"Sicogi Tour", le 1er festival itinérant d’Abidjan veut encourager les jeunes à l’entrepreneuriat

Le premier festival itinérant de la ville d’Abidjan dénommé « Sicogi Tour », a été officiellement lancé le vendredi 23 juin 2023, avec pour objectif, encourager les jeunes à l’entrepreneuriat. Les 22 et 23 juillet prochain, c’est la commune de Marcory qui va accueillir la première édition. L’information a été donnée au cours d’une conférence à Abidjan.

« A travers cet évènement, nous souhaitons redorer l’image des jeunes de ces cités qui sont catalogués à tort comme aimant la facilité et comme une jeunesse oisive et sans avenir » , a justifié Evrard Koffi Monney, commissaire général du festival.

Selon lui, le concept se veut un outil de promotion et de mise en valeur des richesses et potentialités culturelles des communes d’Abidjan, telles que Marcory, Koumassi, Abobo et Yopougon.

« Il s'agit d'un rendez-vous itinérant, même si c'est la commune de Marcory qui ouvre le bal lors de ce premier rendez-vous placé sous le parrainage du ministre des Eaux et Forêts, Tchagba Laurent. D’où la dénomination de cette édition : "Sicogi Tour Marcory" », ajoute-il.

L'événement aura lieu précisément au quartier Sicogi, au terrain Konan Raphael où 5000 participants sont attendus.

"Jeunesse et emploi", c'est le thème retenu pour ce premier rendez-vous, qui ambitionne de créer une saine émulation au sein des populations, renforcer la cohésion et redorer l'image des communes hôtes.

La réhabilitation des toilettes de l’école primaire Raphaël Konan a été annoncée, ainsi que de nombreuses initiatives.

Echanges, rencontre B2B, maquis géant, partages d’expériences et un tournoi de football, sont les activités qui vont meubler cette première édition.
