I went to the complex Hsa ficus at Costa Teguise came back 7th May all I can say is the complex is nice the staff are brilliant now for the bad stuff the food is shocking everything is over cooked no choice its very repetitive if not all had that day yes you get it again there's only so much chicken and rice anyone can eat please get some Chef's what can cook or want to. Like I said the staff are brilliant just the food let's it down. One spoilt retirement holiday don't think I shall bother with Tui again.

Awful Customer Experience!

Awful customer experience from the over seas call centre. Called to add an extra upgrade to our booking, 45 mins on the phone all done. Unable to take my payment as there was a system error, asked to call back the next day. So today I called to make payment to be told, there was no extra added to my booking & it was ‘unavailable’ when asked why I was misadvised I got told it’s not something they can help with. Escalated to a manager, who told me he will investigate but I won’t ever get feedback on the outcome as it won’t change the fact he can’t add it & I am the customer, it will only be internal analysis. Both tui colleagues I spoke with were rude, lacked customer empathy & was only interested in me completing a survey, which I have done scoring 0’s with pleasure! Awful experience tui and will only ever book instore in future!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS JUST DONT DO IT READ REVIEWS FIRST!!

I wish I had read reviews before booking our 10-year wedding anniversary holiday with TUI. We received an email about building works and were offered alternatives, but they were either unavailable or not suitable. Customer service wouldn't price match other options found on the website. It took multiple calls and promises from managers all of which never even called back or resolved, we still don't have confirmation of changes to our booking, leaving us uncertain less than 4 weeks before our holiday. AVOID AT ALL COSTS JUST DONT DO IT READ REVIEWS FIRST!!

Do not book a holiday with this company! My husband and I booked to go to Lanzarote in November having paid the second deposit. I received an email three days ago to say flight going out changed from early morning to late afternoon resulting in us arriving late evening and missing evening meal in hotel and night in Lanzarote. Phoned customer services which were a waste of time and not even offering anything other than a different destination. I escalated it to a supervisor (May) who just kept saying she apologised for inconvenience. This is the first and last time we will use TUI. We have been a dozen times to Lanzarote with Jet2 and will book with them in future.

Exceptional service

Exceptional service provided by c Wallis tui Crossgates Leeds . we Had a fantastic holiday at Rio playa Blanca. However, My car app stated I had left my car unlocked at the airport car park. , C Wallis arranged to have the security, go check that I had managed to lock my car using my app. Completely putting my mind at ease, To enjoy the rest of my holiday . Will definitely be booking again with Tui

TUI.. T otal U seless I diots

Tui are good if all smooth but as soon as there is an issue they are awful. We have booked to go to Lanzarote silver wedding anniversary. 10 days before departure they announced building works. (After looking into various social.platforms and tripadvisor complaints they had known about this for ages). They offered us. 1 cancel, 2 a family run, old fashioned alternative (our hotel was adult only) and 3 one that we had been too before. They suggested I try and find something like for like myself at similar budget. IMPOSSIBLE all the holidays had shot up as so close to departure. I asked the extent of the building works and a promise after me chasing for answer 5 times 'they would call me back' in the end I gave up. Lots of problems but too much to put on here. Summary, overseas call centres don't give a sh.. they say all the right things but do nothing. All in all I made on my mobile and husband's 15 phone calls, endless promises from 'T'otally, 'U'seless 'I'diots. I will go away, make the most of it and then take it up with Abta on return. They need to be fined for the way they treat people, get a UK call centre instead of paying 50p an hour to overseas call centres who have no empathy and read from a script!

Avoid at all costs

The worst service ever! I received an email from TUi about building works going on at the hotel we will be staying at in Tenerife 18 days before with we’re due to fly. I was called by our local TUI and was offered options to change. To cut a long story short all the options were unavailable due to the hotels not being able to accommodate us all. We did find one that we were interested in changing to but then would of cost us more money to change which is a joke when this was not our fault, we found out front the hotel that they informed TUI 6 months ago! They notify us 18 days before! Just to good enough! The lady from from TUi stated she tried to do everything for us to resolve the situation but she clearly didn’t! After all the stress and hassle we are now left with staying put! I just pray that the building work doesn’t ruin our holiday and if it does it’s all down to this s**t show of a company that claim to be 5 star service! I will never be booking with tui again!!

