Der  30-minütige  Kurzfilm , in dem Karen Sailer ihre magische Reise in ein vergangenes Leben  in epischen Bildern  erzählt , wurde im Sommer 2019 in Frankreich gedreht und hat  im November seine  deutsche  Kinopremiere unter Standing Ovations gefeiert . E ine Woche später   gewann er  den Award „Bester internationaler Kurzfilm“ auf dem Equus Filmfestival in den U SA .    Das Cosmic Cine Festival  verlieh ihm im April 20 den Award „ Special Impact 2020“ .                                                                                

Ziel des Kurzfilms war es  als  magnetischer Trailer für eine n Roman und eine   große  Filmproduktion zu stehen.  Mit dem Ausbruch der Corona Krise   und dem wachsenden Bedürfnis der  M enschen nach  bewusstseinserweiternden Filmen   wurde er Teil der neuen  Streaming Plattform  Pantaray,  die  ausschließlich   Filme  zeigen, die  d er  Transformation  der Menschheit dienen.

 Zukünftiges Format

Ein epischer Kinofilm oder eine TV-Serie mit 5 Staffeln a 10 Episoden – die Geschichte hat das Potential in jedem Format die Leinwand zu erobern. Inspiriert von erfolgreichen Filmen wie Herr der Ringe und Serien, wie GOT, Outlander und Messias, verwebt sie die Seelenreisen von neuen Frauen in einem epischen Bogen, von der Verfolgung weiser Frauen im Mittelalter bis zu den Auswirkungen auf ihr Leben in der heutigen Zeit

Eine kleine mysteriöse Reiterfigur gibt Karen den Schlüssel zu ihrem vergangenen Leben als Kriegerin im 16. Jahrhundert. Gemeinsam mit ihren Gefährtinnen von damals setzt sie 2020 ihre Mission fort das dunkle Geheimnis des Christentums zu enthüllen und die Liebe in eine Welt zurück zu bringen, die endlich erwacht.

Die Welt ist im Wandel. Überall lösen sich alte Machtstrukturen auf und führen zu Chaos und Unsicherheit.

Die Entwicklungsgeschichte der Erde hat 2000 Jahre männlicher Dominanz hinter sich, in dem die weibliche Kraft zu einer Vielzahl von Schwächen degradiert wurde. Die bisherige Geschichte der Frauen ist eine Vertreibungsgeschichte, die voller Verletzungen und Traumen im Tiefenbewusstsein jedes Menschen und vor allem jeder Frau lebt. Die Erinnerung an Verfolgung, Folter und gewaltsamen Tod ist im Zellbewusstsein der Menschen gespeichert und führt jetzt, in der Zeit des kollektiven Erwachens, zu großen inneren Konflikten. Die Zunahme an Depressionen und Krankheiten sind eine Folge davon, die mit gängigen Methoden nicht geheilt werden können.

Die Zeit ist reif für ein neues Bewusstsein, wer wir Menschen wirklich sind, welche Kraft wir haben und wie wir sie nutzen können, um eine neue menschenwürdige Weltordnung zu erschaffen. Nie waren die Menschen offener und bereiter sich einer neuen Wahrnehmung zu stellen und Botschaften der Hoffnung und Inspiration zu empfangen.

An diesem Punkt bekommt die Filmindustrie eine neue Verantwortung. Es geht nicht mehr allein um Entertainment, es geht darum Filme zu produzieren, die den Prozess der Transformation der Menschheit unterstützen, ohne dabei Spannung, Wow Faktor und finanziellen Erfolg einzubüßen. Filme, die eine Brücke zwischen Fiktion und Realität schaffen, die Waffen gegen die Macht des Herzens eintauschen und die Menschen dazu inspirieren, aufzustehen und sich auf ihren eigenen lichtvollen Weg zu machen.

Jeder Mann und jede Frau, unabhängig von Alter, Hautfarbe und Religion wird sich in ihren Geschichten wiedererkennen, denn in jedem lebt eine Seele, die schon viele Male gelebt hat und die nun bereit ist, die Schatten der Vergangenheit aufzulösen, um ihr Bestes der Welt zur Verfügung zu stellen.

EIN PERSÖNLICHES WORT

Ich wurde mit einer besonderen Gabe geboren. Ich kann mich an vergangene Leben erinnern. Das hat mir nichts erspart, aber viel erklärt. Genauso wie alle Menschen bin ich alle Irrwege gegangen, die das Leben mir bot. Mit einem Unterschied: ich kannte das Warum. Nicht gleich zu Anfang, aber ich habe mich auf die Suche gemacht und es immer irgendwann gefunden. Genauso wie ich die Menschen gefunden habe, oder sie mich, wie auch immer du es sehen willst, die zu mir gehören. Die sich entschieden haben die Reise, die wir Leben nennen, mit mir noch einmal anzutreten.

