Callaway Strata Vs Tour Edge Bazooka 360 Golf Club Review – Which One Should I Buy?

Callaway strata vs tour edge bazooka golf club review – which one should i buy.

Strata Main Image

We know a lot of golfers that like to chop their sets and add different clubs to them over time. But even they had to start somewhere. Buying individual clubs from different sets can be very time-consuming and very expensive.

For the most part, it’s better to start with a complete set and make changes to it as needed down the road. But what set offers the best initial value? Which set will give you the best springboard into an effective collection that’s all your own?

Today we are going to be looking at a couple of different complete sets of golf clubs. We chose these sets because we believe that they are good starting points for both beginners and those who have been playing for some time. So let’s take a look.

The Callaway Strata Set

Strata Golf Clubs

The Callaway Strata clubs are for anyone looking for a good set of clubs to start out with. Over time, you may want to change a couple of the woods and putter, but overall Callaway has come through with the Strata series and delivered clubs that are high quality and affordable.

You get everything you need from this set. They will help improve your front game and best of all, they come from one of the best golf club manufacturers in the world. The ample driver gives you a good start to any round with a large head and plenty of forgiveness.

The Tour Edge Bazooka 360 Set

Bazooka 360

The Tour Edge Bazooka 360 is another full set of clubs that aims to deliver firepower right out of the gate and they do a pretty good job. This would be a great set for anyone who already knows that they prefer hybrid irons as opposed to straight up steel ones.

While Tour Edge doesn’t share as much of the market as Callaway does, they have made some very high-rated clubs in recent years. With the Tour Edge Bazooka series, they continue to impress seasoned vets and novices to the game.

Callaway Strata Features

The Callaway Strata set is a full 12-piece set. One of the best features of the set is the oversized driver face which allows for maximum forgiveness. It is a 460CC, forged titanium head so it delivers plenty of launch power.

There are both stainless steel and hybrid irons in this set. The PW is made of stainless steel. There is also an oversized fairway wood (3) that delivers an ample loft degree of 15.5. Naturally, the pitching wedge features the highest loft degree at 44.

  • More affordable than the Tour Edge Bazooka set
  • Driver has a good length (45”)
  • Stainless steel irons
  • A hybrid 5 iron
  • Putter features alignment
  • Comes with a standing bag with a cooler compartment
  • They dent easily
  • Not long enough for taller golfers (6’2” and above)
  • Geared more towards starters trying to improve their front game
  • Only one iron is a hybrid

Tour Edge Bazooka Features

Bazooka 360

The back irons of this set are what impressed us the most. They are cavity-backed irons that are weighted at both the heel and toe. They make it easier to take a proper swing and give you great loft and sound on impact.

The driver (460cc) was also pretty easy to use. It has a nice, thin face which improves forgiveness. The hybrid iron in this set is the 4 and the other iron heads are made of stainless steel. The putter features a white alignment finish.

  • The clubs are more durable than the Callaway’s
  • The irons were also easier to use
  • The putter was also easy to hit accurate shots with
  • You get head covers for the 5 wood, 4 iron 3 wood and driver
  • High MOI putter
  • Titanium driver
  • The bag is kind of flimsy and cheap
  • We wish the hybrid iron was the 5
  • No 9 iron so this set may not be good if you use irons a lot
  • Steel iron shafts

Composition comparison.

The driver and hybrids of the Tour Edge Bazooka are graphite. The 4 iron is a composite of stainless steel and graphite. The fairway woods are steel and the driver features a titanium head. The hybrid irons also feature stainless steel heads.

The shaft of the 5 iron Callaway Strata set is also a composite of graphite and stainless steel. The head of the driver is also a nice full titanium style head. The 6 and 9 irons as well as the pitching wedge are made of stainless steel.

Performance Comparison

Callaway Strata 3

The Callaway Strata set seems to have emphasized opening drives. It is impressive how easy it is to get good distance with the driver.

