Las Vegas Buffet Do’s and Don’ts

If you’re on a budget, you may want to avoid weekend dinners at the higher-end buffets. When money is a concern, try a late brunch, especially during the week. The food options are mostly the same as dinner, but the prices are much lower.

  • DO arrive early to avoid long lines
  • DO make reservations for some of the buffets like Bacchanal
  • DO try food items you don’t normally eat
  • DO tip your waiter
  • DON’T expect the higher-end buffets to be cheaper than eating at a normal restaurant.
  • DON’T worry about eating too much – it’s VEGAS!

12 Best Buffets in Las Vegas: Menu, Hours & Prices 2024

Las Vegas is home to premier buffets like the Bacchanal Buffet and budget-friendly AYCE like the Garden Buffet at South Point Casino. Whether you are looking for the widest variety of dishes or the most extravagant dishes, Vegas got you covered.

If money is no object, then head into the $80 Bacchanal Buffet, which features over 250 dishes. On the other hand, if you want to save a few bucks then the South Point Casino got you covered with Vegas’ most affordable buffet, priced at $18 per person. For unique specials, try the Wynn Seafood Buffet or Palms Resort’s popular Prime Rib & Snow Crab Dinners.

So, to give you the lowdown on what’s currently available, here’s our guide to the best Las Vegas buffets including the most diverse, best-reviewed, award-winners, and locals’ favorites.

Vegas Buffets – A Little Background

The tradition of Las Vegas buffets began in the 1940s as a way for casinos to provide as much food as possible to their esteemed gamblers while enticing them enough to keep spending on the floor. Why spend money on fine dining when you can save up on a buffet and spend more on the crabs table.

The blueprint came from El Rancho’s Buckaroo Buffet, essentially a chuckwagon where gamblers could eat as much as they wanted for no more than a dollar.

From these humble beginnings evolved the modern Vegas buffet, characterized by elegant or outlandish décor, vibrant open kitchens and counters heaving under the weight of juicy cuts of meat, enticing seafood, irresistible desserts and myriad dishes from around the world.

Buffets used to exist for all budgets, and often, they were run at a loss by the casinos as a way of enticing gamblers through their doors and onto the betting floors.

In the past, Vegas had almost a total of 70 buffets but that number has greatly shrunk over the decades to the current less-than-20 open buffets. Some of the reasons for this include the amount of food that goes to waste, impracticality of offering fresh foods every day at a large scale, and the hygiene standpoint.

It’s becoming apparent that many buffets have been lost forever since money is now being invested only where it guarantees a return, but some buffets, especially those in the biggest and most famous casinos, are tentatively keeping their doors open.

So now let’s look at the vanguard of buffets that are already open for business.

Buffets on The Strip

The upscale and high-end buffet offerings in Vegas are located on the Strip, so if you are looking for the cheapest options, this is not where you should start.

However, this is the place to be for the most exciting offerings including international dishes and exquisite presentations!

Bacchanal Buffet, Caesars Palace

Bacchanal Buffet

When the extravagant Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace first opened in 2012, it was intended to be the buffet to end all buffets, and no expense was spared in its creation.

In 2020, Bacchanal’s management took advantage of the enforced closure to give the buffet a $2.4m makeover, and now that it’s back, arguably better than ever.

As before, Bacchanal boasts ten kitchens, and nine live-action cooking stations, and showcases a constantly evolving range of food from around the world, featuring Mexican, Italian, Asian, and American cuisines.

Opening times and prices

Bacchanal is open for dinner every day and also offers brunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Opening times and prices are as follows:

**All You Care to Drink is an unlimited drink package that includes draft beer, house, wine, champagne, and mimosas. All non-alcoholic drinks are included in the Bacchanal Buffet price.

Reservations

Reservations are available through www.opentable.com . It is possible to get in without a reservation, but booking is advisable. During peak times especially, it can be all but impossible to get a table without a reservation.

Look out for

The roving carts serving a dim sum selection are an exciting addition since the reopening. Also on offer are wagyu hotdogs, grilled baby octopus, crab legs and street tacos, to name but a few.

Time at the buffet is limited to 90 minutes – this is less than the two hours usually permitted at most Vegas buffets.

A.Y.C.E. Buffet, Palms Casino Resort

A.Y.C.E. Buffet

Palms Casino Resort is known for having some of the most expensive, luxurious rooms and some of the most exclusive games floors in town, but the Palms A.Y.C.E. Buffet is a surprisingly affordable, great-value all-you-can-eat option.

It has space to seat up to 250 diners and features seven different food stations that promise to take you – and your taste buds – on a journey around the world.

The different sections include World Pan, Revival, The Greenery, The Roastery, The Hearth, Smoke & Fire and Sweet & Light.

Dishes are grouped by how they are prepared rather than their country of origin, and each station serves a range of lovingly created and beautifully presented dishes representing the best of American and international cuisine.

This buffet may have taken a little longer to return after the covid-enforced closures than some of the others.

However, as of April 2022, it’s open and ready to welcome diners back for weekday breakfasts, weekend brunches and daily dinners, giving you another excellent option for a classic Vegas buffet.

Weekly specials at the Palms buffet include lobster dinners on Wednesday and Thursday, prime rib & snow crab on Friday nights, and brunch buffets daily with bottomless mimosas.

