The game is perfect for me, it's the best of all in the series, but when I save a game later I don't see the option to load the saved game anywhere in the game menu. Thank you

CD KEY??? ANYONE???

This game was awesome 2023-10-09 0 point

When I launch the game it says I do not have enough video memory which is hilarious considering I have a 3080 and a Ryzen 9 5900x with 64 gigs of RAM

LostRealist 2023-09-30 -1 point

For me this one runs without much issue with the NoCD patch. Sadly, the game itself was somewhat disappointing for me as I was looking for a simulation. In career mode, the game very heavily scripts your shots. On the Amateur level I've been chipping in inexplicable miracle shots left and right and after some time of playing the game pivots and starts to cut you down with inexplicably sending your shots off to the parking lot. Putts can simply go opposite direction off your club than you aimed them if the game doesn't want you to advance too quickly. It's very frustrating when it does this and it's quite unsatisfying when you hit a shot that has a magnet in it and finds the pin no matter what. It's quite typical EA bullshit for this era, the FIFA games of this time were also MAJOR offenders in the "Nintendo hard" category. That's my two cents. This game is actually quite lackluster for those looking for simulation, especially compared to the new 2023 iteration which is punishingly realistic.

I got lucky, I was able to play TW 2004 with no problem, but I had to borrow Doc Brown's DeLorean to do it...

@Cameron 2022-10-25 1 point

Has anything changed for you? Evidently the previous solutions did not work

Cameron 2022-05-20 1 point

Seems this one just won't run on Windows 10 no matter what you throw at it unfortunately. I've tried every combination of dgvoodoo, compat mode, fullscreen/windowed and 1.0/1.1 patch and there's no way to get video, only a black screen with intro and menu audio.

MG 2022-02-04 4 points

Mount disc 1 first whatever your method then right click mount in your dvd drive and open This brings up game install folder install and during procedure the install will ask you to mount next CD's 2 & 3 then back to 1 Then confirm close Then patch with 1.1 patch and 1.1 No CD which can be found online When I start game intro video doesn't show but plays audio in background. Let that do it's thing and game should go to front menu of game. Please note this will only happen when compatibility set to Windows 98/ME. No compatibility or other the game will hang after intro. But there's a twist. In Windows 98/ME compatibility you may experience sound issues. Therefore I left compatibility blank and when the game hung after intro press ctrl/alt/del to bring up task manager. Then press cancel and game should go to main menu after intro. Then you have better sound. Only issue you have to press ctrl/alt/del every time you start game. Unless someone knows another solution or you want to just go with the 98/ME compatibility and sound issue. Lastly you may see in modern Win 10 the graphics flickering in game. To solve this right click the game exe and properties. There you will see option at bottom 'Disable screen optimisations' tick this box and graphic in game flicker should be gone.

Ok so i got the game to install but when i run i get the EA Sports logo, then i get the sounds of the menu and the mouse but i cant see the main screen. Is there a way to set the game to windowed mode?

Using dgVoodoo I was able to get the game to run on Windows 10. It fixes that DirectX issue.

I am getting the error "DirectX is reporting that there is not enough video memory to run the game". Does anyone have a fix for this? Would greatly appreciate it.

Any advice on the Media Disk prompt when installing?

Tits McGee 2021-04-07 1 point

If you're having a problem with pre-2010 EA keys, look for a keygen from a guy named FFF. Usually goes by 'EA.Games.Multi.Keygen.(83) or (168) or some other number. I've been using them for the better part of 15 years and they never fail.

Description official descriptions

Tiger Woods is back for another round of golf in this edition of the series. The biggest addition to this version is EA's Game Face, which lets you customize the players' physical appearance. You have the basics, such as hair, skin, facial hair and other general appearances, but Game Face allows you to customize every other aspect, from teeth shape, logos, tattoos, headbands, hats, and more. You may also change individual body mass, muscle tone, mid-section, arms and legs. You also have the option of choosing specific swing style animations, post-putt and celebration animations, and "pissed off" animations for when you score a triple bogey.

One of the new modes is World Tour, which puts you through a standard 52-week PGA tour to earn money, sponorships, and better gear. You can play for up to twenty seasons. The other new game mode is Battle Golf, where you can win an opponent's clubs if you beat them. All the other standard game modes are here, from Skill Challenge and Speed Golf to a Skins Match or Practice.

