Best of the best public golf course in Houston! Great customer service, and the greens are always beautiful. Love the wildlife too!
Very fun round of golf. If you only play Amen Corner and 17 at TPC Sawgrass you get your monies worth. Conditions were fine and pace of play was what you would expect on a Friday before a holiday weekend. Strongly recommend to give this course a try and have fun remembering all of the holes you have seen on television.
Pretty cool place to golf. I'll definitely do it again. The guy checking in is a bit abrasive but I think he means well. Idk I would have bought more merch if it went smoothly.
The greens and fairways are beautiful I would highly recommend checking the place out
This course was a lot of fun to play on. However, we came when Texas was in the 30 degree range for an off Texas February weekend. I don't recommend coming when it's that cold. Their holes with water surrounding them made it not fun to play. Not the course's fault, it was the crazy Texas weather for 2022 fault! LoL Parking here is semi limited, thankfully we didn't have any break ins like other Yelpers described. Again it was a great course to play on. I managed to lose a hole set of balls on hole six or seven. I just couldn't get my swing on. Each of the holes do represent different PGA tour hole. Which I thought was really cool to see. Again definitely great course to play on!
Course was in excellent condition. Cart Girl was very hospitable and effective. Pro Shop has nice golf apparel at a slight mark up. Overall it was a great experience.
I really enjoyed my round here. My playing partner tweaked his back the day before and couldn't play. They did not charge him to ride and watch. Fairways and greens were in good shape. You can really tell that the holes replicate (minus the distance from the tips) the PGA holes intended. Would definitely play this course again. P.S. I pulled it in the drink on Sawgrass 17. Wanted to boo myself

Just left Tour 18. Left my Versace sunglasses in the cart. Called to have someone check the cart I left for my sunglasses. No one is able to find or help me find my sunglasses. Not happy with service. Pay top dollar to play but can't help recover sunglasses in golf cart.
Absolutely loved this course aside from actually playing the courses these holes are from this is the next best thing. And for it being close to the winter season the course was in great shape. Amen corner was my favorite by far to play, it's the closest I will ever get to playing Augusta and it's represented well. The only thing holding this from a five star review was the that the 9th hole (17 at TPC Sawgrass) was closed (the island had fallen into the lake) and it wasn't posted anywhere except when I showed up to pay. I understand why it was closed but it should be on the website. I was looking forward to playing that hole and it was disappointing to show up and have it closed. But I would come back and play again in a heartbeat absolutely amazing course.

Sample some of the best holes in golf at Tour 18 Houston in Humble
HUMBLE, Texas -- Tour 18 Houston , located just north of the city, delivers a unique course that samples some of the most famous holes in golf. Designs from across the U.S. come together to create a golf course that's just more than 6,700 yards from the longest set of tees. Opened in 1992, it's the first of two Tour 18 concepts, with the other located in Dallas. The highlight of the round for most will be the rendition of Amen Corner, nos. 5-7, which features not only blooming azaleas and cobblestone bridges, but also a white Masters scoreboard with the latest-played Masters leaders updated on it. The front side culminates with an island green (like No. 17 at TPC Sawgrass). The back nine highlight might be the 14th (like No. 3 at Oakmont with its famous "Church Pew" bunker). Facilities here are quite good and include a large clubhouse, practice facility and banquet area.

2024 Houston Open one and done picks, top sleepers, rankings: PGA Tour predictions, expert golf betting advice
T he push towards the 2024 Masters is on with the PGA Tour descending upon the Lone Star State this week for the 2024 Texas Children's Houston Open at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlines the 2024 Houston Open field. Scheffler, a Texas native, notched outright wins in his last two starts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship, and enters this week as the heavy betting favorite at 14-5 in the latest 2024 Texas Children's Houston Open odds. He is followed by Wyndham Clark (14-1), Tony Finau (18-1), Will Zalatoris (18-1), Sahith Theegala (20-1), Jason Day (28-1), and Si Woo Kim (35-1). The total 2024 Houston Open purse is $9.1 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1.638 million. The winner of this event will also earn 500 FedEx Cup points.
In a wide open field, would it make sense to back Scheffler this week in One and Done pools? Or would this be a good week to target a long shot like Beau Hossler, Billy Horschel, or Kurt Kitayama? Before locking in your 2024 Texas Children's Houston Open one and done picks, you need to see what SportsLine DFS pro and PGA expert Mike McClure has to say .
The One and Done format is growing in popularity. It has several noticeable similarities to NFL Survivor pools, with the main difference being entries are not eliminated with a bad week. Players pick one golfer per week and earn points based on their selected golfer's prize money for that tournament. Golfers can only be used once per season, and the point format makes nailing majors, signature events, and big money tournaments critical.
