Not only do I never have the time, but I often get oversaturated by the vast amount of information found online and the fear of getting scammed.

Over the years, I've found the best websites and apps to help smooth out the planning process. These apps help me keep track of all my reservations, send me booking reminders, and guarantee I always find the best prices -- because there is nothing worse than falling for tourist traps or overpriced offerings. 

Whether you are a spontaneous or a nitty-gritty planner traveler, ZDNET has tested and reviewed the best trip planner apps on the market. When planning my trips, I always make a stop at the Booking.com app, especially when reserving hotels. I find their user interface visually appealing and easy to use, and that it provides just the right amount of information I need when scrolling through hotel suggestions. Personally, I enjoy that I can add my top picks to my favorites with a quick tap of a heart, glance through reviews, look at cancellation policies, and even find out how far away hotels are from key spots. Through Booking.com, you can also book flights, car rentals, taxis, and city attractions, making it a great all-in-one place to plan and book upcoming weekend getaways or longer vacations. While I have personally never used the car rentals, taxis, or city attractions components of the app, I enjoy knowing that if I ever needed to, I can quickly hop on my phone and glance at the latest offerings. 

My favorite feature when using Booking.com to plan trips is the offers and promotions it displays for users. In the app, when you click your profile, you can see your "Genius" loyalty program status as well as discover the best deals around the world for your specific chosen dates. My only critique of Booking.com is that it does not enable group trip planning or let you organize your bookings per trip. This means if you are planning a trip with a friend, only one person can book and have access to reservations.

When you first create an account, TripIt will sync with your inbox and automatically add all of your upcoming flights and reservations to your account. You can then modify each trip to include as little or as much information as you'd like. As someone who likes to be spontaneous when traveling, I usually only add the essentials: flight information, hotel reservations, and important documents. However, if you like to plan your trips down by the hour, you can also include activities, restaurant reservations, transportation, and more in your trip plan to share with fellow travelers.

As your trip approaches, TripIt will also send you packing reminders, give you COVID-19 travel guidance, and show transportation options. While you can get most of the essential features within the free version of the app (this is the one I use), you can also pay $49 a year to get advanced features such as check-in reminders, real-time flight alerts, point tracking, and even notifications for drops in airfare prices. 

Keep in mind that while TripIt gives you transportation options and finds places near your hotel, you cannot book or make any reservations directly from the app. The app is solely used to organize and keep track of all of your travel plans in one place, no matter where you book them.

Guide is an innovative AI travel planning tool that creates personalized travel itineraries based on your preferences. (Full disclosure, it's also owned by ZDNET's sister company. It's currently in private beta, but you can join a wait list.) All you need to do is select your destination, the dates, whether you are traveling alone or in a group, your budget, and the types of activities you are looking for, and Guide will do the planning. 

After generating a trip itinerary for you based on your prompt, Guide then lets you modify and customize the itinerary to your liking. I recently used Guide to plan a six-day trip to Austin, Texas, and this was the feature I enjoyed the most, since I had specific restaurants and activities I wanted to incorporate into my trip, but I also needed some additional recommendations. While you can't book flights or restaurant reservations through Guide, you can book and find great hotel deals powered by Expedia on the platform. 

Guide will also give you an overall budget for your trip, a packing list, and a comprehensive list of things to know about your destination -- which may be helpful for some more than others. While my trip to Austin was a solo trip, Guide has a feature where you can invite other fellow travelers to collaborate in planning your trip through Guide's chatbot, GuideBot. This chatbot also works sort of like ChatGPT, where you can ask GuideBot questions about your trip, your destination, or recommendations. Keep in mind you can not ask GuideBot to directly modify your trip for you, and instead need to manually do it yourself -- believe me, I tried.

I first discovered Omio when a friend recommended it to me while I was studying abroad in Spain, and ever since I downloaded it, it has become my go-to app for booking the best deals and fares on transportation within Europe. The concept behind Omio is simple: You plug in your departure and arrival location, including the number of people you are traveling with, and add whether you are looking for a one-way or round-trip journey. Omio will then show you the best deals by train, bus, or plane to and from your desired destination, including how much time each option will take you and the number of stops. 

