UPDATE 03.08.23:  Verified Fan registration has been extended to Sunday, March 19 at 7PM PT/9PM CT/10PM ET. The Verified Fan Onsale will take place on Wednesday, March 22 at 3PM local venue time.

New shows announced in north america.

TWICE has announced TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ and is leveraging Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan technology to ensure more tickets get into the hands of fans.

We expect heavy demand for these shows, so getting your Ticketmaster account verified through Verified Fan will be critical to increasing your chances of getting tickets.

Verified Fan helps artists get more of their tickets into the hands of fans who want to go to the show, not buyers looking to resell them. When an artist chooses to use Verified Fan, we use a registration system to help filter out buyers looking to resell tickets for profit. And while it doesn’t guarantee that all Verified Fans will get tickets, it does significantly block bots and professional resellers from competing against fans for tickets during the sale. Access to the Verified Fan sale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Read on for information about how to secure your tickets for the Verified Fan Onsale.

How to Register for the Verified Fan Onsale

Note: The Tour Organizers will be making 100% of tickets for TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ available for purchase during the Verified Fan Onsale. Registering for the Verified Fan Onsale is your best chance at securing tickets.

If all tickets are purchased during the Verified Fan Onsale, there will not be a General Onsale.

Verified Fan Onsale

Here’s how the Verified Fan process works:

Step 1: Registration

To register for Verified Fan

  • Go to Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Registration page here .
  • Sign in using your Ticketmaster account; if you don’t have one, you can create one when you register. Be sure to register with the Ticketmaster account you wish to use on the day of the onsale.
  • Tell us what show(s) you’re interested in and submit your registration by 7PM PT / 9PM CT / 10PM ET on Sunday, March 19 to be considered.

From there, we’ll send you an email to confirm your registration was successful and provide details about what to expect next.

Step 2: Verification Next, Ticketmaster vets your request by confirming it belongs to an individual – not a bot – and that it hasn’t been tied to irregular behaviors that could be a sign of a professional seller attempting to access the sale for purposes of reselling tickets.

Step 3: Access Code or Waitlist When demand exceeds availability, a lottery-style process will determine which registered Verified Fans will receive a unique access code and which are put on the waitlist. You’ll receive an email the morning of the Verified Fan Onsale (once announced) letting you know which group you’re in.

  • Access Code: If you receive an access code, it will be sent via text message. It is unique to your account, and will not work if anyone else enters it – do not try to sell or trade your code.
  • Waitlist: If tickets remain, we may text you an access code to join the ticket sale. The lottery-style process will be used to determine who gets off the waitlist.

Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. So if you get a code, be sure to join the sale promptly for the best chance to get tickets.

Other important notes:

The Verified Fan Onsale date and time will be announced at a later date. When the onsale day comes, the Waiting Room will open 30 minutes before the sale begins. You may only join the Waiting Room using the same Ticketmaster account that you registered with.

When the sale begins, fans in the Waiting Room will be assigned a spot in line. When it is your turn, you must enter your access code exactly as it appears to access tickets.

Important Things to Know

Only fans who have been verified and receive an access code will have the opportunity to purchase tickets via the Verified Fan onsale.

Receiving an access code means that you’ll have the opportunity to buy tickets; however, the ability to purchase tickets is determined by supply and demand, and is not guaranteed. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.

Ticket Limits

  • Fans invited to the Verified Fan Onsale may purchase a maximum of four (4) tickets per access code.  Note that while you may purchase tickets for multiple shows using the same access code (i.e. 2 tickets for Show 1 and 2 tickets for Show 2), you cannot exceed four (4) tickets in total across the run of events.

Ticket Delivery

  • 100% of tickets will be delivered as SafeTix mobile tickets. To learn more about SafeTix click here .
  • Fans may easily transfer tickets between Ticketmaster accounts.
  • However, to help keep more tickets in the hands of fans, ticket purchases will not be available to view or transfer to friends and family from your Ticketmaster account until a date to be determined after the onsale.

Learn more about sending tickets to friends and family using Ticketmaster Ticket Transfer .

Shopping Tips

What device should i use to purchase tickets, can i sign in to the same ticketmaster account on multiple devices to shop, how many tabs can i have open at once.

You may only use multiple tabs on the same device when shopping for more than one show. As a reminder:

  • If you’d like to shop for tickets to multiple shows, you will need to join the Waiting Room for each one.
  • Please only join the Waiting Room once and only use one tab per show to reduce any delays.
  • Once you join the Waiting Room, do not close your page.