McClure is a DFS legend with over $2 million in career winnings, and he's been red-hot on his PGA picks dating back to the PGA Tour restart in June of 2020. McClure uses his proprietary simulation model to analyze the field and crush his golf picks .
McClure has been on fire with his One and Done picks in 2024. At The American Express he backed Justin Thomas, who finished in third place and took home $635,600. At the Genesis Invitational, McClure tabbed Patrick Cantlay, who finished in fourth place at the signature event, as his top OAD pick. At the Cognizant Classic, McClure's top one and done pick, Min Woo Lee, finished in a tie for second place. Finally, at the Arnold Palmer Invitation, another signature event, McClure recommended using Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris. The Result: Scheffler won the event by five strokes, and Zalatoris finished in fourth place.
His hot steak continued at the Players Championship, where McClure again recommended using Scheffler (if was still available) and Xander Schauffele. Both players were in contention until the end, with Scheffler coming out with the win and Schauffele finishing in second place. Then, at last week's Valspar Championship, McClure recommended using Cameron Young, who finished in second place, in OAD pools.
Now, McClure has dialed in on the Texas Children's Houston Open golf tournament and just locked in his one and done picks and PGA predictions. They are a must-see for any player looking for an edge in their One and Done pool. You can only see McClure's Texas Children's Houston Open 2024 one and done picks at SportsLine .
Top 2024 Houston One and Done picks
One of McClure's top OAD picks this week at Memorial Park is 30-year-old Wyndham Clark. The reigning U.S. Open champion has three career PGA Tour victories, with one of those coming at this year's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Clark also notched a win at this year's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and finished in second place at The Players and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The Denver, Colo. native has climbed to No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking and has become a threat to win any tournament he enters. Clark enters this week ranked third on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained (1.869), eighth in strokes gained tee-to-green (1.214), 12th in strokes gained putting (0.656), and 17th in strokes gained on approach (0.615). With the Houston Open field being wide open, McClure expects Clark to be in contention until the end. You can see who else to back at SportsLine .
How to make Texas Children's Houston Open 2024 One and Done picks
McClure is also targeting another golfer for his 2024 Texas Children's Houston Open one and done picks who has a long track record of success against elite competition. This former major championship winner has the ability to win any tournament he enters, and is one of the most talented golfers in this field. You can find out who it is, and check out all of McClure's Texas Children's Houston Open one and done picks at SportsLine .
Who wins the the Texas Children's Houston Open 2024, and which golfers should you target for your PGA one and done picks this week at Memorial Park Golf Course? Visit SportsLine now to get Mike McClure's Texas Children's Houston Open 2024 one and done picks, all from the DFS pro who called Nick Taylor's epic win at the RBC Canadian Open and Rickie Fowler's win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2023, and Scottie Scheffler's win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational , and find out.

Auston Kim Aces No. 18 at Wilshire Country Club
Stark practicing patience; records second runner-up in a row.
- Tournament News
- LA Championship
The second round of the 2024 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro was marked by two remarkable aces at Wilshire Country Club. Alexa Pano showed off her skills with a hole-in-one on the 12th hole from 175 yards with a 6-iron in the morning wave. Meanwhile, LPGA Tour rookie Auston Kim stole the show in her stunning tournament debut with an ace on the 18th hole from 135 yards with a pitching wedge.
It is the sixth ace of the LPGA Tour season and the third in two rounds at the JM Eagle LA Championship. The 2023 Epson Tour Graduate shot an even-par 71 and is currently in a tie for fifth with Emily Kristine Pedersen.
"It was my first ever hole-in-one. Very cool that I can finally say I have a hole-in-one now," said the 23-year-old Kim. "I was trying to hit about a 128 shot into 18 green, and (it) just landed perfectly up front. Bounces a couple of times, rolled and went in. It was awesome. It was really cool.”
With Kim's hole-in-one, CME Group will donate $20,000 to CME Group Cares Challenge – Score 1 for St. Jude. The season-long charitable giving program turns aces into donations with a minimum guaranteed donation of $500,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The LPGA Tour rookie's ace has now raised the 2024 donation total to $120,000, and Kim joins fellow American Pano and Republic of Korea native Jeongeun Lee5 as the third player to make an ace in the early rounds in Los Angeles, Calif.
While the hole-out was a nice exclamation point on her opening nine, Kim was just as excited for it to happen during a competition round, nearly knocking over her caddie, Sarah Bowman, in her celebration.