The German-based travel booking site is great at aggregating travel information from multiple sites, allowing you to view all of your transportation options in one place. This is incredibly beneficial when planning trips within Europe since there are several ways you can cross each border and often various languages and regulations to keep in mind. Omio is set in English but has multiple additional languages available, as well as currency options. During my time abroad, I solely used Omio to book all of my transportation, including planning a 17-day trip across seven different European countries. Overall, using Omio was not only convenient and seamless but also helped me save hundreds of dollars by helping me maximize my travel time by switching between flights, trains, and buses. 

However, since returning from Europe, I have not used Omio as much as I thought I would -- maybe because I have a car and take most of my trips by plane. And Omio's flight deals and suggestions are not the strongest compared to Booking.com or Skyscanner's, which heavily focus on flight deals. I have also found they have some limitations depending on the country or city you are traveling in. Be mindful of the deals and tickets you buy through Omio since some tickets are non-refundable, and some customers complain their customer service is not the best -- although I have yet to have any issues with them.

If you have waited over two weeks since we mailed your passport, call us at 1-877-487-2778  (or  1-888-874-7793  if you are deaf or hard of hearing).

We will help you complete a special form (known as the DS-86 form ) which is a signed statement that you didn't receive your U.S. passport.

You must complete the DS-86 form within 90 days of the date we issued your passport. After 90 days, you must reapply and pay all fees, by law.

I applied and need my passport sooner than I thought.

Call us at  1-877-487-2778  (or  1-888-874-7793  if you are deaf or hard of hearing). You’ll need either your application number or your last name and date of birth.

• Get expedited service for $60. 
• Get 1-2 day delivery of your completed passport book for $19.53. One-to-two day delivery is not available for passport cards. We only send cards via First Class Mail.

Frequently Asked Questions

You cashed my check. why is my status still "not available".

Still In Transit: Your application status is "Not Available" because your application is still in transit to a passport agency or center. After you apply, your application is:

• Delivered to a mail facility. Your tracking number may say that your application has "Arrived" at the mail facility. 
• Sent from the mail facility to an intake facility where your payment is processed (check is cashed). 
• Sent by the intake facility to a passport agency or center. 

It may take up to 2 weeks from the day you apply until your application status is "In Process" at one of our passport agencies and centers. 

Problem with your Application : In some cases, it may take longer than 2 weeks if our intake facility finds a problem with your application. We will contact you if we need more information. 

Technical Issue : We may have a temporary, technical issue with our system. Please try again in several hours. 

Entering Your Last Name : If you cannot find a status update on the first try, make sure the name you enter is spelled the same as the name you provided on your passport form. If you have a hyphen in your name, try entering your name with and without the hyphen.

Why does my status say "Mailed" if I just applied?

Your status may be "Mailed" if you received a new passport in the last 180 days, and you are re-applying for a new passport. For example, you may need to use  Form DS-5504 if you need to Change or Correct Your Passport . It may take 2 weeks after the date you apply on Form DS-5504 for your status to change to "In Process." 

Why does my status say "In Process" after it was already "Approved"?

You may see this update if we discovered a problem we need to fix during our final review of your passport. We are fixing the issue and preparing to print a new passport for you. 

Will I receive my new passport and my documents back in one envelope?

You will get multiple mailings. The number of mailings depends on what document(s) you asked for.

Passport Book : You may get your new passport and citizenship documents in two mailings. You may wait 8 weeks after getting your passport before you get a second mailing with your citizenship documents. We will return the passport book using a trackable delivery service.

Passport Card : You may get your new passport card and your citizenship documents in two mailings. You may wait 8 weeks after getting your passport before you get a second mailing with your citizenship documents. We only send the passport card via First Class Mail. We do not send cards using 1-2 day delivery services.

Both a Passport Book and Card : You may get three separate mailings:

• New passport book
• New passport card
• Citizenship documents

How do I know which location is processing my application and has my documents?

The first two digits of your nine-digit passport application locator number allow you to know which agency or center is working on your application. You can find your application locator number by checking our  Online Passport Status System . The unique digits for each of our agencies and centers are below.

Processing Times

Routine:  6-8 weeks*

Expedited: 2-3 weeks and an extra $60*

*Consider the total time it will take to get a passport when you are booking travel.  Processing times only include the time your application is at a passport agency or center.

Keeping track of travel expenses can be challenging. With paper receipts, email receipts and not being handed any receipt at times, it's important to be organized for both the business and leisure traveler.

Fortunately, for those who are not the best at having a good grasp on their expenses, there are many apps that can simplify your life. These apps help with expense reports, budgeting purposes, tax preparation and splitting expenses among friends.

