The Real Marigold on Tour cast: line-up, where they go and when it’s on BBC One

Miriam margolyes is back real marigold hotel pals to experience retirement in various countries around the world.

The Real Marigold on Tour has returned to the BBC for a third series, with all new adventures for the cast as they travel the world to explore retirement in different countries.

Born from a real life adaptation of the film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel , which saw a group of British pensioners travel to India to move into a retirement hotel, the TV show follows a group of famous faces as they travel from Russia to Argentina and Vietnam on their exploration of retirement bliss.

And show veteran Miriam Margolyes will be back on camera to take the cast on another adventure.

Who is in the cast?

Janette Tough and her husband Ian, better known as The Krankies, are new additions to this season’s line-up, though they will be familiar to fans of the previous series  The Real Marigold Hotel , as they were part of the group of celebrities who stayed in a retirement home in India for the programme.

The line up will is rounded off by comedian Syd Little, who is joining the show for the first time.

When is it on?

The latest series kicked off on Wednesday 13 February on BBC One at 9pm, and continues for another three weeks at the same time.

Next on the list of places to visit is Buenos Aires in Argentina where Nicholas, Ferguson, Sleep and Leeming experience the culture that the city has to offer with a visit to a late night tango event. While Nicholas and Ferguson decide they want to learn the tango, Sleep and Leeming enrol themselves into a life drawing class.

The third episode of the series will show the stars heading to Hanoi, Vietnam where Sleep, Shrager, Beacham and Little will experience what it’s like to retire in the country’s capital.

Before another series comes to an end, viewers will then watch as Shrager, Nicholas and the Tough couple make memories in Mexico, Guadalajara and Ajijic. However, things take an unexpected turn for one of the cast, when Tough is propositioned for sex.

Janette told The Daily Express : “She was such a lovely lady who was absolutely fabulous. She said, ‘I have enjoyed your company so much. I’m both ways. When you come back, bring some friends with you and we’ll have some fun’. I said, ‘That’s very nice of you dear. I have enjoyed your company in your beautiful house but I don’t know about the rest of it!'”

First of all actress Miriam Margolyes, dancer Wayne Sleep, darts champion Bobby George and chef Rosemary Shrager head to the Sunshine state of Florida. The group then head East to Japan. They experience living like Japanese retirees in the historic city of Kyoto. Then we follow Miriam, Wayne, Rosemary, and Bobby to the Sichuan Province in Chengdu, China. Cast members Miriam Margoyles, Wayne Sleep, Bobby George and Jan Leeming reunite to head to Havana, Cuba, where life expectancy is high. Cast members Sheila Ferguson, Rustie Lee, Paul Nicholas and Dennis Taylor reunite in the cold but beautiful country of Iceland. Inspired by their stay at the Real Marigold Hotel in Jaipur, four of the original residents set off on a brand-new adventure, exploring some of the places, considered the best in the world to grow old. In this first episode they head to the Sunshine State of Florida, one of the world's best-known retirement hubs.

The Real Marigold Hotel Tour sees the VIP senior citizens who survived India, China, Mexico Russia and Vietnam are set to discover if they can survive a UK bus tour.

The Real Marigold Hotel Live is the  first ever live UK tour of the smash-hit BBC series and stars Shelia Ferguson, Bobby George, Paul Nicholas, Rosemary Shrager and Wayne Sleep.*

Over three hit TV series, famous senior citizens tried out retirement in India other countries around the world. From embarrassing etiquette failures in Japan, mastering the tango in Argentina, tackling overnight trains in Vietnam and enduring age defying treatments in Russia, they survived to tell the tales…. well nearly!

Rosemary Shrager said: “The experience of the trips I went on was quite simply life changing for me. They were exhilarating and I discovered so much about myself through getting to know some truly wonderful people of my age from totally different cultures. But what you saw on screen is only half the story –  on this live tour we’ll be letting you in on lots of secrets behind the filming and hilarious events the producers left out of the final edit.”

Now our VIP travellers are set to reveal hilarious insights from their global adventures in theatres across the UK, opening at Cheltenham Town Hall on October 16 (full tour dates attached).

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.