Children’s rates are for those aged 3-11 – ages 12 and above pay full price. Children below 3 eat for free.

Here are the hours of operation and prices:

Lobster is the star of the show. Only available on Wednesday and Thursday, the lobster dinner is the most expensive buffet on the menu. Combine this with the Friday prime rib & snow crab dinner and you have yourself an award-winning buffet.

On regular brunches and dinners, the carvery has a wide selection of cuts that will go down well with dedicated meat-eaters, fans of seafood should look out for the piles of delicious shrimp, and those with a sweet tooth will want to head straight for the Sweet & Light area.

But of course, there’s so much more to discover for yourself, which is a big part of the fun!

Circus Buffet, Circus Circus

This buffet is not a cheap-eats buffet but is at the more affordable end of the scale, Circus Circus’ buffet is now open again post-pandemic. Renowned more for its fair prices rather than the high quality or wide variety of its fare, this is a good option for those who want to experience a Vegas buffet without breaking the bank.

Circus Circus currently offers a breakfast/brunch/lunch sitting and a dinner sitting. The price for the early sitting is the same throughout, so it is just referred to as “brunch”, but the “lunch” food items appear at 11 am. Here are the times and prices:

Tips For Making the Most of Your Time in a Buffet

When you go to a Vegas buffet, you need to have the right strategy to make the most of everything that’s on offer to you, especially in the more expensive restaurants. Here are a few suggestions that will help ensure you have the best experience.

  • Don’t fill up on rice, bread or potatoes

When making your way around the various kitchens and counters in a buffet, avoid filling up on things like rice, bread, potatoes and pasta, since these foods will quickly kill your appetite. This goes for pizza too.

Instead, prioritize things like meat, seafood and other similar dishes to allow yourself to taste all the most delicious food items.

  • Take a little of everything and then go back for more

At a large buffet like Bacchanal, for example, you probably won’t be able to sample all the food that’s on offer, but try to taste a bit of everything you can.

Take a small amount of as many items as possible – and then come back for second helpings of your favorite dishes afterwards.

  • Don’t drink too much soda or beer

When you have unlimited drinks, it can be tempting to guzzle down glass after glass. However, this is not a good strategy since all that liquid – not to mention the bubbles – will quickly fill you up.

If you want to drink alcohol, wine is a smarter idea simply because you’ll probably drink less of it in terms of volume. For those who want to drink beer or soda, go easy on the drinks until you’re done eating – and then feel free to drink as much as you like!

  • Work up a hunger

If you know you’re going to a buffet later, eat lighter meals earlier in the day – or simply skip them altogether. Make sure you work up a good appetite, and don’t spoil the experience by filling up just a few hours before.

  • Be adventurous

When you’re in the buffet, you’ll probably be confronted by many exotic foods, some of which you might not recognize.

However, you should resist the temptation just to fill up on familiar dishes you can order anytime – instead, try to be adventurous and sample some of the things you don’t usually eat.

The Buffet of Buffets

In the past, the “ Buffet of Buffets ” pass entitled you to visit five buffets during a 24-hour period. The pass was time-stamped, allowing you to eat all you could manage in the five participating restaurants during the allotted time. The buffets included were:

  • Flavors Buffet, Harrah’s
  • Paradise Garden Buffet, The Flamingo
  • Le Village Buffet, Paris
  • Spice Market Buffet, Planet Hollywood
  • Carnival World Buffet , Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino

In addition, it was also possible to pay an upgrade fee to gain entrance to Caesars Palace’s Bacchanal Buffet.

However, since none of these buffets is operating at present (with the exception of Bacchanal), the Buffet of Buffets pass is currently unavailable.

Keep a look out in future to find out if and when this deal returns.

Taxes and Tips in Vegas

Note that all the prices quoted in this post are exclusive of taxes and tips. Tax in restaurants in Las Vegas is set at 8.38%, and tips are at the diner’s discretion, with 15-20% being normal.

Final Thoughts

The tradition of Vegas buffets, dating back to the 1940s, remains alive, albeit in a more selective form. While the number of buffets has decreased over the decades, the quality and variety of offerings have only improved.

Whether you’re indulging in a sumptuous seafood spread at the Bellagio or enjoying the down-to-earth charm of the Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station, each buffet offers a unique dining experience that contributes to the vibrant tapestry of culinary delights in Las Vegas. As the city continues to evolve, so too will its buffets.

This is the most comprehensive and current list I have seen and I truly appreciate it. We will be planning a trip this summer and we will be checking this page regularly as we get closer. We would love to see the Buffet of Buffets come back!

As far as buffets coming back it is a wise decision. The majority of people I know frequent casinos that have a buffet. I actually only gamble at casinos with a buffet. It’s a choice I have no reason to change. Thumbs up and many more days of gambling and eating at casinos with buffets as I also bring all visitors to these also.

I don’t visit Vegas as much as I use to because most of the buffets are gone. I enjoyed Paris buffet, Mirage and Flavors they were reasonably priced if kids are with you.

The 5 Best Buffets in Las Vegas in 2024

Jessica Nemire Last Updated: September 26, 2023

Eating at a buffet is a quintessential “Vegas” thing to do. But with so many buffets and some obvious quality issues, it may be hard to choose. Here are the top buffets in Vegas by a Vegan (local from Vegas)!