"Very cool. Again, everything, so many people watching, and I love playing in front of crowds," said Kim. “Of course, there are nerves involved, but it's always fun to embrace the moment. I just tried to hit the best possible shot I could. It was a really awesome moment, and I'll never forget it."
🚨 ACE ALERT 🚨 Auston Kim cards the second ace of the week on 18 and has the best celly 🥳🔥 pic.twitter.com/ZAXS1PpJ3m — LPGA (@LPGA) April 26, 2024

Scottie scheffler continues dominant run with 2024 rbc heritage win, share this article.
Scottie Scheffler spent an extra night in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, which typically wouldn’t be such a drag if not for his wife Meredith being pregnant back home in Dallas and awaiting the couple’s first child later this month.
But Mother Nature had other plans, forcing Scheffler to return to Harbour Town Golf Links on Monday morning to play his final three holes of the 2024 RBC Heritage and wrap up his fourth PGA Tour title in his past five starts.
One week and one day after Scheffler slipped into the famed Green Jacket awarded to the Masters champ for the second time in three years, the 27-year-old Texan added another colorful jacket – this time in trademark Tartan – to his closet and became the first reigning Masters champion to win the RBC Heritage since Bernhard Langer in 1985.
Scheffler, who was 4-under through 15 holes in the final round and 20-under overall when play was suspended due to darkness on Sunday, made two pars and a finishing bogey and signed for a 3-under 68 on Monday, three shots better than Sahith Theegala (68) and four better than reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark (65) and past FedEx Cup champion Patrick Cantlay (68). Scheffler banked another $3.6 million to surpass $18 million in earnings this season – and it’s still April.
“I didn’t show up here just to have some sort of ceremony and have people tell me congratulations,” said Scheffler of avoiding a post-Masters victory hangover. “I came here with a purpose.”
CBS Sports roving reporter Colt Knost, who grew up with Scheffler following him around Dallas’s Royal Oaks Golf Club, already has one of the best nicknames in golf: The Big Gravy. But he may have earned another one – Knost-radamus – for a prediction seemingly as accurate as those of the 16 th century French astrologer Nostradamus. In February 2022, when Scheffler won his first Tour title at the WM Phoenix Open, Knost proclaimed him to be “a worldbeater,” and added, “Now that he’s got that first one, I think the floodgates are going to open for him.”
Scheffler’s latest triumph is his 10 th career title, the first player to win that many times (or more) in three seasons since Dustin Johnson did so between 2015-16 and 2017-18. There’s no indication that this flood of success for the world No. 1 will stop any time soon. Did Knost imagine Scheffler would dominate on the PGA Tour? “I really did,” he said. “He never plays badly and he’s one of the most competitive people I’ve ever met. He will never just go through the motions.”
Theegala, who recalled playing against Scheffler for the first time in the Starburst Junior Golf Classic at Waco, Texas, didn’t remember ever beating Scheffler, who is a year older than him, in a single junior tournament. Competing with Scheffler, who leads the Tour in 30 statistical categories this season, hasn’t gotten any easier lately. “It’s pretty epic,” Theegala said of Scheffler, who has shot even par or better in all 40 rounds this season and became the first player to win four times in five starts since Tiger Woods in 2007-08. “I was talking to Carl, my caddie, walking to 15 tee box. I was like, I grew up watching the end of Tiger, got to see Rory, DJ, Jordan, like all these guys kind of dominate for a period of time, and I was like, we could be in the midst of something really, really special.”
Some observers suggested that Scheffler would skip the RBC Heritage but Scheffler said he never wavered in his commitment to the tournament. After winning the Masters, Scheffler flew home to Dallas to be with Meredith and didn’t show up to Hilton Head until Tuesday. He played only a nine-hole practice round on Wednesday and spotted much of the field a head start, shanking a bunker shot at his third hole in the first round, making double bogey and needing two late birdies to post 69. He trailed by six and complained of fatigue. But after recharging his batteries, he didn’t make a single bogey or worse until the 72nd hole of the tournament, and even in that case Scheffler said he was counting that one as a par as he played the smart shots with a comfortable lead. He stormed back with a 65 on Friday and was lurking three back before reminding everyone who is boss with a bogey-free 63 to claim a one-stroke lead.
