With effect from 1 April 2009, the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Chennai no longer accepts individual walk-in applications. All applications would be submitted via a new electronic visa (e-Visa) application system that allows visas to be processed online. Alternatively, a local sponsor in Singapore (with a SingPass account) can also submit your application online on your behalf.

The visa fee is 30 Singapore Dollars equivalent to INR 1800 and service fee for each application is INR 650. Visa processing fee and visa service fee are paid upon application of the visa. The processing fee and visa service fee are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application or withdrawal of application after submission. Do also check with the respective Authorised Visa Agent on the rates of other administrative/ miscellaneous fees which may be levied, if any * The visa processing fee charged by the Authorised Visa Agents when converted to India rupees may vary based on the latest exchange rate on the day of application.

Your visa application will be processed in 3 to 5 working days after your application has been submitted to an Authorised Visa Agent. This excludes the day of submission, weekends, and public holidays. Some applications may take longer to process. Each visa application will be considered on its own merits.

Silver Skies presents a sequence of dreamlike images that flitter along like roadside advertisements seen from a moving car. Do you want views of Christmas Bowl and the Village? This is the place for you! Blue Skies is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home with one of the best ski accesses to the village from the Knoll. At the end of the day, enjoy views of Silver Star Mountain right from the main living area or even better, from inside your private hot tub. Walk right out your door to the ski way that takes you to the village (in less than 2 minutes), XC or Alpine ski trails, or hike/bike trails in the summer.

The main living area is on the top floor for the best views in the house. With a large open concept kitchen, dining room and living area, everyone can hang out in the morning at breakfast or at the end of the day while cooking dinner together. Need some more space for the kids? Send them to the private den that has a TV and pullout couch.

Head downstairs to the bedroom level, where you will find a large master bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite and the other two bedrooms for the rest of the family. The bedroom level is on the entryway level, so no hauling all your suitcases upstairs! On this level, you will also find the laundry room that also doubles as a boot room where you can dry all your gear.

Blue Skies has one of the best ski rooms on the Knoll. Just head outside the front door and down the side of the house and you can hang up all your gear, wax and store your skis here. It’s heated too!

Blue Skies has private laundry, Natural Gas BBQ, and a private hot tub on the deck with views of Christmas Bowl and the Village.

Parking: There are 2 outdoor parking spots for vehicles. The garage is not available for guest use.

Ski Access: Head down the stairs to the back of the house and have quick access to the village and multi-purpose skiway.

Bonus: The hot tub is open for both the winter and summer seasons (closed during the shoulder seasons.)

Blue Skies is a fully equipped house with its own laundry facilities. Housekeeping is not included during your stay but if you require additional housekeeping during your stay it can be arranged at an additional cost.

Please Note: This home has an occupied suite in the basement; however, as a renter, you have a separate entrance and do not share any facilities within the property.

"I highly recommend Blue Skies for a Sliverstar vacation! I stayed with my son and two other families in February 2023 and we had an awesome vacation! The house is really well set up, large groups are no problem. The rooms are spacious and private and there are lots of bathrooms. Plenty of ski storage and space to dry out gear. You can ski or walk easily in about 5 minutes to Silverstar Village to access the restaurants, groceries and the lifts, and there are options to ski back from wherever you end up at the end of your day. It’s on the groomed Nordic trails, which are awesome. The open concept kitchen-living area is spacious and well set up, and the hot tub is a great way to unwind after an awesome powder day. "We were fortunate to stay at Blue Skies for a week in February with two other families. The clean, well-appointed kitchen and spacious dining room made meal times a breeze for a large group, with beautiful views of the mountains, the sunset and the stars. The kids loved sharing the bunk bed room (once a fair trade agreement for top bunks was in place!). Despite enjoying the common areas, it was also easy to find more private zones for quiet reading or puzzle-making, or cozying up with hot chocolate by the fire (or, alas, having the odd work call). Putting a movie on in the den for the kids was also a favourite (and not just for the kids!). And the hot tub was just what we needed after a day on the slopes. "Blue Skies provided spacious accommodation for our three generations group of seven. The Silver Queen location, overlooking the village and ski hills and with access to the trail behind for only a short walk to the village, was convenient. We found the house neat and clean with all the furniture and appliances that we wanted. The kitchen was very well equipped. And everything worked as it should. "We stayed at the Blue Skies house in Silverstar in August 2022 for three nights. The house can easily accommodate 10 people. The living area and kitchen are beautiful and spacious. The sleeping area is well laid out for two families. The location is fantastic - a five minute walk to the main square in the village. We never stayed at Silverstar before in summer. I was so pleasantly surprised as to how much we could do. There were many opportunities for mountain biking and hiking on the mountain, and relaxing at the village square in restaurants and enjoying the famous bakery. Lots of action and beautiful nature at your doorstep. I unreservedly recommend Blue Skies house for a stay in the summer or the winter. " - August 2022

"Great stay at Blue Skies for a boys long weekend of skiing. Perfectly located right in the town allowed us to ski in and out and walk to the bars and restaurants. Great size house which comfortably allowed us to have our own space. Well stocked kitchen meant we could easily cook meals for the whole group with all the necessary pots and pans. The best part was the ski waxing room which made it easy for us to do our own tech on our equipment each evening for the next day.