Is it true only one device is allowed per WiFi network and others will be blocked?

Can a group of us share the same wifi at someone's house/school/etc, can i use public or shared wifi, can we use the same credit card across two accounts for tickets, can i give or share my verified fan access code with friends or family, why do i see tickets available to purchase on another site before the verified fan sale has even happened, frequently asked questions, when is the verified fan registration period, can i register more than once to increase my chances of being verified, if i edit my registration more than once, will i be disqualified, are international fans able to register for verified fan, will my registration for verified fan work on purchases for twice shows outside of the us, i signed up for the verified fan onsale using my name, but i will be using someone else’s credit card since i do not have one. will that be an issue if my ticketmaster account name does not match the name of the card, i received a registration confirmation email, does that mean i will get tickets, when will i receive an email letting me know if i'll receive a unique access code or be placed on the waitlist.

Reminder: Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. So if you get a code, be sure to join the sale promptly at the time stated in your email for the best chance to get tickets. Please be aware that onsale start times will differ depending on the show you registered for, so make sure you make a note of the local time stated in your email.

When submitting my registration I received a six-digit authentication code from Ticketmaster. Can I use this code to purchase tickets during the Verified Fan sales?

Does registering mean i get a verified fan access code, does getting an access code mean i will get tickets, when is the onsale being held, whose id do i bring if i buy tickets on my ticketmaster account, but use my parent/guardian credit card to purchase a vip package.

TWICE

On June 10, Twice opened the North American leg of their worldwide “Ready to Be” tour in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium by defining its tagline: “We are ready to show you who we are, just as we are,” they announced, “As time goes [on], we are more comfortable being ourselves. Your love makes us super confident!”

Popular on Variety

With dedicated time slots for solo performances, each member gets their time to connect with audiences in a more personal way by performing covers or singing solo material. They unapologetically embrace and celebrate their femininity, also leaning into their sexuality for the first time with these displays. Momo shows off her pole dancing skills during a heated cover of Beyoncé’s “Move” while Chaeyoung delivers an original song and plays guitar. Nayeon also treated fans to her solo single called “Pop,” and Jihyo performed an unreleased song off her upcoming solo album.

TWICE performs at SoFi Stadium. pic.twitter.com/V0pWNuVae0 — Variety (@Variety) June 11, 2023

The show ends with a string of surprise songs that the crowd picks from a prize wheel. Judging by the degree of noise coming from the stadium, the girls chose to close the nearly three-hour-long set with singles “Doughnut,” “Basics,” and “Signal,” and spent the last minutes of the show at the foot of the stage, collecting sunflowers and blowing kisses.

Correction: A previous version of this article suggested Agust D had a part in Nayeon’s upcoming album. The artist’s reps have denied the collaboration and the piece has been amended.

TWICE Announces 1st Stadium Concert In U.S., Making Them Only The 2nd K-Pop Artist In History To Hold One

TWICE is returning to the United States for a historic concert!

Twice dances in formation onstage.

Twice fans, this is your year.

In fact, you may even be able to see the K-Pop girl group live more than, um, twice this year when they tour the world as part of their fifth World Tour “Ready To Be.”

After international dates in South Korea, Australia and Japan, the nine-member outfit lands in the U.S. for nine shows at stadiums, arenas and ballparks from June 10 through July 9 .

And listen up, New Yorkers and New Jerseyans — the hitmakers are stopping into East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium for a huge concert on July 6.

That will be a historic show too. The July 6 gig will be the the first time a K-pop girl group has ever headlined at the Giants’ and Jets’ home stadium.

Best of all, if you want to see Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu live this year, you can grab tickets as early as today .

Although the registration for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan On Sale Access goes until March 8, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before they’re officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

TWICE 5th WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’

View and download our full TWICE event guide by clicking here !

ONCE, ready for more TWICE? 2nd SHOW added at United Center on June 29!

The 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’’ promises to bring their signature high energy performance and a robust setlist of their chart-topping hits. TWICE’s 12th mini album, “READY TO BE,” was released on March 10.

