Word Trip comes up with challenging puzzles that require you to use your vocabulary to the fullest. The going gets tough for you as you level up. The background changes as you visit new countries by increasing your level. You are also rewarded for your streak of guessing words correctly.

Objective of playing Word Trip

Are you trying to improve your vocabulary? Word Trip can help. It can also help to enhance your cognitive skills. Players tend to become more attentive if they play the game regularly. It can test your solving skills, spelling and vocabulary, and word search abilities. Despite being simple to learn, novices can go through the How to Play guide. It can flex your brain muscles too.

How to Set-Up Word Trip?

Players can download Word trip from Google Play Store or the App Store on their handheld devices. Once downloaded, you must click on the icon to start the game. Players can sync the game on all their devices by logging in using their Facebook user credentials.

Click on the hamburger icon to turn on/ off the music, sound, voice-over, etc. You can also check your progress at the Quest Center to earn more coins. Go through the Help Center if you need help. Connect with Customer Care over emails.

Rules of Word Trip

At Word Trip, players are presented with puzzles. Connect the letters by sliding their fingers on the smartphone screen. Create words of two to seven letters and find all the possible ones. If you find the hidden words, you will receive additional gifts. The boards must be filled with the words. When you find all the possible words of the required length, you will finish the level.

You can connect the letters in any way to create the words. Create correct words in a streak to improve your Wisdom score. Note that abbreviations, suffixes and prefixes, state codes, offensive words, etc., are not accepted. There are options of taking hints or shuffling the letters if you cannot move ahead with a puzzle. If you use them up, you can buy them by paying through coins that you have earned or bought through in-app purchases.

Players must finish the puzzles to win the level. They can take the help of the hints in case they are stuck. On winning a level, you will be rewarded with coins. Guessing the unique words correctly rewards you with coins. You gain wisdom based on how you play that level. It can depict how you score against other players. It depends on your progress and the streak of correct word guesses. Also, view the progress across the different levels too.

Can I log in through my social media account?

To save your progress in the game, log in through your Facebook account. It will save your progress across multiple devices. You also gain coins when you log in for the first time.

What is the maximum level a player can attain?

The maximum level you can attain is 6030, allowing you to visit 178 countries.

Can players make in-app purchases?

Yes, you can buy coins that can be used during the puzzles.

Word Trip is a light-action word-building game with three levels of difficulty, daily challenges, and a stress-free free play mode. Includes online leaderboards!

The goal of the game is to get from the top word to the bottom one by making new four letter words.

Use three letters from the top word and one letter from the bottom to form a new word. Repeat until you arrive at the bottom word—before running out of gas! The game is over when your tank is empty .

Sometimes you can’t reach the bottom word. Press 🅑 + 🅐 to make a pitstop and refuel . Then set off again from a new word.

Earn extra pitstops for the third , fifth , and thereafter, for every eighth word you reach. The harder the difficulty, the fewer the pitstops you can hold at once (and the faster you burn through fuel).

Enter the iconic green pipe

It all begins the moment guests enter the portal to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, which will transport them through the iconic green pipe into the immersive land. As guests emerge from the pipe, vibrant scenery and exciting kinetic energy surround them as they are greeted by the familiar sights and sounds that they’ve experienced on their Nintendo game consoles – from the towering Mt. Texas Rangers vs. Oakland Athletics: Preview, How To Watch, Listen, Stream

The Texas Rangers continue their 10-game road trip with a four-game series in Oakland that includes a modern baseball oddity.

The Texas Rangers hit the second leg of their 10-game, 10-day road trip when they arrive on the West Coast for a four-game series with the Oakland Athletics.

The Rangers (19-16) wrapped up the first leg by winning two of three to the Kansas City Royals.

Texas had an offensive explosion in the second game of the series but rallied from two runs down in the eighth and ninth innings to beat the Royals, 3-2, in 10 innings on Sunday.

Additionally, Texas’ young rookie outfielder, Wyatt Langford, is nursing a hamstring injury that landed him on the 10-day injured list. Pitcher Nathan Eovaldi won’t go to Oakland, as he is heading to New York for a second opinion on the injured groin that landed him on the 15-day IL after his last start.

The Athletics (17-17) have been a surprise this season. In spite of the off-the-field turmoil related to their stadium lease, temporary home in Sacramento starting in 2024, and trying to secure stadium financing in Las Vegas, the team has played quality baseball for the first six weeks of the season.

