All the Details on Beyonce's Formation World Tour 2016

By Lynsey Eidell

It's safe to say that Beyonce was the real MVP of Super Bowl 50 , right? (Sorry, Von Miller.) Her absolutely dominant performance at the halftime show was enough to earn her the honors—but officially sealing the deal was Bey's announcement of the Formation World Tour 2016 (via Super Bowl commercial, obvs). If her showstopping halftime display was any indication, the Formation Tour will essentially be the highlight of our year. Besides that fact, here is everything we know so far about Queen Bey's next epic tour—from tickets to dates to a potential new album in the works.

Instagram content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

It's Bey's first major solo tour since the Mrs. Carter Show in 2013. Which, coincidentally, she announced after performing at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show. That tour featured 132 shows across the world, and eventually incorporated songs from her surprise album which dropped midtour, Beyonce . Which brings us to our next point...

The announcement could indicate a new Beyonce album is on its way. There's buzz that Bey's new single and new tour—both which share the name "Formation"—mean that another surprise album could be on its way. Throw in the fact that Bey had a relatively quiet 2015 (was she in the studio?!) and that her contract with Columbia Records is up at the end of this year, and a Beyonce album seems positively likely. (We've got our fingers and toes crossed.)

So where can you see Queen Bey? She's got 22 North American tour dates, followed up by 15 European stops. Pull up Google Maps and start calculating which location is geographically closest to you...

And now, the most important part: How to get tickets. Set your alarms: Tickets go on presale starting tomorrow, February 9, at 10 A.M. ET for BeyHive Fan Club members, American Express cardholders, and VIP Packages. (You can still become a BeyHive member here , but the website has been down most of the day.) Then, on Friday, February 12, presales begin for Live Nation and LN Mobile App codes (some swift Googling can unearth the codes if you are not a member). General ticket sales will begin on Ticketmaster on Tuesday, February 16, at 10. A.M. ET—but if the Adele hysteria is any indication, nabbing a ticket that way will take some serious luck and browser refreshing.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

2016 world tour formation

By Jon Caramanica

  • April 28, 2016

MIAMI — “Crazy in Love,” Beyoncé’s first solo No. 1 single, remains, even 13 years after its release, a signature — an exuberant sparring session of jubilant horns and percussive vocals, overlaid with singing that’s somehow both acrobatic and sauntering.

When she started to perform that song at Marlins Park here on Wednesday night, though, it was something else altogether: slurry, gothic, desiccated. She and several dancers had just arrived onstage in adjacent wooden boxes. From afar, they looked like a row of coffins.

But after a couple of minutes of stretching “Crazy in Love” like taffy, Beyoncé reset. There were the erupting horns. There was the familiar voice-over introduction by her husband, Jay Z. There was the megawatt smile and the cocky stroll.

After a quick detour past a disruptive fun-house mirror, Beyoncé had set everything right again.

That transition was a microcosm of this whole concert — the opening night of her 41-date “Formation” World Tour — which began at something like a funeral and ended very surely at baptism, an arc that was already familiar from “Lemonade,” the rather staggering tale of disappointment and perseverance that Beyoncé had released just days earlier as a stunning hourlong HBO special and a straightforward album.

On “Lemonade” — and perhaps in real life, though no one’s telling — Beyoncé is a love-racked naïf, newly woken to the failed state that is her marriage. The first half of the album is pure vengeance. Beyoncé has always been a fanatic about technique and structure and sheen, but on the record, for the first time, she’s a zealot about vulnerability.

She performed many of the best songs from the album here: “Sorry,” during which her backup dancers extended two indignant middle fingers; “Don’t Hurt Yourself,” during which she was backed onscreen by unforgiving flames; “Daddy Lessons,” where she sang about her pain as a sort of cross-generational inheritance.

Even more vividly, this show refracted her old catalog through the prism of “Lemonade” and its revelations. Take the anxiety of “Me, Myself and I,” from her solo debut album, “Dangerously in Love,” released in 2003, the year after she and Jay Z began dating, or the grown-folks problems captured on “Mine,” from her self-titled 2013 album . Suddenly, an alternate history of Beyoncé is available, one that de-emphasizes her exceptional voice and ruthless perfectionism and underscores her persistent unease with love.

