Drake announces more shows on 2023 North American tour with 21 Savage
Drake is going on a North American tour for the first time in five years, and he's taking 21 Savage along for the ride.
The duo behind chart-topping single "Rich Flex," which debuted in the top slot of Billboard's Global 200 chart , will perform a 43-date arena tour this summer , adding 14 more performances to the initial 29 concerts announced. The It's All a Blur Tour includes stops across the U.S. and Canada kicking off on June 16 in New Orleans and wrapping up in Glendale, Arizona, on Sept. 5.

During his break from the road, the rapper put out a number of studio albums including "Her Loss" with 21 Savage, along with a smattering of other releases. The tour's name is a nod to Drake's work over the last five years, according to a Monday release.
The announcement delivers on a tease from Drake made during his January performance at the Apollo Theater in Harlem while thanking fans. "I'll be out and about on the road this year, so I hope to see a lot of the same faces," he said at the time.

The Canadian rapper took to Instagram to announce the tour Monday with a montage-style video on Instagram. "IT’S ALL A BLUR TOUR with @21savage," he wrote. "Dates now live on DrakeRelated.com click the link in bio for more information and details for your location."

Drake and 21 Savage have long history
It's not surprising to see Drake and 21 Savage touring together, especially after the release of their 16-track project, "Her Loss," which they performed together at New York's famed Apollo Theater in January. All 16 tracks on "Her Loss" debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 last year.
The two also shared the mic on "Mr. Right Now" from 21 Savage's 2020 "Savage Mode II" album and in turn, 21 Savage was featured on Drake's 2021 "Certified Lover Boy" with "Knife Talk." The two also closed out Drake's 2022 offering "Honestly, Nevermind" with "Jimmy Cooks."

Drake, full name Aubrey Drake Graham, is a Canadian rapper and actor from Toronto, Ontario. Born in 1986, Drake first rose to fame as an actor but was signed to Young Money Entertainment in 2009.
At the age of 20, Drake self-released his first mix-tape, “Room For Improvement”, which featured artists such as Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz on the tracks. The quality of the work on this first mix tape won Drake a steady following on the underground rap scene which he grew with the release of his second and third mix tapes, “Comeback Season” and “So Far Gone”. The release of “So Far Gone” saw fans download the mix tape over 2000 times in the first two hours of its release. Two tracks from the album, “Best I Ever Had” and “Successful” hit the number one and number two positions on the US Rap charts, respectively.
This success sparked a bidding war amongst various record labels to get Drake onto their rosters. Young Money Entertainment, owned by Drake’s mentor Lil Wayne, came out successful and signed the rapper in 2009. Drake’s studio albums, including “Thank Me Later”, “Take Care” and “Nothing Was the Same”, have reached the number one spot on the US Billboard chart and each has been certified Platinum.
Drake has had multiple multi-platinum selling singles, but his most successful singles include “Hold On We’re Going Home”, "Headlines", "Take Care", "Make Me Proud", and "The Motto" (where Drake was credited with popularising the acronym YOLO).
Already the winner of one Grammy Award for his 2013 album, “Take Care”, Drake has also won a host of other awards from bodies such as the BET Awards, the MTV VMAs and the Juno Awards. Drake has won millions of fans across the world as a result of the six tours he has completed since 2010. With his work ethic and talent, there is no doubt that Drake’s hard-earned success will continue for quite some time.
Live reviews
Drake's energy on the stage is just incomparable to anybody I've seen. The way he connects with the crowd is unbelievable. I think that his energy on stage just get the crowd more hyped up so it's an all around good show whenever Drake performs. From "So Far Gone" to "Nothing Was The Same," his style and the way he gets his message across have stayed the same. That's the best thing about aging, you get better as time progresses and I think that his albums are a definite reminder of how lyrically and musically talented he is. Many artist make one or two good albums, maybe a song or two every now and then, but Drake has consistently been at the top releasing good music and is just on fire. It's easier to get to the top than to stay there, but he's proving to everyone that he has enough to get to the top and knock anyone down who try's to take him down.
I love how he makes his music to fit any type of mood that you're feeling. His music isn't just slow R&B, he has some up-tempo music that will get you feeling pumped up and ready to go. I also love how he isn't like a Lil Wayne type of rapper who just uses auto tune and throws random gun verses in his songs. Every song is well thought out, every line is placed just right, the words flow with the beat and it's just magic. Even if you don't like Drake, when "Hold on, We're Going Home" comes on you're going to start singing. His songs are just too catchy, and are just classic, so 30 years from now people will still be blasting "Take Care" in their car. From what I've watched, he gives the people their moneys worth and leaves them waiting to see Drakes next move or when he's dropping his next album. He's just an all around great artist and performer, strongly recommend seeing him.

