Core leisure travel brands present in the Australian market include Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Flight Centre Business Travel.  These brands are supported by a global supply network covering independent travel, touring, cruise & package holiday operations. Corporate brands present in Australia include FCM, FCM Meeting & Events, Corporate Traveller and Stage & Screen, catering to all major and niche areas of the corporate travel market. Also present in Australia is our online platform Aunt Betty (flights). Non-travel brands operated by FCTG in the Australian market include Healthwise, Moneywise, 99 Bikes and Advance Traders.

Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) launched in Canada in 1995, 13 years after the first Flight Centre Travel Agency opened its doors in Sydney, Australia. Flight Centre Canada is headquartered in Vancouver and Toronto and we are Canada’s largest bricks-and-mortar travel retailer with a presence in Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, and Alberta. Flight Centre Travel Group’s presence in Canada includes Flight Centre, Independent by Flight Centre (IFC), FCM, Corporate Traveller, Les Voyages Laurier du Vallon, and StudentUniverse. After many successful years of operation in Germany with FCM Travel Solutions partner, the decision was made to establish a Flight Centre Travel Group owned equity business. Opening in December 2017 in Berlin, with a staff of 40, FCM not only has successfully migrated many of its clients across to FCTG but has been able to win and secure a great many new corporate customers with triple digital growth and shows positive signs of continuing this success.

After many successful years working in Germany with an FCM Travel Solutions partner the decision was made to establish an Flight Centre Travel Group owned equity business.

Flight Centre Travel Group’s presence in Hong Kong is through its large market corporate brand, FCM. 

FCTG entered the Hong Kong corporate travel market in 2002 through the acquisition of American International Travel Ltd, a leading Hong Kong travel management company which had operated for more than 40 years in the local market. Today, FCM Hong Kong is one of the most established travel management companies in the market.

Flight Centre Travel Group’s presence in Hong Kong is through its large market corporate brand, FCM.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered the Indian market in 2005 and currently has a strong corporate presence with its large market corporate travel brand FCM. Currently, FCM has 17 offices and supports 1000+ employees including a foreign exchange business.

Flight Centre Travel Group has three brands present in Ireland: FCM, Flight Centre Brand and Flight Centre Business Travel.  FCM Ireland was the first European acquisition in April 2014 and Flight Centre in August 2016, amounting to 46 staff across two brands in Ireland. The business has enjoyed positive sales growth and profits since acquisition and currently manages a number of flagship corporate clients.

FCTG entered the Japan market through our large market corporate brand FCM in 2021. FCM operates a single office in Tokyo through a joint venture with New Standards for Engagement (NSF-E), a subsidiary of Sony Group & NTT.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered the Mainland China market in 2004. Today, it operates its corporate brand, FCM, in the market. FCTG entered Mainland China’s corporate travel market through a 50% joint venture with China Comfort Travel, which at the time was one of the top five travel agency groups in the country. Today, FCTG has an ownership stake of 98.4% and has also set up several wholly owned operations in the local market. FCM China is now one of the most established travel management companies in the market. Currently, FCTG operates its corporate travel brand in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered the Mainland China market in 2004. Today, it operates its corporate brand, FCM, in the market.

Flight Centre Travel Group entered Malaysia in 2016 through the acquisition of Worldwide Aviation Sales Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian travel management company which had been operating since 1982.  FCTG also operates the FCM corporate brand in the local market.

Flight Centre opened its first store in New Zealand in 1987 and is now, with its network of leisure and corporate businesses, is the largest travel specialist in the country. In New Zealand, our Travel Associates, Travel Managers and Travel Smart brands also serve our customers in the retail segment, with Infinity Holidays wholesaling to the broader NZ travel industry. FCM, Corporate Traveller, Stage and Screen and Executive Travel provide differentiated, specialised offerings to the corporate market across New Zealand. Flight Centre Limited is New Zealand’s only 15-Year League recipient as a finalist in the large workplace employer category of the country’s largest and most prestigious annual workplace survey, the IBM Best Workplaces Awards.

In 2010, it acquired Air Services International, a Singapore travel agency which had been operating in the market since 1973. FCTG’s Singapore operation is one of the fastest growing travel businesses in the market.

Flight Centre Travel Group opened its first Flight Centre store in South Africa in 1995. Today, the Flight Centre brand is present in more than 130 locations across South Africa. Other FCTG brands with a smaller presence in South Africa include Flight Centre Associates, Corporate Traveller and FCM. Today, Corporate Traveller has more than 20 businesses across the country and is currently the second largest brand.

Flight Centre Travel Group has experienced significant growth since its inception in the UAE in 2007 and Saudi Arabia, operating as FCM Travel Solutions and to fulfil travel demand in corporate and MICE markets. FCM UAE has more than tripled in size while delivering unmatched travel experiences and benchmarking corporate travel management in the region. In 2023 FCTG expanded its corporate presence with the introduction of FCM into Saudi Arabia, which continues to scale and grow today.

FCM has injected an unprecedented level of expertise to the travel agency model in the region, delivering amazing travel experiences to its customers through a unique mix of unparalleled product and expert customer service. In the UK, core FCTG brands include FCM Travel Solutions, Corporate Traveller, Flight Centre, Flight Centre Business Travel, StudentUniverse and BYOJet.com. The first Flight Centre store in the UK opened in Putney, London in 1995. Today, Flight Centre is one of the fastest-growing travel companies in the UK.
