Tai Pan Tours Inc: Reviews

Fantastic experience: Tiffany was our guide for Cuba tour last month. The trip was a great success and we all had an enjoyable time. Tiffany 's wonderful work won a long and loud applause from everyone !

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had joined an 8 day Cuba trip to Varadero with our fantastic Tai Pan Tour leader Tiffany. She had explained to us every minute’s detail before departure and answered all our questions. We really enjoyed her and other co-traveler’s company. She went over and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, and all the excursions happened smoothly. Overall, we are really satisfied with our trip with Tiffany and Tai Pan. We will definitely travel with them again and recommend them to our family and friends. We also want to wish Tiffany all the best for the future.

Fantastic experience: Despite cramming 4 cities in 3 days, trip was well planned and you get to see different parts of Canada. Our guide Carrie is informative and helpful. Driver Zhang is meticulous and takes care of our luggages plus bringing us to our destinations on time. If you are someone who doesn't like to rush, suggest you pick a longer duration tour.

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent 3 days Canada East tour of Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec,1000 island. The tour guide Mr. Perry has done a great job in managing the time for a group of 50. Mr Wang the driver also did an excellent job. Perry knowledge about the place is great. Hotel accommodation was descent. Overall the trip was great and cost effective. Only suggestion would be to plan for lunch and dinner in a place suitable for all especially vegetarian

Fantastic experience: Carrie was our guide. She is amazing and so sweet. We had a tour for 3days and 2nights. It was so good and she is so informative, sweet and helpful. I am so looking forward to more tours specifically with her.

Fantastic experience: It was amazing experience to join "Tan Pan Tours: 8 days Cuba, Havana trip". Our tour leader, Jeff Yan was a professional, friendly, very respectful and helpful tour guide. He provided excellent services for the entire trip. I will highly recommend to my family, friends to join with Tai Pan Tours Toronto. My visit was a Five Stars experience and I can't wait to return.

Fantastic experience: We signed up for a 3-day tour and visited many popular tourists attractions in Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec city. One trip highlight is we do dog sledding in Quebec city. We really enjoyed this trip. Our tour guide Carrie is very responsible and nice.

Fantastic experience: This is my honest feedback from Indian origin Australian to Chinese/Taiwan tourist company. I booked a 3-day tour for East Canada covering Kingston, 1001 Islands, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec city. Tour guide Ben was excellent in cracking jokes, entertaining, and explaining Canadian history and background about places. He has taken us to many hidden places like apple store, maple farms, and buffet foods. It was an awesome experience, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The best part of tour is we have no drama and tour end successful. Thanks to driver Zhang for safe drive. Ben make sure others were punctual and given enough time to see all the places. I definitely recommend Tai Pan for Canada tour. They also have other tours for different countries and expect same quality services.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of taking a trip to Cuba with Tiffany, a tour guide for Taipan, and I must say that it was an absolutely amazing experience. Tiffany was an outstanding guide who went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was a success. Her knowledge of the country and its culture was exceptional, and she was able to convey this to us in a way that was both interesting and informative. She took us to some of the most beautiful and historically significant places in the country, and her passion for the country was truly infectious. What impressed me the most about Tiffany was her ability to connect with each member of our group on a personal level. She was patient and kind, and took the time to ensure that everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Her attention to detail was also impressive - from arranging transportation and accommodations, to ensuring that we had plenty of opportunities to try the local cuisine, she thought of everything. Overall, I would highly recommend Tiffany as a tour guide for anyone interested in exploring Cuba. She truly exceeded all of my expectations, and I cannot thank her enough for making our trip such a memorable one.

Fantastic experience: One of the cheapest options when you’re on a rush to book a plane ticket on a Holiday. Our tour guide Roy was very knowledgeable and suggested options where we could buy things cheaper. He made sure no one will be left behind anywhere in our trip. Plus he made sure all the declarations in customs were all filled out accordingly. Very smooth transaction. :)

Fantastic experience: CARRIE delivered an incredible experience, and the driver made our trip so easy and comfortable. The trip was well planned, it had stunning scenery, friendly staff, and delicious local cuisine made my trip unforgettable. Indeed, there are always some “special” ones in the group, but she was handling the trip and the timeline better than I can think of. I highly recommend trying a trip with Tai Pan it’s a must! My visit was a five-star experience, and I can’t wait to return.”

Fantastic experience: Carrie was a wonderful tour guide and she is very knowledgeable, funny with 18yrs of experience. The itinerary was great. We saw a lot of beautiful places. The bus was also brand new and our driver James was excellent. It was an amazing trip

Fantastic experience: We just came back from an amazing tour of Eastern Canada covering Kingston Ottawa,Montreal and Quebec city in 3 days conducted by Taipan Tours , Toronto . This was my life 's first tour through a travel agency after travelling to more than 35 countries in the world based on my own research and all arrangemnets . And it was a great experience . All arrrangemnets were inpaccable. Our tour guide " Carrie" was true darling . She was meticulous , disciplined yet vary caring and extremely friendly in nature. She made sure at all the time, to keep everyone in tour relaxed and well informed . I and my wife, despite being Indian, never felt left out in the chinese majority group and so some other families from Columbia and Japan( as I could guess). Since we were strict vegetarian , She tried her best to ensure that we get some vegetable stuff . We loved delicious lunch and exciting environment at Maple farm on way to Quebec. However , I would make own arrangements for at least one meal of each day whenever I am travelling next with them. Our experience at French Restaurant /French Dinner in Quebec city was disastrous .We felt ripped after paying exorbitant amount for the dinner and just being served raw vegetable in a plate With half cooked white rice. Except this one off bad experience , entire tour was a steal and experience of the life time.

Fantastic experience: Its my family's first time trying out this type of tour and its really one of the best. I highly recommend this tour not only you'll get the chance to visit those amazing places but also learn about their history through their awesome tour guide. We had ours and her name is Carrie, she was very informative and has a lot of humour. You will for sure enjoy the tour from day 1 till last day. Will book again for another trip in the next few months here at Taipan Tours. Highly Highly Recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Our tour was wonderful! The experience was great , our tour guide really helped us enjoy our experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in touring around Kingston, Ottawa, and Quebec. I would say this is a quick and budget friendly trip exploring Canada’s beauty. The weather was great so I recommend anyone to visit during summer as there are a lot of walking on our Day 2. Thank you again Tours4fun, Carrie Xue our tour guide and our driver for accommodating us!