Das Universum ist eine gigantische Erzählung und wir alle haben darin unsere Geschichte. Seelen sind mit unsichtbaren Fäden miteinander verbunden und finden sich wieder, wenn ihre Zeit gekommen ist. Meistens beginnt die Reise mit einer Kleinigkeit. Etwas, dem wir erst gar keine Bedeutung zumessen. Bis es plötzlich ganz groß wird und unser Leben aus den Angeln habt.

Die Figur, die er mir beim Abschied in die Hand legte, war sehr klein. Nicht grösser als ein winziger Vogel und genauso fühlte sie sich auch an. Sie hatte ein Herz. Ein großes kräftig pochendes Herz. Wann immer ich meine Finger um sie schloss spürte ich es. Zusammen mit einer wachsenden Unruhe. Diese vertraute Unruhe, die nichts Gutes verhieß. Wie gut ich sie kannte. Und fürchtete.

Sie drängte mich hinaus aus allem was mir vertraut war. Aus meinem Job, aus meiner Familie, aus meinem ganzen schönen Leben. Wieder einmal rief mich etwas, das ich noch nicht benennen konnte. Ich wusste nur eins: Es war zwecklos sich zu wehren.

Und so trat ich meine Reise an, ohne das Ziel zu kennen.

Karen Sailer, 1962 geboren, wuchs in Deutschland auf und lebt seit 1995 auf Ibiza, Spanien. Als sie mit 14 Jahren gefragt wurde, was sie werden möchte antwortete sie: Tierärztin, Textildesignerin, Landschaftsarchitektin, Schriftstellerin und Filmemacherin. Sie ist ihrem roten Faden gefolgt, hat Tiermedizin studiert, war 7 Jahre Chefdesignerin einer Teppichfirma in Nepal um danach in 25 Jahren zur erfolgreichsten Landschaftsarchitektin Ibizas zu werden.

Ihre Gabe Wüsten in Paradiese zuverwandeln hat sie als moderne Medizinfrau, die bei den großen Weisheitsträgern unserer Erde gelernt hat, auf die Arbeit mit Menschen und Pferden ausgedehnt. 2010 hat sie das preisgekrönte Projekt Alegria gegründet, in dem junge Menschen zusammen mit Pferden die spirituellen und praktischen Werkzeuge des Lebens lernen, um auf die Welt vorbereitet zu sein. Love your life, learn the tools, live your dream ist ihr Motto, mit dem sie 2019 tausende von Frauen in ihrem Online Programm Wild Heart raus aus der Depression und hin zu ihrer wahren Lebensaufgabe geführt hat.

Karen Sailer hat sich oft gehäutet und mit der Reise zurück in ihr vergangenes Leben als Kriegerin im Frankreich des 16.Jahrhunderts ein neues Kapitel in ihrem bewegten Leben aufgeschlagen. Die Veröffentlichung eines 12 minütigen Kurzfilms im Februar 2019 über ihr Erlebnis mit der alten Reiterfigur und die Entscheidung ihre magische Reise offen und authentisch auf den sozialen Medien zu teilen, hat sie schlagartig zu einer öffentlichen Person gemacht, der tausende von Menschen seitdem atemlos folgen.

Im Sommer 2019 produzierte sie den 30-minütigen Kurzfilm My Magical Journey, der auf der Premiere in Köln im November zu Standing Ovations führte. Eine Woche später gewann er auf dem Equus Filmfestival in Kentucky den Preis bester internationaler Kurzfilm.

Karen Sailer hat ihre neue Karriere als Autorin und Produzentin im Januar 2020 auch auf andere Filme ausgedehnt, die der Transformation der Menschheit dienen. Ihr erster Auftritt als Executiver Producer gilt dem Dokumentarfilm The Black Cowboy von Charles Perry, der die Geschichte aus der Perspektive der schwarzen Cowboys erzählt, die bis heute aus der Erfolgsgeschichte Amerikas herausgeschnitten worden sind.

2020 wird sie die deutsche Kinoproduktion Wildherz als Co-Produzentin, Mentorin und Schauspielerin unterstützen.

Ihre magische Reise ist noch lange nicht zu Ende. Ihr Ziel ist es Millionen von Menschen mit ihren Filmen zu einem authentischen, selbstbestimmten und achtsamen Leben zu inspirieren, damit eine neue Matrix des respektvollen Zusammenlebens zwischen Mann und Frau, den Völkern, Hautfarben und Religionen auf unserem Planeten entstehen kann.