A new feature is the game's ability to read your console's internal clock, and provide you with game modes. If it's near the end of October and your clock is properly set, you may be invited to a Halloween event where you can win items specific to that event.

All top PGA players are included for you to play as (or against), including Vijay Singh and Justin Leonard. Newcomers to the sport have also been added, such as John Daly.

Most of the courses from 2003 have made it, with seven new courses, both real and fantasy. One of the new courses is Bethpage Black, an extremely difficult course located in Washington.

Like all other 2004 EA Sports console games, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 has the EA Sports Bio, which tracks your accomplishments and games over all EA Sports titles. The more EA Sports games you play, and the longer you play them, will increase your EA Gamer Level and unlock additional rewards, such as a new driver in Tiger Woods or historic teams in NHL 2004 . This feature isn't on the PC version.

Gamers who buy the PlayStation 2 version will be able to play online through EA's matchmaking service. You cannot play online with the Xbox or GameCube versions.

If you buy the GameCube version, you can use the GameBoy Advance to hook up to the GameCube to unlock special rewards not available through normal play.

Same as before with improved graphics.

The Good Overall i like the game and you can find my thoughts about it in my TW PGA Tour 2003 Review . The Bad The guys at EA are just making more money in the franchise (like the NBA and FIFA series) therefore they feel like just improving the graphics is enough to satisfy the customer. Well, i do not feel the same way... In my opinion, improving graphics does not improve the gameplay, and this one is the one adding value to the game. The Bottom Line Care about graphics? Then take it...but if you do not, stick with the 2003 edition if you already own it.

Older games such as this are not affected by the version of Win10 you are using. This only applies to some recent titles.

- Which version of the game are you using ? Assuming you are using the disc based version of the game. ...

I believe Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 is another of hundreds of disc based games that use SafeDisk copy protection (other EA Sports titles from

2004 use SafeDisk), and MS introduced a so called 'security' feature in Win10 - DRM Blocking - that prevents any disc base game that uses

SafeDisk from launching.

The only way you can run these games on Win10 is to use a noCD Fix\hack.

More details in my post at ---this thread---

How do I unblock the DRM? Because if it is impossible, I will never see that game again.

Yes, I did give a link to the site you can get noCD fixes from and a short explanation of how they work, in the post I linked to earlier, but...

They have one noCD fix at ...

--- https://megagames.com/games/tiger-woods-pga-tour-2004  ---

(v 1.0, so this may not work if the game gets patched to a newer version)

- I just downloaded this file as see it is a simple executable replacement.

Once you have decompressed the two .zip folders (there is a second .zip in the main .zip folder) with the tw2004.exe file fix.

Remember to delete the - d - at the end of .ZIP on the download title.

Move or copy the fixed tw2004.exe file to replace the games original tw2004.exe in the games install folder.

You don't need the other files.

( I'm not positive about the .txt file with g5iSGy8= written in it as these are a fairly new thing I don't have with my older noCD fixes.

Image

If the tw2004.exe does not launch the game you may need to put this text file in the same folder\sub-folder the tw2004.exe is in. )

How do I decompress the 2 .zip files after I download the nocd file?

But, how do I delete the d?

Is Tiger Woods in EA Sports PGA Tour?

Is Tiger Woods in EA Sports PGA Tour? Answered

Image of Shaun Ranft

For the first time since Rory McIlroy PGA Tour (2015), EA Sports have released their very own PGA Tour game. And while there is plenty to separate it from past installments, players may be wondering if arguably the greatest of all time, Tiger Woods, graces EA’s game once again. So, is Tiger Woods in EA Sports PGA Tour? Let’s dig in.

Does Tiger Woods Return in EA Sports PGA Tour?

The short answer is no, Tiger Woods does not appear in EA Sports PGA Tour . If fans of golf videogames wish to play as him, though, they do have that opportunity. You’ll just have to play PGA Tour 2K23 instead, where Woods is not only playable but also serves as “Executive Director”. After nearly a decade since last appearing in an EA Sports golf game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 in 2013, the franchise then turned to McIlroy the following year before licensing deals expired.

The 47-year-old joining up with 2K this past year doesn’t seem to have effected EA, however, who have gone back to the drawing board with their latest offering in hopes of offering the most authentic experience possible to players. Additionally, there are plenty of other pros to choose from, such as Jordan Spieth, Scottie Schefler, Nelly Korda, and Lexi Thompson just to name a handful.

