Creeping Death announce North American Tour

Creeping Death have announced a headlining summer North American tour. The trek is scheduled to kick off on August 16th in El Paso, TX and will run through September 18th in Austin, TX. Support will come from 200 Stab Wounds and Tribal Gaze as well as Ingrown, Spirit World, Vomit Forth, Age of Apocalypse, and Plague Years on select dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday (10th).

“We’re extremely excited to embark on our first headlining tour later this Summer. We can’t wait to hit the road with such an eclectic group of bands. We’ll see you all very soon!”

Texas death metal merchants CREEPING DEATH have announced a headlining North American tour beginning in August. Support will come from 200 Stab Wounds and Tribal Gaze as well as Ingrown, Spirit World, Vomit Forth, Age Of Apocalypse . Keep reading to get all the dates and details down below.

Following their recent run supporting Carcass and Immolation, CREEPING DEATH will return to the stage this August on a North American headlining tour. The trek begins August 16th in El Paso, Texas, runs through September 18th in Austin, Texas, and includes performances at this year’s edition of Psycho Las Vegas and Full Terror Assault. Support will be provided by 200 Stab Wounds and Tribal Gaze as well as Ingrown, Spirit World, Vomit Forth, Age Of Apocalypse, and labelmates Plague Years on select dates.

CREEPING DEATH continues to tour in support of their most recent release The Edge Of Existence EP, unleashed last year via MNRK Heavy. With a nod to crossover masters Iron Age, a bit of the tech-death of Cryptopsy, a foundation of forebearers Death, CREEPING DEATH summons a vibrant sound somehow both familiar and fresh. The Edge Of Existence EP further demonstrates the power, fury, and outright revelry at the heart of the band’s identity.

Captured at Homewrecker Recording Studio in Tucson, Arizona and produced and mixed by Ryan Bram (Gatecreeper, Bitter Rivals, Sex Prisoner), the six-song EP introduces three new certified hellraisers — “Relics From The Past,” “Humanity Transcends,” and the title track — alongside remade and revitalized versions of the three songs from the band’s 2016 debut EP — “Sacrament Of Death,” “Doused In Flames,” and “Skinned Alive.”

The Edge Of Existence  EP is available on CD, cassette, digitally, and vinyl at  THIS LOCATION .

As Texas death metal juggernaut, Creeping Death, prepares to release their Boundless Domain LP on June 16 via MNRK Heavy, today the band announces the two-part Boundless Domain Summer 2023 tour.

Early 2023 saw Creeping Death travel overseas to the UK and Europe with Revocation and Goatwhore, and the band is currently out on a month-long North American tour supporting Carcass, Municipal Waste, and Sacred Reich which ends this Sunday in Los Angeles, California.

Before the current tour is even over, the band today announces the Boundless Domain Summer 2023 tour; a two-pronged venture which will see them joined by two different groups of support. Part 1 of the tour is set to begin in San Antonio, Texas on June 16 – the day the new LP sees release – and will run through the Western half of the US, ending July 1 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Creeping Death will be joined by Year Of The Knife, Fleshrot, and Saintpeeler for Part 1.

Following a quick breather, Creeping Death will head back out, launching the Boundless Domain Summer 2023 Part 2 run on July 10 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This leg of the tour will see the band assaulting the Eastern half of the country through July 21, ending in Fort Worth, Texas. Part 2 will see the band flanked by Enforced (July 12 - July 16), Upon Stone, and Saintpeeler.

Boundless Domain boasts future death metal classics like the super heavy, fast, and groovy Intestinal Wrap, which features George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher of Cannibal Corpse. Vitrified Earth showcases Creeping Death's increasing skills at songcraft, most evident with the cadence and phrasing of Alavi's vocals while never neglecting the sick riffs. Toward the album's end, there's even a bit of a spaced-out atmosphere, with guitar effects, harmonies, and heady time signatures.

Creeping Death announces two-leg summer headline tour

Texas death metal band Creeping Death, which will release its “Boundless Domain” LP on June 16, 2023, via MNRK Heavy, has announced the two-part Boundless Domain Summer 2023 tour.