Tui separate young families with children

We are a young family with a 2 year old and a 6 year old. Our flight to Lanzarote from Exeter was delayed by 22 Hours and 26 Minutes. Tui diverted the plane to Gran Canaria after midnight. They refused to provide us with a hotel room together for the night. We were expected to split up and my partner and 2 year old were told to they would be transported to a hotel at the opposite end of the island to where I was expected to sleep with my 6 year old. We were happy to all sleep in a smaller room together in one place as long as we were not separated but were refused. There was no timeline given as to when we would be reunited again. I could not allow this to happen on our first "family" holiday. As a result we all spent the night sleeping on the airport floor. Horrendous experience. They refused to provide us with any food or drinks vouchers while we slept at the airport. I am astounded that a business that prides itself on family holidays would consider this in any way acceptable for a family with young children. We ended up paying nearly £300 to get flights to Lanzarote at 7am the following morning. Tui refused to reimburse us for the flights. Tui also refused to pay any delay compensation as it was due to "adverse weather".

DO NOT PAY THE EXTRA CANCELLATION FEE!! They tried to charge me £800 for cancelling holiday 2 days after booking due to date error, even though I had only paid £240 deposit, read through these reviews someone els has been through the same you do not need to pay this! I completely accept losing my deposit but trying to add another 560 telling me they would get finance team to chase me! Please email them and tell them this goes against consumer rights and you wasn’t told the terms and conditions, I got my email today saying my cancellation fee has now been over ridden! Screen shot my review and the few others on here that have had the same experience and attach these to your email, then all you will lose is your deposit which is fair enough, so Do not be scammed THIS IS CRIMINAL WHAT TUI ARE DOING TO PEOPLE!

TUI - 5 star prices, 2 star customer service

We booked a 5 star all inclusive holiday with TUI to the Dominican Republic staying at the ocean blue and sands resort. The holiday was anything but 5 stars , like warm food, terrible customer service , an hour queue to book a restaurant and a 5.30 am start if you wanted a sunbed with an umbrella. We have stayed 5 star before but this was more like a 3 star service. TUI have been dismissive of our issues since our return. My suggestion is to avoid this hotel and avoid TUI and book with an alternative holiday company

Booking Ref 21719274. On arrival at Montego Bay Airport for the return flight Montego Bay/LGW on 18 March I was told the flight had been cancelled and rescheduled for 2 days later. I was offered accommodation and the new flight which I declined and this was noted by the local staff at check in. I then managed to book a Norse flight back to the UK on 18 March as I needed to get back for a wedding. This cost me US dollars 954. After waiting over 28 days from sending in a feedback/complaint form I have now been told I am not entitled to compensation as per European rules, as I was a ‘no show’ for the return flight! This is unacceptable and very poor service and not what happened at all. Up until now I have been very pleased with your flights but if I could give you no stars for this I would. TUI cancelled my holiday

Booked a holiday with TUI only to have it cancelled 6 weeks before we are due to travel. The "comparable" hotel was not similar to what we booked and they only offered 10% incentive on bookings that were more expensive. A lot of hotels are now much more expensive than when we originally booked and 10% really doesn't cover the extra it would cost for a comparable hotel in the a similar region. There was no offered compensation for the inconvenience and told we would get a full refund if we weren't happy. Really poor service and have ruined our family holiday as now we need to try and find a replacement in such a short time for a similar price.