That’s all you need to know with regards to whether or not Tiger Woods is in EA Sports PGA Tour . For more in-game information, be sure to check what else Twinfinite has to offer at the links below.

Tiger Woods Is Back at Valhalla, Where Half a Lifetime Ago He Won a Duel for the Ages

Pat forde | may 14, 2024.

Tiger Woods walked in a birdie putt in a playoff against Bob May in the 2000 PGA Championship.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — He’s exactly twice the age now that he was then, a middle-aged man playing in the lengthening twilight shadow of his own greatness. The baggy pants and billowy shirt he wore while famously finger-pointing a birdie putt into the hole here in 2000 have been replaced by tighter clothes, layers of muscle and layers of scar tissue. Tiger Woods is back at Valhalla Golf Club, half a lifetime after one of the great performances of his career.

Back then, Woods was 24 years old and at the absolute peak of his powers, on his way to a Tiger Slam of the four major championships. Today he is an achy 48, hoping this week to play 72 holes in a major other than the Masters for the first time since 2020.

Yet even if Woods is a diminished threat to win, he remains the golfer everyone most wants to see. By the weekend our attention likely will be diverted elsewhere in this 106th PGA, but on a practice-round Monday, Woods was the only golfer who drew thousands along for his walk across this rolling bluegrass course east of Louisville, Ky.

This particular demographic of fans probably doesn't give a rip about LIV Golf or the internal angst of the PGA Tour. The people just want to be near the aging legend as he walked among them—perhaps for the last time at this course.

“You the man, bro,” a Louisville Metro Police officer called out as Tiger walked from the 12th green to 13th tee Monday. The cop exhaled and said out loud, but seemingly to himself, “O.K., I got that out of the way.” This seemed like a box the cop needed to check.

Woods toured the front nine at Valhalla on Sunday. He canvassed the back nine Monday — by himself, no playing partners, though ESPN analyst Andy North joined Woods for the 18th hole. That followed a practice round over the course last week.

Woods was dressed in his new apparel line, Sun Day Red, after 27 years with Nike.

Woods smiled blandly at the gallery as fans shouted comments, all of which he has certainly heard a thousand times before. He occasionally waved in acknowledgement of applause. He signed autographs for 3 1/2 minutes after his practice was complete. But mostly he was here to work, gathering intel on a course he knows but has changed over the years.

Woods flipped out his yardage book—with a Stanford cover—on every hole Monday. He took copious notes, especially on the greens. Assuredly he had some Valhalla observations from the old days written into the book, comparing then versus now.

The greatest change from 2000 to ’24 is Woods himself, of course. Triumph, scandal, a major car wreck and the mundane passing of time have all left their imprint on the world’s most interesting athlete of the last 30 years.

Woods arrived at Valhalla in 2000 fully deified, seemingly on an inevitable track toward becoming the greatest golfer in history. He’d won four majors to that point, with Jack Nicklaus’s record 18 looming in the distance looking easily surmountable.

He was coming off jaw-dropping victories at historic venues—a perfect U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, a blistering British Open at St. Andrews. Combined margin of victory in those two majors was a staggering 23 shots. Everyone was certain this PGA would be major No. 5.

Tiger Woods watches a shot at the 2000 PGA Championship.

Everyone was right. But it was far more difficult than envisioned, a dramatic playoff victory laced with pressure.

The man who pushed Tiger Woods to the brink of stunning defeat was a nobody . Bob May never won a PGA Tour event and only came close once, on a steamy August weekend at Valhalla against the hottest golfer in the world.

It took 75 holes for Woods to beat May, not shaking free of the journeyman until chasing in a 25-foot birdie on No. 16, the first hole of a three-hole playoff. Before that, May played the best golf of his life from the second round on, putting a pair of 66s on the board on Friday and Saturday to earn a pairing with Tiger on Sunday.

Woods led by a shot when they went to the first tee. Dressed in Sunday red, the expectation was that he would quickly put May in the rearview mirror and roll to victory as easily as he had at Pebble and St. Andrews. Instead, the two men delivered a duel that lives in PGA lore.

May birdied the second hole and Woods bogeyed, flipping the leaderboard. Then May birdied No. 4, taking a two-shot lead. Woods tied it up heading to the back nine.