The stage’s centerpiece was a giant rotating tower that served as a jumbo screen simulcasting the action to the cheap seats, a video-interlude delivery device (midshow, the large screen went purple as the sound system blared Prince’s “Purple Rain”) and an interactive movement partner, splitting in the middle to reveal dancers suspended in air.

At either side of the stage were smallish pens that held several dozen of Beyoncé’s loudest fans. From time to time, she would give one of them a long glance, share a laugh or offer the microphone for a shared song.

But for someone who excels at spectacle, and who conducts and executes grand-scale group activity with military precision, Beyoncé made the striking decision to spend large parts of this show alone, unvarnished under the night sky.

In these poignant moments, she seemed not particularly preoccupied with the pyrotechnics that ordinarily are used to fill stadiums (though later, there were actual fireworks). Clearly, she felt that a meditative approach to her anguish was sufficient. And indeed, in the shadow of such an overpowering emotional manifesto, some of her breezier material felt misplaced here, as did bits and pieces of songs that weren’t hers — a quick dance routine to O. T. Genasis’s “Cut It,” a needless bit of Eurythmics’s “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” pasted into her own “Sweet Dreams.”

This was mild clutter, though, especially for a pop star who is a fiery dancer and can keep up with her backing troupe at peak speed and complexity. Several times, they all strutted down a long catwalk that led to a platform in the middle of the field, holding court and striking poses along the way.

At the end of the show, that platform was covered in water, and Beyoncé and her dancers stomped and kicked and splashed in a deeply visceral display of earthy power. As on “Lemonade,” the show’s final act served as a resolution and salve — fury giving way to release.

That stretch of songs was the night’s most provocative: the new “Freedom,” with its screaming guitars; the martial “Survivor,” newly relevant; the twitchy love song “End of Time”; and the temperate ballad “Halo,” which she dedicated “to my beautiful husband,” adding, “I love you so much.”

It felt warm but incomplete, lacking the earned resolution she achieved on “Lemonade,” thanks to conciliatory songs like “Sandcastles” and “Forward,” neither of which she performed here.

“Lemonade” was first made available on Tidal , Jay Z’s streaming service, and if you’re inclined to believe the sort of people who give anonymous quotes to entertainment reporters, then there’s this, from E! News : “He knew the lyrics; he knew the implications. He had to approve the songs before release.”

Which is to say that the act of enjoying this phase of Beyoncé’s career demands a tacit forgiveness of her husband and apparent antagonist. Before the night’s final segment, the screen showed videos of her, Jay Z and Blue Ivy, their daughter, in scenes meant to reaffirm the certitude of their familial bliss. Some people did boo, though, when Jay Z appeared onscreen.

When Beyoncé shifts moods on “Lemonade” away from indignation and toward healing, Jay Z shifts from a shadowy figure to a near-collaborator, even though his voice is nowhere to be heard. Though this show followed a similar path, Jay Z remained an abstraction throughout — this wasn’t his stage, even if he was nearby, watching.

During “Flawless (Remix),” Beyoncé sat at the edge of the stage surrounded by her dancers, and sang about the 2014 episode in which her sister, Solange, assaulted Jay Z in an elevator , the event that was the first high-profile public rupture in the outwardly perfect Beyoncé-Jay Z union.

After that line, though, Beyoncé laughed, said, “Goddamn, goddamn, goddamn,” then segued into “Feeling Myself,” a giggly song about how no one is better suited to loving you than yourself.

On February 6, 2016, Beyoncé released " Formation " for free on the music streaming service TIDAL and its accompanying music video on her official YouTube. On February 7, 2016, Beyoncé performed "Formation" during her guest appearance at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. Immediately after the performance, a commercial aired announcing The Formation World Tour, which would kick off in Miami on April 27, with the first pre-sales going on sale just two days after the announcement on February 9, 2016.

Production and development [ ]

The focal point of the tour's main-stage was a 60 feet tall rotating cuboid, nicknamed the 'Monolith' by designers. The stage also consists of a runway, which also acts as a treadmill leading onto a B-stage that fills with a pool of water. The treadmill on the catwalk was designed to be waterproof in order to withstand unpredictable weather found in outdoor stadiums. The B-stage stores 2,000 gallons of water inside of it and takes approximately 10 minutes to fill up, which occurs without the audience even realizing.