Are you kidding me?! 💥 Scottie Scheffler is doing Scottie Scheffler things. @RBC_Heritage pic.twitter.com/by9vn6dplU — Golf on CBS ⛳ (@GolfonCBS) April 21, 2024
In the final round, Scheffler laid down the hammer early, chipping in at the par-5 second hole from 53 feet for eagle. His bump-and-run, executed to perfection, marked his 11 th hole-out of the season. He tacked on a birdie at the par-5 fifth and strung together six consecutive pars before the horn blew. When play resumed he wedged to 6 feet for another birdie at 13. When he made his lone blunder, pull-hooking a 4-iron into the water due to mud on his ball at the par-5 15th, he took a penalty drop and carved a beautiful shot to 11 feet. Darkness had fallen and he could’ve wait until Monday to strike the par putt but he opted to play on and sank it for good measure. While that snapped a streak of 53 consecutive holes without recording a score of more than a four on his card, dating to the 15 th hole in his first round, he pumped his fist with glee for keeping a clean card (to that point).
“I felt like I was due for one to drop,” said Scheffler, whose closing bogey gave him a winning total 19-under 265. “So I figured might as well hit it now.”
Clark mounted an early charge, making an eagle and six birdies in his first 11 holes to inch within a stroke of the lead. But his effort to run down Scheffler was spoiled at the 12 th hole when Clark tried to punch between trees. His ball struck one of them squarely and ricocheted out of bounds. He made double bogey.
“It was kind of fun for a little bit,” said Clark, who improved to a career-best ranking of No. 3 in the world. “Seemed like maybe we had a chance to do something crazy.”
Only Mother Nature could prolong Scheffler’s victory another day. Play was suspended due to inclement weather at 4:28 p.m. ET, for two hours and 32 minutes. The delay meant they ran out of daylight.
But on Monday, Scheffler capped off winning for the fourth time this year, all of them Signature events. He finished tied for second in the only tournament he did not win during his scorching run. For the week, he topped the field of 69 in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee, SG: Tee to Green, SG: Approach the Green and scrambling.
“We’re watching greatness right now,” CBS’s Jim Nantz said. “It doesn’t happen all the time, but it sure is fun when you find yourself witnessing something like this.
Nantz’s NFL broadcast partner, former Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, who played in the Invited Celebrity Classic on PGA Tour Champions last week, estimated he’s played around 500 rounds with Scheffler and said he’s never failed to break 70.
“Which is insane,” said Romo who played with him the week before the Masters at Brook Hollow, a Dallas club. “I have not seen a guy hit a golf ball like this since Tiger back in the 2000s when I played with him, the way he was striking the ball, the compression, the trajectory, the spin rate. It was impressive, and I was like, ‘He ain’t losing that tournament.’ ”
No one stopped him at the RBC Heritage either. Could Scheffler be on his way to a season for the record books? That may depend whether history repeats itself — all 10 of his wins have come in the months of February, March and April. So, time will tell if Scheffler can continue to dominate when the calendar flips to May – just don’t bet against the floodgates closing any time soon.

Four players share the 18-hole lead after the first round of the Diners Club Peru Open at Los Inkas Golf Club. Chris Korte, Rodolfo Cazaubon, Julián Etulain and Evan Brown carded 6-under 66 and hold a one-stroke lead over nine players at 5-under 67.
This is the first time that Korte, Etulain and Brown have held a share of the lead after 18 holes this season. Cazaubon is making his first start on PGA TOUR Americas.
A native of Littleton, Colorado, Korte has made the cut in all three PGA TOUR Americas events to start the season. Korte registered his best finish at the Totalplay Championship at Atlas Country Club, where he finished T26. Korte earned exempt membership through the Latin Swing after finishing 11th in the Fortinet Cup season-long standings in 2023 after finishing in the top 25 four times, including a pair of T2 finishes at the Beachlands Victoria Open presented by Times Colonist and the Elk Ridge Saskatchewan Open.
After a lucrative collegiate career at the University of North Texas, Cazaubon gained membership on PGA TOUR Latinoamerica in 2014. Cazaubon won three times in 2015 on his way to winning the Order of Merit. The Tampico, Mexico native gained membership through the Latin Swing after finishing in the top 60 on PGA TOUR Latinoamerica in 2023.
Brown turned professional after a collegiate career that saw him star at Loyola University Maryland and Ole Miss. In addition to making six birdies, Brown capitalized and made eagle on Nos. 14 and 16 to secure his best round of the season thus far.
A two-time winner of the Diners Club Peru Open on PGA TOUR Latinoamerica (2013, 2014), Etulain has made the cut in seven of his last eight starts dating back to last season on PGA TOUR Latinoamerica. The Buenos Aires native has registered four top-10s in that span.
All players finished the first round with the final group finishing at 6:01 p.m. CT. Second-round play will start at 7:45 a.m. CT off the No. 1 and 10 tees.