I have never been a huge fan of Drake, but after becoming hooked on the 2013 song ‘Hold on we’re going home’, I decided to check out his back catalogue of work, and was really surprised with what I found, and immediately regretted discounting him previously.
The combination of chilled out tracks in contrast with his rapping and songs like ‘Headlines’ provides such great listening variation, covering a variety of musical genres. Drake’s recent performance at this years Grammys was simply breath-taking, drawing in the audience to the narrative of ‘Hold on we’re going home’ without being showy or over the top, yet managing to merge smoothly into the track ‘Started from the Bottom’, providing the audience with a more upbeat track.
Drake’s interaction with his audience, especially on this occasion is something which he deserves credit for, maintaining his vocal performance whilst attempting to greet as many fans as possible. For me, this injection of his personality really provides the fans with a motivation to watch him live, as the dedication to both performance and fans is something that he appears to have mastered.
He really is one of those artists that you have to see live to experience the full potential of his music.
I bought my tickets to Lil Wayne VS. Drake about 4 months ago and finally got to attend the show on Saturday. Wow. My mind was blown. First of all G-Easy Opened for them and really got the crowd warmed up for the headliners. The whole show was like a video game with Drake and Lil Wayne going back and forth with old and new hits which I was so impressed with how they really mixed it up. Drake flew above the crowd suspended holding on to a stripper pole looking stand which Lil Wayne later dogged on him for. They battled back and forth about being the most featured artist and at the end I had chills because they were both saying how grateful they were for keeping each other's music alive. It was inspiring and poetic. I was impressed it was definitely the best show I have been to this year!
Drake puts on a great show, honestly a great performer who is very talented.
However, if you’re really going to tour with migos, and they don’t show up to do their opening set, there really should be some kind of refund. I came to the show expecting to see migos and then drake and then when migos didn’t show up I went into Drakes set disappointed about missing migos. Sure two of them came out and did 2 songs but really not enough. Instead of touring with these unreliable guys, tour by yourself, I would have no problem paying exactly what I paid for just Drake.
My son is Drake biggest fan and I would love to buy him tickets to Drake concert! I would love to see him shake Drake hand. He watch all of Drake documentary, interviews and reads all of his commentaries. This playlist is all Drake and the artist he signed. He even make me sit down and watch Drake life stories. He has all of his family, friends and girlfriend listening to Drake! He ware Drake clothing line “OVO” and has his family and friends wearing OVO too! Drake to your biggest fan ever Keldrick Mumphrey he a great young man and a wonderful son! Love mom
Tickets were very expensive. This was one of the most I have ever paid for a concert ticket, need to make it affordable for his fans. His stage presence was brilliant and loved how much he relates himself to the UK and a personal bond with Birmingham. He did lots of his lesser successful songs which was disappointing, songs like crew love which lots of his fans LOVE came on for 10 seconds then he switched into another one. Just felt it lacked real good performances of his better known and his best songs.
I really liked the show! Drake was an amazing entertainer and made me feel seen and made the show worthwhile. He really suprised me in a positive way:) I loved the sequals were he talked between the songs and the drirecting of scenery was incredible. Some of the most impressive stuff I have ever seen on a stage. He was a good singer, and I liked his tribute to Rihanna. Thanks Drake, for an awesome experience. You are way coolet than I thought
One of the best concerts I've been to in a while... Then opening act: party next door wasn't very well known But when the main acts got on stage the party was really bumpin. Great set list. I can say that I was standing and dancing the whole night and rapping along. They had an interactive portion to help decide who won the rap battle between Drake and Lil Wayne through a downloaded app on your phone. Overall awesome experience!
Amazing preformance! He's very enganging and interactive with the crowed, not to mention insanely talented! There was a really cool moving light show (globes of lights that were lowered and raised to create patterns above the audiance as well as change colors). Would have loved to hear more from some of his first albums but all in all a fantastic show. Definatly was worth spending the extra money for floor seats :)
The Drake vs Lil wayne show was definantly a must see! The whole competitive feel of them trying to one up eachother really drove the energy up! Drake is amazing live but honestly Lil Wayne stole the show for me. Also the production value is through the roof! It's less of a concert and more of an experience! They played all of their hits as well as their old stuff! Definantly get a seat to this one!

