Dublin Ireland. Then, after a brief hiatus, the second half of the tour will start on February 6th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Tove Lo Announces A North American Tour This Summer In Support Of ‘Sunshine Kitty’

Tove Lo has had a busy year so far. After dropping her album Sunshine Kitty late last year, the singer released two singles at the same time, with videos accompanying “ Sweettalk My Heart ” and “ Bikini Porn .” She then followed up with the project “ Calling On Me ” with Sean Paul. Now, after a successful UK tour, Tove Lo is getting ready to hit the road once again for a North American tour.

“The US tour was incredible,” the singer said in a statement following a few shows in support of Sunshine Kitty . “I think it’s the best live production I’ve ever had, and the crowds were just so amazing. It was obviously a bit challenging performing with a broken foot, but it almost created an extra close energy with the fans. I’m really looking forward to be able to dance my ass off at the up coming summer shows when I’m all healed!”

Tove Lo announced a North American summer tour. The brief trek launches May 6th in Orlando, Florida and wraps June 25th in Cleveland, Ohio.

The electro-pop singer’s live schedule also includes slots at the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama on May 15th; the Firefly Festival on June 21st in Dover, Delaware; and the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Canada on August 1st. Bookending her North American tour are separate runs in the U.K. and Europe; her first date is March 9th in Glasgow, and her last scheduled date is August 22nd at the Parken Festival in Bodø, Norway.

“The US tour was incredible,” Lo said in a statement of the recent jaunt supporting her 2019 LP, Sunshine Kitty . “I think it’s the best live production I’ve ever had, and the crowds were just so amazing. It was obviously a bit challenging performing with a broken foot, but it almost created an extra close energy with the fans. I’m really looking forward to be able to dance my ass off at the up coming summer shows when I’m all healed!”

Love, who made a guest spot on Sean Paul’s February single “Calling on Me,” paired the tour announcement with a lyric video for her Doja Cat-featured 2019 track “Equally Lost.” The clip includes a guest spot from the animated “Sunshine Kitty,” the character that appears on that album’s cover.

Tove Lo Announces Dirt Femme Tour Dates

Tove Lo announced additional dates and locations for “Dirt Femme” tour! Building on her newly released single “Borderline” her world domination and estranged love story carries on to fans worldwide. While her tour dates in America continue, Tove Lo will be joined with Slayyyter for her America tour. Slayyyter, an American pop singer with lead single “Mine” released in 2019, will be opening for Tove Lo’s shows.

Aa a special add-on, Tove Lo has more America headline shows that will begin in May. She stated “Special shout out to fiiiiiiinally getting back to FL, and also making up the shows in Cologne and Brussels I was so sad to miss in November.” Last year, Tove Lo had to cancel her concert in La Madeline Brussels, releasing this message to disappointed fans,

I’m devastated to say that I have food poisoning and while all I want to do is play for you tonight at La Madeleine, I have no voice and unable to give you the show you deserve so very very sadly need to cancel. All tickets will be refunded at point of purchase and tickets holders will be notified via email. I promise we will come back to Brussels as soon as possible. Tove Lo released statement, November 8, 2022.

Tove Lo is definitely a woman of her word.

Tove Lo’s Tour Expands Into Europe

The Swedish singer and songwriter has already begun the Dirt Femme tour, starting in Nashville Tennessee. After her May tours, the story and the saga continues in Europe during June. The featured artist during Tove’s European performances is none other than Finnish legend Alma .

As Tove Lo said best, it looks like it’s going to be a “Dirt Femme Summer” so get ready.

Tove Lo Tour Dates 2023: Where to buy tickets and more

Tove Lo, a Swedish singer and songwriter, has revealed that she will embark on a tour of North America in early 2023 to promote her upcoming album, “Dirt Femme.” During February and March, the tour will visit 17 cities, including important cities in the United States, such as Nashville, Philadelphia, Denver, Seattle, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Shows are scheduled in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, Canada. A special guest named Slayyyter will accompany the tour as a support act. The singer just finished a quick tour of the United States earlier this year, during which Noga Erez supported her.

On October 14, 2022, Lo will release her fourth studio album, “Dirt Femme,” under her own Pretty Swede Records label. Released in 2019, ‘Sunshine Kitty’ debuted at #61 on the Billboard 200 and featured Kylie Minogue, Doja Cat, and Jax Jones. In 2017, the performer kicked off her Lady Wood Tour, which took place across North America and Europe and featured backing from Phoebe Ryan and Broods. After the dissolution of the math rock band Tremblebee, Ebba started her solo career as a songwriter. She immediately became well-known for her pop music, distinctively influenced by grunge.

Tove Lo’s Routines and Preferences

Tove Lo began creating songs with a friend in 2006 when she launched her career as a singer-songwriter. They became known as Tremblebee, a math rock band they established, and they played shows in bars all around Sweden. The band disbanded in the end, which opened the door for Lo to pursue a career in the pop music arena. She utilized this opportunity to educate herself on record production and to work on her demos. Love Ballad was her debut single, which she released in 2012, and Habits (Stay High) was her second single, which she released in 2013. After the publication of Habits, Tove Lo had a tremendous increase in her fame (Stay High). Her growing online following at the time and the popularity of her second track led to Universal Music making an offer to sign her to a recording contract.

