Hallmark is launching a Christmas-themed cruise (no, really)

Hallmark fans will get to meet hallmark stars and participate in holiday events.

Attention, all Hallmarkies: it is time to pack your bags for the “Jolliest Vacation Ever!”

The Hallmark Channel announced its first ever Christmas-themed cruise to set sail in November 2024. Devoted Hallmark fans will be immersed in the world of holiday magic, complete with fan-favorite Hallmark stars and cheesy holiday activities.

Through a partnership with theme cruise charter company Sixthman, Hallmark fans will embark on the holiday celebration of a lifetime.

“Loyal fans will celebrate timeless Hallmark Channel Christmas traditions and create new ones with their families, a ship full of Hallmarkies and Hallmark Channel’s holiday stars,” said Jeff Cuellar, vice president of events, marketing and community for Sixthman, per The Hollywood Reporter .

“Leave your puffy jacket and grab your Christmas spirit and passion for Hallmark Channel Christmas movies as we set sail on the most heartwarming, holly jolly experience on the high seas.”

Hallmark cruise passengers will experience a winter wonderland

The Hallmark cruise will be hosted on the Norwegian Gem, which will be decked out to look like a Hallmark-esque winter wonderland.

“We hear time and time again that people want to immerse themselves in the world of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies and this venture is sure to bring our brand to life in a new, captivating way,” Natalie Vandergast, Hallmark Media’s vice president of consumer products, said in a press release for the cruise, per People .

Passengers will have the opportunity to participate in holiday-themed activities such as ugly sweater contests, Christmas cookie decorating, Christmas Carol-oke, Hallmark movie marathons, tree lighting ceremonies, holiday crafts and wine tastings, according to Hallmark .

Every guest will also be invited to a ship-exclusive world premiere for a new Hallmark Christmas movie

The Norwegian Gem boasts several amenities, such as a swimming pool, spa, casino, sports court and fitness center.

Fans will interact with Hallmark actors

Christmas dreams are coming true. During the voyage, fans will be given the opportunity to interact with Hallmark stars.

Guest will have the chance to participate in photo ops with Hallmark actors on board, participate in activities with Hallmark stars — such as games and cherished traditions — and sit through panels where actors discuss what it is like to create the magic of a Hallmark movie.

The Norwegian Gem departs from Miami

Passengers will board the Norwegian Gem and hit the open waters from Nov. 5-9, 2024. Departing from Miami, the ship will take passengers to Nassau, Bahamas.

Hallmark fans can join the pre-sale now

Hallmarkies interested in embarking on the Hallmark-themed cruise are invited to join the presale starting now until July 19 to receive priority booking before the general public. Joining the presale does not obligate any future payment, it just offers fans the opportunity to book a ticket before the general public. Booking opens to the public on July 21 at noon MDT.

Hallmark is also offering three payment plans: payment in full, automatic monthly billing and a manual payment plan.

Tuesday, Nov. 5 : Depart from Miami, “Light the Night” sail away ceremony.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Well, sort of.

The Hallmark Channel just delighted fans of its iconic holiday movies by announcing a special Christmas cruise that will set sail next year.

The festive four-night vacation will take off from Miami, Florida, and make its way to Nassau, Bahamas, all while offering travelers the opportunity to experience everything they love about Hallmark movies at sea.

“We hear time and time again that people want to immerse themselves in the world of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies and this venture is sure to bring our brand to life in a new, captivating way,” Hallmark Media’s Vice President of Consumer Products, Natalie Vandergast, said in a statement .

The four-day vacation will take place Nov. 5-9, 2024.

Ready to set sail? Keep these dates in mind:

• Pre-sale: July 11, 2023 — July 19, 2023
• First-round pre-sale sign-up deadline: July 16, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET, with booking times kicking off on July 18, 2023
• Final pre-sale sign-up deadline: July 19, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET with booking times through the general public sale on July 21, 2023
• General public sale: July 21, 2023 at 2 p.m. ET

Hallmarkies rejoice! Due to overwhelming demand, Hallmark has added a second sailing of its holiday-themed cruise. The initial sailing, described as a “first-of-its-kind opportunity” for people to experience the magic of a Hallmark Channel holiday at sea, sold out within one day last month.

The second voyage will take place November 17th - 21st, 2024. 

The Hallmark Channel Christmas Cruise is a four-day immersive yuletide experience aboard the Norwegian Gem. This unique vacation will offer Christmas crafts, interactive activities with top Hallmark stars, an exclusive world premiere of a new Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas movie , and much more.