Drake Milligan announces Oct. 5 Grand Ole Opry debut among new tour dates
Hot off the heels of his debut album, Dallas/Fort Worth , country breakout and Stoney Creek Records recording artist Drake Milligan is on the gas again, adding dates to an already slammed tour schedule – including his Grand Ole Opry debut. Set for October 5 , his Opry debut marks another career milestone for the Billboard Emerging artist, as he aims to thrill from the moment his boot hits those historic floorboards.
Revealing eight new shows for his ongoing 2022 run, the Texas native was already on track to visit cities from coast to coast – with high profile stops like his first headline date at Billy Bob’s Texas thrilling a hometown crowd of nearly 6,000 fans last Friday (9/23).
Milligan will make additional stops in Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Texas, with his biggest moment yet – the Grand Ole Opry – kicking things off. More dates to be added soon.
“I couldn’t be more excited and honored about playing the Grand Ole Opry!” shares Milligan. “To have the opportunity to step in that circle that so many legends have shared will be a dream come true.”
The news arrives just as Milligan’s debut album smashed expectations on its September 15 arrival, with Dallas/Fort Worth hitting #1 on not just the iTunes Country Album Chart, but the ALL-GENRE iTunes Album Chart, as well as landing in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Country Albums Sales Chart.
Billboard has praised the record as “a steady mix of laid-back, ‘90s Strait inspired come-ons” and a “worthy debut from this newcomer,” while American Songwriter lauded the album “…hits on rockabilly riffs and classic honky tonk and older renderings that have been transported from bygone country days to the present, all punctuated by Milligan’s deep, baritone croon.” Milligan has also received early critical acclaim from People , Taste of Country , Parade , Country Now , Saving Country Music , Country Swag and Hollywood Life , to name a few.
That coincides with strong signals from country radio, who are predicting big things from Milligan’s rollicking “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” – the #2 most added single of the week when it dropped – and fans have the same idea. The action-packed “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” also landed at #1 on iTunes Country Songs Chart, as Milligan builds momentum into the fall.
Check out the full tour routing below, including his newly announced dates.

About Drake Milligan : A Texas native with an old-school country flair matched only by his in-the-moment energy, Drake Milligan is an emerging artist signed to Stoney Creek Records, who recently wrapped a Top 3 run on Season 17 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent . Counting icons like Simon Cowell as full-fledged believers, Milligan spent much of 2022 turning heads and delivering high-stakes performances with all the poise of his honkytonk heroes – and also topping the iTunes charts. Hitting #1 on both the iTunes Country Albums chart and the All-Genre iTunes Albums chart with his Dallas/Fort Worth debut, Milligan also sent his first two singles – “Kiss Goodbye All Night” and “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” to the top of both the iTunes Country Songs and All-Genre iTunes Songs charts. “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” is now spinning at Country radio, and after thrilling fans on the West Coast this summer, Milligan returns to the road this fall, with a nationwide slate of headlining tour dates including his October 5 debut on the Grand Ole Opry.