Pro tip: Check out our list of the best hotels in Vegas because these hotels turn over each year, and no two locations are created equal.

The Top 5 Buffets You Have To Try in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a place of indulgence. Sin City is known for being full of extravagant hotels, mind-blowing shows, and all things opulent. All-you-can-eat buffets are no exception! This short list of Vegas’ best buffets was created based on quality, variety, and value for the price. We also have a few honorable mentions at the bottom of the list if you’re still hungry.

Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace

best buffets in las vegas

$$$$ | Nine Kitchens | Pool Views | Newly Renovated

Located inside Caesar’s Palace, this is easily one of the most famous buffets in Las Vegas. With nine kitchens and three rooms, it’s also the biggest one. Bacchanal Buffet serves Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, sushi, and classic American favorites, as well as many others foods. It also has plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, as well as an extensive dessert section. Bacchanal Buffet is also well-known for their brunch menu, which includes a juice bar and build-your-own-parfait station. They also have mimosas and other drinks, with all-you-can-drink available for an additional price. We suggest making a reservation, since there are often long lines here. Hours: Friday though Sunday from 9 am – 3 pm for brunch; Daily, 4 pm – 10 pm for dinner Price: Adults $54.99 – $74.99; kids $27.50 – $37.50 Address: 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas

Garden Buffet at South Point Hotel Casino & Spa

buffet tour las vegas

$$ | Affordable Choice | Amazing Service | Wide Variety of Cuisines

About a 15-minute drive from the south end of the Strip, South Point Hotel Casino & Spa is known for its affordable rooms, large array of amenities, and wide restaurant selection. Among the most popular of its restaurants is the Garden Buffet, which is even a hit among locals because of its affordability.

Although it may not be the absolute most delicious meal you will ever have in Las Vegas, you can choose from a wide variety of cuisines for a very budget-friendly price. Plus, the service is quick and friendly, which makes for a great experience. Inside the Garden Buffet, you can find seafood, Chinese, Mexican, pasta, a salad bar, a large dessert selection, and even a carving station. They also serve drinks that are budget-friendly as well. Where else can you get a Bloody Mary for $2?! This buffet also has an amazing breakfast deal from 7 am to 10 am, Monday to Friday, which includes bottomless Bloody Marys. For those looking for a buffet experience that’s less expensive than the ones on the Strip, the Garden Buffet at South Point is the way to go. Reservations aren’t required, but there may be a long line, so we suggest heading there early.

Hours: Daily, 7 am – 9 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 8 am – 9 pm Price: Adults $13.95 – $25.95; kids half-price Address: 9777 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas

Wicked Spoon

best buffets in las vegas

$ $ $ | Upscale Buffet | Great Service | Unique Options

Located inside of the Cosmopolitan, Wicked Spoon prides itself on adding a “twist on the traditional buffet.” It’s open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch only, so there is no dinner service.

Wicked Spoon is best-known for its crab legs, fried chicken, and gelato! Oh, and the fried chicken. Please note that if you or anyone in your party doesn’t eat meat or dairy, there are limited options here. And since you’re in Vegas, so you may want a drink or two! Wicked Spoon has bottomless drink packages available for $21 per person on top of the buffet price. In terms of the food, we love the quick service and wide variety of items that aren’t usually included in a buffet. (When’s the last time you went to a buffet with gelato?!)

It can get very busy, and the line is typically pretty long. Make sure to arrive as early as possible! Hours: 8 am – 4 pm, daily Price: Adults $38 – $45; kids $19 – $25 Address: The Chelsea Tower, 3708 S Las Vegas Blvd Level 2, Las Vegas

The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas

best buffets in Las Vegas

$ $ | Great For Seafood | Photo-Worthy Decor | 16 Cooking Stations | Vegan Friendly

We love the fun decorations inside of this buffet, as well as the wide selection of cuisine options. The Buffet at Wynn boasts 16 cooking stations, where you can watch your meal being cooked in front of you! It’s best-known for its seafood selection, including the famed Dungeness crab.

They also have snow crab legs served both cold and hot. Seafood aside, this buffet is also popular for its tasty pizza, desserts, taco bar, and new eggs Benedict station for breakfast. The buffet also has some options for vegan guests, particularly in the dessert section. Non-dairy eaters love the vegan ice cream and vegan chocolate chip cookies! Like many other popular Vegas buffets, there is frequently a long line, so reservations are recommended. We also suggest you try to arrive as early as possible!

Hours: 8 am – 9 pm daily, closed Tuesday and Wednesday Price: Adults $38.99 – $64.99; kids half price Address: 3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas

Jjanga Steak and Sushi

buffet tour las vegas

$ $ | Japanese Restaurant | All-You-Can-Eat Sushi | Fast and Tasty

While it’s not a traditional buffet, it felt wrong to leave out one of the most famous all-you-can-eat sushi places in Vegas. Besides, Jjanga was recently voted best sushi in Vegas, so we think it belongs here!

Jjanga’s extensive menu has something for everyone, including gluten-free options. They also have inventive items such as sushi burritos, which are included in the all-you-can-eat deal. Their menu is separated into veggie rolls, spicy rolls, non-spicy rolls, and rolls without rice. We love this because it makes it extra easy to know what you’re ordering!

Like almost every restaurant on this list, Jjanga’s is extremely popular, so expect a bit of a line. If you want an affordable all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant while in Vegas, Jjanga’s is the way to go!

