An actor and musician, Trey Curtis debuted in  Hamilton  during its special limited run in Puerto Rico in 2019. He has subsequently been involved in productions in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, Melbourne and Manila. In the last year, he has understudied the roles of Alexander Hamilton, Hercules Mulligan, James Madison, Marquis de Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson and more on Broadway. In addition to his work with  Hamilton , Curtis has appeared on the Facebook series  Five Points . His album  You Happy?  is available on streaming platforms.

Composer, lyricist and performer Lin-Manuel Miranda most recently played the title role in his smash hit Hamilton , for which he received 2016 Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score. He burst out onto the Broadway scene with his Tony Award-winning show, In The Heights . In addition to writing this first rap-infused musical, he also took on the leading role of Usnavi. Miranda co-wrote music and lyrics for Bring It On: The Musical and starred in the Encores! productions of Merrily We Roll Along and tick, tick...BOOM! . He starred as Jack in Disney's Mary Poppins Returns and wrote a number of songs featured in Disney's Moana.  Miranda is a founder member of the hip-hop improv group Freestyle Love Supreme.

Andy Blankenbuehler

Mr. Blankenbuehler is three-time Tony Award winner for his choreography in the Broadway productions of Bandstand , In The Heights, and Hamilton, for which he also received London’s Olivier Award. Other Broadway credits include Bring It On , 9 to 5 , The People in the Picture , The Apple Tree , Annie , and the revival of CATS. Upcoming theatre projects include the new musical Only Gold with British singer/songwriter Kate Nash, The Secret of Santa Vittoria with writer John Weidman, and the new musical Five Points . Recently, Mr. Blankenbuehler’s work has been seen on the Emmy Award-winning FX series Fosse/Verdon , as well as the Universal Studio film of the musical CATS.   He made his concert debut with a piece entitled Remember Our Song for the Tulsa Ballet Company. As a performer, Mr. Blankenbuehler has danced on Broadway in Fosse , Contact , Man of La Mancha , Saturday Night Fever , Steel Pier , Big, and Guys and Dolls . Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Blankenbuehler resides in New York City with his wife, Elly, and two children, Luca and Sofia.  Mr. Blankenbuehler has received Dance Magazine and Drama Desk Awards for his achievement in the theatre, as well as the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors for his work on the musical Hamilton.

Alex Lacamoire is a four-time Grammy, three-time Tony, and Emmy winner for his work on Dear Evan Hansen , Hamilton , In the Heights , and FX's mini-series Fosse/Verdon . His credits as music director, arranger, and/or orchestrator include: Message in a Bottle (London), The Wrong Man (Off-Broadway), Annie (2011 Broadway Revival), Bring It On , The People in the Picture , 9 to 5 (Drama Desk and Grammy noms), Legally Blonde , High Fidelity , Wicked , Bat Boy , and Godspell (2001 National Tour). Author of the book “Alexander Hamilton”

Ron Chernow is the prize-winning, best-selling author of seven volumes and the recipient of the 2015 National Humanities Medal. His first book, “The House of Morgan,” won the National Book Award; “Washington: A Life” won the Pulitzer Prize for biography; and “Alexander Hamilton” — the inspiration for the musical — won the George Washington Book Prize. He is one of only three living biographers to have received the Gold Medal in Biography of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. A past president of PEN America, Chernow has received eight honorary doctorates. He resides in Brooklyn, New York.

Hamilton fans rejoice as national Broadway tour hits DFW

NORTH TEXAS —  Great news for musical theatre fans — if you've been eager to see "Hamilton" in person, you're in luck.

The national Broadway tour of the show is running in Dallas at the Winspear Opera House and will head to Fort Worth's Bass Performance Hall on June 11.

This marks the second time Broadway Dallas has hosted the hit musical.

For years, getting a ticket to "Hamilton" seemed nearly impossible as its popularity soared, especially after the musical's movie release in 2020.

Now, the cast and crew are pleased that the show is becoming more accessible, with tickets more widely available and reasonably priced.

"Having it be a little exclusive in the beginning helped the show build its reputation and stature," said Blaine Krauss, who plays Alexander Hamilton. "It's like we've never been here before. Dallas is treating us like we descended from the heavens, and we're like, 'we're here!'"

However, staff warn that the best way to get tickets is through official sites.

They say fans are sometimes paying outrageous prices through third-party vendors.

Hamilton is ready to blow us all away as they enter their fourth year of their monumental Broadway run! Take a look at the current cast that is burning up the Richard Rodgers stage.

HAMILTON premiered on Broadway in August 2015 and took home 11 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album. The PGA Tour is north of the border this week for the 2024 RBC Canadian Open at Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Hamilton, Ontario. Five years ago, Rory McIlroy claimed the 2019 title at this golf course, winning by seven shots over Shane Lowry and Webb Simpson thanks to a final-round 9-under 61.

McIlroy, who also won this event in 2022, and Lowry are in the field again this week and joined by defending champion Nick Taylor, Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, Cameron Young, Sam Burns, Tom Kim and Adam Scott, among others.

Hamilton Golf & Country Club is a par-70 track measuring 7,084 yards.

Golf-We’re only human, says McIlroy as Tour deals with Murray suicide

HAMILTON, Ont. (Reuters) – Before launching his bid for a Canadian Open hat-trick Rory McIlroy took a moment on Wednesday to remind fans that golfers are only human as the PGA Tour comes to grips with the suicide of two-time winner Grayson Murray.

McIlroy, winner of the Canadian Open in 2019 and 2022, has also been dealing with some personal turmoil having announced earlier this month that he was ending his seven-year marriage and had filed for divorce.

The four-time major winner has also found himself under frequent attack as one of the front-line figures in the sometimes bitter feud between the PGA Tour and renegade LIV Golf circuit.

“I’ve had to realise that at times, and I’m still sort of working my way through that in terms of not making golf the be-all end-all for me,” the Northern Irishman told reporters following some practice at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club. “I think it slaps you in the face when something like that happens last week.

“As I said, it’s incredibly sad and everyone has to remember out here that we go out and we do things that a lot of people can’t, but at the end of the day we’re still human beings, and we’re vulnerable and we’re fragile.

“I think if there’s a lesson for anyone out there it’s just to be kinder to each other.”

Murray’s death, one day after he withdrew from a PGA tournament citing health reasons, has rocked the golf world.

The 30-year-old American turned professional in 2015 and won his first PGA Tour title in 2017. He reached a career-high 46th in the world rankings after winning this year’s Sony Open in Hawaii.

“I came on Tour in 2016, 2017 with Grayson,” said Canadian hope Mackenzie Hughes. “It was out there for everyone, his ups and downs, his life was well documented.

“He was doing that as well by speaking about what he was dealing with.

“I think people realising that professional athletes that are making lots of money are also dealing with the same things that everyone else deals with.

“If that’s going to be his legacy, that’s a pretty great one to leave, that it’s okay to be not okay.

“I know the Tour now will kind of look at how we can be better there, how we can continue to help people like that that are struggling and hopefully avoid this in the future.”