It is also very easy to hit the sweet spot of the driver. But for the back end of the round, we felt the putters, woods and pitching wedge underperformed.

The Tour Edge Bazooka 360 set also delivered with a great driver that opens up the hole with a good distance advantage. But they took the long game a step further by including some high quality, cavity-backed irons that give good spin control and loft. Oh yes, and good distance as well.

Pitch shots also suffer a bit with the Tour Edge Bazooka, but the putter was at least smoother than the Callaway.

Price Comparison

The Tour Edge Bazooka 360 will cost you around $340 while the Callaway Strata set will set you back about $289.

Our Opinion

tour edge 360

As a jumping off point, you really can’t go wrong with either of these sets. They make it easier to improve the aspect of your game that you should focus on when just starting out: your long game.

But in our opinion, the Tour Edge Bazooka performs a bit better during other portions of your round. It is a better set if you want one that can keep up with you a bit as your game improves.

You will have to supplement less of the finer clubs of the Tour Edge Bazooka in the future, as opposed to the Callaways, so in our opinion, it’s the better set for improving golfers. Give it a good look if you need a starter set!

Table of Contents

Introduction

There are a lot of golf equipment and accessories manufacturers today. Expectedly, there are big names in the industry. Some of these names include Wilson , Callaway and TaylorMade . However, if you don’t want to buy any of these products, probably due to budget constraints or personal experience, there are some smaller powerhouses that you can decide to patronize. One of them is Tour Edge. Over the years, Tour Edge has emerged as a respected golf equipment manufacturer due to its consistent production of reliable, functional and excellent equipment. In this review, we are going to be taking a special look at two of those special products. One of them is the Tour Edge Bazooka 360 senior full set, and the other one is the Tour Edge Bazooka 260 men’s set. Although these two golf sets are excellent for any golfer, they are also unique in their ways. We have put this review together to show you what you will enjoy when you purchase any of these sets. Enjoy!

1. Tour Edge Bazooka Golf Sets

Tour Edge Bazooka 360 Review

If you are a beginner, you should consider getting this golf set. However, if you are a senior and a beginner , then this product is just right for you. It contains all the necessary equipment you would need to improve your golf game, and it is made from high-quality materials. The excellent quality is also accompanied with a reasonable price. Although this club set was designed for right-handed male golfers, a special set is available for the left-handed folks. All these clubs utilize shafts made from graphite and steel.

This golf set also contains a size 3 and 5 fairway wood that allows you to strike your ball easily. These woods give you the chance to play your ball from any position on the golf course. They are also lightweight and also very forgiving.

Another excellent equipment that this product comes with is a size 4 hybrid. The hybrid utilizes a stainless-steel head, and it has been uniquely designed with a low-profile design that makes you hit difficult shots with ease. The long irons might be a little harder to hit, and it may take a while for a beginner to master. Even then, some variety of shots might require a hybrid for you to take them effectively.

As a golfer, whether you are a beginner or a professional, you would surely need irons. This golf set comes with an excellent collection of irons that you would want to have. They contain sizes 5 through to 9 irons, and they also come with a sand wedge. These irons are made from stainless steel, and they are uniquely designed with heel and toe weighting, which allows for a lower centre of gravity. It also has an undercut cavity that makes room for a larger sweet spot and more accurate shots. You would enjoy using them in the long run.

If your golf set is missing a putter, then it is not complete. A putter allows you to hit shorter distance shots with increased accuracy. For this particular golf set, the putter it comes with has been uniquely designed with special features that allow you to utilize the club better. The putter has an easy to use alignment aid that gives room for more accurate setup and better finishing.

It also comes with headcovers and a lightweight stand bag. You don’t have to worry about purchasing a bag separately. Like we said earlier, it is a complete golf set.

  • Suitable for beginners. Helps to improve your game.
  • Lightweight clubs. Suitable for seniors.
  • Allows for more forgiveness.
  • Gives you more distance on your shots.
  • Affordable. Excellent price for this set.
  • The bag might not be the highest quality.