May birdied No. 11 to retake the lead and continued to apply withering pressure with one dart after another into the greens. Woods kept answering, rolling in a short birdie putt on 17 to tie. Heading to the par-5 finishing hole, a staggering upset was in play.

May dropped a 15-footer for birdie, putting Woods in a do-or-die position. Tiger was Tiger in the heat of the moment, dropping a six-footer to send the match into a three-hole playoff. The two men were 18 under par, five shots clear of their closest pursuer.

Woods birdied the 16th, then held on through the last two holes. It was his third straight major victory, and he would complete the Tiger Slam in April 2001 by winning the Masters. There seemed to be no stopping him.

Things happened that stopped him, most of them self-inflicted. Woods reached 14 major victories in 2008, winning the U.S. Open in a playoff on a broken leg, then was felled by scandal in his personal life. He was in the field for the last PGA here at Valhalla in 2014, which was won by Rory McIlroy. Woods failed to make the cut in that appearance.

He woke up the echoes of greatness at the Masters in 2019, then suffered severe leg injuries in a single-car accident in 2021. He’s come back to play periodically, but hasn’t been a factor since then. He might never be again.

Half a lifetime ago, Tiger Woods gave Valhalla its signature moment as a major championship venue. That chapter, at the peak of his career, is over. But he still pulls fans to the gallery ropes when he walks by, hoping for one more glimpse of greatness.

At PGA Championship, Tiger Woods is looking to turn back time

ea sports tiger woods pga tour 2004

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In a sport beset by change, recent and unwelcome , a nostalgic comfort is found in one thing that remains familiar after all these years.

There’s still nothing like watching Tiger Woods hit a golf ball.

“His skill level, his talent is still just mesmerizing,” said fellow PGA Tour golfer Max Homa.

The Big Cat isn’t back. Not by his standards.

But he’s here.

Woods, 48, is teeing it up at this week’s PGA Championship at Valhalla, where he won this tournament in 2000 – literally half a lifetime ago. His appearance is a rare treat for golf fans who've grow accustomed to seldom seeing him prowl the links anymore.

Since July 2022, Woods has played in only five PGA Tour events – and he withdrew from two.

The competitive spirit is willing, but physically? That’s his question, and it isn’t going away.

Woods said Tuesday his body feels "OK." That he is “always going to feel soreness and stiffness in my back." That he wishes his “game was a little sharper,” because, after all, he doesn’t play much. He also said that he appreciates all this more, also because he doesn’t play much.

And yet, Woods said this, too, like a man who meant it: “I still feel that I can win golf tournaments.”

“I still feel I can hit the shots,” he said. “I still feel like I have my hands around the greens, and I can putt. I just need to do it for all four days.”

For anyone old enough to remember Woods in his prime, it’s odd – and, frankly, a little sad – to imagine him sitting at the site of a major tournament, having to convince anyone of his capacity to play golf at the highest level.

Being a massive underdog, it doesn’t suit Woods, given the unmistakable aura and massive crowds that accompany his every step on a golf course. But at the same time, it’d be truly stunning for him to repeat his previous PGA win here at Valhalla. Too many of those steps on this golf course.

Old baseball pitchers will tell you, years after retiring, that they’d still be capable of heating up their arms for one, good, vintage performance. The trouble would come with asking their aging arms to keep doing it again and again against younger competition.

Woods figures to still be capable of one special shot or putt or round, “but when that energy and that adrenaline wears off either sometime Thursday or Friday, what does he have after that?” said Curtis Strange , former golfer-turned-ESPN-analyst.

Last month, Woods made the cut at The Masters with rounds of 73 and 72, but he followed it with disappointing rounds of 82 and 77 to finish at 16-over-par, last among those who golfed into the weekend in Augusta.

“Getting around is more of the difficulty that I face, day to day, and the recovery, pushing myself either in practice or on competitive days,” Woods said. “I mean, you saw it at Augusta. I was there after two days and didn’t do very well on the weekend.”

The head tells you he has no chance, but the heart wants to listen to Homa, who played alongside Woods for those first two rounds at The Masters.

“It's always going to be crazy to think he'd win another one,” Homa said, “but watching him play those two days at Augusta, I very much thought he could win another golf tournament. ...

"I'd put nothing past him at this point.”