CREEPING DEATH is on a quick and furious ascent from the underground. The Texas death metal crew repeatedly delivers a relentless bludgeoning summoned from the furthest reaches of the genre’s past, present, and future. A triumphant celebration of the style itself, the Lone Star State fivesome whips up gruesome riffage and Southern grooves with an improbable cathartic glee.

CREEPING DEATH summons a vibrant sound that is somehow both familiar and fresh. Their initial outburst, 2016’s three-song Sacrament Of Death , introduced them to death and thrash metal audiences, followed two years later by the Specter Of War EP, and the following year saw the release of their debut LP. 2021’s The Edge Of Existence EP further demonstrated the power, fury, and revelry at the heart of their identity. Tours with High On Fire, The Acacia Strain, Rotting Out, Terror, and The Warriors have spread the CREEPING DEATH message. Crowds succumbed to the group’s combination of endlessly catchy riffage, precise percussion, and storytelling lyrics.

The band’s formula hits perfection with the brilliant Boundless Domain , a sophomore slab of spectacular weight, dimension, and might. Produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (As I Lay Dying, The Acacia Strain, Underoath), Boundless Domain is a certified ripper, top to bottom. In the wake of the passing of local heroes Riley Gale of Power Trip and Wade Allison of Iron Age, the band — guitarist Trey Pemberton, singer Reese Alavi, bassist Eric “Rico” Mejia, drummer Lincoln Mullins, and guitarist A.J. Ross, III — found themselves digging back into some of their metallic hardcore favorites. Boundless Domain boasts future death metal classics like the super heavy, fast, and groovy “Intestinal Wrap,” which features George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher of Cannibal Corpse. “Vitrified Earth” showcases CREEPING DEATH ‘s increasing skills at songcraft, most evident with the cadence and phrasing of Alavi’s vocals while never neglecting the sick riffs. Toward the album’s end, there’s even a bit of a spaced-out atmosphere, with guitar effects, harmonies, and heady time signatures.

IN FLAMES Announces May 2024 U.S. Tour With GATECREEPER And CREEPING DEATH

Swedish metallers IN FLAMES are set to infiltrate the U.S. for a spring headlining tour with special guests GATECREEPER and CREEPING DEATH . The skull-crushing lineup will kick off the excursion on May 1 in Portland, Maine and will wrap it up on May 26 in Dallas, Texas.

Commenting on the tour, IN FLAMES vocalist Anders Fridén says: "We are very excited to have these two killer bands, GATECREEPER and CREEPING DEATH , on this run. I foresee a night of huge riffs, blast beats, headbanging, moshpitting, people losing their minds and more. Come on down, lets have a good time!!!"

GATECREEPER frontman Chase Mason adds: "We are very excited to tour with IN FLAMES . We have been fans for a long time and got the opportunity to meet and play with the band last summer. IN FLAMES has been a huge influence on our newer material and hitting the road with them after working on our record is an ideal scenario for us."

IN FLAMES is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Foregone" , which was released in February 2023 via Nuclear Blast . According to a press release, the LP "combines the greatest aggressive, metallic, and melodic strengths of their landmark records with the seasoned songwriting of their postmodern era."

"Foregone" was the second IN FLAMES album with Paul and drummer Tanner Wayne , the first with ex- MEGADETH guitarist Chris Broderick , and the third with Grammy -winning producer Howard Benson ( MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE , THREE DAYS GRACE ). Mike Plotnikoff ( ALL THAT REMAINS , WARBRINGER ) engineered at Benson 's West Valley Recording Studios . Joe Rickard ( 10 YEARS , STARSET , DIAMANTE ),who played drums for IN FLAMES from 2016 through 2019, handled mixing duties.

Last year, IN FLAMES parted ways with bassist Bryce Paul and replaced him with Liam Wilson ( THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN ).

Wilson made his live debut with IN FLAMES on June 7, 2023 at the Release Athens festival in Athens, Greece.