Hours: Friday and Saturday, 11:30 am – 2 am; Sunday – Thursday, 11:30 am – 1 am Price: Adults $24.95 for lunch; $29.95 for other times Address: 6125 S Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas

If you’re still looking for a few other buffets that didn’t make our list, you can also check out the buffet at Excalibur , MGM Grand , the Luxor , and the Bellagio .

Las Vegas HowTo

2024 Las Vegas Buffets

Looking for a place to eat? We have put together a list of Las Vegas Buffets that are currently open. If there is one thing Las Vegas is known for (besides gambling, shopping and entertainment) it's the wide selection of buffets. Las Vegas buffets have long been an integral part of the Vegas experience. The city famous for some of the most lavish, eye-popping and belt-busting buffets saw over 40 buffets ceased operations since 2020.

Today, a few Las Vegas buffets made a come back as some major resorts started adapting the concept of culinary destinations (Food Halls). These Las Vegas food courts are not replacements for buffets but a great place to grab breakfast or lunch on-the-go. Below is a list of some of the best Las Vegas Buffets currently open.

Las Vegas Buffets currently open

  • Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace - (Strip)
  • The Buffet at Bellagio - (Strip)
  • Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan - (Strip)
  • The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas - (Strip)
  • MGM Grand Buffet - (Strip)
  • The Buffet at Excalibur - (Strip)
  • Circus Circus Buffet - (Strip)
  • The Buffet at Luxor - (Strip)
  • Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station - (Downtown)
  • Garden Buffet at South Point - (Off Strip)
  • Fresh Buffet at Westgate Las Vegas - (Off Strip)
  • Market Place Buffet at Rampart Casino - (Off Strip)
  • A.Y.C.E. Buffet at the Palms Casino Resort - (Off Strip)

For what you'll be paying for your meal, here are some things to keep in mind when you are at a Las Vegas buffet:

Keep the side dishes to a minimum. Things like potatoes, bread and rice will take up space quickly. Even vegetables. You probably hear "Eat your vegetables!" in your dreams, but this is Vegas, baby! You can do that when you get back home. Right now, go for the seafood, prime ribs and steak. Yum!

Keep drinks to a minimum. Yes, it's nice to be able to drink as much fizz as you want but carbonated drinks take up much needed space too. If you want to get your money's worth of food, take a few sips now and then while you're eating. When you're done, and you know you're not going back for more food, that's the time to enjoy the fizz to your heart's content. If you have any more space, that is.

To get the most out of your Las Vegas buffet experience, sample everything. Take a little bit of each and every item, take note of what you like, and then indulge in those things on your next few rounds. There's nothing like knowing you've tried everything, EVERYTHING, the buffet has to offer.

Want to save some money? Then consider limiting yourself to one meal. Skip breakfast and have a big lunch. It will see you through to the next morning. Or have a light breakfast somewhere else, skip lunch, and then have a big dinner.

Whatever you decide to do, remember that you're on vacation. Forget dieting and enjoy guilt-free meals. Bon appétit!

Here is a list of Las Vegas buffets currently open, along with meal times and Las Vegas buffet prices. Please note that some of these buffets have a dining time limit and prices are subject to change.

Most buffets are FREE for Child 4 or younger. 5 and up pay full price.

Aroma latin american cocina review, where and how to use 24-hour buffet passes in las vegas.

Vegas isn’t just about the casinos – it’s also home to some of the country’s best food. Buffets in Las Vegas almost have as much of a reputation as the slot machines themselves.

Many hotels and restaurants in the city offer buffets. And, given the range of cuisines, there’s something for everyone.

What Is a Buffet Pass?

A buffet pass is what it sounds like – a pass to visit certain buffets as often as you like. As you might expect, dining at each venue independently would cost a fortune. Buffet passes help alleviate the burden on your wallet if you’re a frequent buffet diner.

Who Offers Buffet Passes In Las Vegas?

Despite COVID-19-related closures, many restaurants still offer buffet passes. Most are “all-day,” which means you have 24 hours to use them before they expire.

Aria Buffet

Aria , which serves a variety of all-American cuisine, offers an all-day buffet pass for $60. Compared to paying for individual meals, it provides exceptional value. Adults pay $29.99 for breakfast, $29.99 for lunch, and $40.99 for dinner – nearly double the pass’s price tag.

Luxor Buffet

Luxor  offers all-day buffet passes for a slightly lower price of $49.99. Its operating hours are Wednesday to Sunday between 8 am and 3 pm, with delectable brunch menus and a carving station at lunchtime.

Excalibur Buffet

Excalibur,  one of the most well-known casinos in town, also offers buffet passes. This all-day wristband entitles you to food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner and allows you to eat until 10 pm on the selected day.

The saving is around $15.48 compared to the total price of each meal bought separately.

24-Hour Buffet Rules

You’re allowed to visit the buffets as many times as you like, going to all of them if you should see fit. Caesars will give you a wristband to show that you’ve paid, or if you have a Total Rewards Card with a photo ID, you can use this instead. Caesars’s Total Rewards Members get a reduced price of $59.99 on weekdays and $69.99 on weekends.

There are no discounts for kids, and only food and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price. You must pay for this separately at the bar if you want liquor.

Holiday prices are slightly higher. If you are Caesar’s reward member, you can get a pass for $89.99, and non-members must pay the full $99.99.

