Kid Cudi Details ‘Insano’ World Tour With Pusha T

Kid Cudi is embarking on a world tour in support of his ninth studio album, Insano . Named after his new LP, the trek kicks off with the North American leg on July 28 in Austin, Texas, at Moody Center. Pusha T joins him on the road for all of the dates, with Jaden and Earthgang appearing in select cities.

Presale tickets for the rapper’s Insano World tour are available in North America on March 12 at 10 a.m., while general ticket sales begin on March 15 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express cardholders will have early access to VIP packages in some markets, which begin for North American dates on March 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Cudi’s Insano arrived in January, and the next month, he had already announced he was close to finishing his next LP . “My next album is already about 80% done, and it’ll be out in 2026. As always, we’re takin it someplace new,” Cudi wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in February. “Just wanted to let yall know, expect an album from me every other year next year is all about filmin. Got a bunch of stuff I need to get done. Film and tv. So I take a year off of music to do it all.”

The artist had to cut his set short on Sunday after jumping off the stage saying in a post, “So I broke my foot today at the show. just leaving the hospital. Never a broken bone before so this is all a bit crazy. I wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes!! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big.”

Kid Cudi ‘s Coachella set was one of the most anticipated last-minute adds to the second weekend of the the 2024 festival. Sadly, the last couple songs Cudi was supposed to perform went without him.

Cudi was nearing the end of his set on Sunday evening when he injured himself in the middle of singing “Best Memories,” a song he shares with David Guetta. In fan-captured video , Cudi is seen launching himself off stage and landing beside a security guard. He was unable to stand on his own and had to be escorted off the stage.

Earlier that night, Cudi’s show attracted one of the biggest crowds of the weekend at the Sahara tent where he performed two new songs live for the first time during his foreshortened set, “Moon Man Shit” and “Blue Sky.” He also performed his hits “Up Up & Away,” “Tequila Shots,” and more.

The musician last appeared at Coachella in 2019 when he brought Kanye West as a surprise guest to perform tracks off their collaborative “Kids See Ghosts” album. Cudi is set to embark on a 43-date world tour in support of his new album “Insano,” and will kick off the tour’s North American leg on July 28 in Austin, Texas.

Kid Cudi cancels world tour after breaking heel during Coachella set

Kid Cudi ’s injury he sustained during his set at Coachella on Sunday is more serious than he initially thought.

In a post on Instagram on Wednesday he revealed he broke his calcaneus, which is the heel bone, during his fall offstage and was heading into surgery. He also said this will require a “long recovery time.”

He then dropped somber news.

“We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all,” his statement continued. “There’s just no way I can bounce back in time to give 100%.”

Over the weekend, Cudi fell after he jumped over a barrier to get into the crowd during his song “Memories.” The injury caused him to cut his set short and he had to be carried off by security.

“The injury is much more serious than I thought,” he said.

His performance at the Indio, California arts and music festival was added to the Weekend 2 schedule just days before his performance.

Fans who purchased tickets to his Insano Engage the Rage Tour will get a full refund and should receive an email soon, he explained.

Cudi, born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, assured everyone that new tour dates will be announced “as soon as possible.”

“I can’t wait to get back there with you guys and turn up how we do,” he continued.

He then apologized to his fans while also thanking them for their kind words during this tough time.

“I’m so sorry fam and I love you all so much, thanks for the endless love and support. I’m really disappointed as I’m sure you guys are too, but I will be back. That’s a promise.”

As for his condition, the “Pursuit of Happiness” singer said he’s okay, a little sore, but in “good spirits.”

Fans and celebrities offered well wishes to the rapper/singer.

“Speedy healing to you,” wrote Vanessa Hudgens.

“Prayers up mane,” said rapper Juicy J.

O n Saturday (September 2), Beyoncé played the second of three consecutive shows in Inglewood, California for her Renaissance World Tour. In attendance for the show was none of other than Kid Cudi, a beloved Cleveland-bred rapper, and entertainer. And, hours after the show had already ended, Cudi could not contain his excitement about how well it went, wishing Beyoncé an early happy birthday as well (September 4).

In a subsequent tweet after Saturday’s show, Cudi elaborated on why he was enamored with Bey’s performance, pointing specifically at her vocals and choreography.

“Vocals on point every line every single melody was perfectly pitched,” he continued. “All live, plus dancing. I’m happy I got to witness that magic in real life.”

In the replies to his original tweet, though, Cudi received some pushback about calling Bey’s performance “the greatest.” Replying to a comment that insisted nobody could top the late Michael Jackson on stage, Cudi doubled down on how impressive of a live performer Bey is.