With something for everyone, here are the best apps to help you keep track of your expenses.

TrabeePocket

TrabeePocket is a straightforward app that allows you to keep track of your expenses for a given trip. Before you even start your trip you can add all prepaid expenses to the "preparing" tab. This allows you to account for your flights and any tours you might have booked in advance. Once your trip begins you can easily add all additional travel expenses. You can categorize your expenses into eight different categories, but with the paid version, you can add as many additional categories as you want if you have very specific expenses you want to track. The free version also only allows you to track one currency per trip, but the paid version allows you to track multiple currencies in one trip file.

Not only will TrabeePocket serve as a place to file your expenses, it also helps you on the budgeting front as well. You can set a monthly budget and have your expenses track against that overall number. If you are earning income during your travel, you can also enter income to a specific trip expense.

One neat feature of this app is that you can take pictures and tie it to a specific expense. This is great for the backpacker or family traveler who wants to remember exactly what the expense was used for, or to keep track of trip suggestions. Business travelers can also use this feature by taking a picture of a receipt if it is needed for a corporate expense report.

Cost: Free; Upgraded version is $1.99 and includes some additional options (i.e., multiple currencies, additional categories, view and export expense report)

Trail Wallet

Trail Wallet is very similar to TrabeePocket, but unfortunately is not available to Android users. With this app, you can add as many categories as you want to separate expenses and everything is color coded to make the app more visually appealing. (Unlike TrabeePocket, you do not need to pay for an upgraded version to add more categories).

When you enter your travel expenses, you'll tie it to both a trip and a date. This allows you to view your expenses at a Month View or Trip View. You can also spread expenses across multiple dates so you can see your daily expenses for a certain trip. This is handy if you are on a daily budget to ensure you're not exceeding the amount you can spend on a particular day.

One nice feature of this app is that you can add as many currencies as you'd like within a certain trip. This comes in handy if you are paying in multiple currencies — for example, flight and hotel costs in USD, but food expenses in euros.

This app caters more toward individual or family travel as you cannot invite friends to add expenses. You can, however, take pictures of receipts and tie them to a specific expense, and then export the images — perfect for keeping all receipts or for business travelers for expense purposes.

Cost: Free for the first 25 expense items added to a single trip; Upgraded version is $4.99 which allows you to enter an unlimited number of expenses per trip.

Concur is one of the top expense programs for business travel. This app is definitely more involved then some of the others on the list, but it has all the bells and whistles for keeping your expenses fully organized. If you work for a large corporation, you might already find that this is the required app to use for your business expenses.

Expenses from corporate credit cards will automatically be uploaded and you can also manually add out-of-pocket expenses. For manually entered expenses, employees can take a picture of their receipt which will be included in their expense report. For the business traveler with many paper receipts during the week, this app helps ensure that all expenses are reimbursed properly.

If you run a small-business, this is a great platform for you and your employees to use as it allows you to manage expenses and prepare expense reports. When I worked for a large consulting company, I used this program on a weekly basis. Being able to keep track of my work expenses to ensure I was reimbursed with every amount paid out of pocket was huge. For solo and group travelers, this is not the app I suggest using as there is no need to pay the monthly fee as there are many other free apps available.

Cost: Fee depends on number of users and account type.

Tripcoin is a very simple app to use that will track all of your expenses against a particular trip. You can tie each expense to a specific category, enter a city location and a defined date and time. You can also include notes and a screen shot to keep better track of every purchase you make.

This app has an atheistically pleasing filter capability, where you can look at expenses between a given date, within a certain category, a type of payment method or within a particular country. There is also a real-time currency converter or you can set custom currency exchange rates if needed.

Best of all, you can automatically back up all of your data by enabling the Dropbox integration. With many of the other apps listed here, if you lose your phone or if your data gets wiped out, you will lose all of the expenses entered. If this does happen, with this specific app, all of your expenses are saved and can be re-imported.

Unfortunately, this app is only available for iPhone users.

SplitWise is one of my personal favorites and an app I've been using for years. If you are traveling in a group , this is the app for you. The best, and unique feature, is that you can have friends or family members join a group and everyone can enter all expenses incurred for the joint trip. The app will then itemize expenses and tell each individual how much they owe to make things equal. You can even designate which expenses should be split among certain individuals. Like most of the other apps, you can also take include a picture and notes for every expense entered.

I have used the app for friend and sibling trips, including bachelorette parties, group ski trips and even just day trips. Aside from travel expenses, you can even use it to split up expenses among roommates or just everyday purchases with friends.

