The King's School, Senior School

Nestled within 320 acres of australian native landscape in parramatta, western sydney, the senior school provides the perfect setting for boys to explore and engage with their learning, develop skills and build strong community relationships..

Boys are able to access everything they need for academic, physical, social and spiritual development, from airy, engaging classrooms, to welcoming boarding houses, high quality sporting facilities and plenty of wide-open spaces. Senior School at The King’s School is designed to inspire.

Term 2: wednesday 22 may, term 2: wednesday 12 june , term 3: wednesday 31 july, term 3: wednesday 14 august, term 3: wednesday 11 september , term 4: wednesday 30 october , term 4: wednesday 20 november, the king's school, preparatory school, the preparatory school shares the same unique and enriching environment as the senior school, with an extensive range of facilities dedicated to our young kingsmen..

It offers everything boys need: the historic mansion of Gowan Brae, purpose-built Learning Centres, richly-equipped classrooms, specialist learning areas and enviable sporting facilities. Every space at the Preparatory School inspires, enlightens and supports each boy on his individual journey.

Term 2: saturday 18 may, term 2: wednesday 19 june, term 3: saturday 27 july, term 3: tuesday 3 september, term 4: saturday 26 october, term 4: tuesday 19 november, the king's school, tudor house, tudor house is the southern highlands campus of the king’s school and offers an education with a difference for girls and boys from pre-kindergarten to year 6. the peaceful country setting of moss vale provides an holistic education centred around care, curriculum and communication..

Students have access to superbly-resourced indoor and outdoor learning spaces that provide plenty of room to learn through active investigation and exploration. Tudor House nurtures a love for lifelong learning and global citizenship.

The treasury of our Moscow panoramas is gradually increasing.

We have already been shooting aerial panoramas for 6 years. During this period of time we shot many interesting cities of the world: New York, Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur, Sidney, Miami, Las Vegas, Rio de Janeiro, Dubai, Los Angeles and many others. However, we didn't succeed in shooting Moscow, the city we live in, though we did our best. The case is the flights over Moscow are forbidden except those of Russian Federation Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Response and Russian police. Taking in consideration these administrative restrictions we applied our creativity and resolved this problem by the following:

1) We made a virtual tour over Moscow Encircling Highway :  MEH and Interchanges

2) Yauza, Ramenki, Southern Port

3) In May 2010 near the Crocus-City the first in the world 1 gig pixel panorama was shot from the helicopter. It shows the Kremlin, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Novodevichiy Convent, the TV Tower of Ostankino and many other places of interest.

4) This sphere shot from the height of 1000 m which shows most part of Moscow and regions.

5) Last spring we have shot the panorama of Novodevichiy Convent

6) We have done a virtual tour over Moscow State University

7) Earlier this year we have done a fabulous panoramas of Moscow City business center

8) One of Moscow City panoramas has been converted into stereo format

9) We have created a  giga pixel panorama of the center of Moscow

Also it is worth to view one of the photos by Sergey Semenov devoted to the rehearsal of the Victory Parade of May 9. 

It had success on the exhibition  World Seen by the Russians  held in Moscow, on Tverskoy Boulevard in May-June 2011.

And now we would like to introduce a virtual tour around Moscow Kremlin.

John B. King, Jr., and Evan Rudall started Roxbury Prep in 1999 fulfilling a need in the Roxbury community to prepare students to enter and succeed in college. They started a school that is thriving 20 years later and now serves over 1,600 students in three middle schools and a high school.

King is currently the president and CEO of The Education Trust, a national nonprofit organization that seeks to identify and close opportunity and achievement gaps, from preschool through college. He served as the U.S. Secretary of Education under President Barack Obama. In tapping him to lead the U.S. Department of Education, President Obama called King “an exceptionally talented educator,” citing his commitment to “preparing every child for success,” and his lifelong dedication to education as a teacher, principal, and leader of schools and school systems.

Before becoming education secretary, King was the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education, overseeing all policies and programs related to P-12 education, English learners, special education, and innovation. King joined the department following his tenure as the first African American and Puerto Rican to serve as New York State Education Commissioner.

King holds a Bachelor of Arts in government from Harvard University, a J.D. from Yale Law School, as well as a Master of Arts in the teaching of social studies and a doctorate in education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