In almost all situations and seasons, buying the Buffet of Buffets Pass is worth it, and it’s cheaper than buying all your meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – separately.

Plus, if you are Caesar’s member, you get an additional $10 off the cost, whether you go during the week, at the weekend, or some other time.

Caesars also offer additional discounts on the Buffet of Buffets Pass if you buy one of their Hotel Room & Buffet packages. These apply to people booking stays of two nights or more at the hotel and work out considerably cheaper than paying separately.

How To Make The Most Of Your 24-Hour Buffet Pass

The best time to buy a pass is just before you go and sit down for dinner. This way, you can get dinner the next day too, so long as you arrive at the restaurant slightly earlier.

You can also tour the various buffet options according to which offers the best value at any given mealtime, provided you have the Buffet of Buffets Pass.

For instance, you could go to Rio for breakfast, chow down at Planet Hollywood for lunch and then head over to Paris Las Vegas for a delicious dinner.

Don’t forget to pace yourself. Avoid overeating at breakfast and brunch so that you can enjoy lunch and dinner more.

The Best Buffets on the Las Vegas Strip

buffet tour las vegas

One of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas strip is actually their buffets, as this city has become world famous for its excellent self-service food options.

This post provides tips on where you can find some of the best buffets in the city, including suggestions for the best food to get at each location.

  • Cheapest Buffets
  • Breakfast Buffets
  • Brunch Buffets
  • Dinner Buffets

What are the Cheapest Buffets in Las Vegas?

This list will cover a few of the cheapest buffet restaurants in Las Vegas.

Prices range from $15 - $35 per person on average, and several locations are open late. If you want to get the most out of your meal, make sure to come hungry!

NOTE: Prices for children are typically around 50% off at most buffets.

1) Garden Buffet

9777 Las Vegas Blvd South Las Vegas, NV 89183

This is another very affordable and family-friendly option located at the South Point Casino. Visitors can look forward to a wide variety of cuisine including Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and even Mongolian dishes.

Even though the Garden Buffet is less expensive than their competitors, they still offer excellent meal options including those listed below:

  • Eggs Benedict
  • French Toast

Their 7 am to 10 am breakfast deal offers a never miss bottomless Bloody Marys.

Breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner are all offered daily from 7 am - 9 pm, and prices range from $16.95 - $49.95 depending on when you arrive. They also offer a champagne brunch with bottomless mimosas on weekends from 8 am - 3 pm for $28.95 .

As with other locations, you’ll have about 2 hours to eat as much as you want while you’re here.

2) Excalibur Buffet

3850 S. Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89109

As the name implies, this buffet is located at the Excalibur Casino & Resort. Unlike other locations, they exclusively offer brunch daily from 8 am - 3 pm. If you’re looking for a good place to get dinner, you might want to consider another buffet.

Prices are on the lower end, and they have a lot of the same popular dishes you’ll find at more expensive locations, including some of the following options:

  • Beef Birria
  • Smoked Brisket
  • Rotisserie Chicken

If you visit on a weekday (Monday - Thursday), this buffet will be just $28.99 . However, the price increases to $31.99 during weekends (Friday - Sunday). While it’s not the most extensive service, this is certainly one of the most affordable buffets in Las Vegas.

You’ll have about 2 hours to eat all you can at the Excalibur Buffet.

3) Buffet at Luxor

3900 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Located at the Luxor, this option is a lot like the Excalibur Buffet in that they only offer brunch from 8 am - 3 pm. While that makes this a bad choice for dinner, they do have a lot of popular American dishes.

In addition to a 30-foot salad bar, they also have a homemade pizza station and each of the following meal options:

  • Slow Roasted Beef
  • Baked French Pastries
  • Sugar Free Desserts

Although they are only open for brunch, this buffet offers an all you can drink package for just $14.99 which includes bottomless mimosas, wine, and bloody mary cocktails.

Unlike other Las Vegas buffets, this location is not open on a daily basis. They actually close their doors on Tuesday and Wednesday, but to be fair, not many people are likely to visit on those weekdays.

Prices start at $28.99 on Monday and Thursday or $31.99 from Friday - Sunday.

4) Circus Buffet

And just like those “parrotheads,” Jimmy Buffett has been travelin’ the world, soakin’ up the good vibes and jammin’ to some good tunes. Life is a party for Buffett, and who could blame him? Hits like “Margaritaville,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and “Too Drunk to Karaoke” basically guarantees a killer time. And if that doesn’t work (which it will) the never ending sea of Hawaiian shirts, extra tall margarita glasses and pre-game tailgate parties that spring up before the show will definitely get you in the island spirit.

This whole “parrothead” thing sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Where can we sign up when he's in Vegas?

The French Market Buffet is the premiere Las Vegas buffet, located in The Orleans hotel. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 8AM to 9PM, the French Market Buffet offers some of the best food in Las Vegas at some of the cheapest prices. One of the things that help to make this buffet so excellent is the abundance of live action food stations. Rather than tossing some food in warmers you will see chefs prepare the food you want and many of them will cook it just the way you want it prepared.

Las Vegas Buffet of Buffets Pass

Las Vegas Buffet of Buffets Pass

Important Note:   With a few exceptions, such as the Bacchanal Buffet , many Las Vegas Strip buffets are still closed because of the Covid-19 pandemic, so The Buffet of Buffets pass is not currently available . We will update this page when it can be purchased again.