Cost: Free; Upgraded version is $2.99/month ($29.99/year) which includes receipt scanning, currency conversion and more.

Tricount is a simple app, but a great choice for group travel . It works very similar to SplitWise where you can split expenses among multiple travelers in your group. Everyone can add their own expenses and designate the specific amount (or percentage) for each individual within the group. At the end of the trip, you'll then receive a breakdown of what everyone owes each other.

The app supports multiple currencies and allows you to take pictures of images or receipts to go along with every expense entered.

Cost: Free; Upgraded version is $0.99 and allows you to have an ad-free experience.

If keeping track of receipts is high on your priority list, then the Foreceipt app will be perfect for your needs. You can attach a receipt with all expenses entered and all images will automatically be saved to your Google Drive account. Additionally, all email receipts can be tracked as well by forwarding them directly to Foreceipt email address and including your unique ID.

Other features include the capability to batch upload bank transactions and downloading excel reports for tax return purposes — perfect for those who need to write off travel expenses.

Within the app, Foreceipt allows you to enter your income, bills and travel expenses to track against your overall budget. You can also tie all travel expenses to one of many pre-populated categories.

With these more involved capabilities, business travelers and those who own small businesses will probably find this app more useful than solo or group travelers.

Cost: Free; Upgraded version is $3.99/month ($38.99/year) and includes more receipts scans per month, email receipts and expense reports.

Expensify caters toward both individual and group travelers traveling primarily for business. This app allows you to complete all the simple tasks such as documenting your expenses and taking a picture of your receipt, but goes one step further where you can submit your expenses to your manager or accountant (or really whomever you'd like).

For those who need to keep track of mileage driven, this app allows you to not only manually enter your information but also has a GPS calculator which you can turn on to track your distance. You can also enter your time worked, which helps those needing to track billable hours.

The app also features more than just a place to submit your expenses, as you can keep track of business operations and even set expense policies.

On the feel good front, Expensify will also donate $2 for every $1,000 in expenses to Expensify.org. These donations are given to a broad range of campaigns to help organizations around the world.

Cost: Free up to five scans a month; Upgraded version is $4.99/month per user giving you unlimited scans and additional automatic capabilities.

Track and field fans are encouraged to park in the commuter lot (Maize Lot) on the south side, while fans for tennis and lacrosse are encouraged to park in the Brown lot.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 24-ranked University of Michigan women's track and field team will split the weekend between two meets, heading to Philadelphia for the Penn Relays on Thursday (April 25) and hosting the Len Paddock Open on Saturday (April 27) at U-M Track and Field Stadium. • Two Wolverines will head to the City of Brotherly Love for the Penn Relays on Thursday, with the rest of the team to stay in Ann Arbor for the Len Paddock Open on Sunday. In Philadelphia, Savannah Sutherland will compete in the 400-meter hurdles at 5:25 p.m. and Samantha Saenz will compete in the 5,000-meter run at 7:55 p.m.

• U-M remained in the USTFCCCA Rankings, coming in at No. 24. Three event squads sit in the top 10, with the shot put squad ranked No. 4, and the 1,500-meter and 10,000-meter run squads each ranked No. 9.

• The Maize and Blue split between two meets last weekend, sending the distance squad to the Wake Forest Invitational and the rest of the team to the Jim Green Invitational at Kentucky.

• Riley Ammenhauser set the program triple jump standard, jumping for 13.06m (42 feet, 10.25 inches; 0.5m/s) on her final attempt for the win and the record.

• In the heptathlon, Mia Manson finished second with 4,967 points for the No. 9 mark in program history, setting a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles (14.90 seconds). Clare McNamara also competed in the heptathlon, seeing personal bests in the shot put (13.42m, 44-0.5) and the javelin throw (40.58m, 133-2). McNamara's javelin throw mark is No. 8 on the U-M performer's list.

• Penelopea Gordon also saw a personal best, becoming the sixth-fastest woman in program history in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:13.24.

'Roughest landing': Watch video of plane bouncing off runway as it attempts to land at LAX

A Boeing 747 operated by Lufthansa Airlines ran into a couple of bumps as it landed at LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

Video footage of the landing, captured by Airlines Videos Live , shows the aircraft skidding on the runway and then bouncing off the ground as it attempts to land. The plane then takes off again, flying for a few minutes before successfully landing.