This series features a rarity in modern baseball. The series concludes on Wednesday with a scheduled doubleheader, which doesn’t happen often anymore. The Rangers have not designated a probable starter for the second game of that doubleheader, but it’s potentially an opportunity for Jack Leiter to be called back up to make a spot start, as he was in Detroit last month.

Three friends drove from California to Mexico for a surfing trip. Then they disappeared

Last month, two brothers and one of their friends crossed from the United States into Mexico to explore Baja California’s famous surf breaks. Pictures posted online by one of the brothers, Callum Robinson, 33, show the men gazing out at the ocean with coffee, enjoying street tacos and relaxing with beers on a roof deck.

After camping on a remote stretch of beach south of Ensenada, the friends were supposed to check into an Airbnb in Rosarito Beach last weekend. But they never arrived. The last time their relatives heard from the men was April 27.

Their disappearance in one of Mexico’s most violent states has triggered a massive search involving local authorities, the FBI and the Mexican marines.

“We are looking for them on land and at sea,” Baja California Atty. Gen. María Elena Andrade Ramírez said Thursday. “We are making every effort.”

Several troubling clues suggested the men may have been the victims of violence.

Authorities said they had located the burned-out remains of the white Chevrolet pickup the men were traveling in and had recovered a cellphone that belonged to one of them. Officials have questioned three people in connection to the case, Andrade said, although she did not say whether they are considered suspects.

On Friday, several news outlets cited unnamed officials who said three bodies had been recovered near where the surfers went missing. A spokesman for the Baja California attorney general’s office said he could not confirm the discovery of the bodies.

Robinson, a lacrosse player, and his brother, Jake, a 30-year-old doctor, are Australian nationals. Their friend, Carter Rhoad, 30, is from Atlanta and founded an online apparel company in San Diego, according to his Facebook profile.

The group was last seen near Santo Tomas, about 70 miles south of Rosarito, authorities said.

Debra Robinson, Jake and Callum’s mother, appealed for help on social media after days passed without word from her sons, noting that Callum is diabetic. “This is a very dire situation,” she said.

Baja California’s rugged coastline and epic waves have long attracted surfers from north of the border. But visiting remote areas makes them vulnerable to crime, said Serge Dedina, a longtime surfer in the area and executive director of Wildcoast, an environmental organization that works in Baja.

He said he frequently cautions surfers who visit the area to stay in groups, avoid driving at night and sleep near fish camps. “Do not go out in isolated places if you can avoid it,” he tells them.

In recent years, the state has been convulsed in violence, much of it connected to the drug trade. Last year, authorities recorded 2,116 homicides in the state of Baja California — one of the highest rates in Mexico.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in his last year in office, ran on a pledge to reduce violence in Mexico. But while homicides nationally have dipped slightly during his six-year term, they continue to hover near record highs.

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Southern California and UCLA will play two road games apiece against the Big Ten’s easternmost schools while fellow conference newcomers Oregon and Washington will make one cross-country trip each during the 2024-25 men’s basketball season.

The Big Ten released its breakdown of conference opponents for the 18 schools Wednesday. Each of the 18 teams will have 20 conference games, playing three schools home and away and the other 14 once. Game dates will be announced later.

USC and UCLA will have games at Rutgers and Maryland, and Oregon and Washington will visit Penn State.

The former Pac-12 teams will play each other twice.

Each of the other 14 teams will play two road games against West Coast schools.

Defending Big Ten regular-season champion Purdue will visit Washington and Oregon and play UCLA and USC at home.

Make-A-Wish creates lifelong memories for Fuquay-Varina brothers

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two brothers in Fuquay-Varina got their wishes made on World Wish Day.

World Wish Day happens every year on the anniversary of the founding of the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Across the United States, local chapters of the organization work together to grant life-changing wishes to medically eligible children.

Make-A-Wish Eastern NC took the opportunity to grant the wishes of the Shurtleff brothers.

Brandon, 10, had a kidney transplant and is now being treated for cancer. His younger brother Eric, 6, was diagnosed with kidney disease at birth and has also received a transplant.

"They're just normal boys, honestly. They've been through a lot, but I think it's made them have more character," their mother said.

Brandon's wish was a trip to Walt Disney World. Eric wanted a pirate ship playset.

The Walt Disney Company helped treat the family to the trip of a lifetime, and when they returned home, they were shocked to find a brand new pirate ship playset in their backyard.

"We're so grateful and thankful to Make-A-Wish for this opportunity," their mother said. "There aren't enough words to say how thankful we are."

Since it began 40 years ago, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 550,000 wishes in 50 countries. Make-A-Wish of Eastern NC has granted more than 4,500 wishes itself.