Fantastic experience: I went to 7 days eastern tour with this company They were great days because Everything was regular Times, bus (especially vip chairs) ,places for visit from every provinces , Hotels were excellent and leader man tour has care everything Thanks for everything

Fantastic experience: Tai Pan Tours was a great experience. I am grateful to 2 wonderful gentlemen named Ben and Jack. Our beloved tour guide Ben Chen made our tour very adventurous and exciting, I learnt so much from our tour to Montreal, Ottowa and lastly Quebec. Our driver Jack gave us a safe trip to all the places we needed to be and was the first and last person to be there on time for the trip. I am glad I went to this trip with my family and will happily go back again. Thank you Tai Pan Tours. Je me souviens, Jy.

Fantastic experience: I’m currently on a vacation trip during August 2023 in Toronto/Quebec. Our tour guide and bus driver, respectively Joyce and Jim, are both incredibly hardworking, communicative and detail-orientated. Joyce is very approachable and friendly, and her dedication to accommodate her guests who hail from unique backgrounds is commendable. During the entire journey, she switched between speaking Mandarin, English and Cantonese to narrate and describe the attractions/history of our environment. (Wow! That takes real brain power!) She was meticulous in describing our itinerary and excursions, leaving little room for confusion amongst the guests. She helped foster a comfortable atmosphere the entire trip by having friendly conversation with us and humorous commentary; we visited beautiful places like Le Hôtel Frontenac, restaurants offering delicious food like Saveurs des Continents, and many more I will show in pictures. This is my last vacation in a long time because of school starting soon, and it’s thanks to these people who help make it all the more memorable. Thank you Joyce and Jim!

Fantastic experience: Our tour guide, Ben, was absolutely fantastic during the 8-day romantic Europe tour. His extensive knowledge of the city enriched our journey with intriguing facts and insights. What truly sets Ben apart is his genuine care for the group's well-being, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the tour. For instance, he consistently reminded us to keep our bags in front of us, especially in bustling areas, to guard against pickpockets. Ben's dedication to our safety was further exemplified during a peculiar incident on our way to the Arc de Triomphe. There was an unexpected obstacle on the path - a large piece of feces. Without hesitation, Ben stepped forward, using his flag to guide us safely around it. Moreover, Ben went above and beyond to create memorable moments for our group. He initiated family photos at every destination, offering creative posing ideas that made our travel experience even more special. Lastly, Ben's assistance with handling our luggage during loading and unloading at hotels demonstrated his dedication to ensuring a smooth and stress-free journey. It is without reservation that I rate Ben as excellent in both tour knowledge and helpfulness.

Fantastic experience: This afternoon on our way back to Toronto, where our7 days tour ends we will have a lot of memorable times on our journey to Eastern Canada ,where we visited must see places accompanied with a well-known and professional tour guide, Mr Ben ,and our bus driver. R Zhang. Many Many Thnks

Positive experience: This was my first time to join a Taipan Tour. I had been to Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec but I had friends and family over for a visit and they wanted to see these places. It was a very organized tour. I learned a few more new facts about these places. We became friends with the other people on the tour. Most notable about the tour was the sugar shack and the French dinner. Joyce, our tour guide was very helpful and on top of things. The driver, Elson, knew where he was going and avoided busy roads. I was surprised at the hotels we stayed, very modern and new. Thank you for a very well organized tour.

Fantastic experience: Carrie and Paul were great and professional. The arrangement of the entire trip was a top notch. Carrie was very informative on the history of all the attractions. Food and hotel were excellent. I highly recommend my family and friends to join this bus tour. Thank you to Carrie and Paul for a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: Our tour leader is TIFFANY (NGH TOURS/ TOURS4FUN ) very knowledgeable and very respectful guide. She knows her stuff well and makes it possible for her tourist to enjoy and experience the best that the place has to offer. Very respectful of needs of her group and goes extra mile to support and help. It was a special time for my family as we have reunited from different countries and spent time together in this tour. It was beautiful and lovely ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Carrie, our tour guide for 3 days east Canada tour was very professsional and Punctual. We enjoyed our tour with her experties !

Fantastic experience: Had Carrie as my tour guide for a 3 day trip to Ottawa/Old Quebec city/Montreal. She's very sweet and clearly experienced in tour-guiding. The trip itself was fun, especially the helicopter ride option we had. We visited a church and walked through the Olympic biodome in Montreal (had so many different animals it was so cool) Walking through old Quebec city was lovely, as the city has a bunch of vendors and cute locations! Would recommend this tour :)

Fantastic experience: It was an amazing experience. The bus was fully functional, the ride was smooth, and seats were comfortable for the very long ride. Carrie, our tour guide, was the best! She brought us to the best places and she is also very knowledgeable about the areas. The tour was definitely worth it

Fantastic experience: The most enjoyable trip I enjoyed was the ship to the Thousand Island's. We went on this trip starting from Monday 17th of July to Wednesday 19th of July. Our Tour Guide Carrie, explained to us the many different cultures about Canada. She is well experienced and has many different languages to tell the different tourists about the trips. We also thank our bus driver John for taking us to all these amazing sights. I definitely recommend going on this trip. Very fun and enjoyable!!

Fantastic experience: Tiffany it was an amazing trip of three wonderful busy days with you. Your explanation about each places was excellent. We went with you and Jack on a three days trip to Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec city and thousand islands. We took four excursions and all the foods you offered. Everything was unbelievable so good so nicely organized. Even the bus seats were rotated so it was comfortable for all. We were 53 people on the bus. We all enjoyed thoroughly and had an amazing trip. According to the price you are very reasonable and great. You both are so well behaved and have so much patience to deal with such a big group. I really appreciate it. Jack is an excellent driver. He is also very friendly and welcoming. The whole journey with you was so homely. Thank you so much Tiffany and Jack. You guys are very organized and amazing, caring and loving. Enjoyed Tiffany calling us her babies and treated us like that. Wish you all the best from your group no 19and 20.

Fantastic experience: Just came back from the 7 days tour to the Atlantic provinces and Quebec (including Ottawa and thousand Islands). It was such a wonderful journey that everyone in the group enjoyed the trip very much. It is hard to say good bye after we came back Toronto. The tour guide, Ben, is full of passion with his job, professional and humorous. The trip is full of laughter. Our driver, Mr Zhang, is also very professional, keeping the bus neat and clean, and is driving safely. I had a great time and would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who would like to visit eastern Canada.