"What? Whoa, whoa, whoa," the commentator of the livestream could be heard saying. "We're getting that go around. Holy moly. Wow. That is the roughest landing I think we've ever caught on our broadcast."

A Boeing 747-8 Lufthansa flight was scheduled to land around 1 p.m. ET at LAX after a more than 11-hour flight from Frankfurt, Germany, LAX's website shows.

No injuries reported

Lufthansa Airlines, in an email statement to USA TODAY, said that Flight LH 456 from Frankfurt to Los Angeles had a "rough landing" Tuesday. 326 passengers and 19 crew members were on board the flight and no injuries were reported.

The airline said the plane later flew back to Frankfurt following "an assessment by the cockpit crew, a consultation with the technical department on site and in Frankfurt and an initial visual inspection," where it will undergo further inspection. Lufthansa did not specify if the plane flew back empty or had passengers on board.

Five things to know: Badgers gear up for busy weekend

Wisconsin travels to philadelphia and austin.

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's track and field team continues its outdoor season this weekend. The team will travel to Philadelphia to participate in the Penn Relays and Austin for the Texas Invitational. Events will begin on Thursday and run through Saturday.

Here are five things to know before this weekend.

1. MIDDLE DISTANCE MAYHEM: A strong field of middle-distance runners will compete at the Penn Relays. Graduate student Victoria Heiligenthal will lead the group in the 1500 meters. Heiligenthal is coming off a 10th-place finish in the 800 meters, running a personal best time of 2:09.27. Freshman Ruby Madden will also make an appearance in the 1500 meters. She competed at the Wake Forest Invitational last weekend with an eighth-place showing, finishing with a personal best time of 4:27.49. 

2. DISTANCE WATCH: The Badgers will have a large field of competitors in the 5000 meters on Friday. Samantha Stieve , Vivian Hacker , Shea Ruhly , Carolyn Shult , and Isabella Jacobsen will all compete in the event, Shult is coming off a personal best time in the event, while Stieve will compete in her first meet of the 2024 season.  

3. ADDING A SPARK: Sprint star Kiley Robbins will compete in the 100-meter dash and the 200 meters this weekend. She is coming off a win in the 100 meters, crossing in 11.37 seconds at the Cerritos Invitational. Robbins is ranked No.4 in the Big Ten in the 100 meters, with a season-best time of 11.29 seconds. She will be joined by Sydney Robinson . 

4. THROWING DOWN WITH THE BADGERS: UW throwers will compete in Austin this weekend.  Graduate student Olivia Roberts will compete in the hammer throw this weekend, along with teammates Danni Langseth , Chikere Oduocha , and Abby Peeler . Roberts ranks second all-time at UW with a personal best mark of 209 feet, 9 inches (63.93m). 

Redshirt sophomore Danni Langseth will also compete in the discus throw and shot put. Two weekends ago at the Beach Invitational, she picked up a fourth-place finish in the shot put. Langseth threw for a personal best distance of 53-11 ¾ (16.45m), moving her up to sixth on UW's All-Time performance list

5. MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The Badger Challenge will take place on Friday, May 3. Field Events will begin at 1 p.m., and running events at 3 p.m. at McClimon Track/Soccer Complex.

Track and Field Wraps Up Regular Season At Ward Haylett Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. — In its final tuneup before the postseason, University of Missouri track and field will travel to Manhattan, Kansas, for the Ward Haylett Invitational, which will take place from Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27.