Tove Lo was awarded the Song of the Year at the Grammys Sweden Music Awards in 2015 for her single “Habits (Stay High)” and was awarded Best Female Artist of the Year at the Scandipop Awards in 2015. Tove Lo was nominated for Grammy and Golden Globe awards in 2016 for the song “Love Me As You Do.” The Grammy nomination was for the song’s Best Song Written for Visual Media category, and the Golden Globe nomination was for the song’s Best Original Song category.

Tove Lo is a famous pop singer and songwriter from Sweden. The Swedish pop vocal star will open her Queen of the Clouds tour on Sept. 28 at Observatory North Park (the venue formerly known as the North Park Theater.). It will conclude Aug. 21 in New York City. The tour takes its name from her 2014 debut album. The full itinerary appears below.

Tove Lo’s real name is Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson. She has written or co-written songs for Ellie Goulding, Icona Pop, Hillary Duff, Girls Aloud, Lea Michele, Alesso, The Saturdays and others.

Father John Misty and the Head and the Heart

Father John Misty is co-headlining a summer tour with the Head and the Heart, featuring support from Miya Folick. The joint outing’s single Canadian stop is in Vancouver on August 8. Before his solo career and signing to Sub Pop, Father John Misty—born Joshua Michael Tillman—joined the Seattle  folk rockers Fleet Foxes as their drummer. His latest effort is Chloë and the Next 20th Century , while the Head and the Heart’s is Every Shade of Blue . Both records were released last year.

Orville Peck’s Bronco Tour rolls through North America this summer, stopping in Vancouver in July. El Trophy Tour de la America’s Cup se encuentra en medio de su recorrido

Sus siguientes paradas serán tarragona, cambrils y finalizará en la capital catalana como preámbulo a la competición oficial.

Los clubes náuticos de los municipios han colaborado con America’s Cup Event (ACE), Emirates Team New Zealand, los ayuntamientos y la Generalitat de Catalunya para poder exhibir el trofeo, contar su historia e informar sobre las novedades de esta edición que se disputará en unas semanas en Barcelona. Además, han fomentado la participación de la comunidad local con regatas y otras actividades culturales y gastronómicas.

L’Escala fue el escenario de la primera parada del Trophy Tour de la America’s Cup, atrayendo a los asistentes al Mar de Empúries. Durante el evento, se presentó oficialmente el codiciado trofeo en el Muelle de Espera del Club Nàutic L’Escala. La ceremonia contó con la participación de figuras destacadas como Narcís Carreras, presidente del Club Nàutic L’Escala, Grant Dalton, CEO de America’s Cup, Joan Plana, vicepresidente segundo del Patronato de Turismo Costa Brava, Anna Torrentà, delegada de la Generalitat de Catalunya en Girona y Josep Bofill, alcalde de L’Escala.

Los aficionados pudieron conocer detalles de la 37ª America’s Cup y sacarse fotos con el trofeo más antiguo del deporte internacional. La jornada incluyó una variedad de actividades en la escuela de vela del club, con casi 80 navegantes participando en ellas. Los visitantes disfrutaron de un village que ofrecía una experiencia inmersiva sobre la historia de la competición, sus embarcaciones y tripulaciones, además de una degustación gastronómica de varios productos locales.

En la ciudad de la comarca del Baix Empordà hubo una exhibición del equipo de regatas del Club Nàutic Costa Brava – Vela Palamós con motivo de la visita de este mítico trofeo. Hablaron ante los aficionados Miquel Aviño, vicepresidente del club, Natalia Via-Dufresne, la exregatista olímpica y responsable de operaciones en el agua de America’s Cup Event (ACE) Barcelona y del alcalde de Palamós, Lluís Puig.

Por su parte, en el municipio del Maresme se organizó una regata social con la participación de varios de los clubes de la comarca , una exhibición de la clase Patí català y una degustación de conservas. Durante el acto, estuvo presente Laura Martínez Portell, alcaldesa de Vilassar de Mar.

La siguiente parada también está siendo un éxito rotundo. Las actividades organizadas por el Club Nàutic de Sitges han incluido una regata con equipos formados por los alumnos de la escuela de vela local y una exhibición de regatistas de Patí de Vela . La acción continuará por la tarde en el Passeig de la Ribera con la llegada del trofeo que traerá consigo más espectáculos como la realización de una obra pictórica a cargo de un artista local.

Este domingo 30 de junio juega la selección española contra Georgia en los octavos de final de la Eurocopa 2024. Antes, otra de las favoritas como Inglaterra se medirá a Eslovaquia . En la Copa América, México se mide a Ecuador con la clasificación en juego, mientras que Jamaica se enfrenta a la líder Venezuela en el Grupo B.

Eurocopa, octavos de final:

España - Georgia: la selección española disputará los octavos de final de la Eurocopa 2024 contra Georgia , donde llega en un estado de forma excelente tras liderar con plena autoridad el Grupo B. El combinado nacional sumó un pleno de 9 puntos al ganar a Croacia (3-0), Italia (1-0) y Albania (0-1), respectivamente.