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience tour to Quebec for March break 2023. Carrie was a great tour guide , and well organized for everything in this tour. Great memory visit catholic church Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal, Ice hotel Village Vacances Valcartier, dog sledding

Fantastic experience: It’s my first time using Tai Pan. Me, my daughter and cousin went on the 4d Boston, NY, Washington and PA tour. I was quite impressed by how organized the tour was. Daniel was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of all the places we visited. He was funny and kept us entertained. The itinerary provided the best value for our $ for all the tours, places we visited and the coach transportation. I was sad the trip had to end. I need to also mention that Chris was an excellent driver. He kept us safe and efficiently drove to our destinations. We have booked for the Romantic European tour. Looking forward to another Tai Pan tour, and crossing my fingers we can cross paths with the Daniel/Chris duo in the future!

Fantastic experience: My family and I had a great family day vacation. We would like to thank Boss Ben and Minic our driver for their expertise in the tours. We had so much fun and highly recommended especially Boss Ben as the best tour guide we had. We will surely comeback this coming summer vacation. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: We just returned from Varadero Cuba vacation with 8 days 7 nights Tai Pan tours, very pleasant expirence and affordable with this touring group. Arrangment in Cuba was in a 5 star hotel all inclusive stay was very comfortable. In Cuba they arranged site seeing and excertion few of which were optional. We had excellent, funny and entertaining guide Jeff Yan who accompanied us on all excursions. This was our sixth tour with Tai Pan and we were never disappointed, I would love to travel with them in future. 谢谢

Fantastic experience: We join the winter tour which heading to the northern CA, it’s really fun and full of awesome surprises! I really love the Quebec City and the dog pulling sled. It’s very impressive. Carrie is very responsible and considerate. 5 stars recommend!

Fantastic experience: We had a 3-day Agawa Canyon tour on October 3. Everything (food, hotels, driver, tour guide and etc.) was beyond our expectations. The room as well as the washroom of both hotels we stayed were clean and spacious. Breakfast provided was above average and food was refilled fast. Wifi, which some people consider to be a key feature, was available and fast. We were lucky to have Daniel To, a "handsome", energetic and funny guy, to be our tour guide. He was well-organized, punctual and helpful. He knew every visited place and city inside and out and always delivered us some interesting information and stories in an interactive and entertaining way before arrival. He is the best of the best. Overall, we had a very memorable tour.

Fantastic experience: We had a truly mesmerizing Agawa Canyon Train Journey. Our tour guide Daniel was outstanding - very jovial, friendly, informative and efficient which made the trip all the more enjoyable for us.

Fantastic experience: I have joined a 3-day tour covering Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec. Nemo the tour guide is very patient and efficient. Our big tour group is comprised of visitors from many countries and Nemo is able to speak everything in multiple languages (English/Mandarin/Cantonese) fluently. Nemo also presents history in a user friendly manner. Excellent tour guide! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Carrie is the best! She is so organised. Taking care of everyone. Our group has 13ppl. Age from 3-65…. Too hard for her, but she done a such great job! Excellent tour. We are very enjoy!

Fantastic experience: Tiffany Ho is a super good and responsible guide, we keep our fingers crossed all the way and just enjoy the tour! The driver Alson is great too, overall, the tour is so worth it, I will for sure recommend to my friends to Tai Pan! Many thanks to Tiffany and Alson, both done a great job!

Fantastic experience: I booked a 3-day tour package for East Canada (Kingston-Ottawa-Montréal-Quebec City) from Tai Pan Tours just last week. You read that right, 4 cities in just 3 days! People who like a more relaxed tour might find the schedule overwhelming, but I personally would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is visiting Canada for the first time, because we got to see and visit so many places within such tight schedule! If you have any questions, call them right away and they’re usually very fast response. The staff are also very patient with questions, so ask away! Kudos to Ben the tour guide! He’s not only very entertaining, but also very informative in his tour guiding! Throughout the tour I got to learn bits of Canadian history. He’s also very punctual. The drive throughout the tour was also very comfortable thanks to the experienced driver Eleson. All the staff have been very helpful throughout the tour, and everyone was definitely enjoying their time! Will attach some photos of places that we visited. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable trip!

Fantastic experience: I had a very enjoyable time on the 7-day tour around Eastern Canada, PEI, and the Maritimes. The tour guide, Daniel To, made this trip especially fun and entertaining with his knowledge and humour. I also felt happy and safe under the steady driving of the bus driver, Minic. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful all-inclusive visit to Cuba with an amazing and extremely knowledgeable tour guide - Daniel To. He was extremely responsible to everyone’s requests and questions and was always happy to hang out even during days without any planned excursions. We stayed in Varadero which had beautiful beaches (not too many seaweeds) although there were a few days of stronger winds - ensure you know what each coloured flag means in terms of swimming conditions.

Fantastic experience: This trip was the best one ever, well coordinated and planned ,we visited lots of places .It was one of the best tours I had ever taken.Tour guide Ben and Driver Eleson were awesome, they were very professional and punctual.Explained all the trip details and coordinated with the passengers very nicely.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic 3-day tour at East Canada. Our guide Ben is a professional photographer too who helped us took a lot of nice photos in the best angle as per his experience. He is so thoughtful and caring of his guests’ needs. Happy sharing all those lovely pics for a light touch of the places we visited. I highly recommend you to join him and experience this joyful journey with you loved ones~!

Fantastic experience: Carrie best guide i have seen in a tour. She has pretty good understanding of all the places and the trip was a well planned one. Our driver Zhou was an expert driver and he drive through zero visibility situations and reached safe. Never thought that qubec in winter will be this beautiful

Fantastic experience: My friend and I did the 3-day East Canada Tour. The trip was truly well organised, with the best sight seeing spots, with very experienced tour guide & driver to give you a pleasant and safe trip. Our Tour guide Ben is so thoughtful and caring of his guests’ needs and he made sure that we have the best 3 days ever. But funny part is that if this is such a pain then how come this trip gets booked so fast. In the morning when I had called the tickets for 16th were available and by evening when I went to book the 16th was full. Let me see and tell... BTW did your folks do any optional trips? were they worthwhile and any specific trips/traps to avoid?