Beyoncé didn’t personally run or pass for a touchdown at Sunday’s Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. But the super savvy pop and R&B vocal superstar may have scored the most points, marketing-wise, by using her halftime show guest spot with Coldplay as the kickoff to her post-halftime announcement about the first leg of her 2016 Formation world tour.

Fittingly, all of the dates announced thus far are in stadiums, including Beyoncé’s May 12 concert at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium.

The 13-city North American opening leg takes its name from her new album, which she teased Saturday by releasing a politically and sexually charged video for “Formation’s” title track. Her tour will open with an April 27 show at Marlins Park in Miami and conclude with a June 12 show at Pennsylvania’s Hershey Park Stadium, near Harrisburg. Then the tour moves to Europe. All dates appear below.

The tour is being produced by Live Nation, which owns Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista and House of Blues in the Gaslamp Quarter. Tickets will go on sale this week; prices and on-sale times for Beyoncé’s San Diego concert appear below.

Beyoncé headlined at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show. Her May 12 concert here at Qualcomm will be the first headlining performance at the stadium since the now-dormant English teen-pop group One Direction opened its tour there last summer . It will also mark Beyoncé’s first performance as a solo artist in any venue here since 2007, when her The Beyoncé Experience tour included a stop at the San Diego Sports Arena (which is now known as Valley View Casino Center).

Beyoncé’s 2014 On the Run tour with her husband, Jay Z, skipped San Diego in favor of two shows at the 100,000 capacity Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Her 2013/2014 The Mrs. Carter Show tour skipped San Diego in favor of two shows at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Her 2009/2010 “I Am...” world tour also skipped San Diego, in favor of one Los Angeles show at Staples Center. Prior to her 2007 Sports Arena concert here, Beyoncé performed at Coors (now Sleep Train) Amphitheatre on the 2005 farewell tour by Destiny’s Child , the vocal group that propelled her to solo stardom.

Ticket prices for the May 12 Qualcomm Stadium show are $40, $70, $95, $165 and $300 each, plus service charges.

A pre-sale for members of her fan club will run from 10 a.m. Tuesday to 5 p.m. Wednesday. A pre-sale for American Express card members will run from noon Tuesday until 5 p.m. Wednesday. A Live Nation pre-sale will run Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com , and by phone at (800) 745-3000.

Beyoncé Announces Formation World Tour After Super Bowl 50 Halftime Performance

Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show

L ooks like “Formation” wasn’t the only surprise Beyoncé had in store for this weekend: the singer announced a new world tour after performing with Coldplay.

After performing her new single—which she surprise-released the day before the Super Bowl—and having a dance battle with Bruno Mars during Coldplay’s set, a TV spot announcing The Formation World Tour played at the conclusion of the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.

While full dates have not been announced, the 40-date tour will kick off on April 27, according to Billboard .

Beyoncé’s last tour was the On the Run Tour, which was a co-headlining tour with her husband Jay Z, in 2014. The star’s site appeared to crash shortly after the announcement.

Beyoncé announces Formation World Tour during the Super Bowl

By Kwame Opam

Beyoncé just pulled off a Super Bowl hat trick. In addition to releasing a new single and performing during the Half Time Show, Bey just announced that her Formation World Tour will launch on April 27th.

News about the tour leaked earlier this afternoon, leaving fans waiting with bated breath for the announcement:

Beyoncé gears up for the FORMATION World Tour! GET READY! Announcement shortly! pic.twitter.com/XO4Q8pa9F6 — THE BEYHIVÉ (@TheBeyHiveTeam) February 8, 2016

The reveal was finally made during the Super Bowl telecast, and tickets will go up for presale on February 16th. This is a big deal for a few reasons. The first is that Beyoncé is already one of the biggest touring acts in the world, a fact that's supporting by her website being overloaded by fans since the announcement aired earlier this evening. The second is that she's going on tour without having an album to promote, which is virtually unheard of for most artists. Of course, since "Formation" is pretty much the song of the weekend at this point, it's safe to say that Beyoncé had the Super Bowl won even before it began.

