Planet earth is located in Mysore on the way to KRS dam behind Infosys  campus  Mysore was started from the Year 2016. It has attractive carvings of fishes, corals, etc., at the entrance. It has a wide variety of fishes, pet animals, Birds, activities to kids and family and farming activities in 4 acres of land.

Main Attraction of  Planet Earth Aquarium

It is the place where you can spend 1 to 2 hrs. It is a more informative place for kids and has 150 varieties of freshwater and marine water fishes like an Alligatorfish, Tigerfish, Goldfish, Catfish, Eel, Lobsters, Sting ray, Lionfish, Starfish..etc 

The next section has Micro pencil arts and collection of sea shells. As you proceed further you can see rabbits, different varieties of rats, Iguana, parrots, pigeons, chicken, duck, variety of kittens, dogs, cattle, goat, sheep..etc..

Here you can also witnesses farming activity, where they have grown a sample of all kinds of Vegetables fruits and crops in an organic way. 

Activity Area Planet Earth also has activities like

  • Bow and Arrow,
  • Remote car 
  • small playground for kids. 

Note – For activities, you have to pay extra. 

They do not allows you to carry eateries inside there is a shop that serves ice cream, Tea, Coffee, Badam milk and other snacks.

KSRTC and Private Buses are available from Bangalore to  Mysore ( fare: ₹125/- ) from there you can reach Mysore Sub Urban Bus stop. From Suburban Bus stop by Ola auto/pre-paid auto( fare: ₹30 /- ) or by walk (5 min walk), you can reach the city bus stop. In city bus stop at Platform No.22  you have to take bus No.303K (KRS Grama)  after 24 stops get down at MNP Mills stop from there take Bus No.303AK Which takes you to Bastipura gate in 1 stop. From this point, you need to walk 15min(1.3Km) to reach the destination.

If you want to go by ola/uber from Mysore city then go for ola/Uber outstation ride which costs you  ( fare: ₹150/-  to  ₹200 /- )

Express train is available to Mysore from Bangalore ( fare: ₹70/- ), From Railway station by Ola auto/pre-paid auto( fare:  ₹45 /-) or by walk (10 min walk) you can reach the city bus stop. In the city bus stop at Platform No.22, you have to take bus No.303K (KRS Grama) after 24 stops get down at MNP Mills stop from there  take Bus No.303AK Which takes you to Bastipura gate in 1 stop.