Hotels were both top notch and waking up at 6 AM and sometimes 5 AM are the norm. I think 4 days is just enough and after that I couldn't do it anymore. It is a vacation but seems like it is just too hectic to go beyond 4 days. I did feel that I got enough time especially at the hotels at night. But staying in New Jersey (New York part) and then staying in Baltimore (?) I stayed in the hotel. It wasn't a tourist part of town so I didn't know if it was a shady area. But staying in Atlantic city in Trump's Taj Mahal hotel and casino was a blast. We had enough for dinner, walk around the boardwalk and enjoyed the casino that night. But be aware that after 10 PM or so, I would head back indoors since a lot of shady characters start to walk around the boardwalk. For lunch and dinner, we got an hour to eat. Bus stop rests are more like 20 minutes to half an hour. Site seeing and attractions can be rushed but is just enough to see and do. The only thing I didn't like with Safeway tours on this trip was at the final dinner (you had to pay), we sat with everyone at the same table which was really awkward. All said and done, it is fun but tiring especially after the 3rd night. All I wanted to do was sleep and rest. I would recommend this trip since it was interesting to see New York, Washington DC and Atlantic City. I also did the Canada East 3 Days Tour maybe about 15 years ago and we stayed at some 3 star hotels like Comfort Inn. That trip wasn't worth it and gets pretty boring. So I guess Tai Pan/Safeway Tours have pretty much upgraded to the more luxurious hotels. I'm also going to be going on the Old Montreal City,Quebec Mont-Tremblant, 4Days Luxury Tour next week. A little expensive for 2 people ($750 tax in) but looking at the itinerary it is well worth it over the Canada East 3 Days Tour. Staying at Fairmount Le Manoir Richelieu & Mont-Tremblant is going to be a blast. Doesn't seem like we're doing much in 4 days but after the trip, I'll post my experiences.

:)

Big bus - good for 50 people. Seats were reclineable. It was clean and the driver was good.

Spoke in English first then Mandarin then Cantonese maybe because these were the proportion of people in the tour. His english is passable, some mistakes in grammar but overall we knew what he meant. He really knows a lot about the places like history, background, etc. I don't care if he just made up the specific dates. Although he was annoying in asking for donation for the church, he was generally OK; showed some sense of humor and signs that he gives a **** on the tourists. Much better than what I was expecting after reading some reviews online.

Quebec - Hotel Universal (cheapest), Hotel Plaza Quebec (mid), Loewes Le Concorde (highest). Stayed at the Le Concorde, much much better hotel than the Holiday Inn and location was fantastic. Those who stayed at the other 2 hotels couldn't walk to the Old Quebec anymore.

Everyone had the option of joining the buffets. 1 Dinner ($18) and 2 Lunch buffets ($13) including tax per person. The guide collected the money without telling the name or type of restaurant. He eventually allowed our group to check the buffet first before paying.

Good thing the places these buffets were located had other restaurants around them.

Optional Tours

Civilization Museum - $12

Biodome and Montreal Tower - $27

Thousand Island Cruise - $20

8AM: Left Pacific Mall in Scarborough

1030AM: Reached Kingston. Drove by Prime Minister McDonald's House, the jail museums and then gave us 30 minutes to take pictures around the harbour.

12NN: Reached Brockville, 1 hour for lunch at our own among fastfood chains.

230PM: Reached Ottawa , gave us 30 minutes to take pictures in Parliament Hill. Obviously not enough time.

330PM: Spent roughly an hour in the Museum of Civilization. Why they chose this museum, I don't know.

7PM: Dinner at Fu Lam fake Chinese buffet for those who went with the tour. A couple of restos in the area including a McDonalds.

8PM: Check-in at Holiday Inn Midtown Hotel. Very tired and old hotel with soft beds. Walked to Rue St. Catherine on our own.

730AM: Arrived at St. Joseph Oratory. Guide asked for $5 donation each. Not everyone gave of course. Spent an hour here; too much considering only 30mins was given for the much nicer Notre Dame Basilica.

9AM: Arrived at Notre Dame Basilica. Barely appreciated the place because of the time constraint.

10AM: Arrived at the Biodome for the optional tour. Didn't bother joining.

Lunch at Fu Lam fake chinese Buffet again before reaching old Quebec.

4PM: Arrived at Old Quebec. Free time for the rest of the day.

1130AM: Brunch at Win Wah, another fake Chinese buffet. Ate at Eggs and Crepes which wasn't great either.

12PM: Reached Thousand Islands; cruise for 1 hour.

530PM: Stopover at the Big Apple before heading back to Toronto .

--------------------------------------------------------------

Pros: Cheap and you get to see 3 cities in 3 days.

Cons: Very tiring (wake up at 6am for 3 days but you get back to the hotel early also). Barely enough time to take in the grandeur of the places. Limited food choices.

I don't know why they included the Civilization Museum, the Biodome and the Montreal Tower while skipping Old Montreal and some more popular sites. I'm guessing the tour agency gets a cut from these places. The tour would have been better if we were given alternatives (or free time) to these places.

Hi greenarcher04;

Thanks for the trip report.

Best Regards

<Fu Lam fake chinese Buffet>

Thanks for the report back and closing the circle on your earlier querries. It should be invaluable to others contemplating the same tour.

tai pan tours eastern canada

It is a Chinese tour. That's what their clients want and are willing to pay for. Maximum number of destinations in the minimum amount of time so that you can take the "been there" pictures to show for it.

In the back of my mind, I seem to think we had offered up some cautions about how much was being crammed in. Doesn't sound like my kinda tour, but they have their uses when you're in a tight time frame.

Nonetheless, it was good of you to post such a detailed review. Gives us locals a chance to understand what these kinds of tours offer so that when other visitors ask us, we can point them to this review.

Yeah. These tours are popular yet there's hardly anything on them here in TA. I got my info on redflagdeals and Chinese blogs.

Hi Greenarcher04,

First off… thank you very very much for this detailed TripReport… it will go a LONG way to helping out other Travellers.

To tell the truth I don’t know whether to laugh, cry or scream…

The idea that this company is selling this as a “Tour of Canada” is LAUGHABLE… you saw very little of what makes this country great. As a Canadian who has great passion for my country… that makes me sad… truly so sad that I want to CRY… that you’ve come all this way and spent most of your time on a bus being herded from location to location while essentially seeing little more than the Expressways that link our major cities together. And I want to SCREAM, because this Company is continually finding customers to rip off in this way !!