“This is true, but she comes pretty close,” Cudi responded . “Idk if [you’ve] seen this tour but [it’s] not to be fucked with.”

Beyoncé will be performing her final show in Inglewood on Monday (September 4), before heading to Vancouver the following Monday Monday.

So excited, so exotic — Beyoncé’s a seasoned professional — and her Renaissance tour cycle is officially upon us.

Queen Bey kicked off her global tour Wednesday at the Friends Arena in Stockholm with the first of 57 sold-out shows. Tens of thousands of fans converged there to see the most-decorated Grammy Award winner in history perform during her first tour in more than six years.

Beyoncé has been keeping details about her highly anticipated Renaissance tour tightly under wraps. But a few clues have emerged before the first show.

11:27 a.m. May 15, 2023 A previous version of this story said that Beyoncé would be perfoming at SoFi Stadium on Sept. 2 and 3. She will be performing at the Inglewood venue on Sept. 1, 2 and 4.

The “Break My Soul” hitmaker brought the crowds, the dance music, enormous set pieces and the crystals, cowboy boots and sparkling bodysuits during the three-hour-long show, which featured a whopping 37-song set spanning her two-decade career.

Bey kicked off her ambitious set with her 2003 solo-album title track “Dangerously in Love,” moved through the 2011 female empowerment anthem “Run the World (Girls),” as well as every one of the 16 tracks from her latest album, “Renaissance,” including “Cuff It,” “Break My Soul,” “Church Girl” and “Alien Superstar.” She closed the show with “Pure/Honey” and “Summer Renaissance,” according to the Associated Press and Billboard .

“Renaissance is a monster blockbuster concert experience on a different plane,” the Guardian said in its review. “Dripping with sci-fi disco decadence, sex, body positivity and feminine Black pride, the near three-hour spectacular plays out in front, behind and, at times, inside a football-pitch-wide high-definition video screen designed to assault the senses at dizzying scale.”

Beyoncé has added seven more dates to her ‘Renaissance’ world tour after ‘fan demand exceeded the number of available tickets by more than 800%.’

“Fans who had complained in recent months about the lack of music videos for ‘Renaissance’ hits were in for a treat Wednesday as video projections and animations took center stage,” the AP reported. “The rapid succession of costume changes and decor shifts was baffling. The singer played on interactions between a digital and physical world where robotic devices make space for weird silver moon rovers or an inflatable horse. Even Queen Bey herself morphs into a cybernetic character. Seems confusing? It was.”

The New York Times described it as a spectacle that was “part retrofuturism and part disco fantasia.”

The first night also included Bey thanking fans for coming to see her, as well as dancing robot arms and nods to Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down,” Britney Spears’ “Toxic” , husband Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Lift Off” and a remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.” She also paid tribute to her Destiny’s Child roots and worked in music from her other hit albums, “Beyoncé,” “B’Day,” I Am… Sasha Fierce,” “Lemonade” and “Lion King: The Gift.”

A leak threatened to disrupt her meticulously plotted rollout, but no matter: ‘Renaissance’ is as musically (and sexually) provocative as any album in 2022.

The 41-year-old performer also had nine costume changes , in what Vogue dubbed “club-ready couture creations.” The perennial showgirl’s custom looks, all styled by Shiona Turini , included a UV-color-changing dress by Anrealage, a bejeweled Loewe bodysuit, an Alexander Wang bodysuit, a custom Coperni , a Balmain pearled corset inspired by her collaboration with designer Olivier Rousteing that debuted earlier this year, and a holographic dress created by London-based designer David Koma.

While fans largely ate up the performance, some were convinced that the singer was injured during the concert because she wasn’t delivering many of her signature dance moves. The Daily Mail reported that she opened the show with a series of ballads and was taking more breaks throughout, leading some to believe that she was recovering from a rumored foot injury. Four months ago, speculation surfaced about Bey having a secret foot surgery following her performance in Dubai at the opening of Atlantis the Royal — her first concert since 2018.

The New York Times also noticed her subdued moves: “[F]or one of pop’s ultimate dancing queens, Beyoncé’s performance was far less physical than on past tours. She often seemed to keep her feet stationary while shaking her upper body, and appeared to favor one leg. She spent much of one song sitting atop a prop.” Her reps did not comment on the performance.

Beyoncé is set to take the stage again Thursday in Stockholm before heading to Brussels and Cardiff, Wales, next week. The Renaissance tour dates span 40 cities in Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States and will include three shows in California. Beyoncé will play Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara (Aug. 30) and SoFi Stadium in Inglewood (Sept. 1, 2 and 4) before the tour concludes in New Orleans in late September. Her originally announced Sept. 3 show at SoFi Stadium was rescheduled for Sept. 1.