Booked a holiday of a life time £3000,to Dominican republic Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach with my son . We got there and there was one double bed. Very rude at resort spent half the week trying to sort it out .I offered to pay to upgrade or just get a camp bed no one wanted to know got told to sort it when you get home.Arrived home Travel agent said it was pot luck if you got Separate beds i was shown two double beds at the travel agents when booking .TUI said there's nothing they can do never use them again Disgusting treatment god only knows were the garden view was

Awful customer service

We went to St Lucia with Tui hotel was great. There was no rep at hotel so used app to book a trip. The evening before received an email to say due to insufficient numbers on trip the transport would not be picking us up to go to the Aerial Tram Experience. They said if we arranged a return taxi 80 dollars and gave the Tui rep the receipt we would be refunded. We done this still no refund! Have contacted after travel who told me I needed to contact the Musement Excursion team they can't refund us and have sent us back to after travel team. I wouldn't mind but its not their money the trip was £150 which was overpriced for what it was. If you're thinking of booking a holiday avoid Tui I know a lot of people have had worse experiences but this company do not care they just want your money. We will never use them again.

Cancelled my wedding holiday £16k, 12weeks until wedding shocking

@TUIUK So dissappined with the service at the moment. I booked a holiday before Christmas for the family for my wedding over £16k for it only to be cancelled 12 weeks before the wedding as Tui cancelled the booking from the hotel all they’ve offered is 10% discount with an alternative holiday 25minutes away from original wedding location. Appalling customer service so far, particularly as I can see the hotel has rooms available @hotelcaprisorrento thru @Bookingcom . Super stressed right now just waiting on management emails rather than proper solutions to my wedding!

Scammers. I booked a holiday and 2 days later relaised I couldn’t go. First of all had to lose my deposit for this which was upsetting as they only do free cancellations for 24 hours apparently. But then despite clearly stating the cancellation fees said it would cost me £800. Claiming separate deposits per person when booking and cancelling. They literally sent me fake terms and conditions and denied me when I said they should only charge £240 which was the deposit. It wasn’t until I stated I wasn’t told these term and conditions and this goes against the consumer rights act that they seven listened to me. Thing to take away is know your rights and read the terms and conditions. I did and got charged the correct amount after a lot of hassle. But a lot of people won’t

Risky business

Booked our spring vacation in advance. 1 week ago it was cancelled and the reason was “they don’t have the flight times available”. We called customer service and were offered a flight at 3am. We said no. So then we book another vacation last minute for a decent price. The next day get a notification that those flight times are not available either and we have the option of a flight at 3am… the website is unreliable.

Just flew into hurghada.

Just flew into hurghada. 1/Tui plane staff constantly announcing sales on the intercom. No peace at all. 2/No free water. Never mind anything else. The plane is later 30 mins late taking off and you can't offer a free bottle of water. 3/ Somebody vomited all over one of the plane toilets so that is out if order. 4/ Police are called when we land and escort a drunk couple off. She is swearing her head off at some other people they were sitting near. 5/ why not tell people there is no entertainment system. 6/ plane is crammed to hell. I have sat in economy all my life but this is ridiculous. 7/ hurghada airport immigration. 1000 people waiting. Mental.

Shocking company.. will never use again

Had a trip booked to Vienna . Flight was with Austrian airlines, who decided to message us the day before travelling to tell us our flight was cancelled. No communication from Tui. Had to ring them multiple times, put on hold, transferred, nobody had a clue. In the end we only got the choice of a ‘refund without being charged!).. so good of them not to charge for their lack of communication and organisation!! We decided to give them another chance this year after booking 2 years ago and having our flight changed to an airport 2 hours away in the middle of the night, with a weeks notice. Never again.

Become part of our Nordic Customer Delivery team. We are looking for a Swedish-speaking colleague for a position who will work with complaints that come in after the customer’s return from their holiday.   • Answer customer’s claims via phone or email
  • Investigate customers reported issues
  • Report quality issues to relevant departments
  • 2 + years of experience from a customer service role including complaints handling
  • Driven by reaching goals at a high pace
  • Have great commitment and drive
  • Good problem solving skills and solutions orientated
  • Have an understanding of travel law and regulations and daring to stretch and drive things both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Having a good understanding of Danish and Norwegian or Finnish is a plus
  • Experience from work in TUI’s sales, within TUIfly or leading role in the destination organization is an advantage