In the end, I am very angry with this company…

This tour is unbelievably disjointed… beyond the fact that the days were long, you literally went to very little that I as a Canadian here on the CANADA FORUMS would pick as our MUST DOs or MUST SEEs (you probably realize that now from reading thru the various FORUMS).

I have said it before, a good amount of these Motorcoach Touring Companies that are operating in our country are actually being run by Non-Canadians (US Touring Companies, European Touring Companies, Asian Touring Companies)… and as such they are truly out-of-touch with what makes our country great… focussing on the wrong stuff… and not giving enough time to our fantastic scenery, and memorable destinations. Hopefully, in the not to distant future, this will change… and we’ll see more Canadian owned Touring Companies in this industry. BUT in the meantime, my advice stands that the best way to see Canada is on one’s own, and preferably with a rental car .

Knowing ALL of these Destinations well (live in Ottawa , born in Montreal , have family in Quebec City , and wanting to retire in the Kingston-1000 Island area)… I can say that this is a “horrible” itinerary on what makes these places truly stunning to Travellers and Canadians alike.

Kingston & Montreal aside for a moment… the rich Canadian tapestry that exists in Ottawa & Quebec City alone truly needs to be savoured… and explained. Something that I doubt your Tour Guide did (no matter how “convincing” he sounded)… and rushing thru both of these locations… lol, a couple of hours for Ottawa, and an evening in Old Quebec is well… just plain painful for me to read here !!

So it is no wonder that Ottawa’s Canadian Museum of Civilization came off making no sense what-so-ever !! The Museum of Civilization is ranked as one of the BEST Museums in Canada showcasing ALL of this great country… 10 Provinces & 3 Territories… and how incredibly different we are from sea-to-sea-to-sea (a land mass equivalent to the size of ALL of Europe) and yet what binds us all together into something that makes us uniquely ALL Canadian. But with aprox 1 Hour to take it all in… it is no wonder that it came off as being so incomprehensible. One word… CRAZY, comes to mind, for whoever dreamed up this part of the Schedule.

It certainly would have been better in a more “comprehensive” Itinerary… say if you had actually had the opportunity to take the Tour of Centre Block at Parliament Hill or visited Government House (Rideau Hall) beforehand… As I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable of Canada both of these locations Tour Guides are… and the great job that they do introducing not only these Historic Buildings but also our colourful history, culture and modern country to Visitors from around the world.

3 Days in total for this Motorcoach Tour (which BTW covered aprox 1700 Kms and 20 Hours of Driving Time… best case scenario) not to mention 4 Cities, and countless important geographic areas… ALL that it sped on thru… is absolutely RIDICULOUS !!

Kingston & the 1000 Islands deserve an OVERNIGHT… Ottawa & Montreal EACH NEED 2 FULL DAYS, and Quebec City another 3 DAYS.

As you have guessed many of these Destinations are most likely offering kick-backs to the Tour Company (KNOW THIS FOR A FACT about the Big Apple along the 401). In a kick-back situation, the spending of all the patrons on the Tour Bus is tracked… in the case of the Big Apple that means what you eat at the Café, buy from the Bakery, or in the Gift Shop… then the Tour Company gets a credit (cash or cheque?) issued back to them from the company.

Which is a LOT DIFFERENT from a normal Restaurant’s operations when a Tour Bus comes in… in that scenario the Bus Driver and the Tour Guide eat “on the house”… as a sort of thank you for bringing in the 50 say Passengers.

(In regards to the above 2 paragraphs… I have FIRST HAND knowledge of this because I have infact been involved with some Motorcoach Tours for another group that I volunteer with).

Interesting from your description, that those places having the most solid of reputations were the places where a Passenger was required to pay EXTRA to visit… the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa – the Biodome in Montreal – and the 1000 Island Cruise . (BTW… the $ 5 was for the entrance to Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal… not St Joseph’s Oratory… guessing the Tour Operator tried to collect it at St Joseph’s in hopes that by the time you all got to Notre Dame, that everyone would have “broken down” and given him the “Donation”… (also gotta wonder about this, in that it is a KNOWN EXPENSE and as such probably should have been handled the same way as the other TOUR EXTRAS… can’t help but think therefore that the “Donation” request is some sort of a scam).

Sad to see there were no “optional” tours in Quebec City… but then again, with the limited visiting time you were given (and most of it night when things are closed… cannot be all that surprised).

As for St Joseph’s Oratory… and WHY they were on this tour… I haven’t a clue… BUT do know that this is not a place that we typically recommend on the MONTREAL TRAVEL FORUM… unless one has a particular interest in either Father / Brother Andre (Montreal’s Patron Saint) or is a devout Catholic wanting to tour this Shrine.

Far more important to the History of Montreal… is Notre Dame Basilica in Old Montreal … a church that tells a story about the city itself (religion – history – craftmenship etc) … and of course again, it should be seen as part of a much broader Itinerary, that includes the rest of Old Montreal where it resides (gosh… cannot imagine that you weren’t given time in this area… considering you were RIGHT THERE !!)

The Restaurants as you’ve mentioned are not outstanding… just “fake Chinese” (lol… good terminology). And not well regarded here on TA (currently at 2-1/2 and 3 HOOTS Respectively).

Same thing with the Hotels… the Holiday Inn Midtown in Montreal (420 Sherbrooke Street) is desperately in need of a facelift… and ranked on TA currently at # 96 out of 170 Hotels for Montreal and with 3 HOOTS for TA Member Satisfaction.

Lol, What I can’t understand is why they are not using the Holiday Inn Express Centre-Ville (155 Rene Levesque Blvd) which is extremely well located in regards to both Montreal’s China Town and Old Montreal… as it literally sits on the border of both neighbourhoods. (Currently ranked on TA at # 67 out of 170 Hotels for Montreal… and has 3-1/2 HOOTS for TA Member Satisfaction).

Lol… oh ya, silly me I forgot… it probably is more expensive, or doesn’t give a “kick-back” to the Tour Operator.

Oh well… c’est la vie.

GREENARCHER04… I as I said at the beginning, your TripReport here will go a LONG way to helping out other Travellers with the “reality” that these Motorcoach Tours offer... and for that I am grateful.