Attention buffet lovers. If you ever wanted to try a bunch of Vegas buffets during your trip, this offer is for you! The Buffet of Buffets Pass is available at the following participating Vegas buffets:

  • Caesars Palace : Bacchanal Buffet (requires upgrade: $25 brunch/lunch and $35 dinner)
  • Flamingo : Paradise Garden Buffet
  • Harrah’s : Flavors The Buffet
  • Paris Las Vegas : Le Village Buffet
  • Planet Hollywood : Spice Market Buffet
  • Rio : Carnival World and Seafood Buffet (requires $25 upgrade)

Pass prices starts at $69.99 plus tax per person and are valid for a 24-hour period from when you initially purchase it. The Bacchanal at Caesars Palace and the Rio seafood buffet require an upgrade listed above, but in our opinion, it is well worth it (Bacchanal is one of our favorite Vegas buffets ). Weekend prices are $79.99 ($99.99 on holidays). It is good for as many visits as you like during buffet business hours within that 24-hour period.

You will be given a special wristband for entry, or you can use your Total Rewards card with photo ID if you are a member. Total Rewards Members can purchase the buffet of buffets pass for a reduced price of $59.99 weekdays and $69.99 on weekends.

Passes can be purchased at participating Total Rewards Centers, or just go to the cashier stands at any of the participating buffets to buy them. Caesars may offer a free buffet of buffet pass when you book a room, but it is subject to availability and seasonal. Las Vegas Direct also offers great hotel buffet deals.

Buffet of Buffet customers must still wait in the regular buffet lines which can be long. However, you can also purchase an Express Line Pass to enter through the VIP entrances. Express line passes are only available for a single buffet location.

Only food and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the program. Sorry, but kids don’t get any discounts.

Buffet of Buffet Pass Tips: If you purchase a pass just before dinner, it will be good for a full 24 hours, giving you two dinner buffets, which is a good deal.

In order to avoid long waiting times, try going during off-days and hours. Monday-Thursday will be less busy. Go towards the end of lunch, like before 3 pm. This also lets you take advantage of sampling both lunch and dinner items if you stay long enough as they switch over the buffet. Likewise, you can go for a late breakfast (10 am) and enjoy lunch items once they change to it.

Pace yourself! We tried the pass, but could barely get in three buffets in the 24 hours because we “over did it” at the start. You can always go back to a buffet you like later to try more items you really enjoy. Go for small samples at the different buffet so you can experience as many items as possible. Do some research first, such as reading online buffet reviews about the different buffets so you know what items to try first and perhaps which ones to avoid.

The Buffet of Buffets Pass: Discontinued

' src=

Since many of the buffets in the pass are closed and have no plans of reopening, The Buffet of Buffets Pass is not available currently. Please check out all buffets open in Las Vegas right now.

One of the best things about a trip to Vegas is all the fantastic food! It seems like every hotel and resort offers its own buffet. From prime rib to sushi and breakfast to dessert, Vegas buffets have something for everyone. If you’re not careful, you could end up spending a fortune trying to hit them all. The Buffet of Buffets pass is a sweet deal that gets you unlimited access to five different buffets in Las Vegas within a 24-hour period.

How Much Does the Vegas Buffet of Buffets Pass Cost and How Does It Work?

A Buffet of Buffets 24 Hour Pass gives you access to the participating buffets for as many visits as you like during a 24-hour period that starts when you buy the pass.

Hours for the Buffet of Buffets Pass

In general, most of the buffets are open from 7AM until 10 PM, but the hours for each buffet will vary by day and location (See our chart of buffet hours ). You will still have to wait in line at each buffet to get a buffet receipt from the cashier unless you purchase an Express Line Pass separately at each location.

Where Can I Buy a Vegas Buffet of Buffets Pass?

You can buy a Buffet of Buffets Pass at the cashier station of any of the participating buffets or at participating Total Rewards Centers.

Ways to Save on the Buffet of Buffets Pass

  • If you’re a Caesars member , you save $10 on the cost of the pass.
  • You can also buy a Hotel Room & Buffet Package that comes with free 2 Buffet of Buffets passes. You must be booked for two or more nights at one of the participating hotels to get this deal. Coupon Code: IMCBF

Is Buffet of Buffets Worth It?

Absolutely! Let’s say you had the breakfast buffet at Paris Las Vegas for $21.99, the lunch buffet for $24.99, and the dinner buffet for $30.99. In this scenario, you’ve already spent about $78 for only 3 meals at the same buffet. You could have saved about $18 by purchasing the pass, and you should be able to squeeze in a fourth meal, too (more on that below).

Insider Strategies to Help You Get the Most from Your Buffet of Buffets Pass

Here are some strategies to help you get the most for your money.

  • Purchase your Buffet of Buffets pass at dinner time right at the door to the restaurant as you’re going in. This way, you can get two dinners on the same pass. Have dinner at 7PM the first day and make sure you’re through the cashier’s station for dinner before 7PM the second day.
  • Hit the most expensive buffets to get the most for your money. That means Rio for breakfast, Planet Hollywood for lunch, and Paris for dinner. That’s a $75 value for your $60 pass, not including a second dinner if you time things right.
  • If you want to try every buffet, you could go from buffet to buffet and just have your favorite things from each. Try some crab legs at Planet Hollywood, BBQ at Harrah’s, and dessert at Paris… you get the idea. This strategy will take more time, but it’s a good way to get the most for your money.