Here are the full tour dates:

April 27 - Miami, FL - Marlins Park

April 29 - Tampa - Raymond James Stadium

May 1 - Atlanta, GA - Georgia Dome

May 3 - Raleigh, NC - Carter-Finley Stadium

May 5 - Nashville, TN - Nissan Stadium

May 7 - Houston, TX - NRG Stadium

May 9 - Dallas, TX - AT&T Stadium

May 12 - San Diego, CA - Qualcomm Stadium

May 14 - Los Angeles, CA - Rose Bowl

May 16 - Santa Clara, CA - Levi’s Stadium

May 18 - Seattle, WA - CenturyLink Field

May 20 - Edmonton, AB - Commonwealth Stadium

May 23 - Minneapolis, MN - TCF Bank Stadium

May 25 - Toronto, ON - Rogers Centre

May 27 - Chicago, IL - Soldier Field

May 29 - Detroit, MI - Ford Field

May 31 - Pittsburgh, PA - Heinz Field

June 3 - Boston, MA - Gillette Stadium

June 5 - Philadelphia, PA - Lincoln Financial Field

June 7 - New York, NY - Citi Field

June 10 - Baltimore, MD - M&T Bank Stadium

June 12 - Hershey, PA - Hersheypark Stadium

Update 10:00pm ET: The article has been updated to indicate the Formation World Tour will begin on April 27. A previous version of this article stated that the tour started in June. That was incorrect and we regret the error.

The European leg of the tour starts June 28th in Sunderland, U.K. at Stadium of Light and includes dates in London, Manchester, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Stockholm, Frankfurt and more.

Bey debuted “Formation” live Sunday at Santa Clara, California’s Levi’s Stadium dressed in a tight black jumpsuit with gold military “ammunition” that seemed to reference Michael Jackson’s signature look from the Eighties. Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ World Tour Lands No. 1 Tour With 49 Performances

2016 world tour formation

By De Elizabeth

Image may contain Beyonc Human Person and Fashion

When it comes to stars who draw big crowds, it's no surprise that Beyoncé is number one. Her dazzling Formation World Tour finished as the No. 1 tour in 2016 , after it grossed over $256 million in sales. What's even more impressive is that Bey only played 49 shows, compared to some of the other tours on the Top 25 list, who finished the year with more than 100 shows. And while the tour wrapped on October 7, no other artist has been able to unseat her.

In addition to the amount of money that Formation made, the number of attendees was also pretty impressive. Over 2.2 million people came to see Queen Bey on stage – that's a lot of members of the Beyhive! As for the other names on the Top 25 list, Bruce Springsteen snagged the No. 2 spot with $255 million in sales. Coldplay, Adele, and Justin Bieber claimed spots 3 through 5, respectively. As for Justin he's still got one more tour stop to go — he'll take the stage in Miami on New Year's Eve — but we have a feeling that no one will unseat Bey. We bow down.

2016 world tour formation

2016 world tour formation

Beyonce Announces ‘The Formation World Tour’

Beyonce fans, it’s time to get in ‘Formation’ at the box office.

The superstar diva has formally announced her 2016 world tour. Aptly, it’s titled ‘The Formation World Tour’ after her newly released song of the same name.

Kicking off in North America this Summer, the trek serves as singer’s first stadium concert series solo.

It follows her 2014 ‘On The Run Tour’ with husband Jay Z and the mega-grossing ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ (which ran 2013 into ’14).

The concert announcement comes one day after the 34-year-old made the “world stop” at the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show with  Bruno Mars  and Coldplay .

Are you ready to be entertained?!

Details below…

The 40-date tour begins April 27th.

Tickets will go on sale next week, starting with an Amex pre-sale. The tour’s 40 shows will be split fairly evenly between North America and the U.K. and Europe, with Canada and the U.S. to run through mid-June. The U.K./Europe leg will start in mid-June and run through July.

Rihanna’s albums would still be selling this time of the year, where is Beyonce? Surfboarding away from the charts? Reply

' src=

Girl you so bitter, Just chill for one got damn day….. As If Rihanna would have done a better job….. The Halftime show was already Boring without Beyonce, If it were fRihanna up there they would have went to sleep…. Im sure the viewers will be more than Katy’s last year.

' src=

Beyoncé just SLAYYED!!!!!!!!!!!! HER TOUR WILL BE SOLD OUT BY THE SECOND DAY OF PREORDER! Don’t mind that hater that FIRST COMENTED! Smh DESPERATION IS REAL

' src=

Lol damn 1st again

' src=

you’re always so angry about Beyonce. calm the hell down, please.

' src=

you are really out of your mind if you can’t see how great her performance was. you don’t want people to talk about Rihanna yet you come in a beyonce article and talk like this. no wonder I see you getting dragged all through the comments.