But I am sad, that unlike yourself, there are so many others who haven’t discovered TA who obviously are being duped by these companies… and getting such a poor picture of Canada and these Destination Cities… this truly is a crime.

Hopefully now when someone GOOGLES this Motorcoach Touring Company, this TA FORUM Topic will come up, so they can read and know more about what really they’ll be getting for their money.

As the saying goes… “Sometimes a bargain… isn’t a bargain at all... ya just end up getting what you pay for... a CHEAPENED experience"

Few of these bus customers are duped, at least not for the Chinese tours. The majority of their customers are Canadian/American residents and they know exactly what they are getting, and what they are going to see. They don't have the time for the "full" Canadian experience. And you won't be able to stay in the same hotels with the same transportation for what they charge if you try to arrange that on your own.

North Americans visiting Asia on similar coach tours, it's the same thing.

Yep, there are tours everywhere that do a great disservice to the areas they cover. There are some higher-quality bus tours -- where you pay more for better accommodations, a better-qualified guide, a smaller group, and a more relaxed pace -- but even then there's something about travelling in a mob of people following a guy holding up an umbrella that makes it hard to get a true sense of the place you're visiting. Large group tours can't go to the off-the-beaten-path places (by definition), can't linger to accommodate one person's particular interests, and they change the atmosphere of the places they do go (as many independent travellers have witnessed).

It seems like GreenArcher mostly knew what he was getting himself into, so I'll just add my thanks to him for writing up the details for us.

Yes almost all the people in the tour was OK with how the tour was laid out. They know what they were getting into and they were OK with that. Seeing their reaction after the tour, it seems none of them were closed to being pissed off. LOL.

My companions stayed for 2 weeks while I still have another week. We did St. Jacob's, Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake , Blue Mountain, some parts of downtown and a LOT of shopping (Wal-Marts, Sherway, Vaughan Mills , Erin Mills, Square One, Eaton Center plus the outlets at Niagara and St. Jacobs).

The weather was also not cooperative so we weren't able to enjoy downtown as much (skipped CN Tower , Harbourfront, Distillery, etc.) Good thing I still have a week to see them. We're still fairly satisfied since the weather was great when we went to Blue Mountain and the 3 day tour. It could have been much worse.

We recently completed an 8-day tour of Italy, covering a remarkable array of places. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Richard Yang, our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and took excellent care of everyone throughout the tour. The driver was also very skillful and helpful. While the pace of the trip was a bit rushed, considering the multitude of places covered, we understood the necessity. Despite this, we appreciated the opportunity to visit so many attractions. In terms of cost, I would say it was reasonable given the comprehensive nature of the tour. We definitely plan to join another trip in the future.

We enjoyed the tour to Italy and the good service of Mr. Richard Yang during our trip

I booked a 4 days tour trip to NY - Philadelphia way back on May 20, 2023 for Sat July 29th - August 1, 2023. I told them that I may move my dates around if there is no penalty. They told me that they will confirm the trip about 3 days ahead of the actual travel date so it is no problem as long as it is more than 2 full weeks. Fast forward to now, my employer wanted me to come back and work on Monday July 31 so I tried to call the Scarborough Taipan Tours office (same place i booked my travel tickets of 4 persons). I like to move my travel date to Wed 07.26 and go home on Sat 07.29 which I have about 19 days BEFORE my travel date. Guess What .. They told me we have to pay a penalty of $400 per person so they can move my dates back... The actual cost for one person ticket is $428... They are completely a rip-off company. There is nothing else out there to do what they are doing with a civilzed staffing. This is crazy. I will file a BBB complaint log against them. This is just a WARNING to everyone who wants to travel with this stupid / greedy company.

We took the 3 day East Canada tour with Taipan to Montreal, Quebec and 1000 island in the August 2023. Tour guide - Jack 3/5 Bus and Driver - 5/5 Food - 1/5 Locations covered - 3/5 Jack was a very kind, and energetic guide and he had excellent knowledge about the places we went to. Although, my complaint is that the tour felt like a movie being played on fast forward. I am aware of the fact that we had a lot of places to cover in a short time, but this was more of a training camp for us rather than a vacation. Every stop was rushed, whether it was a sightseeing location or a washroom break. For many of us, this will be the only time we would ever visit this country and all these places, hence it seemed unfair for the amount we have paid. Even about the food, most of the places that were arranged by the tour didn't have a lot of options for people with a certain diet restriction(vegetaria). It would have been better to choose those places where options are available other than what was offered by the tour and the tour themselves should have offered options at every location. The guide didn't even ask or try and help for offering options of those who didn't take the tour meals. We appreciate the places we covered, but it could have been less stressful and we would have liked it more if it would have been made more like a holiday rather than rushing us all the time these 3days.

Terrible tour company ever! https://www.taipantours.com/ My family took their 3 Days Canada East Tour on Sept 29, 2023. The tour guide cancel Biodome de Montreal without giving a before notice, but on the spot, when trip begin (their reason, biodome too busy, we not going there); everyone's have no say to its. All passengers that wanted to attend biodome before the trip start are now force to choice a tour option (museums) that don't wanna attend to filled up a 4 limits company policy. Forced to pay for something you know you not going to enjoy to begin with, isn't that just BS? Also the tour food suck and expensive, you'll better off stacking up fast food for the tour.

We joined Tai Pan Tours Group on Sept15 to 22 to Italy. It was a wonderful experience !! Stevephan Tan was our tour guide during this trip. His work manner, details knowledge, Sense of humour, careless were the keys to make our trip so successful. He put his best efforts on this trip, so we felt comfortable , confident, safety, worry -free for all the time. The Bus driver is Wilson, he was a amazing guy, he cooperated with Stephan Tan well, always think for us, tried to drip us at visit location as closest as possible, so we did not walk to much. He also keep to clean the bus as soon as he had time. It was amazing trip !! We are looking forward joining another trip with stevephan Tan again. Thank you and happy Chinese moon festival Christina / Peter