2. Tour Edge Bazooka 260 Men’s Set

As a beginner golfer, if you are looking for a set that is relatively cheap and effective, then this is your best bet. Although this product is very affordable, the quality was not sacrificed to achieve that. This product comes with a lifetime warranty, and it is uniquely designed with game improvement technology that helps golfers to achieve maximum performance. Rest assured; this full 15-piece package set is just what you need.

tour edge 360

This set also contains a fairway wood that has been uniquely designed to hit off the course and produce high flying, accurate shots. When we say this fairway wood is uniquely designed, we are referring to the fact that they have a low centre of gravity which allows you to easily swing it and get the right angle on your shots. It also helps that they are lightweight.

A hybrid is a very important club for a beginner because your irons may not be well- suited to take certain shots for you. However, with this hybrid, you can take wonderful shots from a variety of angles. This hybrid is also very forgiving, and it has a low centre of gravity that makes swinging and hitting your ball relatively easy.

It would also be good to note that the irons are oversized and are made from stainless steel. They have an undercut cavity that allows for a larger sweet spot and therefore, more forgiveness on mishits.

This set also has a putter that utilizes an easy to use alignment aid. This means that you can hit your ball with increased accuracy and putt with ease.

This set also comes with headcovers for the driver, 3-wood, hybrid and putter. The bag is also a lot better than that of the 360-set. It is a lightweight, dual-strap stand bag.

  • Suitable for beginners and leisure golfers.
  • The clubs have an excellent feel.
  • The clubs are very forgiving.
  • They help you gain more distance on your shots.
  • The stand bag comes with many amazing features.
  • Affordable product at a great price.
  • You might have to change the driver if you don’t like it.

The two products that have been reviewed above are both excellent golf sets manufactured by Tour Edge. Although the features of the 360-set look more appealing, it is also more expensive. Ultimately, it is going to boil down to what you are looking for from your set. If you are a beginner golfer that plays golf leisurely, then the 260-set will probably serve you better while also conserving your resources. However, if you a beginner in golf and you are also a senior, it would be better if you considered buying the 360-set. It might be a bit on the upside financially, but it is definitely worth the buy. Golf is a very interesting sport, and having an equipment set that fits you perfectly will help you appreciate and love the game more. Enjoy!

Tour Edge Bazooka Club Sets – Review

  • Updated on: April 6, 2019

Learn more about our team of experts & our testing process here .

Quick Jump -

Tour Edge released their Bazooka golf club set not so long ago, but the product has already become incredibly popular among all types of golfers. Beginners and intermediate golfers like Tour Edge Bazooka because it is good quality affordable set of clubs, thus allowing them to get started in golf without going into debt. Bazooka set comes with 11-12 clubs, depending on which model you buy. There is 260 model, which is older one, and the newer release – Tour Edge Bazooka 360. I’m going to review both of them, and let the readers decide which one they prefer. In my opinion, newer version is obviously better, but there are few aspects, such as price of it, that might make Bazooka 260 club set a more attractive option.

  • Tour Edge Bazooka Steel Box Set
  • Tour Edge Women Bazooka 260 Full Set
  • Tour Edge 2020 Bazooka 270 Full Set
  • Tour Edge Bazooka 360 Senior Full Set

Right now, Amazon only offers right-handed version of 260, but 360 is available for southpaws as well. Both Bazooka sets are extremely stylish, but when it comes to functionality, things get a little muddled. For that, we’ll compare the two in our tour edge bazooka review and hopefully help you decide which one will meet your needs the best.

It should also be noted that there are Bazooka 260 club sets for women as well as for men. I’m not sure about Tour Edge Bazooka 360, I couldn’t find women’s club set online, but there might be one. In this Tour Edge Bazooka review, I will be talking about men’s version of both, but since they are the same model, I assume women’s Bazooka club set will be pretty much the same, with minor differences that women’s clubs usually have.