' src=

Her team is on point man ???. Come thru Queen!!!

' src=

YAAAASSSS OMFG THAT SLAYAGE!!! SASHA WAS OUT TO PLAY AND STRAIGHT ANNIHILATED!!!! But omg did yall see bey almost fell!!! YAAAAASSSSS A F****** WORLD TOUR KIIIII POOR FRIAH!!!!! I CANNOT DEAL AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHA

' src=

Omg Im so attending the Rose Bowl date!!!! Kiiii i thought she couldn’t do STADIUMS GAVEEEY!?!?!? SEETH MATHAGUCKAS SEEEETH!!!!!! Expect more dates especially in EUROPE she will sell out! OMG!!!!!

@Mariah please refrain from commenting in future threads of mine. I have no time for irrelevant has been fan bases. #ThankYou?

' src=

Bey killed the performance with Bruno. How you are going to steal the show from the actual headliners tho

That has to be the most disorganized messiest half-time show I’ve ever seen. ‘ Everything was going great with Coldplay until Giselle ghetto-ed it up. ‘ And it’s obvious the b1tch doesn’t know how to share. She made it all about her instead of Coldplay.

' src=

That’s your way of consigning the greatness….!!!! We know girl, she did the damn thing- we know.

' src=

Oh b**** roll over and f***** die! Ol hating ass heroine addict c***. It anything is disorganized its your favs career.

' src=

Lmaoooo, this fool just admitted the greatness. If YOU believe that it was indeed “all about her” and that Beyonce was able to make it all about her when she was sharing the stage with two other huge artists, you must think much more highly of her than you let on.

@LB You are tired and one of BEYONCES BIGGEST FANS! I think you were the first to comment on FORMATIONS Video premiere! You have those FanClub Notifications on that BoostMobile phone you got ??? when your fav can get INVITED to perform at such a huge EVENT the. There’s a conversation you MAY have! Carry on

' src=

There’s a KKK meeting after the show to further degrade Cam. You can mention Beyoncé when you show up, dusty old kuhnt.

' src=

@LB im glad you liked the show. You still excited i see aww

' src=

This is going to be crazy!

Beyonce and Bruno Mars killed that performance. I just can’t with the slayage. I need some oxygen.

Bruno lowkey snatched my natural curls. His dancing was on point!!!. And Beyoncé was thicker than twenty five snickers.

Yussss, I was not checking for Bruno at all, but he was really entertaining!! I was not expecting him to slay like that.

' src=

She almost fell!!!!!!!

We kept rewinding it.. Lolllolol.

-What lowlife underachievers say

' src=

I thought I was the only one seeing that

Yall had this pre-written? Damn that was quick Anyway I have to go see this girl this time around!

' src=

Death she wont let Rihanna live ???

NEXT! Nobody cares. Have a seat.

Lets not do this in this post thanks

Oh, so now you wanna be civil? You instigated this entire beef and now you wanna play nice? B**** shut up!

Honey im a lady I can always keep it civil. Its not the time to start another fight lets just celebrate Queen Bey thanks.

I honestly don’t care what you do. Just make sure its done OUTSIDE of my reply section the next time you decide to it * holds up peace sign and fades out*

' src=

Why even mention her? Did you not listen to formation?

Supposed to be Coldplay’s day, not Giselle day. Chris Martin’s band will hate him big time for this.

It’s not his fault Beyonce outshined his little band.

He should have never invited her to begin with. ‘ Coldplay has got some amazing music, they can stand on their own two feet.

I know. I’d be pissed. No one will go to sleep thinking about no damn Coldplay that’s for sure.

Chris f***** up

Don’t start hating just because Beyonce knows how to market herself b****. She DID THAT!

' src=

BEYONCE and Bruno saved that show which I don’t think showcased Coldplays hit filled discography. And why would the not cease the opportunity to push their collab??

Anywhooo This formation tour better be supporting a new album because if it ain’t… I’m not paying to see Mrs Carter show + formation

' src=

But wait! I thought Bey couldn’t do stadium tours? I thought she was only an “arena artist”. It must suck to be a Beyonce hater these days. I mean, you really have to TRY.

' src=

Okay hunny! you tell ’em! #Formation

Yyyyyes I can’t! She slated the fuüûck outta that super bowl!

