Things to do in Santorini, Greece

A boat tour is a must in any guide to Greece in November. We used Santorini Yachting Club and they took us to the caldera and hot springs where we got to take a dip in the ocean while they cooked us an amazing meal, it was *chefs kiss.* Watch the sunset in Oia. I would recommend going to a restaurant for a cocktail to have the best view and avoid the crowds. (Deilino has amazing views.) Oia gets very busy especially around sunset! Hike from Fira to Oia. To get to Fira, take public transportation or a taxi. Explore the town and hike back around sunset. The hike back is about three hours, but trust me, the views are worth it. Visit the famous caldera, Nea Kameni Island, which is formed of black rock. The best way to get there is to take a boat. There are many half day tours, and don't forget to bring your swimsuit and to take a dip in the volcanic sulfur waters! Take a day trip to Perivolos Beach, Santorini's most famous beach known for its black lava sand. Rent some beach chairs and lounge by the water, enjoy one of the many restaurants, or if you’re like me and love a good beach party, there are plenty of beach clubs to choose from. No trip is complete without wine! Make sure to visit some of the amazing wineries in Santorini. My favories are Domaine Singalas and Venesantos Winery , but there are plenty of half day tours that will take you to many amazing ones as well! If you happen to make a pit stop in Athens, make sure to visit the Acropolis museum and the famous Acropolis of Athens, one of the most amazing sites to visit!

Places to eat & drink in Santorini, Greece

Ammoudi Bay Fish Tavern : Right off the water with the freshest seafood you will ever have, Ammoudi Bay Fish Tavern offers incredible views and one of the best meals you'll have during your trip. This is a must-visit spot! (It's THE perfect place on any guide to Greece in November.)

Lolitas Gelato: If you’re in the mood for a treat, head to Lolitas Gelato. This cute gelato spot is known for its interesting flavors and amazing views.

Pitogyros Traditional Grill House: Perfect for a casual quick lunch, Pitogyros Traditional Grill House serves the best gyros you can find!

Hessapiko: Visit Hessapiko, the best little cocktail bar, with an extensive wine list and live DJ. Enjoy their delicious drinks, and don't be surprised if you end up sipping on multiple Negronis without even realizing it.

Catch : Indulge in an amazing dinner experience at Catch. This beautiful restaurant offers a fantastic vibe, with exceptional food and cocktails. Make sure to try their divine filet with foie gras sauce.

Lycabettus : Situated on a cliff overlooking Santorini, Lycabettus provides phenomenal views. Make a reservation for the lounge area and enjoy cocktails while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Don't forget to bring a sweater as it can get chilly at night, although they provide blankets for your comfort. Remember to book your reservation well in advance as it's a popular spot.

Domaine Sigalas : Explore the stunning Domaine Sigalas winery. Make reservations in advance to enjoy their wine tasting and food pairing experience. The food is amazing, and the setting is gorgeous.

Lucky's Souvlakis: Perfect for a pit stop when visiting Fira and hiking back to Oia, Lucky's Souvlakis is known for their mouthwatering gyros. Although there may be a line, it's definitely worth the wait!

Woman Tries and Fails to Recreate Bianca Jagger's Iconic Studio 54 Appearance on Horseback

Unfortunately, things didn't quite go as planned.

When Bianca Jagger rode a white horse inside Studio 54, the images were iconic, and ignited a legend so prolific the actress and style icon had to refute the fact that she had entered the club astride the animal many years later.

"No doubt you will agree with me that it is one thing to, on the spur of the moment, to get on a horse in a nightclub, but it is quite another to ride in on one."

We'll take Bianca's word for it—as a Florida woman should no doubt have this weekend. When she tried to recreate the moment at a nightclub over the weekend, she didn't fare as well Jagger. Upon entering the crowded Mokai Lounge in Miami's South Beach, the animal panicked and threw its rider off.

The nightclub's business license has since been revoked after an investigation revealed both animal cruelty and a public health hazard.

"Animal cruelty is an abhorrent and vile act," Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said in a statement . "I fully support the immediate actions taken by the City Manager and his staff to ensure that this is remedied quickly."