Tour Edge Bazooka 360 Review

This club set includes 12 individual clubs, four headcovers and an extremely useful stand bag. Set is available for southpaws as well as right-handed golfers. Price is higher than most basic golf club sets, but despite that, Tour Edge Bazooka 360 is great value for the money. In my opinion, this is the best golf club set beginners can find on market right now. It has everything – forgiving clubs, stylish and functional design, quality craftsmanship. The best part of it all is the price. If bought separately, golf clubs of equivalent quality would cost much more than what they cost when bought as bundle of clubs included in Tour Edge Bazooka 360 set. Now let’s get to individual clubs.

Titanium Matrix driver that comes with this set has club head that is 460cc large. You are probably aware that it’s the largest driver head size allowed by rules of golf. Oversized club head is not the only game-improving feature that this driver has. Special design encourages shots to have high MOI and also weight positioning is used to make golf balls travel longer distances.  On top of that, unlike most woods, woods that come with this set are very easy to hit and forgiving. Which is one of the reasons for why I think that this set is perfect for beginner golfers.

Makers of this club set have realized that long irons were too hard to hit, so they looked for alternatives and found hybrids to be a good one. Hybrid that comes with this set has stainless steel head and is designed to be easy to hit for beginners. Irons, on the other hand, are optimized for accuracy, but designers didn’t sacrifice forgiveness while aiming to make precise golf irons. Material used to make these irons is stainless steel. I have nothing but praise for the putter. It is easy to shoot and deadly accurate, just as you’d want from a putter.

This version is different from 360 one in few important ways. First of all, it’s significantly cheaper, but surprisingly, Tour Edge managed to make this version cheaper without sacrificing even an inch of quality or performance of the clubs. As I’ve mentioned before, Bazooka 360 set is one of the best bargains for beginners right now, but this set offers even more value for the price. Don’t get me wrong, when compared without regard to price, 360 is definitely the superior one. On the other hand, when you’re limited in budget and want the best value for your money, no other option compares to Tour Edge Bazooka 260.  This set is advertised as having 15 pieces, but the actual number of clubs is 11. You shouldn’t let that discourage you though, because I think 11 clubs are more than enough for a beginner and even intermediate golfer.

Oversized 460cc driver included in this set is great for golfers of all sorts, but especially for beginners. That’s because the titanium matrix driver is designed to be extremely forgiving and promote long shots. Likewise, because of its low-CG design, 3-wood is easy to hit and more accurate than most. Just like the 360 version, this set includes a hybrid in place of long iron. Tour Edge’s r&d team also did a very good job with design and manufacturing of irons that are included in this set. They are forgiving and extremely accurate, just as you’d expect from Tour Edge irons. Putter is also accurate, mainly thanks to its handy design.

The Best Left-Handed Golf Clubs & Sets

The majority of golfers play the game right handed. In fact, it’s estimated that only 5-7 percent of golfers in all of North America are lefties. This means that from the millions of clubs that get manufactured in bulk each year, the majority will be built for right handed players. In this article, I’m going to help you solve this problem by bringing you a list of the best left handed golf clubs around.

The Best Hybrid Iron Sets

If you’re a player who struggles to hit your irons, you might be considering taking them out of the bag and investing in some hybrid irons. Hybrid irons offer a little more support in terms of launch and are generally easier to hit than regular irons. I for one am a strong believer that we should be trying to make the game of golf as easy as possible! So in this article, I’ll be bringing you my round-up of some of the best hybrid iron sets around.

The Overall Best Golf Clubs for the Money?

Ok, I get it. You are looking for a complete golf set. Not only do the clubs have to perform, but the price has to be right too! You can go down several routes, from buying a complete set to assembling your very own custom set.

Here’s the truth. It’s always going to be a balancing act when you are trying to get the best golf clubs for the money you have available to invest in a new set. Fortunately, I’ve got a few great suggestions which I am going to share.