Last year, TWICE completed their sold-out 4TH WORLD TOUR Ⅲ arena tour. These performances were a major milestone for the group, as made TWICE the first female K-Pop group to sell out two North American arena tours, as well as the first female K-Pop group to play a North American stadium. In August, they released their 11th EP, BETWEEN 1&2, which entered the Billboard 200 Album Chart at #3 and holds the biggest pure sales week for an album by a female K-Pop act in the US, further extending TWICE’s record for the most top 10 debuts on the chart among all K-Pop female acts. BETWEEN 1&2’s lead single “Talk that Talk” reached the top 20 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart, and top 10 on Billboard’s Global Excl. US chart, tying with “The Feels” as their highest charting single on the latter chart. They ended the year as the most-stream female K-Pop group on Spotify.

Most recently, TWICE released their second full English-language single, “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE” off their EP READY TO BE. The track debuted at #84 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned TWICE career high-placements on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart (#3) and both Spotify’s US Chart (#39) and Global Chart (#60).

TWICE talks record-breaking US tour, embracing change and an even 'more ambitious' future

twice north american tour

Since debut, TWICE has evolved not only as artists but as people. In the beginning, the members were unsure of what the future held, but the last almost nine years have proven to be full of excitement and opportunity.

The group debuted in 2015 and has since become one of the best-selling K-pop girl groups of all time. From chart-hitting music releases to high achievements, TWICE has cemented their spot as top global performers, and this momentum is not slowing down.

USA TODAY spoke with TWICE, using a Korean translator, during the U.S. leg of their READY TO BE tour about their growth over the years, what's next for the group and more.

READY TO BE tour made TWICE 'happy' and 'honored'

On June 10, TWICE embarked on the U.S. leg of their fifth world tour, "READY TO BE." The group has toured in the states before but this time broke records. TWICE became the first female K-pop group to headline MLB and NFL stadiums including SoFi Stadium and MetLife Stadium. Each venue has a concert capacity of over 50,000, and TWICE sold out both.

"We’re very honored," said the group's leader Jihyo.

Since the release of their latest EP, members said it's been very exciting. " READY TO BE " hit the Billboard 200 chart at No. 2 and now holds the biggest pure sales week for an album by a female K-pop act in the U.S. ,  with over 153,000 units sold and 10.28 million streams in its first week.

"I am very amazed and very honored that fans globally can recognize us," said Tzuyu. "They come to see us and love our songs."

New performances bring excitement on tour

In 2022, TWICE played sold-out arenas across the states on their fourth world tour. They also took on two encore performances at the BMO Stadium, making TWICE the first female K-Pop group to play a North American stadium.

This time around, the group wanted to try new things, said Dahyun. "We have a live band for the first time. We have our solos for the first time when we’re very used to doing things in units," she said.

The tour's setlist is filled with a variety of tracks from the group's extensive and lively discography. From the intro with " SET ME FREE " to the excitement of the encore roulette, each performance brought high energy and cheers from fans, who TWICE lovingly refer to as ONCE.

"ONCE completes all our stages and performances," said Dahyun. "Because ONCE is so good at responding and cheering, we are able to also enjoy the stages. Even though the lyrics are in Korean, foreign ONCE sing along to the songs so we are very happy and excited on stage."

Get to know more on the girl group: Here's a guide on TWICE's members, milestones and latest album

Growing since debut days

TWICE was initially formed on the competition show "Sixteen" in 2015. The reality show selected TWICE's final lineup out of 16 trainees. The group went on to debut with with “ Like OOH-AHH " in October 2015.

From their songs and styling to their strength and confidence, many things have developed for TWICE.

"As we become the older generation of K-pop girl group, we are able to perform in bigger and bigger stadiums," said Jeongyeon. "From that, we are able to recognize and see how much we have grown."

Their sound has also changed, said Jihyo, moving beyond the "bright songs" of their debut. "Ever since debut, we’ve been trying many different genres. We are able to prepare a lot of different performances and stages. We can be touching. We can be very cool. We can be cute. We can do a lot of these things."

Through the years, TWICE has become involved in the creative process, allowing them to showcase and highlight their personalities and identities.

"Nowadays, we are able to participate more in discussing about the concerts, albums, even writing our own songs and even the concepts about outfits, hair and makeup," said Dahyun.

Particularly in their performances, the members have further come into their own. "Since this is already our ninth year of being active as a girl group, I am able to have more fun on stage. I’m not as nervous anymore or anxious," said Tzuyu.

"In the beginning when we had our first concert, we were more nervous," said Momo. "These days, we are able to move more freely out and show the fans even more."