When Do Drake Tickets Go On Sale?
While there’s no concrete news about the dates or locations for the next Drake tour, there are already some rumors swirling about whether and when it may be announced. Drake has barely been out of the headlines since his last album, For All The Dogs , dropped last October, and especially so in the last six weeks since the It’s All A Blur tour ended. Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar went from “0 to 100” and has kept him busy and in the news.
Though we’ll spare you the saga on the feud in its entirety— a lot has happened between October of last year and now—we’ve been keeping up to look for clues on what might come next. On May 12, Drake took to Instagram and posted a story many are interpreting to mean that he’s stepping back from feuding with Lamar. On top of an illustration depicting one sworded soldier standing in front of an army that vastly outnumbers him, Drake added the text: “Good times. Summer vibes up next.”
We’re not qualified to determine who won this epic beef, but we’re relieved it’s over and hope that Drake can get some sleep. It’s entirely possible that “summer vibes” might be referencing a new album release and a tour to follow—and because Drake has been seen on stage with other acts like Nicki Minaj in recent weeks, he may very well be gearing back up for performances of his own.
Drake 2024 Tour Dates
Drake’s It’s All A Blur tour in North America started on July 5, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois and ended on April 5, 2024 in Newark, New Jersey. As soon as we learn of any new tour dates, we’ll update this article with everything you need to know about how to get Drake tickets for his next tour.

What will the Patriots offense look like with a new coordinator and quarterback?
Editor’s note: This is the fifth piece in our five-part series looking at the biggest questions facing the New England Patriots before training camp. Previously, we explored who will be the starting left tackle , how the Patriots’ receivers stack up , how long they should wait before making Drake Maye the starting quarterback and whether they can have a top defense without Bill Belichick .
Jerod Mayo’s search for an offensive coordinator took some time. He talked to a dozen candidates. Several turned down the gig.
He ultimately landed on Alex Van Pelt after being sold by the veteran coach’s plans for a scheme change for the Patriots and how he’d handle a rookie quarterback.
We’ve talked plenty (and will continue to) about Drake Maye’s development . But what will the offense look like functionally (regardless of the quarterback)?
Van Pelt said much of the team’s playbook and scheme will come from what he helped oversee as head coach Kevin Stefanski’s (non-play-calling) offensive coordinator the last four years with the Cleveland Browns .
Stefanski runs an offense that borrows from a few schemes but is rooted in the Mike Shanahan-style offense. Stefanski learned a lot from Gary Kubiak (whose mentor was Shanahan) during their time together in Minnesota.
After covering Stefanski’s offense in Minnesota and diving through the numbers (all stats below come from TruMedia), I found four major traits Patriots fans should know about the offense that’s being implemented.
No 👀 @DrakeMaye2 | #NEPats pic.twitter.com/5R9q5wYJTX — New England Patriots (@Patriots) May 30, 2024
1. The Patriots will run — a lot
Stefanski is one of the most analytically minded head coaches in the NFL . But the one area where his offense deviates from the analytics is how much it relies on rushing the ball. Analytics points to passes typically being more efficient plays.
But in the four years Van Pelt was the Browns’ offensive coordinator, his unit ranked 29th in the NFL in early-down passing percentage, passing it just 51 percent of the time on first and second downs.
Instead, the offense leans on a zone rushing attack where the offensive line moves as one unit and the running back finds a natural cut-back spot when linebackers overpursue. The way Stefanski and Van Pelt have taught it, the running game has been very successful. The Browns ranked second in the league in rushes over 10 yards in the four years Van Pelt was with the team.
2. Under-center play-action
Here’s where Stefanski really leans into analytics. On several occasions, he has cited studies that show — contrary to how coaches often talk — you don’t have to establish the run for play-action plays to be effective.
That’s why his offense leans on lots of play-action concepts even on early downs and early in the game. Last season, the Browns ranked fifth in early-down play-action usage, and they ranked fifth in under-center play-action over Van Pelt’s four years as offensive coordinator.
Expect Van Pelt to talk a lot about “marrying the run and pass,” which essentially means he wants the team’s play-action passes to look similar to its running plays. The offense often asks the quarterback to roll out on a bootleg after the play-action fake and establish a new pocket.
That’s where quarterback footwork is so important. When Stefanski was an offensive coordinator, he often stayed after practice to put his quarterback through drills focused on the footwork of a play — even without anyone else from the offense present. So don’t be surprised if Maye is doing that in August.
Two other notes on Maye. First, he’s adept at bootlegs, and that was one area in which scouts praised him, highlighting his athleticism and ability to throw on the run. That’s a good fit for this scheme. On the other hand, the Stefanski offense likes to keep the quarterback under center (the Browns ranked fourth in under-center usage the last four years), which is an area Maye will have to work on after primarily operating from the shotgun in college.
Jerod Mayo, Eliot Wolf and a new Patriot way in the post-Bill Belichick era
3. Heavy formations
This offense likes to make the opposing defense uncomfortable by passing out of formations that should favor a run and running out of formations that should favor a pass. Stefanski and Van Pelt are comfortable running out of a three-wide receiver set and passing out of a formation with only one wide receiver.
In general, this offense doesn’t get into spread concepts with several wide receivers very often. The most popular personnel grouping in the NFL is known as 11 personnel, with one running back, one tight end and three wide receivers on the field. But the Browns ranked 25th in the usage of that grouping with Van Pelt as the OC. On the other hand, they used 13 personnel (one running back, three tight ends and one wide receiver) more than any other team.
4. Deep passes
The offense Stefanski and Van Pelt run doesn’t just use play-action for the sake of using it. They like to take deep shots off it.
One of the core concepts is a play that’s designed to look like a run, but the quarterback runs a play fake and bootlegs outside to re-establish a pocket, then looks for one of the two receivers running deep crossing routes. Here’s an example of it from a play Stefanski called with Kirk Cousins finding Adam Thielen .
The numbers reflect the offense’s goal of finding deep shots in the passing game even if they don’t throw the ball that often (ranking 29th in the league the last four years in dropback percentage). Still, in that time, the Stefanski/Van Pelt-led offense ranked seventh in the percentage of passes thrown beyond the first-down marker, fifth in air yards per attempt and second in the number of passing attempts beyond 15 yards.
That’s in part why the Patriots liked Maye so much as a fit for this scheme. They think he’s athletic enough to roll out of the pocket on the designed boots this offense likes and has the arm strength to hit the deep passes that the scheme so often relies on.