Best Golf Clubs for Seniors

As a senior golfer, you might be starting to worry that your lowest scores are behind you. But the reality is, there are plenty of senior golfers who have been playing for decades (and with that experience in the tank and a little help from modern technology), there’s no reason you can’t play some of the best golf of your life.

In this article, I’ll be reviewing some of the best golf clubs for seniors to help you find some that suit your game.

Best Junior Golf Clubs for 2021

Here we take a closer look at some of the best golf club sets for kids that are just starting out, many of which are made by specialist junior golf club manufacturers, feature shorter and more flexible shafts to ensure young golfers can hit the golf ball properly and get more enjoyment from the game.

Tour Edge Hot Launch C524 Iron Review

I had never struck a Tour Edge golf club before the Hot Launch C524 Irons arrived on my doorstep, so I was keen to see if they could perform as well as some of the best irons on the market for a fraction of the price.

Retailing for just $79.99/£65.00 per iron, the price tag certainly caught my eye as many irons in this category sell for far more than double that price. On first inspection out of the box, there were no signs of why that may be from an aesthetic point of view. Each iron was beautifully finished and looked great when I put them down in the playing position. A generous blade length and ample offset let me know that these were irons designed with playability in mind, but overall the dimensions and proportions were excellent and framed the ball nicely.

From a shelf appeal point of view, it is a case of nearly but not quite for me. I am generally someone who appreciates a minimalist approach to looks when it comes to golf equipment and the C524 irons are just a touch fussy for my tastes from the back. I don’t mind a subtle accent color but the bright blue badge just wasn’t for me, although that is just personal preference and some players may love it. I just feel that leaving that black or grey would have given the iron a slightly more premium look and feel.

In terms of the tech, there is quite a lot going on. At first glance, you could be forgiven for thinking that these were a hollow-body construction iron as there is no visual cavity, however, this is somewhat of an optical illusion. The cavity has simply been filled with Tour Edge’s VIBRCOR, which is a high-grade TPU designed to improve sound and feel.

Additional toe weighting has been added to the set with the intention of stabilizing impact and providing additional ball speed on off-center strikes.

I tested the Tour Edge Hot Launch C524 irons at Saunton Golf Club , using my FullSwing KIT launch monitor and TaylorMade TP5 golf balls, both on the practice ground and out on the course.

Before I get into the launch monitor data, I wanted to give a special mention to the feel attributes of these irons. Impact provided a pleasant lively sensation but there was also a real depth to the strike that isn’t always present in the game-improvement iron category. For me, the Mizuno JPX 923 Hot Metal is still the gold standard in terms of feel in this genre, but quite honestly, when coupled with some excellent turf interaction, the C524 iron is not a million miles behind.

Launch monitor data was pretty strong across the board, with ball speed and distance competitive with just about anything else. With the 7-iron coming in at 29˚ it sits within the higher end of its peers loft-wise but still managed to produce a ball speed of 129.3mph for me with a mid-low launch and spin of 15.5˚ and 5412rpm respectively, which culminated in a healthy carry number of 188 yards.

I did notice a slight right tendency in flight compared to some other game improvement irons which tend to feature more of a draw bias if anything, and I wonder whether that has anything to do with the additional toe weighting. It wasn't too severe, however, just something to note.

The Hot Launch C524 irons come with a stock steel option of the True Temper Elevate MPH95 shaft in R or S flex, and there are more weight and flex options with the Aldila Ascent PL stock graphite option. There are also three sizes of Lamkin grips to choose from.

Overall, I was very pleased with the performance and feel of the Tour Edge Hot Launch C524 irons, and when you factor in the price tag, I think there is some exceptional value for money to be had. In terms of raw performance data, I would feel comfortable putting them up against anything else in the game improvement category and be very confident they would hold their own.

