Buying ticket fine, getting on fine however, English guide thru the ear buds was not on the English channel. Eventually found the channel which was ok with a lot of ok info with a few bright golden nuggets e.g 5 million motorbike for a 7 million population 🤔 and walking around it felt like it. The bus was ok, no hold ups and a great view of traffic jams, no a few key buildings and that’s your lot. Obviously saw a few things we may not of seen during our few days here. Complete lack of relevant or interesting information; the information that is given is always cut off in the middle of the sentence and is about buildings or a part of the city that you aren’t at. It did not include everything they list out on the website is “included” and the employees on the bus were not helpful and were completely uninterested in their customers. The bus did take us to most of the main attractions (the weekend route is shorter and doesn’t include a couple stops) but it just wasn’t a pleasant experience. In addition to that, it was hard to get tickets (website wasn’t working and no contacts listed helped, so had to buy in person and they only took cash). I'd walked and visited many of the destinations already and it was great to see them from above and how they were linked to each other geographically. We used it over 2 days and could have actually had it for longer. Some tours sites that we visited were over 3 hours long (eg prison). There was barely any commentary and what there was did not correspond to where we were at the time. We tried to get off at one stop to discover they don't stop unless you are already downstairs. The timetable is of no relevance and the buses leave people behind which is really not OK when the next bus is about 40 minutes. When we got back on there were no seats with a connection for the earplugs so we had zero commentary. Avoid it and save your money. We actually gave up on it and got off. We see more by doing that. You need to download a QR code to get the audio commentary. A few problems, you need to have Wi-Fi access, assuming you have access you then need to have either a headphone compatible port on your phone to go with those provided or have your own with you. Was an easy way to see the main tourist/cultural sites in the heat, we sat on the open roof deck and got great views and pics. • neurosis3000 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles The tour bus with no commentary During our stay in Hanoi we were casting about for an easy and comfortable way to see the sites amidst the brutal summer conditions of July. We booked the 4-hour ticket as this looked to be the best value. A hop-on-hop off bus seemed to be a great idea. It would be air-conditioned and we would have a commentary and be able to get off and back on at significant sites with minimal walking.... or so we thought. Alas, this was not to be. A few minutes into the first circuit, it became apparent that the commentary was not working and all we got was some kind of background music. when this was pointed out to the attendant/conductor, at first, she didn't seem to understand what we meant. Eventually she went forward and seemed to call someone and after a bit of back and forth, came back to tell us that they were not able to fix the problem onboard and that we should get off at one of the stops and get on the next bus which should have working audio. We decided to get off near St Joseph's Cathedral to have lunch after which we went back to the bus stop to await the next bus. Unfortunately, the next one that stopped was the same one we were on so we declined to get on and waited for the next one. Eventually, another bus did come along and we hopefully hopped on. The audio did work but promptly dropped out after about 5 mins. We informed the attendant that all four of our audio had dropped out and he asked us to try different seats. He didn't seem to understand that it was all of us, not just one so couldn't have been just the seat. It continued to sporadically cut in and out but we decided to stay on the busy as it was late in the day and we just wanted to see the sights albeit with no commentary. Not very satisfactory. A few other observations: The bus does NOT stop at any stops unless you ask and nobody tells you what's coming up. On a positive note: the buses were extremely punctual and showed up within a couple of minutes of the posted times at each of the stops. Quite an accomplishment in the traffic conditions. Then when they did turn up the driver didn't stop and just gestured. The theater was not solely used for entertainment purposes as it was formerly used as the Lower House assembly of Southern Vietnam from the period of time between 1956 and 1975.

Independence Palace also is known as the Reunification Palace, this historic structure was used as the residence of the President of South Vietnam during the war, is a landmark in Ho Chi Minh. It is also the site where the Vietnam War ended during the fall of Saigon when the Northern army raided the site with tanks.

Notre Dame Cathedral – Central Post Office

Built from 1863 to 1880, the cathedral has been one of the most recognizable landmarks in Ho Chi Minh. It features 2 bell towers, each with a height of 58 meters. Perhaps the most notable part of the cathedral is the statue of Our Lady of Peace which was believed to have shed tears back in October 2005.

History Museum – Saigon Zoo

The Museum of Vietnamese History features an impressive collection of various artifacts and relics from the country’s past dating as far back as the prehistoric period 500,000 years ago. Moreover, the museum includes a small water puppet theatre and a historical research library.

War Remnants Museum

This specialized museum is operated by the Vietnamese government and houses various exhibits detailing the previous wars the country had faced. 2/ Tour ngày:

• Các ngày trong tuần: từ 9h đến 16h (lượt cuối nhận khách 16h)
• Tần suất: 30 phút /1 chuyến ( không có chuyến 12h00 )
• Thời gian: 75 - 95phút/ lộ trình

* Đổi vé:

- Khách được đổi nếu mua sai vé và bù phí chênh lệch

- Khách được hỗ trợ đối ngày nhưng vui lòng báo trước 15h00 trong ngày.

* Hoàn/ Hủy vé:

- Vé đã mua không hoàn hủy

Sau khi đặt thành công, bạn sẽ nhận được một voucher điện tử bằng file pdf qua email dùng để đổi vé sử dụng dịch vụ.

1. Điểm đón khách và Check in:

- Đến KIOSK màu đỏ: tại: Số 07, Công Trường Lam Sơn, Quận 1 - HCM   ( vị trí: Cổng Trước Nhà Hát Thành Phố ở mặt đường Đồng Khởi và cạnh Continental Hotel )

• Bạn có mặt trước 15p và xuất trình voucher để đổi vé cứng và bắt đầu hành trình ngay tại đây 
• Tiện ích: đảm bảo còn chỗ vào các ngày cao điểm như: cuối tuần hoặc Lễ Tết.

2. Thời gian đổi vé: 

• Vào các ngày trong tuần : từ 09h đến 21h

Lưu ý:

• Đối với vé trẻ em, vui lòng mang theo giấy tờ hoặc chụp ảnh trên điện thoại để chứng minh độ tuổi của bé.
• Trẻ em dưới 12 tuổi luôn phải đi kèm người lớn
• Nếu bạn chưa xác định được giờ tham quan, khi đến đổi vé nhân viên tại quầy sẽ kiểm tra và tư vấn cho bạn chuyến gần nhất còn chỗ.

Bach Dang Wharf is a beautiful park located in the center of Saigon, this place is also a marina and a high-speed pier (go to Vung Tau beach and Can Gio biosphere reserve, we are introducing below).

Operating time at Bach Dang Wharf:( 8:00 AM -7:30 PM).

The distance between trips: 30 minutes.

Including 4 main stations (image below): Bach Dang Wharf (1), Binh An Station (4), Hiep Binh Chanh Station (10), Linh Dong Station (11). Each station stops for 3 minutes.

You can stop at Thanh Da peninsula, this peninsula is a beautiful place and still quite untouched. In this peninsula, there are many old apartment buildings, this is one of a few places still remain the original Saigon.

Here you can enjoy a glass of "Cafe Sua Da" (about 14 000 Dong, 0,6 USD) and continue your journey (to Linh Dong station or return to Ben Bach Dang if you spend a lot of time on Thanh Da peninsula).

Exploring Saigon by waterbus is a great experience when coming to Saigon, however, if you want further trips to Can Gio Biosphere Reserve or Vung Tau Beach, you should try the high-speed boat at Bach Dang Wharf.

At the Bach Dang Wharf, you can cruise on the Saigon River by cruise boat, there are many types of cruise boats, most of them are operating from 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm. You can have dinner on the boat and enjoy the whole Saigon.