• Two weeks ago, the Tigers traveled to southern California to compete in a pair of competitions at the Pacific Coast Invitational and Beach Invitational, both hosted by Long Beach State.
• Euphenie Andre strengthened her bid for a second consecutive NCAA Round One appearance by winning the women's triple jump competition with a 12.94m leap.
• In the men's discus competitions, Mitch Weber placed in the top-three at both the Pacific Coast Invitational and Beach Invitational, earning third- and second-place finishes, respectively.
• Steven Marks made his mark in the 100m dash, posting a 10.39 sprint that ranks ninth on Mizzou's program top-10 list.
• In distance competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational, four Tigers posted program top-10 marks.
• In the 10,000m, Mikayla Reed (34:12.97) and Austin Popplewell (29:30.91) each posted Missouri's eighth-best time in the women's and men's competition, respectively.
• Kaia Downs improved her standing within the program's top-10 list, jumping a pair of spots to No. 8 in the women's 3000m steeplechase (10:46.04).
• In the women's 5000m, Jenna Schwartz secured the No. 9 spot in program history, finishing in 16:21.09 to take fifth in the race.
• In southern California, the Tigers had a banner weekend in the men's discus throw event, with four competitors posting their best marks of the 2024 campaign to put themselves in prime position for an NCAA Round One spot.
• Mitch Weber came less than half a meter away from his personal best set in 2021, posting a 60.58m mark at the Beach Invitational, a mark which ranks seventh in the NCAA West Region Qualifying List.
• Skylar Coffey follows not far behind in 12th on the NCAA West Region Qualifying List after he hit a personal-best 58.24m throw that ranks seventh in program history.
• Tarique George jumped into the top 20 of the regional qualifying list with a personal-best throw of 56.84m that slots into 10th place in Missouri's program record book.
• Rece Rowan rounds out the list at 22nd in the region with a 56.56m mark that came within a quarter meter of his personal best.
• In his first year as a Tiger, Skylar Coffey has made a major impact as a member of Missouri's throws unit.
• With his 58.24m PB at the Beach Invitational, Coffey has put himself in position to make his second career NCAA Round One appearance after advancing in 2022.
• With an 18.04m shot put mark in his season-opening performance at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, Coffey ranks 26th on the NCAA West Region Qualifying List, where he is in position to qualify for his first NCAA Round One in the event.
• A trio of Tigers competing in the javelin throw this weekend hope to continue their strong campaigns in the lead up to postseason competition.
• After earning USTFCCCA All-America First Team honors in 2023, Skylar Ciccolini is hoping to make a run at her third NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance, ranking 15th in the NCAA West Region with a 52.43m mark at the Pepsi Florida Relays.
• Erin Zimmerman is looking to make her fourth consecutive trip to NCAA Round One. She sits 19th on the qualifying list after her 51.18m mark set at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
• In his first year with Missouri, Callan Saldutto is looking to make his third NCAA Round One appearance with a 66.27m throw at the Pepsi Florida Relays, which ranks 31st on the NCAA West Region Qualifying List.

Travel information | Spurs vs Arsenal, including details of TfL track closures

Fans attending our home Premier League derby against Arsenal on Sunday (kick-off 2pm UK) are advised to take note of the following travel information, which includes details of TfL track closures....

Reminder - Regional Coach service available

Our Regional Coach service, operating from a number of destinations, including new routes within Spurs supporter heartlands, is available for all home matches.

Scheduled track closures

There are several scheduled track closures in London on Sunday including the Bakerloo Line and sections of the London Overground.

There will be no service on the Bakerloo Line for the entire day.

On the London Overground: There will be no service between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction until 10am. There will be no service between South Tottenham and Barking Riverside until 12.30pm, there will also be no service between Barking and Barking Riverside before the match and there will be no service between Euston and Watford Junction throughout the day.

Please note that Bruce Grove and Silver Street stations will be closed two hours post-match on Sunday 28 April.

White Hart Lane

Six trains per hour are expected to call at White Hart Lane in both directions two hours pre-match and two hours post-match, all trains will be made up of eight carriages. This service will reduce to four trains per hour in both directions outside of these times.

Supporters travelling to Liverpool Street post-match are reminded that Northumberland Park services have greater capacity to those from White Hart Lane and are faster because they have fewer stops.

White Hart Lane is a fully accessible station.

Tottenham Hale

Tottenham Hale is a fully accessible station with access to and between Victoria line and Greater Anglia services. Greater Anglia platforms are fully accessible from the concourse, which has entry and exit ramps. Supporters are advised that the escalator descending to underground services is currently out of use. The lift is still in use. Please allow extra time for queues or, alternatively, use Greater Anglia services to Liverpool Street and Stratford stations.

Supporters using the Victoria line, including wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, are advised to use Tottenham Hale rather than Seven Sisters as it is a shorter journey to and from the stadium.

Northumberland Park

Greater Anglia will operate two trains per hour northbound pre-match between Liverpool Street and Cambridge North, Stratford and Hertford East and Stratford and Meridian Water calling at Northumberland Park to provide six trains per hour before the match. The half-hourly northbound Stansted Express trains will call at Northumberland Park after the match to provide eight trains per hour.

There will be 10 trains per hour operating southbound via Northumberland Park throughout the day. Of these, two trains per hour will operate each way between Liverpool Street and Hertford East, Liverpool Street and Cambridge, Stratford and Bishops Stortford and Stratford and Meridian Water, respectively. The Stansted Express will be in operation before and after the match, increasing the service to 10 trains per hour.