“We hear time and time again that people want to immerse themselves in the world of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies and this venture is sure to bring our brand to life in a new, captivating way,” Hallmark Media’s Vice President of Consumer Products, Natalie Vandergast, said in a July news release. “We are delighted to count down to Christmas 2024 aboard an adventure that will allow our stars and enthusiastic fanbase alike to create everlasting memories together at sea.” 

The Hallmark Channel Christmas Cruises sail from Miami, Florida, to Nassau, Bahamas. The festive itinerary includes:

According to People , fans who are already on the waiting list will be given priority for booking the second cruise, followed by those who joined the presale. During pre-sale sign up period, guests can register to receive a booking appointment for their chance to reserve their cabin during the pre-sale. The first-round pre-sale signup deadline is  July 16, 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern Time , with the first round of pre-sale booking times beginning  July 18, 2023 . The final pre-sale sign up deadline is  July 19, 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern Time , with remaining pre-sale booking times running through Public On Sale on  July 21, 2023 . On  July 21, 2023 at 2:00pm Eastern Time , bookings will be open to the general public. Cabin space is limited, so it is recommended for Hallmark fans to register early to book during the pre-sale.

Now you, too, will have the chance to be torn between your big-city boyfriend and your hometown crush.

Hallmark Channel announced Tuesday that it will launch a Christmas-themed cruise next year that will allow fans of the network’s holiday movies to immerse themselves in a winter wonderland — including meet-and-greets with some of the films’ stars.

The cruise will also feature the exclusive premiere of a new Countdown to Christmas movie, as well as photo opportunities and behind-the-scenes panels with actors from Hallmark Channel’s holiday slate. (The exact talent lineup is TBD.)

“We hear time and time again that people want to immerse themselves in the world of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies and this venture is sure to bring our brand to life in a new, captivating way,” said Natalie Vandergast, Hallmark Media’s vice president of consumer products. “We are delighted to count down to Christmas 2024 aboard an adventure that will allow our stars and enthusiastic fanbase alike to create everlasting memories together at sea.”

Presale sign-ups are open now through Wednesday, July 19, and bookings will be open to the general public as of Friday, July 21, at 2 pm ET; for full details, go here .

Luke Macfarlane. If he’s on, I will cruise!

Apparently he’s currently NOT a HM star currently. He doesn’t have any scheduled films with them for the next little while. But he was one of my favs.

I’m… not really a hallmark movie kind of gal, and yet this still sounds kinda fun. Sixthman does put on a good cruise….hmmmm

I have been a fan of Hallmark Channel and all the Christmas movie for as long as I can remember and love all the stars.But I am 65 years old and live with my son and only have social security for my income . However I am delighted all the joy this will bring to everyone that can afford the trip to Florida and the cruise . I am certain that it will be the experience of a lifetime .

I would like to see Victor Webster and Jon Cor. Jon has been in Hallmark films but not enough to be considered a “Hallmark star” but he’s a great actor.

I’m a registered nurse and waiting to retire. Have been a devoted fan of hallmark for years. My grandkids, even though they love Christmas, always ask why I’m watching Christmas movies in July. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love Christmas and my TV is always on Hallmark channel. My favorite star is Ryan Peavey. If he has to have a leading lady other than me I would have to pick Aimee Teagarden.

All of the all of the Hallmark dress would be great Tyler Hynes would be one for sure! .

Hallmark Channel is offering fans another chance to take part in its brand new immersive Christmas Cruise experience.

Due to overwhelming demand, the network has added a second sailing of its first-ever holiday-themed cruise. The new voyage was announced Wednesday and will take place November 17-21, 2024. The first one (November 5-9, 2024) sold out within the first day of the presale.

Fans who have secured a spot on the waiting list will be given priority for booking the second cruise, followed by those who joined the presale. Information will be sent to those fans via email, including earliest booking times, on Aug. 2.

The Christmas Cruises, created in partnership with Sixthman, will bring to life the magical world of Hallmark Channel's popular holiday movies on the high seas. Both voyages will be hosted on the Norwegian Gem, which will be transformed into a floating winter wonderland for a merry voyage from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas.

Passengers will enjoy a variety of festive activities onboard, including ugly sweater contests, cookie decorating, craft workshops, Hallmark Channel wine tastings, and Christmas “carol-oke.” Other yuletide highlights include a special “Light the Night” event featuring a tree lighting ceremony 

Even more exciting, guests will get to mingle with some of their favorite stars from the network's holiday films. A not-yet-announced roster of holiday movie regulars will be on hand for meet-and-greets, photo-ops and panels.