So she’s going on tour with no music to perform! She’s officially a circus act, but hey walk that stroll and get your bills

That’s rich coming from a navy considering you BARELY got your album and the tour was announced YONKS before the album was even complete.

*DROPS MIC*

Rihanna has a plethora of hits to perform outside of the ANTI. Beyonce on the other hand only has her dancing to rely on.

She’s got that fried chicken song out, I think that’s what she is naming her circus act tour after.

' src=

I’m getting tickets to her new tour!!!!!! Bring it on b 🙂

This performance was like a hug from the Lord! Beyonce was dancing for the GAWDS out there

' src=

Yassssss bitchhhhhhhhhhhh slayyyyyyy

Omg Coldplay was so dry thank GOD Beyonce and Bruno saved the show cause that shittt was off to a very weak start much like antis album sales.

' src=

She stole the thunder from cold play!!!!! BEYONCÉ IS NOTNPLAYING ..:

This was cute her and Bruno killed it . Formation was prefect for the super bowl.

#formation tour ticket on sale Tuesday….

' src=

Omg I can’t wait for this concert the queen slay as always thank you queen bey

' src=

Beyonce and Bruno did a great job, I was entertained.

' src=

https://youtu.be/8Y5_Kuw1tXM

' src=

Poor Riri! She wasn’t ready!

' src=

Just like I thought. Coldplay was overshadowed to Hell and back. They’ll be mad and regret it later on, though. Lol!

I wanna buy tickets so bad, but I already used my funds on Rih’s Tour. I know they’re going to sell out those stadiums SO DAMN FAST! IM FREAKING PISSED! Why did she have to slay double hard so good? I didn’tt even notice her about to fall.

' src=

HEY NEVY DUNT DUHGET MI ALBUM IZ OUT TOO. I HAVE UH TOUR TOO #FRIHANNA.NEVY

' src=

Sorry I don’t see the growth here but whatever spend your rent and life insurance while The Carters live the fabulous life.

' src=

Slay: When you’re already killing it but you have a slight mishap when hitting that drop but you manage to hop backwards in heels to stop falling. In a sentence: I SLAY, I SLAY. ALL DAY, I SLAY, BEY SLAY

Synonyms: BeyonSLAY

' src=

Beyonce has done it again!!! The queen of the stage shut the superbowl down again coldplay who? And bruno did his thing as well

LOL LB YOURE THE ONLY ONE UPSET HERE. #460

Beyonce and Bruno should have done a song with Coldplay and Coldplay should picked much more upbeat songs to perform. Superbowl is about energy and fun, they are exceptional artists but they were boring me with their performance I was even begging Kanye to come out and do his infamous dragging.

I think they should pick artists who have a lot of hits or stage presence that can get the crowd moving not some boring mess

“stage presence that can get the crowd moving not some boring mess”???

You stan for Rihanna… She’s arguably one of the worst live performers out right now. What would you know about stage presence????

Listen here you pressed Phage, I don’t give two s***’s. I’m not here for this petty back and forth anymore. yes you’re right, Rihanna is not a performer like Bey but Bey got nothing the performers who could actually sell like MJ or Janet. Also Rihanna sells more than your fave and is sitting with legends, we do not care. I don’t know why you sitring in my reply section when I praised Bey for a great performancevening, like dude.. GET A F****** LIFE. instead always throwing u necessary shade or hate

' src=

If this conflicts with my ANTI tour tickets !! Rihanna is cancelled ??? SLAY Queen !!

I was ready for an album.

Anyway gone to fill my iTunes library with more Coldplay music, loved to relive some of their songs, it was wonderful until he brought the hood to the fancy black-tie party. ‘ It was like all of the sudden they stopped serving champagne and Caviar to 40s and Popeyes with hot sauce. ‘ Always loved Coldplay music and will support them nonetheless even though Chris Martin f***** his band over with this one.

DUNT BE MAD NEVY QWEEN, MI GOTZ ANTI TOUR AND MEH FRIH ALBUM FOR YUH TO GO LISTEN TUH. Y YUH PEY ATTENTION TOO MUCH TUH BEY N NOT TO ME, FRIH? YOU NO NEVY QWEEN? WE HAVE A COCONUT BEEF

But LooseBooty, I thought 2016 was supposed to be Rihanna’s “Ray of Light” moment???? What happened???

Formation>>>>>>Anti

' src=

IKR. The “Formation” song by itself stomps all over ANTI.