Luis de la Fuente , seleccionador español, ha liderado de forma magistral por ahora a la selección española en esta Eurocopa. Se medirá a una accesible a priori Georgia, contra la que ya coincidió en la fase de clasificación. Por aquel entonces, aplastó a la selección georgiana en Tbilisi por un contundente 1-7 , mientras que en la segunda vuelta la doblegó en el estadio José Zorrilla de Valladolid por un claro 3-1.

En la fase de grupos, s e ha clasificado Georgia como tercera del Grupo F con 4 puntos . A pesar de terminar por detrás de Portugal y de Turquía, las dos naciones con seis puntos, ha sido una de las mejores terceras de la Eurocopa y está en octavos de final, un hito histórico a todas luces.

Inglaterra - Eslovaquia: ambas selecciones se ven las caras en el partido que forma parte de los octavos de final de esta Eurocopa 2024. Los 'Pross', que nunca han conquistado el título europeo, se quedaron a las puertas en la pasada edición y cuentan con una potente generación de jugadores para lograr el título.

Vienen de liderar el Grupo C los ingleses con 5 puntos , donde han dejado dudas en su imagen y nivel de juego. Habían empezado con el pie derecho y ganaron por 1-0 a Serbia en el primer partido, con un gol de Jude Bellingham. Sin embargo, ya en el segundo encuentro encontraron dificultades al empatar con Dinamarca (1-1) en este Grupo C. En el tercero volvieron a dejar un juego gris e igualaron fuerzas con la sorprendente Eslovenia (0-0), algo que tiene muy cuestionado al seleccionador Gareth Southgate.

Por parte de Eslovaquia , terminó en la tercera posición del Grupo E con cuatro puntos. Se ha clasificado como una de las cuatro mejores terceras, en un grupo muy competido. Rumanía, Bélgica, la selección eslovaca y Ucrania todas terminaron empatadas con el mismo puntaje (4), por lo que los emparejamientos directos y las diferencias de goles fueron decisivas.

Copa América:

México - Ecuador: las dos selecciones se enfrentan en este tercer partido del Grupo B de la Copa América 2024, donde tienen en juego la clasificación. Mexicanos y ecuatorianos suman tres puntos y ocupan la segunda y tercera posición, con tres puntos cada uno.

Así pues, quien gane se clasificará directamente. México viene de caer en el segundo partido ante Venezuela (1-0) , merced a un gol de Salomón Rondón de penalti. Así pues, necesita la victoria si quiere pasar la fase de grupos, en un duelo 'a vida o muerte' contra Ecuador.

Así quedaron los colombianos en la etapa 2 del Tour de Francia 2024: clasificación y posiciones

El Tour de Francia 2024 tuvo su segunda jornada en territorio italiano . Este domingo se corrió la etapa 2 entre Cesenatico y Bolonia, una carrera de media montaña con 6 puertos: 5 de tercera categoría y uno de cuarta. La fuga fue protagonista desde los primeros kilómetros y allí estuvo metido un colombiano, Harold Tejada, ciclista del Astana Qazaqstan Team.

Tejada siempre estuvo luchando con un grupo de 10, 11 corredores, entre ellos el ganador de la etapa, el francés Kévin Vauquelin del Arkéa . Al final se cansó y quedó descolgado de la punta en el Alto de San Luca, faltando casi 20 kilómetros para el final.

“Estuve atento al inicio, fue un día largo. Se intentó (...) Son 21 días, hoy no fue, pero quedan días. Me sentía muy bien . Él estaba más fuerte (Vauquelin), iba muy rápido, pero yo estoy feliz por el resultado”, comentó Tejada al terminar la etapa en Bolonia. El colombiano entró en la quinta posición a 49 segundos del ganador.

El segundo mejor colombiano del día fue Egan Bernal, corredor del INEOS, quien llegó a meta a 2 minutos y 42 segundos en la casilla 23. En la clasificación general asciende al séptimo lugar a 21 segundos del líder, el esloveno Tadej Pogacar.

Clasificación de etapa para los colombianos

Pogacar es el nuevo líder del tour de francia.

La pelea entre Tadej Pogacar y Jonas Vingegaard tuvo su primer capítulo a 13 kilómetros de la meta . El esloveno, reciente ganador del Giro de Italia, atacó en el tramo final de la última subida dejando regados a sus rivales, menos a uno, al danés Jonas Vingegaard, bicampeón del Tour de Francia.

Vingegaard y Pogacar se fueron juntos en un mano a mano si sacarse ventaja, entraron decimotercero y decimocuarto respectivamente, a 2:21 de Vauquelin . Finalmente, Richard Carapaz y Remco Evenepoel los adelantaron en los últimos metros, siendo décimo y decimosegundo. El maillot amarillo es para Pogi.

El Tour de Francia continuará en Italia dos jornadas más. Este lunes será una etapa llana de 230 kilómetros entre Piacenza y Turín . Seguramente el ganador se definirá al sprint entre los especialistas de la velocidad.