Supporters are advised to use Northumberland Park if using Greater Anglia services as it is a shorter distance to the stadium than Tottenham Hale.

Seven Sisters

Victoria line services will be operating every 2-3 minutes in both directions pre and post-match.

Pre-match, the Birstall Road diversion route will be in place at Seven Sisters station for interchange between the Victoria line and London Overground services to avoid congestion on the northbound platform.

Queue management

Queue management systems will be in place at all stations.

Supporters are asked to respect and work with staff at our stations and follow their instructions at all times.

At each station, the support staff provided are in contact with the Station Managers and platform staff who will direct them as to when it is necessary to put in place and release ‘queue holds’. It is therefore essential that you follow their guidance for both your own safety and the safety of those around you.

The Club does not tolerate any form of abuse towards the teams that are located at these transport hubs to assist you on your homeward journeys and reserves the right to take appropriate action against anyone found to be acting in an aggressive and/or abusive manner towards staff.

Shuttle buses

Supporters are reminded that the Club operates a free Shuttle Bus service from Wood Green (Piccadilly Line) and Alexandra Palace (Great Northern) stations to the stadium.

The Great Northern line will operate at five trains per hour each way through Alexandra Palace throughout the day.

For supporters wishing to cycle to the stadium, bike stands are available at Tottenham Community Sports Centre and St Francis De Sales School, which are both located on the High Road. Dedicated bicycle parking is also available on-street around the stadium.

Although our Bag Policy still applies, stewards will be briefed regarding cyclists’ need to carry helmets, puncture kits and removable seats into the stadium.

Road closures

Please note, our major event day road closure measures will be in place.

TfL bus services will return to normal operation as soon as possible after the local road closures are lifted. More information on road closures can be found below.

Outback helicopter rescue prompts travel warning from authorities ahead of remote dry season tourism

Travellers set to explore one of northern Australia's most renowned tourist destinations are being urged to properly prepare for remote travel as the Kimberley region welcomes visitors for the dry season. 

On Sunday, Kununurra police rescued a tourist and his passenger by helicopter after they became stranded for two days in a remote area of the East Kimberley.

John Small's vehicle broke down after travelling through floodwater on the Duncan Highway, where he managed to contact authorities through the SOS mode on his phone.

Mr Small said he packed enough food and water to last 10 days and, after his experience, urged other visitors to check road conditions ahead of travel. 

"I would go and check with the local police to see what was open and what was closed … always carry extra water and always carry some tucker," he said. 

Kununurra Acting Officer In Charge Gerard Gibson said Mr Small was stuck in an area where no other vehicles were passing through.

He said the Kimberley landscape was unlike anywhere else in the country and required extra precautions.

"People may underestimate the conditions, temperatures, vastness. So we ask people to do as much research as they can about where they're travelling," Senior Sergeant Gibson said.

Travellers urged to stock supplies

Sergeant Cameron Willis is a Kimberley police officer and also works as a search mission controller in land search operations.

As tourists descend upon the region, Sergeant Willis said it was important for travellers' vehicles and communication systems to be prepared ahead of their journey.

"Carry enough water and supplies, always let someone know where you're going and. if you can, carry a personal locator beacon, which activates a GPS signal that goes off to AMSA, which is the Australian Maritime Safety Agency," he said.

A majority of the West Kimberley's national parks reopened for the season this week  after major closures last year due to a one-in-100-year flood event.

Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions parks and visitor services regional leader Sarah Mullineux said people venturing on hikes needed to take extra care as well as being croc-wise.

"For most of them you're walking through riverbeds sometimes, uneven surfaces, even clambering over rocks to go through a trail and experience an amazing sight," she said.

"So just being really prepared, sun smart, and considering the heat risk."

Beautiful but remote

Sergeant Willis said while the Kimberley was a beautiful part of the world to explore, the remoteness and lack of knowledge were often how people ran into trouble.

"Sometimes it's hundreds and hundreds of kilometres between certain towns and if you get off the beaten track from where people normally go, then you're by yourself and you can get stuck," he said.

As someone who enjoys maps and searching vast landscapes, the role is an enjoyable line of work for Sergeant Willis. But he said nothing was more rewarding than locating a person who had become lost.

"Finding someone who's lost and in distress and getting them back to their families is a really big thing," he said.