' src=

The performance was horrid ,Beyonce was dancing like an excorcist …..worst super bowl half time ever .

' src=

Mad because Shakira can’t even book Univision in the US.

Waiting for zootopia to out gross everymmovie that illiterate has been in.

Death att you clinging to Disney movies. No one gives a f*** about Shakira being in Zootopia or w/e. Stay in your lane and don’t come for anyone who can open with over 100K (or 90K, at that) in the US.

@LB There’s no need for you to be using your troll account it ain’t that serious ?

Shakiras vocals sound like drunk sehx though so what are you saying?

' src=

We all know I’m no fan, but this bih slayed that SB performance. Bruno outshined Coldplay too. To me, Coldplay was not needed.

All I can hear is that infectious beat from Formation. You know that twangy sound from the intro.. It makes me wanna put on my best outfit and Jerry curl my hair and strut the streets of London with some boots and a beat face and SLAY betches!!!

@Blue Ivy Rod Nah, Coldplay did fine. Didn’t you see the crowd was living for their songs even before Giselle and Bruno Mars came on stage. ‘ That said, Bruno Mars did a better job at respecting the fact that this is a Coldplay show and not his show, he held back. ‘ Giselle literally used Coldplay and made it all about her, even pushing Chris Martin to the back of the stage, who does that?

And the hives dared to say that anti roll out was messy …this one is shaping up to be messier only without the hits . All the fat b**** cares about is milking her illiterate fans dry …no iTunes or album release but has already announced a world tour.

She did it in 2013 and BEYONCE was successfull so …

beyonce can actually afford to do things like this, though.

glad to see the goat stan fuming about beyonce, as usual.

yesss at these STADIUMS. May 25th I’m ready. Literally no one is talking about Coldplay. They sucked. Stop being delusional. Bey and Bruno stole the show.

May 27 my bday weekend

' src=

Yesss Rich, Bey is giving us a special b’day gift this year!

' src=

Hey. Not sure why u don’t like them. I think they are great?

The show was good ! period. I’m a Navy but the truth is the truth for now ,Rihanna can’t bring a show like this … Bruno it’s the best male performer he can dance , he can sing ! They both did better at their show ! Coldplay was really boring and Chris Martin can’t sing for s*** i mean even Ciara it’s way better .

Rihanna have to show next sunday that she “worth the wait” as she said because this years the competition gonna be too serious

' src=

I’m getting my tickets. B amaziing!!!!!!!!!

Beyoncé always take the shine!!!!!!!!

She gave everyone a warning with formation !!!!

I slay I slay I slay I slay I slay . She told y’all ????????????????????????????????????????????????

Stadium Status????

Nothing to brag about ,even Rihanna have a stadium statut …

Rihanna arena tour is struggling, watch the ? sell out quick.

In Europe she do well …

' src=

Bruno mars is honestly the male beyonce, so much darn energy.

' src=

I thought rihanna was meant to perform?

Ok, Bey just switched up all my plans in a flash! I can’t miss this tour!

It’s going to be our bday treat ????????????????

I just literally finish typing the same thing above! 🙂 Let’s get in formation and buy these tickets RR!

' src=

She know how to do a successful rollout

' src=

Glad to see Shakira inspires Bey in every era, even after all these yeas. She looked beautiful in the ad.

' src=

only a fool would pay to see a recycled show….WHO show WILL BEY THE COPYCAT thief STEAL FROM THIS TIME…..

' src=

I Will Be Going! Best Believe Dat! #QueenBey

' src=

Ugh. Beyoncé should have put Formation on iTunes. I feel like the song had the potential to skyrocket up the charts after this performance but it’s on wack ass Tidal for free.

' src=

LOL@LB. Sad little lifeless creature doesn’t know what to do with itself with Beyoncé once again owning the Internet. There is no escape, is there? What’s the matter, is ANTI not comforting enough to sooth your frayed nerves? Or does listening to it just remind you of how much it has failed and all the mercelious dragging both it and you have endured during these past few weeks. Ha! Poor you. Laughing at your misery! ?

