Ep 22. Home of the Blizzard, Great Victorian Bike Ride and Kalgoorlie

Travel Oz season 2 episode 22 takes viewers on an adventure to explore the stunning landscapes and unique experiences in three different locations - Home of the Blizzard, Great Victorian Bike Ride, and Kalgoorlie.

First up is the "Home of the Blizzard" - Antarctica. The episode showcases the untouched beauty of this icy continent, where the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife leave viewers in awe. The Travel Oz team takes viewers to Mawson’s Hut, an iconic historic landmark where they uncover some of the stories of Australia's early Antarctic explorers. The crew also spends time with modern-day researchers and rescuers at nearby Davis Station, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation efforts in these relatively untouched areas.

Next on the itinerary is the Great Victorian Bike Ride. The Travel Oz team trades in their hiking boots for helmets as they join 5000 cyclists on a 10-day journey through the stunning Australian countryside. The journey takes them from the beaches of the famous Great Ocean Road through to the stunning Grampian Mountains. Along the way, they encounter unique local characters and natural wonders that make this bike ride a must-do for any adventure seeker.

Lastly, the episode takes viewers to the historic mining town of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The Travel Oz team joins a local bush poet and gold prospector on a journey to discover the town's rich history and vibrant culture. They take a journey into the depths of the Super Pit, one of the largest and deepest open-cut mines in the world. The team also delves into the opulent past of Kalgoorlie's grand old pubs and iconic buildings, many of which have stood the test of time for over a century.

Throughout the episode, the Travel Oz team showcases the unique experiences and stunning natural landscapes that Australia has to offer. From the icy beauty of Antarctica to the vibrant culture of Western Australia's rural towns, this episode is a celebration of all that makes Australia a truly unique destination for travelers from around the globe.

My adventures with superman season 2 trailer reveals supergirl, lex luthor & a release date.

Adult Swim officially drops a new My Adventures with Superman season 2 trailer while also finally announcing the release date for the DC TV show.

• My Adventures with Superman season 2 premieres with two episodes on May 25, followed by weekly releases.
• The new trailer teases threats from Clark's past, Amanda Waller targeting Superman, and Lex Luthor's arrival.
• Season 2 features battles with Brainiac, Atomic Skull, Parasite, Livewire, Deathstroke, and the introduction of Supergirl.

My Adventures with Superman season 2 gets a release date and a new trailer by Adult Swim, showcasing the next chapter in the DC TV animated adventure. 2023 marked a big year for Krypton's last son as the DC icon returned to the small screen in the world of animation through My Adventures with Superman . Focusing on a young Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen, My Adventures with Superman season 1 explored the early days of the iconic trio's respective careers in Metropolis, as the city became the home for the Man of Tomorrow.

Nearly a year after the end of My Adventures with Superman season 1, Adult Swim has finally scheduled the arrival of the new season, as the superhero animated series will premier with two episodes back-to-back on Saturday, May 25 , at midnight ET/PT before airing individual episodes every Saturday. The network also unveiled a brand new My Adventures with Superman season 2 trailer, showcasing the Man of Steel's next threats along with the arrival of some big DC characters. Check it out below, along with a new My Adventures with Superman season 2 synopsis, which teases the following storylines:

In the latest season, the three best friends face a host of new threats. Powerful foes will emerge from Clark’s alien past, Amanda Waller will take aim at Superman, Lois will grapple with the future, and Jimmy Olsen will spend an unbelievable amount of money. Krypton is coming for our young heroes, and its arrival will test their strength, loyalty, and love like never before.

After the popular theory that came out of My Adventures with Superman season 1, the season 2 trailer confirms that the mysterious Alex character is indeed the show's version of Lex Luthor . The footage makes it clear that Lex will have a bigger role in My Adventures with Superman season 2, as he is seen joining forces with Amanda Waller and, seemingly, Task Force X. It also appears that Jimmy will potentially have a rivalry of his own with Lex, as the two of them can be seen butting heads.

The new My Adventures with Superman season 2 trailer also gives a good taste of Clark's coming battle with Brainiac, along with the introductions of Atomic Skull and what looks like a Parademon. While it is unconfirmed whether or not Superman is fighting a Parademon, it wouldn't be shocking if My Adventures with Superman season 2 could potentially be planting the seed for a future Darkseid storyline. My Adventures with Superman season 2 is also confirming the return of key villains like Parasite, Livewire, and Deathstroke.

Last but certainly not least, the My Adventures with Superman season 2 trailer ends with the first look at Kara Zor-El, a.k.a. Supergirl, Clark's famous cousin. While a voice actress was not revealed at the time of this story's publication, it will be exciting to see how the writers are going to handle the introduction of the Girl of Steel in this universe. With less than a month to go, time will tell what other surprises My Adventures with Superman season 2 has in store for the DC audience.

The only people left playing this game are the mythic sweatlords and the transmog hoarders. This game is never going to be what it was ever again because those players are all gone, replaced by collectors who don't care about gameplay as long as there's 1285 pairs of boots they can frolic across the map to find. The game sucks because the players suck and the devs are just placating the whales.

Jacksonville travel agent gives advice on booking cruises during hurricane season.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With hurricane season going on, you may be wondering, is it really a good idea to book a cruise in that time frame? Is it going to be canceled?

Luckily, as we know, hurricanes are easy to track, so your chances of your cruise being impacted by a storm during hurricane season are slim. Changes to your itinerary may be possible, so you need to be flexible and have a plan in place.

Family vacations -- and even cruises may be on your agenda – as school is about to let out. But with hurricane season set to last through the summer, safety is always key.

Scott Lara, a travel agent, talked about safety on cruise ships during hurricane season.

“A lot of people are concerned about traveling during hurricane season because of winds and rough weather, but the good news is the cruise lines spend billions of dollars to make sure the ship, the crew, and the passengers stay safe,” Lara said.

Lara said state-of-the-art technology is in place to stay ahead of the storm and cruises are able to avoid problem weather.

“Corporate like in Miami will let cruise lines know, ‘hey there’s something in the area, turn left, turn right’ to keep passengers safe,” Lara said.

He also said one thing you should not overlook is travel insurance. When selecting a policy, make sure there’s coverage for weather-related disruptions. But also, don’t forget to read the fine print.

“There’s lots of things that can be involved. Like, what if you lose your bags, what if you miss a flight...but more importantly, what if you fall and hurt your arm or your leg? You want to be reimbursed for any kind of injuries you may have. So travel insurance is important, I advise everyone I know to purchase it,” Lara said.

Even though a ship may be outsailing a storm, that doesn’t mean you won’t run into some rougher than usual conditions. Lara says it’s a good idea to pack your sea-sickness meds before you board.

“Those products on the ship are going to be very expensive,” Lara said. “So, if it’s Dramamine or the patch behind the ear, maybe some Pepto Bismol just in case you get a little nauseous. But the technology on these ships, especially the large ones, like Icon of the Seas, Scarlet Lady, Oasis of the Seas, they have stabilizers to prevent the ship from going back and forth and up and down.”

As for having the best cruise time, Lara recommended-- contrary to popular belief-- try not to book your cruise at the last minute. Chances are, if you do that, all the best cabins will be booked up. And as always, just be aware of what’s happening with hurricane season and have a plan.