UNC Football Legend Drake Maye Hits Paydirt With Patriots
Matt giles | may 29, 2024.
- North Carolina Tar Heels
Judging by pictures on social media, Drake Maye was all smiles on Tuesday, as the UNC football treasure signed on the dotted line to officially join the payroll of the New England Patriots.
Maye, who went No. 3 overall to the Patriots at the NFL Draft in April following his prolific career under center with the Tar Heels , has agreed to terms on a lucrative contract, the franchise revealed on Tuesday evening.
New England did not disclose terms of the deal in the announcement.
Signed on the dotted line ✍️ pic.twitter.com/li89uEXFTj — New England Patriots (@Patriots) May 28, 2024
However, the Boston Herald's Doug Kyed outlined what all Maye is in store to receive now and across the next several years:
"The deal is worth $36.639 million fully guaranteed with a $23.467 million signing bonus. He’ll earn a $795,000 salary in 2024, $960,000 salary in 2025, $1.075 million salary in 2026 and a $1.19 million salary in 2027. He’s due roster bonuses of $1,500,444, $3,050,888 and $4,601,332 on the third day of training camp in 2025, 2026 and 2027, respectively...The deal also includes a fifth-year option that the Patriots will have to decide on after the 2026 season."
It sure looks like a happy fit between the Patriots and Maye, seemingly their new franchise quarterback.
As a three-year Tar Heel, the 6-foot-4, 225-pounder amassed 8,018 yards and 63 touchdowns through the air. Maye's 4,321 passing yards across his 2022 ACC Player of the Year campaign stand as the UNC football single season record.