Tour Edge Exotics E723 Women's Driver

AVAILABILITY UPDATE Fujikura Air Speeder A-Flex Shaft - Available 06/01/2024

Description

This ultra-premium 460cc profile designed for maximum forgiveness takes MOI to the absolute extreme! The E723 Driver’s extreme low rearward CG position produces an extremely high MOI of 5600 g/cm2, the highest MOI driver Tour Edge has ever produced.

The E723 Driver features a Flight Tuning System on a new sliding track, while bringing the ultimate in power, feel and forgiveness through Tour Edge’s breakthrough 360-degree Ridgeback™ and Diamond Face VFT ™ technologies.

Flight Tuning System / MOI+ -The Flight Tuning System is weighting design on a sliding track features a 20-gram weight at the extreme trailing edge on the sole of the clubhead.

Sliding the weight on the adjustable track allows for a +/- 10-yard heel and toe bias in directional flight. For example, if you were to slide the weight all the way to edge of the Fade position, your flight would adjust 10 yards to the right for a right-handed player, and vice versa for the Draw setting.

The E723 Driver’s extreme low rearward CG position produces an extremely high MOI at a 5600 g/cm2 MOI, the highest MOI driver we have ever produced. This leads to increased stability at impact and tighter dispersion. It’s a 5% increase in MOI over the previous E design.

360° Ridgeback Technology - Tour Edge engineers created a thinner, more refined Ridgeback activation for E723 with increased structural properties and 360-degree perimeter weighting. The Titanium Ridgeback spine running from the center of the face through the crown now wraps around the entire perimeter to frame the entire clubhead.

Adding Titanium to the perimeter, along with Ridgeback down the center, allows more support on off-center hits to increase face deflection. The additional perimeter Titanium has boosted MOI significantly. This Ridgeback spine and now 360-degree activation acts as a brace for the entire clubhead to produce more power across the entire face, including the extreme perimeters.

The E723 Ridgeback design is 15% thinner than the previous E722 model, while offering greater structural support properties.

Ridgeback is designed to create superior feel at impact. The extra rigidity created by the brace through the crown produces a much stronger feel at impact when compared to a full carbon crown and results in a crisper and brighter feel at strike.

Quad Carbon Tech - Tour Edge engineers replaced extra Titanium from the crown and sole by creating Quad Carbon Tech in four different areas of the clubhead. The E723 features 5% more carbon fiber than its previous iteration.

The addition of Quad Carbon Tech saves considerable weight in the clubhead, allowing for the 360-degree Ridgeback design, an increase in MOI, greater face flex in the heel and toe areas so off- center hits achieve greater power.

This weight savings has been re-purposed to the ideal location to help with creating optimal CG location.

Diamond Face VFT - The new Diamond Face VFT is made up of diamond shapes of variable face thickness behind the face. There are 61 total diamond shapes featured on Diamond Face VFT, comprising seven different thicknesses in an interweaving pattern. The face thickness of the new Diamond Face VFT is thinner on the heel and toe on the E723 Driver.

The mini trampolines that make-up Diamond Face VFT create faster ball speeds and an expanded sweet spot. The increase in Diamond Face coverage to the extreme heel and toe dramatically increases ball speed on off-center hits while also greatly aiding forgiveness on these strikes.

For many commuters around the world, a subway journey means speeding from one drab station to the next, surrounded by too many uncomfortable, impatient bodies.

Completely different story was in USSR and now in Russia. In Moscow, St Petersburg, Kiev and other big cities metro stations were designed as architectural wonders. Taking the subway is akin to walking through a national heritage sit.

Depending on where you get off, you'll receive a crash course in such diverse architectural movements as Baroque, Art Deco, Futurism, Modern or Hi-tech, and face from stained glass windows, marble columns, crystal chandeliers, gilded mosaics and painted scenes from Russian history to modern iron and glass.