Mina and Sana shared similar sentiments on how preparation for performances has become smoother and more in sync over time. "Even though we don’t do as many run-throughs on our choreography practices, we are able to catch up and still have the details very fitting to each other," said Sana.

This has led a sense of joy for TWICE – a feeling of loving what they do. "As we continue to be active as a girl group, I am still able to stay very grateful and humble," said Chaeyoung.

This humble mentality resonates throughout TWICE as each member has a strong devotion to one another and ONCE in order to keep growing together.

"As we continue to have more experiences, I feel that responsibility on my shoulders," said Nayeon. "I feel more ambitious."

Understanding TWICE 'at heart'

With each release and each milestone met, TWICE has been able to refine their identity voice and crush stereotypes.

"We’re singers, not just people who do cute songs," said Jihyo. "As we went on, we were able to find more of ourselves and our identity more smoothly.

The group's most recent single "SET ME FREE" best exemplifies where TWICE is in their careers, said Dahyun.

"I feel that it’s a song that really talks about us right now in this stage where we feel like we’re not decorating ourselves or pretending to be someone else," she explained. "As time goes by, ONCE is really able to see TWICE just as we are."

TWICE has a deep love for ONCE

TWICE has immense dedication and respect for ONCE. The group credits their fans as the reason they love what they do.

"When I hear that ONCE felt very comforted and very encouraged, I feel very proud," said Nayeon. "We get so much energy from ONCE."

For the members, ONCE holds a special place in their hearts as they have spent almost a decade together. "When ONCE says, 'TWICE was in my youth days,' I feel very happy and satisfied," said Jeongyeon.

What's next for TWICE?

Though the U.S. tour has come to a close, there are plans on the horizon for TWICE.

"Recently, we’ve been doing more unit activities and solos," said Mina. "I want to keep making those memories and activities with ONCE from here and on."

This includes the subunit MISAMO (comprised of members Mina, Sana and Momo) whose debut EP is set for July 26 and Jihyo's solo debut set for Aug. 18.

TWICE hopes to continue to perform and meet more ONCE across the global.

"In the future, I want to go to places, countries I’ve never been to," said Momo.

When it comes to their music, TWICE will continue to expand and try new things. "Anything we haven’t done before, we’re willing to try and we want to try," said Nayeon.

"We have so many things we want to show," said Chaeyoung. "We will do our best, so please look forward to everything we have."

Nine-piece girl group TWICE concluded their sold out North American tour last weekend with a crowd-pleasing show in New York. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu performed a packed set-list that consisted of highlights from their latest album, Formula of Love: O+T=<3 , along with fan favorite hits like “What Is Love?” and “TT.”

This tour was particularly special for the group as it kicked off Jeongyeon’s return from a brief hiatus to focus on her mental health. Seeing their recent tracks performed as nine was a treat for fans, who turned out in droves to see their favorite group hit the stage.

The five-city, seven-show United States tour, dubbed the “4TH WORLD TOUR III,” took the group to Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth and Atlanta, in addition to New York. With this tour, TWICE became the first female K-pop group to sell out two North American arena tours. The group will next take their tour to Japan’s Tokyo Dome next month.

Rolling Stone has exclusive photos from the soundcheck and performance of TWICE’s closing show at the UBS Arena in New York.

TWICE

After reaching tens of thousands of fans on their first-ever North American tour earlier this year, TWICE will get even closer with their followers in a brand new way.

Billboard can exclusively reveal that JYP Entertainment and YouTube have partnered to produce a YouTube Originals docu-series starring TWICE, based around the North American leg of their 2019 TWICELIGHTS world tour. Even with this marking the group’s first time playing their own concerts in the West, the tour brought together a reported 41,000 fans across its Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark and Chicago dates this summer.

Described as “unlike anything released by TWICE before,” the series promises exclusives, in-depth interviews and analyses, as well as an “intimate and personal portrayal of all of TWICE’s members.” Viewers will also get a look into the group’s four-year journey and how they’ve risen to become a new leader in K-pop with No. 1s across  Billboard ‘s World Albums and  World Digital Song Sales charts .

TWICE Begin First U.S. Tour With Openness & Understanding of Mental Health

Trending on billboard.

While YouTube Originals previously worked with K-pop boy bands, this new venture with TWICE will be the first time the award-winning series has teamed with a K-pop girl group.

TWICE’s YouTube Originals series is currently in production and fans can look forward to its release in the first half of 2020.