What Buffets are Included in the Buffet of Buffets Pass?

There are four buffets included in the purchase price of your pass. You can upgrade your Buffet of Buffets pass to get access to Caesars Palace Bacchanal Buffet and Rio Carnival World & Seafood Buffet. Here are the details:

Flamingo Las Vegas: Paradise Garden Buffet

The Paradise Garden Buffet puts out a fabulous brunch buffet that’s available from open to close every day. Breakfast offerings include everything from made to order omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and crepes. If you are more in the mood for lunch, there’s a complete salad bar, mouthwatering burgers, and Cajun and Southern-inspired dishes. Or, hit the BBQ dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday nights from 5-10pm. The BBQ buffet features classic American favorites like smoked beef brisket, crab legs, slow-roasted prime rib, and Louisiana seafood boil. Don’t’ forget to save room for an amazing dessert or two!

Planet Hollywood: Spice Market Buffet

The lavish Spice Market Buffet takes you on a world tour all in one meal. You’ll find delicacies from the Middle East and the Mediterranean as well as Mexican, Italian, Asian, and American selections to please every member of your group. There are even some delicious vegetarian options, including two full salad bars, grilled vegetables, and hummus. Some of the most popular menu items are the stuffed seafood sole and the Tandoori skewers. There are plenty of tantalizing desserts to end your meal, like cotton candy, cakes, and cookies.

Harrah’s Las Vegas: Flavors Buffet

If you can’t decide what you’re hungry for, this is the buffet for you! The Flavors Buffet has an endless selection that will please everyone in your party. Choose from pizzas from a wood-burning oven, Brazilian BBQ, Italian casseroles, and fire-roasted rotisserie chicken. There are lots of options for the seafood lover in your group, too. Seafood offerings include succulent shrimp, hand-rolled sushi, and crab legs. The dessert area is especially good with everything from Oreo mousse tarts, mini crème Brulee, and a chocolate fountain with tons of yummy options for dipping.

Paris Las Vegas: Le Village Buffet

If you want a little romance on your vacation, The Le Village Buffet is just what you need. This buffet features Paris-inspired dishes in a romantic French village setting with your choice of outdoor seating or cozy indoor seating by the fireplace. Don’t miss dishes include truffle mac and cheese, penne alla puttanesca, and delicate crepes with customizable fillings. If you prefer good old-fashioned American grub, the massive soup and salad bar, prime rib, and snow crab legs will fit the bill nicely.

Rio: Carnival World & Seafood Buffet

This buffet has a casual atmosphere that’s perfect for families and offerings include more than 300 selections from around the world. You’ll find everything from pizza to omelets and Mexican to Japanese specialties for every taste. Choose from a variety of more than 70 different desserts that include homemade pies, cakes, pastries, and house-made gelato.

Requires a Buffet of Buffets Upgrade:

Caesars palace: bacchanal buffet.

When a buffet has been voted as the Best Buffet in Las Vegas over and over again, you know it’s got to be good. Bacchanal Buffet is a classic buffet that serves hundreds of dishes every day that are created by specialized chefs. You’ll want to fill your plate up with things like rosemary marinated tri-tip, dry-rubbed smoked spare ribs, prime rib, chilled crab legs, and oysters. Popular dishes include mini salads and handmade dim sum. Be sure you don’t miss the made-to-order lava cakes and homemade gelato for dessert. This buffet requires a $15 upgrade for breakfast, $25 upgrade for brunch, a $35 upgrade for dinner, and a $45 upgrade for the holidays, but it’s well worth it! Check out our full review on the Bacchanal .

The Buffet of Buffets Pass is a great deal. With a bit of planning, you can get four all-you-can-eat meals for about the price of one buffet dinner in Vegas. How can you beat that?

Hi…is the Buffet of Buffets pass currently available…we are planning to visit in December, Ty

Sadly, many buffets didn’t survive the pandemic and all-day buffet passes in general are no longer available, including the Buffet of Buffets pass.

I have 4-kids coming out too las vegas in sept 2nd-6th staying at HARRAHS plus my wife and i-would like to know if the buffet pass will be available at that time thanks Jackson Webb

The Buffet of Buffets Pass hasnt been active since Covid shut down the city. We don’t think it will return unfortunately.

are the buffet passes available now, I have family visiting las vegas in a couple of days

The Buffet of Buffets pass is not running currently

BUFFET OF BUFFETS STILL NOT OPEN YET

Can you make this a bit easier for me…what buffets are open when and at what times of the day. I see your five buffets but looking a little closer I see not meals on week night at the Flamingo. No seafood at the Rio. Can you just let me know what my choices are and when to make things a bit easier for me. I am having to do deep research and just want food while I am there.

The Buffet of Buffets pass has been discontinued at least for now, but we expect it may not return since many of the buffets it included have not reopened after Covid.

When is this buffet pass will resume? My family will be visiting Las Vegas the Christmas week

I’m not sure if it will return. Most of the buffets in the pass are no longer open.

El Dorado Cantina guacamole and drinks.