Russia's first metro system was part of Joseph Stalin's first Five-Year Plan to rapidly industrialize the Soviet Union in the 1920s and 30s. The main idea was to show its citizens and the world the power and possibilities of socially oriented state. All this magnificent underground palaces were build as a transport system for the ordinary people.

Now Moscow Metro is the busiest metro system outside of Asia, the world’s busiest by daily ridership and the 6th longest in the world (200 stations, route length is more than 350 km).

Overview and HistoryMoscow takes its name from the Moskva river, where Slavic settlements began around 500AD. They adopted Christianity from the Byzantine Empire in 988 A.D., and it would last as the national religion for a thousand years.By the 15th cent. Moscow had become the capitol of the Russian state under the Grand Duchy of Moscow, which had been busily assimilating smaller feudal territories while battling the Golden Horde of Mongols. The city was raided and burnt down by the Tatar-Mongols at least three times.Consolidation of many smaller territories under Moscow's power set the stage for Ivan III to adopt the title of "Ruler of all of Russia." His son Ivan IV, or "Ivan the Terrible", become the first crowned Tsar of Russia. The succession of Tsars lasted from Ivan IV until Peter the Great, who proclaimed the Russian Empire in 1721, with St. Petersburg for its capitol. The Russian Empire survived the "Times of Troubles" which saw chaos, invasion and several uprisings of the people. Napolean Bonaparte came within 25 miles of capturing Moscow during his disastrous invasion of 1812, but was turned back after thousands of his starving troops were ambushed and killed by peasant guerilla fighters.By the beginning of the 20th Century, Moscow was capitol, this time of the largest country in the world. The Industrial Revolution came later to Russia than to Western Europe, partly due to Russia's institute of serfdom which kept peasants bound to the land. Soon enough however, the emergence of the Socialist political movement was loudly advocating total revolution, and by 1917 the Soviet Union replaced the Tsar and his autocratic rule. This began the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), which lasted until 1991.After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Moscow continues to be the capital of Russia, or the Russian Federation as it is now known. It is still the largest single country in the world. People and CultureMoscow is in the grips of a western renovation, with consumerism and ostentatious displays of wealth parading everywhere. As of 2008 it is the city with the most expensive cost of living in the world, home of the most billionaires, as well as being the largest city in Europe. Getting ThereMoscow is laid out in five major sections in concentric pattern, with the Kremlin smack in the middle. The Kremlin is the administrative seat of power, and its name means "fortress." Its walls delineate the 15th century boundaries of the city. TransportationYou can find information about getting to and from the airports here . Click here for some great tips about the fantastic metro system Here is some more useful overview stuff about the metro, trams, trolleys etc. Things to doThere are many galleries and museums in moscow but here are two favorites:First is Modern Art Museum . and second is Winzavod - it means wine factoryIn addition to these, you can visit the Museum of Geology, Museum of Aviation and Astronautics, Museum of History of Moscow. For art lovers, try the State Tretiyakovskaya Gallerry - with a huge collection of Russian art and icons - one of the most famous russian museum after the State Hermitage in St.Petersburg.There's also a beautiful Zoo, comparing to others in russia.. As for restaurants and clubs there's nice cafe just near the red squre - F.A.Q. Cafe - if you can read russian. There's an old good club 'Propaganda' - it's almost 10 years but still one of the best places to go out every night! Others which are not bad are:  Ikra Solyanka Fabrique RecommendationsWhat to look for in general: Red Square, the Kremlin, the Lenin Mausoleum, the Cathedral of St. Basil, and Bely Gorod which is a shopping district. One more beautiful old place to see in Moscow is - Novodevichiy monastery (was built in 1524 and Ivan IV became a czar there).A good place to visit for outdoor activities is also Vorob'evi Gori (hills) - it's kind of recreation zone on the moskva river with a park and Moscow state university's main huge soviet building on the top.Another thing you can do is go for a walk down Old Arbat, a pedestrian street with ethnic flavour of Soviet times and buildings from the time of the Russian Empire.Text by Steve Smith.