She's told her parents are dead, and we later see how two members of her family did die in a fire (caused by another relative). She's chased by men, and finds herself in a series of dangerous situations. In one, she's in a war-ravaged landscape and sees a man taken hostage at gunpoint. In another, schoolchildren are made to wear dunce caps, threatened by a teacher, and shut into a cage at the back of a classroom. Men engage in fist and sword fights, where one dies but is brought back to life, and a man gets hit over the head with a pan. A woman directs her servants to prepare a child for her to eat for dinner. A man threatens to conduct experiments on kids and tries to electrocute a small boy, getting electrocuted himself. A young girl and a grown man engage in a boxing match where they both get thrown around, as does another man who jumps in to help.

Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that the Ukrainian/Belgian film A Magical Journey is a child-centric fantasy adventure where kids face a variety of threats. Among them, getting chased, locked up, nearly poisoned, threatened with electrocution, mocked, almost cooked for dinner, thrown to the ground, and chased by adults. Other men are beaten up, killed then brought back to life, hit over the head, thrown around, electrocuted, taken hostage at gun point, and tied up. A young girl watches how two members of her family die in a fire that was intentionally set by another relative. All of this is played for fantasy, as if inside different movies, but the dangers are real to the characters. Language includes "damn," "hell," "ass," "idiot." There's occasional cigarette smoking and one scene where a group of men appear to be drunk. A young girl is told to kiss a frog to see if he turns into a prince. It’s simply not giving, i wanted to fall asleep but couldn’t cause I was crying at the fact of it being so bad.

What's the story.

A MAGICAL JOURNEY sees 11-year-old Polina (Polina Pechenenko) escape her abusive home, where she lives with an aunt and grown male cousin, to try to find out what happened to her missing parents. She knows the mystery involves a movie studio, and once there, a man ( Jean Reno ) appears to her in a hologram and tells her she must piece together the sections of a family photo in order to solve the mystery before midnight, when she turns 12. Her search for the missing pieces of the photo takes her to different stages in the studio, each of which sends her into a different setting, or movies starring a shared cast of actors. She must escape a variety of threatening situations on the various sets, and in between she's still being chased by her cousin. Some of the actors help her and others seem intent on hurting her or the new friends she's made.

Is It Any Good?

There's an adage in storytelling that encourages writers to "show, don't tell"; this film could have benefited from that advice. Instead, A Magical Journey relies heavily on a character's recollection of events to compensate for a disjointed storyline that doesn't add up to much of anything. An oddball collection of characters moves from disconnected setting to setting, or more accurately, from soundstage to soundstage of a magical movie studio, as a young girl tries to solve a mystery by midnight.

The adventure leaves nothing for viewers to grab onto -- no fully-developed characters, no hoped-for outcome. Other aspects add to the weirdness, including some poorly-dubbed actors in the English version and dismal attempts at humor (?) often involving kids getting hurt. A final fight scene made to look like an early-era video game is vexing. French veteran Jean Reno's apparition as an omniscient hologram does nothing to lift the proceedings, nor does the presence of a few other familiar faces. Take a pass on this muddled journey.

As it turns out, that worry is not unfounded. In a report in the New England Journal of Medicine touting the dramatic findings of semaglutide, most people are drawn to chart B and the dramatic reduction in weight after completing treatment. But that is the average for all the participants. A careful look at chart D shows that 25% of the participants did not experience a weight reduction of more than 10%. (Not that 10% isn’t an improvement; it just might not be the expectation.)

It is too early in the GLP-1 roll-out to the general public to fully understand why some individuals do better than others. Still, we should expect that outcomes will depend upon adherence to the treatment plan, changes in our behavior towards food, and genetics.

As this fear of no weight loss dissipated, it was replaced by a second “concern.” Weight loss using Ozempic is not limited to the fat producing my body’s contours but includes protein loss from muscle and, among other vital systems, our immune system. To counter that mishegas, I try to eat more proteins and eat them earlier in the meal before I begin to feel full and push the plate away. Parenthetically, some advocate eating proteins first because their digestion normally enhances the feeling of satiety.  

A Study of One Association vs. Causality

In this observation study of one, I have noticed that my interest in eating and feeling fullness in my mid-abdomen seems to wax and wane. It seems to reach a peak about four to five days after the injection and reach a nadir in the 24-hour interval just before and after my weekly injection. Why might that be?

“Maximum concentration of semaglutide is reached 1 to 3 days post dose.”

In my study of one, peak efficacy is associated with feelings of fullness and varying interest in eating. Hopefully, given that short preamble on enzyme degradation, half-lives, binding to albumin, and possible “genetic” sensitivity, you can see that association is not causation . Biological causes are almost always multi-factorial. Over the next few weeks, those Ozempic half-lives will build up, and by week five or six, I should reach a semaglutide steady state, which might shed more light on the underlying variation in my hunger and satiety. 

The ups and downs on the scale and in my mind are a constant reminder that weight loss is a complex process influenced by numerous factors. Ultimately, patience and perseverance determine whether Ozempic becomes my magic bullet or a way-stop on my journey.