' src=

Yassss Bitxh!! And kii at loosebottom seething as usual. #460

' src=

is it really a world tour if only Europe and US dates are mentioned. That is BS. What about us in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, India, Dubai, Kenya, Nigeria! come on B

' src=

Fans will buy the tickets to go see her performance in those states good for beyonce Carter

Beyoncé's Formation World Tour 2016: Dates, Cities, Tickets, Pre-Sales and More

After rocking a leather bodysuit and stealing the Super Bowl 50 halftime show with a Black Panthers-themed performance , Beyoncé stopped the world once again, announcing her continent and stadium-spanning Formation World Tour. Shortly after, the musician's site was down and Ticketmaster was experiencing service issues, as her halftime performance and tour announcement were simply too much for the internet to handle.

The hip-hop recording artist will travel through the United States, as well as several locations in Europe, from April 27 in Miami through July 31, where her tour will end in Brussels, Belgium. Beyoncé might be following in Rihanna's footsteps, who announced her Anti World Tour just before surprise releasing her rebellious eighth studio album. However, there still isn't any confirmation of a forthcoming album from Queen Bey, of course.

Beyoncé did, however, release each date and location for her next world tour. Time to start turning that album money into tour money.

The Formation World Tour tickets will have a pre-sale through a number of exclusive sites and apps. American Express cardholders will be given access from Feb. 9 through Feb. 17. Live Nation is also offering a presale online and through their Live Nation Mobile App on Friday. The codes for those two Live Nation presales are "AWARDS" and "COVERT" respectively.

Beyoncé: no other female singer is currently as influential.

Beyoncé, Formation World Tour, Sunderland review – she slays

Bey takes the Stadium of Light by storm, shrugging off the rain with a glittering magnificence and Lemonade’s brutalist rhythms

“W hat’s the difference between Sunderland FC and Beyoncé ? Only one can fill the Stadium of Plight,” one wag tweeted on Tuesday morning. Others wondered whether Sunderland, the first town to declare for leave in the EU referendum, would mistake the track Freedom, from Beyoncé’s current album, Lemonade, as a Brexit endorsement. But there were few such cynics among the near-capacity (tickets were still available, and selling for under face value before the show) crowd at the first European date of the Formation world tour.

Beyoncé has been opening her shows by advising audiences to shout “I slay!” – a canny way of spreading the fierceness. She is such a motherlode of confidence that she retired her Sasha Fierce alter ego several years ago because Sasha’s work was done: Beyoncé had integrated her private shyness and public forcefulness into the colossus Queen Bey, as she’s known to her Beyhive fanbase. No other female singer is currently as influential; she’s using her platform – and what a platform; the US leg of the tour grossed up to $11m a night – not just to sell her new Lemonade album , but to advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement, especially the lives of black women and girls, whose stories are in the fabric of Lemonade.

Beyonce performs during the Formation World Tour at Stadium of Light.

One thing she can’t control is the weather; it’s hard to credit that she would let a mere drizzle stop play, but she was 45 minutes late. When she appeared, in the first of a dozen spangled leotards and flanked by a battalion of dancers, she instantly got the crowd onside by commanding, “If you’re proud of who you are and where you’re from, say: ‘I slay’!”

Seeming at once imperious and near-approachable is her speciality. Performing Lemonade’s bitterest songs – Sorry and Don’t Hurt Yourself, which address her husband Jay Z’s unfaithfulness – she’s a pillar of rage; minutes later, she’s the proud mother, showing a picture of her daughter.

Even the interludes were heavy with concept. While she changed costumes, excerpts from Lemonade’s videos played across a large screen: here a razor blade emerges from her mouth, there she drives a monster truck, then her video image whispers: “Rest in peace, my true love.”Beyoncé undoubtedly slays, whether by casually unfurling an early track, Me, Myself and I, that displayed her voice’s richness, or by maintaining an intimidating chill during the anti-police brutality track Formation. Then there was the moment during Freedom when she executed a heavy-limbed ballet in a tank of water – in short, she cannot be accused of neglecting the visual side of performance. There are times, though, when her glittering magnificence and the pounding, brutalist rhythms of the new album induced a desire for a moment’s respite.

There are unexpected moments of levity, however, and plenty of genuine smiles – during an a cappella version of Love on Top, sung while seated, she seemed sincerely delighted to be in the nippy north-east, with only pyrotechnics to ward off the chill.

Disgracefully, the glorious Crazy in Love and Bootylicious were dispatched in a three-minute medley towards the end, but that’s her royal prerogative. As the stadium slowly emptied, nobody looked to have been short-changed.