If your trip guide is Mr Perry Chung, please cancel your trip and stay home in peace. Mr Chris , the driver threatened saying " He will kick us out off the bus because he works with federal government and he can do anything" With a profound regrets I write this entire content from our personal opinion for the Two nights and three days trip from Toronto to Kingston, Montreal, Quebec and Thousand Islands. As we all know that, people go on a trip for enjoyment, happiness and make our mindset relaxed with kith and kin. But deeply regret to state that, we have experienced the bitter and worst part from Mr. Perry guide & Mr Chris, the driver, turning our entire Holiday program into a darkness filled with unfavorable, adamant eccentric behaviors from them in a our day to Day aspects of our entire journey period. How could this be?! in a tourism Industry where people from different parts world have faced this in Canada. The time Management part specially for Lunch breaks and wakeup time was a big mishap & Havoc, below are the few observations faced by us a) The day one of pick-up Bus lounge had come by almost 40 minutes delay. Bus was horrible on day one and the next day at Montreal we had different bus with a gift if water leakage from the vents. b) Mr.Perry doesn't have any patience in hearing our grievance nor manners in expressing his views Really unhappy for his dictatorship. There was a polite conversation with him, felt like "we are monkeys trapped in a cage". c) lunch timing on first day was less then 45 minutes, wherein passengers were directed to a long-distance hotel for way to fetch some food also stopped the Bus very far away from the parking area. Here one should understand that, travellers with kids and depending families had to walk long way wasting time in walking alone. VEGETERIANS should take their own lunch for day one. Mr.Perry doesn't even look into all this aspects and expresses his anger in Mic and warns us with popped up eyes. d) He never looked back weather people got proper accommodation from hotels where we stayed, e) Nevertheless we people had one peaceful morning, he dictates that every one should be in seat by 6.20 am, without even having foresight of people who were just locking there rooms and ready for checkout with kids and old age people. f) On the last day Mr.Perry argued with all of us and ready to leave behind one of the family in the group for merry 5 minutes delay in dept time, Mr Chris driver expresses one of the passengers to kick off from Bus and as a penalty they wouldn't take responsibility in getting them back to there destination. Apparently he works for federal government and has right to do anything with anyone and he has also done this in this previous trips. g) Infurthence, to the above, the entire our time spent in tour was stolen and spoilt away by both of them in terms of Money, happiness and (our precious holiday period) keeping all of us unhappy in darkness of bitter holidays experienced by your grace, we spent with your team. we hereby declare that it was not a worthwhile nor Happy trip organized by Tai Pan Tours company.

We just joined a 7days Eastern Canada PEI tour. Well, if you don't mind waking up early to be in the bus by 6:30am (sometimes a bit later) and rushing, and eating mostly Chinese food then this tour is for you. My friend and I didn't mind it, so we enjoyed it and have so much fun seeing different places. Our tour guide named Winter was nice, friendly and very knowledgeable about the places we went to. And I can tell that most of us seemed happy and comfortable in this tour. My friend and I, decided to join another tour later as long as Winter is our tour guide. Oh yeah, our driver Paul was also nice. And the hotels where we stayed in were clean, spacious, nice and comfortable beds and pillows. I would recommend it!

One of the worst tour companies I have ever been in. We went to New York Boston Atlantic city Washington DC the driver purposely didn't turn on ac and turned off free wifi I mean they are complete scum be very careful going with this company they are criminals I'm surprised they are not in prison yet never going with this company anywhere

After reading all the bad reviews about Tai Pan Tours, I feel I need to share about my recent experiences. We just came back from their 4 days New York, Boston & Washington DC trip today. The hotels that we stayed were amazing! First night we stayed at The Westin Waltham Boston, second night Hyatt Regency Morristown (New Jersey) and last night at Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey. I checked online and the hotels alone cost around $500 + tax, and the three of us only paid $850 for the tour (exclude meals, admission fees for attractions & gratuities), which is really a good deal. Our tour guide Eddy is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond to make sure we are all taken care of. I will definitely traveling with Tai Pan tour again!

How much is he cost ,for this Tours 3 day. .???

Many of our friends had suggested this tour but it was pretty disappointing. I am not sure if it was because of the guide we got who was like a 'teacher' asking us to sit n stand when he says.

2) since they have to cover so many places u r time bound and u hardly get to spend 45 mins at every place.if you count u hardly spend 2 hours a day on attractions n rest of the day u r either travelling/washroom/3ating.

3) please opt for history museum in Montreal only if ur guide assures u for one n half hour as it's quite big and if you are paying 22 cad u need to justify it reading etc. The observatory point at Quebec is not at all good. U might as well stand on 34th floor of any building and have a view of your own city.

4) the other taipan bus guide and driver who dropped us to Chinatown later were very friendly, energetic . The guide actually ruined our tour I should say. He was very strict. And he was interested in clicking a family picture and showing us way to washrooms rather than giving us time to spend. We have all the rights to get pissed off on the guide and why not, we pay him 30$ per person which is 60$/couple..

5) guide explains you all the history etc of every place which sometimes makes you feel unnecessary. Who cares the dates n directions. And in the museum it is also written you don't need someone to tell u the same thing. We are not kids!

Guys, drive yourself...You will have ur own time to spend wherever you want. It's worth spending a dollar more than going on a package tour.

Remember, they wake u up at 5am so that ur ready by 6.30 all the days. Without breakfast. You don't have a fixed seat. On 3rd day v got the last seat. Bus was uncomfortable.

I don't know if v were u lucky to have all of this experiences. If you want to try, u could...

An elevator on a bus? Your kidding right that you assumed there would be one?

' class=

<<My spouse has knee problem and Guide did not tell us that there is elevator for going from Upper level to Lower level.>>

It sounds as though there was a lift of some kind available to use. I read this as the guide did not tell them about it so the spouse with the knee problem had to use the stairs. Could be wrong though.

Travelled with a 3 year old. The kid was happ and at times got excited. The tour guide would embarass us everytime for the noise. I think a crying child may be annoying but nit a happy kid. The tour should rather not allow toddlers. They expect us to pay for the toddlers seat and keep him in control in the entire tour just because others cant sleep. This is nonsense. Tours arent for sleeping in the bus the wholw time. They give good time to relax in the hotel.

I request Tai pan management please teach your chinese tour guides to behave well and dont be RACIST. Or please stop booking for toddlers.

Overally i would say tour was good, driver has been excellent but the guide was annoying and embarassing us everytime.

So when anyone thinking of taking kids along and if u are an indian please think twice and be prepared to hear nonsense.