In a recent interview with Jai That Aussie Metal Guy , Fridén spoke about the evolution of the IN FLAMES sound. He said: "I am aware that not all people follow us from album to album, even though there's a majority that do. And some people don't understand why we're trying this or that. But it's just like… For me as a songwriter or being part of the band, I need to evolve, I need to do something else. I can't just stay in the same place all the time. And that's what I love about music. And that's why I joined a metal band or wanted to be part of a metal band in the beginning because I thought everything was free — you can do whatever the fuck you wanted. It was just later in life I realized, 'Oh, there's all these rules.' I didn't sign up for these rules. Even though I appreciate the people care that much, but I don't wanna be part of those rules. I'm fine with people having rules — 'I'm into this' and 'I only listen to this' — and that's fucking cool. Do whatever you want. But I didn't sign up on those rules. So I wanna do and I wanna take IN FLAMES to a lot of different sonic territories, even though I don't wanna ever lose the sense of melody in writing and so on."

He continued: "I think through all our albums, there's this underlying theme of melody and aggression, even though it appears on every album in slightly different ways. But I really feel we have a sound that you can recognize, which, to me, it's the most important thing. You hear it, 'Oh, that's IN FLAMES .' People don't say, 'Oh, well, that sounds like AC/DC , but it's IN FLAMES .' It is IN FLAMES — no matter what it is, good or bad, whatever, it is IN FLAMES . So, yeah, at the end of the day, it's not going to be an album, a song. It's gonna be, like, we made something out these different chords and it sounds like IN FLAMES and we created a sound that traveled the world, which, to me, it's rewarding to know that."

Creeping Death continues to tour in support of their most recent release “The Edge of Existence” EP, unleashed last year via MNRK Heavy. With a nod to crossover masters Iron Age, a bit of the tech-death of Cryptopsy, a foundation of forebearers Death, Creeping Death summons a vibrant sound somehow both familiar and fresh. “The Edge of Existence” EP further demonstrates the power, fury, and outright revelry at the heart of the band’s identity.

Captured at Homewrecker Recording Studio in Tucson, Arizona and produced and mixed by Ryan Bram (Gatecreeper, Bitter Rivals, Sex Prisoner), the six-song EP introduces three new certified hellraisers — “Relics from the Past”, “Humanity Transcends”, and the title track — alongside remade and revitalized versions of the three songs from the band’s 2016 debut EP — “Sacrament of Death”, “Doused in Flames” and “Skinned Alive”.

In Flames ' 2023 album Foregone was a return to melodeath form that ranked among the year's best . In 2024, the Swedish vets are keeping the momentum going by heading out on tour with two of death-metal's current torch-bearers,  Gatecreeper  and  Creeping Death .

Later this spring, the three bands will be treking throughout the U.S., beginning May 1st in Portland, ME, and concluding May 26th in Dallas.

CREEPING DEATH will kick off Part 1 of their Boundless Domain Summer 2023 headlining tour tonight in San Antonio, Texas. The trek will run through the Western half of the US, ending July 1st in Tulsa, Oklahoma . CREEPING DEATH will be joined by Year Of The Knife, Fleshrot, and Saintpeeler.

Following a short breather, the band will return to the road launching the Boundless Domain Summer 2023 Part 2 on July 10th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This leg of the tour will find CREEPING DEATH assaulting the Eastern half of the country through July 21st, ending in Fort Worth, Texas. CREEPING DEATH is on a fast and feverish climb from the underground summoning a vibrant sound that is somehow both familiar and fresh. Their initial outburst, 2016’s three-song Sacrament Of Death , introduced them to death and thrash metal audiences, followed two years later by the Specter Of War EP, and the following year saw the release of their debut LP. 2021’s The Edge Of Existence EP further demonstrated the power, fury, and revelry at the heart of their identity. Tours with High On Fire, The Acacia Strain, Rotting Out, Terror, and The Warriors have spread the CREEPING DEATH message. Crowds succumbed to the group’s combination of endlessly catchy riffage, precise percussion, and storytelling lyrics. The band repeatedly delivers a relentless bludgeoning summoned from the furthest reaches of the genre’s past, present, and future. A triumphant celebration of the style itself, the Lone Star State fivesome whips up gruesome riffage and Southern grooves with an improbable cathartic glee.

In paying tribute to the passing of local icons Riley Gale of Power Trip and Wade Allison of Iron Age, the band — guitarist Trey Pemberton, singer Reese Alavi, bassist Eric “Rico” Mejia, drummer Lincoln Mullins, and guitarist A.J. Ross, III — found themselves digging deep into some of their metallic hardcore favorites making for a sophomore slab of monolithic weight, dimension, and relentless power.