Cinco de Mayo — the day that observes the Mexican army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 during the Franco-Mexican War — is right around the corner. Sure, there are plenty of exceptional Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas where you can go to celebrate. And, below, are bars and restaurants who are hosting special events, parties, and live music.

Everything is listed alphabetically and takes place on Sunday, May 5, unless otherwise stated. And if you’re looking for something else, take a peek at where to go for tacos and the Essential Mexican Restaurants of Las Vegas .

Bel-Aire Lounge and Bel-Aire Backyard

Both the bar and the outdoor pool deck at the Durango Casino will host grand tequila garden parties with live music. Starting at 9 a.m., the Backyard will host a party with tequila specials. And at 5 p.m. the party will move to the Lounge. (Durango Casino; 6915 S Durango Dr.)

Borracha Mexican Cantina

The restaurant will host a Cinco de Mayo fiesta with a mariachi band, drink specials, and a DJ. On Sunday, Borracha will host brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a DJ, and dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. will include a mariachi band performance, followed by a DJ, plus food and drink specials. (Green Valley Ranch Spa and Casino; 2300 Paseo Verde Pkwy)

Cabo Wabo Cantina

The Strip-facing bar and restaurant will host a three-day Cinco de Mayo celebration from Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5. DJs will spin starting at 3 p.m. until the late evening. And specialty dishes like shrimp cocktail and tamarind margaritas will be available. (Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino; 3663 Las Vegas Blvd. S.)

El Dorado Cantina

Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, the Tivoli Village (400 S Rampart Blvd.) location will host a block party with a DJ, a beer garden, an outdoor margarita bar, a street taco stand, and an outdoor area with cornhole and other games. The Sammy Davis Jr. location (3025 Sammy Davis Jr. Drive) and the Cantina by El Dorado (8349 W. Sunset Road) will have a DJ and drink specials. (Multiple locations)

The Front Yard

The atrium-style bar at Ellis Island will host an evening of fish tacos, beer, and margaritas, and live mariachi music from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Ellis Island Hotel; 4178 Koval Lane)

Más Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila

Sneak past the taco counter and through the corridor that leads to a speakeasy for a night of music, dancing, and food and drink specials beginning at 5 p.m. (3879 Spring Mountain Road)

Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant

Mijo will celebrate with a live DJ during brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. And starting at 6 p.m., fire dancers and a mariachi band will take over. Expect food and drink specials. (Durango Casino; 6915 S Durango Drive)

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant

A live mariachi band will play from noon to 4 p.m. while food and drink specials will be available all day. (Downtown Summerlin; 11020 Lavender Hill Drive)

Proper Eats

Beginning on Friday, May 3 the venue will be featuring a limited-time taco pop-up and drink specials. On Sunday, celebrate with Mariachi music in the afternoon, followed by a Latin DJ into the night. (Aria Resort & Casino; 3730 S Las Vegas Boulevard)

Celebrate with DJs and fire dancers with Cinco de Mayo specials like lobster enchiladas or stop in for Cinco de Mayo brunch on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 for smothered breakfast burritos and vanilla cast iron pancakes. (The Shops at Crystals; 3720 S Las Vegas Boulevard)

The notoriously exclusive and hard-to-find bar inside the Bellagio is hosting a three-day pop-up from May 3 through May 5. Acclaimed bartenders from two award-winning bars in Mexico City — Ana Herrera of the acclaimed Handshake Speakeasy and José Luis León of Licorería Limantour — are stepping behind the Vault’s bar to craft Tequila Casa Dragones-based cocktails. Tickets to the pop-up are $125 and some with three cocktails and canapes. Tickets can be purchased only via The Vault’s Instagram . (Bellagio Hotel & Casino; 3600 S Las Vegas Boulevard)

How to enjoy the world’s 50 best restaurants awards in las vegas.

The main event of the week at Wynn Las Vegas is Revelry: The Feast, an elevated take on the food ... [+] festival "Grand Tasting" concept.

Launched in London more than 20 years ago, the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards has become one of the most important ratings in the rarefied world of top tier fine dining (though not without some criticism and controversy). But regardless what people think of the process behind selection, there’s no doubt that some of the big winners over the years have in fact been some of the world’s very best, places like Spain’s El Bulli, England’s The Fate Duck, Italy’s Osteria Francescana, Denmark’s Noma and in the U.S. notables have included Napa Valley’s French Laundry and New York City’s Eleven Madison Park.

Also, despite the name, the World’s Best List actually goes up to 100, and is split into the first 50 and second 50. There are also many sub-lists, including best by region (Asia, Latin America, North America, etc.) and other genres such as best bars and hotels.

No resort in the nation has more Forbes Stars than Wynn Las Vegas, host of the 2024 World's 50 Best ... [+] Restaurants Awards.

The winners are announced once each year, and the actual awards ceremony has become a big thing in the food and travel industry, full of pomp and circumstance, and for 2024, the show is coming to Las Vegas. The actual awards are at Wynn Las Vegas on June 5, and there’s not much for the public, as the organizers have described the audience as “the world’s leading chefs, gastronomic media and renowned culinary VIPs.”

But for everyone else, there is an impressive slate of public events surrounding the awards, especially at two big hitters in the city’s culinary scene, Wynn Las Vegas and Resorts World Las Vegas. More ancillary foodie actvities are expected to be added at other properties and independent restaurants on and off The Strip as it gets closer.