In fact we will soon be going with Tai Pan on their cross Canada Western tour ( Toronto to Vancouver) and returning with their USA Western leg (via Washington - Michigan - Ontario). Of course we certainly don't expect to see everything, but the itinerary and destinations they are visiting are interesting and perfectly acceptable to us. For value we think that it just can't be beat, for us doing this by rail/ car / air is simply unworkable. Like I said, it is a personal thing, bus tours are not for everyone, but if you want to do this, do your research then decide which tour/company to go with.

TO MR-CRUISER,

Thank you for your very informative post... agree that using an Organized Motorcoach Tour is a choice... and not something that works for everyone... BUT certainly a good way to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time (I hestitate to say "see" a lot of Canada... because most of the Itinerary is certainly spent hustling between cities... and for the most part... that isn't what most Canadians would say is the "BEST" parts of our country... the scenery and journey between our cities would be the thing that sets us apart from other places in the world).

Thanks for sharing,

' class=

I took this tour in 2008 (wow how time flies!) and we did enjoy seeing the sightseeing spots (Old Montreal, Biodome, Notre Dame, Parliament, other churches that I can't recall, a museum, etc). I can vouch that this tour is not for everyone. It's perfect for those who want to see a lot in 3 days, on a budget, or likes having a driver/planning all done for them. This tour is very appealing to those who just like to say 'Yeah, been there and done that' versus those who might like to spend 5 hours at one place.

' class=

You guys are a bunch of whiners. Ever heard of the phrase - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR? It's a common wisdom. Sure these tours are not the greatest but for approx $200-$300 a trip, what did you expect? A 5-star hotel accommodation and restaurant? Geez. A one night stay alone at a relatively decent hotel costs $100. If you paid $300 for a 3day tour and expect you'll get an amazing travel experience then you must be dreaming.

When I signed up for the Canada East 3 Day tour last year, I knew what I was getting into. How did I know? They tell you! Their itinerary (which you can find on their website) will give you a pretty good idea beforehand. I don't understand these people who complain about the long bus ride or that they didn't get enough time to look around in the museum. You are signing up for a bus tour to the US from Canada. Hello? Of course the bus ride is going to be long! Why not book your own trip and stop whining like a 3 year old.

I agree that the lunch/dinner meals at a chinese buffet EVERYDAY is enough to make you swear off chinese food but you have an option NOT to partake and eat somewhere else. The tour guide will tell you that you are going to 'one of the best Chinese buffets in the city' (they will tell you anything as long as they keep getting kickbacks) -- don't be fooled. There are other restaurants to choose from. Likewise with their attractions. If you don't like museums and would rather go somewhere else, just tell the tour guide. As long as you are back on the bus at a specified time/location, you can go wander off on your own.

Why complain about the early wake up call? The bus leaves at 7am from the hotel every morning so that you will have more time to see places. If you are off travelling somewhere, would you waste your time in bed sleeping in? Seriously!

Don't like the tour guides broken English or Chinese movies? BRING AN IPOD!

These chinese tours are not for everyone. Definitely not for someone who likes to spend a full day looking at things in museums. This is more for people who don't have better things to do and have a few hundred dollars to spare to see other places. It's for someone who don't have the time and can't be bothered to book their own trip.

Just came back from a 3 day Canada East tour with Tai Pan. We bought these tickets from someone on Kijiji who needed to sell them off, so we got a good deal.

At first I was a little worried about the tour after reading some reviews. Obviously I knew we weren't going to spend a lot of time in places that we wanted but it was a much cheaper option that doing it by ourselves. Overall I thought it was a good experience and would recommend it to someone who is looking to see the main sites without spending a lot of money. I'll give a run down on the main points.

Hotel Plaza in Quebec: located 20-30mins from vieux Quebec. Nice hotel and clean. Much better than I expected. Wanted to go back to the old city but it was rainy.

Only thing is you only know the names of the hotels the day before (our tour guide didn't call us). So we couldn't plan appropriately.

TOUR GUIDE: Our tour guide wasn't the best. We thought he missed out a lot of opportunity to engage with the passengers and he didn't know a lot of information. Thought he might have been over it and didn't really care. He spoke in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. If you're looking for a informative guide, this isn't it. I would expect you to read up on info before going/

BUS: Bus was clean and ok. They showed movies twice a day.

TOURIST SITES: Didn't go along with the optional tours as we have seen most of it and prefer to go back another time instead of paying and then only spending 45mins in each. Would have been nice to spend more time in Vieux Quebec and Montreal but c'est la vie!

FOOD CHOICES: Didn't go along with their chinese buffet options. Think its about 13 CAD each person. There are some restaurants around but mainly fast food chains.

SERVICE FEE: There's a 24 CAD service fee for each passenger.

I think to make the most out of it, go out and explore when you have free time after you check in the hotel. It may be tiring but well worth going to restaurants in Montreal and seeing what there is to offer.

No one forces anyone to go on these tours. It is really a little foolish to suggest that so many places requires 2, 3 or 4 days each to appreciate them. Sure, that is true, but it is also true that for some people time on a vacation or trip is limited and they don't mind squeezing a lot into a small time frame.

mr_cruiser : Can you please give me more details on trip. After reading your review, All i knew was trip was enjoyable. I wanted to know how was the stay, Journey in Bus, restaurants/hotels where Bus stopped, and other place of attractions that they promised. I am planning for similar trip very soon and would be happy to get your feedback.

TO XPLORING CANADA,

As a fairly NEW Member of TripAdvisor a few things you should be aware of…

Travellers who have made enquiries on the FORUMS (or replied to other’s topics) RARELY come back to the FORUMS for Follow-Up or to answer others Questions… Travellers typically ask Questions… then Travel… and maybe post a Trip Report or some REIVEWS… before moving onto the next Destination FORUM that meets their needs for their next Trip Planning Requirements.

RARE is the Poster who has opted to have TA send them email and follow along on a particular topic (especially so if they weren’t the OP ~ Originating Poster … who created the topic to begin with). So it is doubtful that a past poster will see or reply to your Question here.

For better results... you could however, send them a PM ~ Private Message if their feedback is important to you on this topic.

To send a PM, click on their highlighted User Name… and follow the directions for SEND A MESSAGE… inturn TA will send them an email letting them know that someone is wanting to correspond with them here on the TA Website.

Hope this is helpful,

PS.. Hopefully if you do take such an Organized Motorcoach Tour, you'll come back to the FORUM and share a detailed Trip Report with us... could go a long way to helping other Travellers.
