Hopefully it’s going to become a far more mainstream proposition in the near future, but at this point in time the underground sensation of modern heavy music is without a shadow of a doubt progressive metal. There are more and more bands with a predilection for ever changing tempos and time signatures crossed with guttural growls and breakdowns than ever before. While it may sound like underground music personified, the following it’s gotten in the past couple of years on both sides of the pond is growing at a rate of knots thanks to word of mouth, constant touring and some incredible music. Birmingham, Alabama’s very own ERRA are a band that personify the latter two aspects and are also one of the surprisingly few bands that are making the sound their own by expertly adding elements of death metal and post hardcore to the already potent brew. It’s a combination that leads to some incredible live shows with something for every fan of heavy music, beautiful melodic moments, ridiculously heavy drops and riffs to die for. They’re the complete package and the best part is that these guys live for what they do, whether they become the biggest name in metal history or not is beside the point, they will be playing whether ten or ten thousand people turn up to watch them. So with that in mind, there’s no excuse to miss them the next chance you get. Highly recommended.

Rocked! They were so good, and I loved seeing them live. I live for them, and got to say hi to Jesse down in the merch area. It was so good, and awesome to see the band live. Jesse killed it when he was singing, his clean vocals are really awesome and JT rocked it as usual. JT’s screams are as solid on record as they are live. Sean was on point, and Conor was awesome as well as Alex. They did an amazing job, and expectations were high and they surpassed.

Every band at that show brought out an amazing energy in the crowd which was awesome to experience! It was my first time seeing Crystal Lake and Currents, they put on a phenomenal show and gained a new fan for sure. Erra and Northlane put on a tremendous show as well and the crowds energy was explosive for a venue of such a small size. Or so it felt small with how packed it was. All in all amazing show!!!

sunbroreign’s profile image

The show was actually really good for how small the venue was. Just enough people for a real pit if that’s what you’re into. The bands loved being so close to the crowd, helped us crowd surf, let us sing in the mics. All the bands matched the crowds energy. Plus the fact that it was raining during the intermissions just made it an epic night. I will for sure go again when they come back through.

The show was great. ERRA play well live. Jessie nails every melodic vocal. I’ve been waiting to see them since 2013 after I heard the album augment. After the show everyone who wanted, had a chance to meet the band. Great bunch of guys, you can tell that they work hard for their fans and that they are a credit to their actions. Thanks again for coming out to Australia.

Amazing show!!! Great energy. Super fun. Fantastic setlist. The guys in ERRA said this is the longest set they’ve ever played. The crowd here in Nashville was awesome. The venue was definitely packed with major ERRA fans. All the guys in the band hung out with fans afterwards. Took photos. Chatted. Signed merch. Incredibly humble, friendly, genuine, & grateful guys.

These guys should be running the world there music is amazing and the show was so sick, they might have lasted longer if it didnt seem like we were being cooked inside an over, haha simply amazing erra is. Listened to erra on random for a 15 poker session recently, they never get old.

Strong performance despite JT's vocal issues. He pushed through it, and I honestly hadn't even noticed until he said something. They played a diverse setlist, not just focusing on 2018's Neon, but stretching all the way back into their catalog. Will see these guys again.

ERRA WAS FUCKING AWESOME, THE CROWD WAS MORE VOILENT WHEN THEY WERE IN SONTOS PARTY HOUSE. I CAME TO after THE BURIAL, THEY WERE FUCKING THE BEST. I THINK THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE PLAYED THE LAST BAND BUT OWELL.

Northlane  have announced a massive summer package tour of Australia.  The  Dante tour  will see the Aussie metalcore heavyweights joined by ERRA (USA), Landmvrks  (FRA) an d Banks Arcade (NZ) on a five-show run that'll see them hit Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

The summer tour will cap off  what has been a blockbuster two years for Northlane. Emerging from the pandemic with their ARIA #1 award-winning album,  Obsidian  (2022), which has been streamed over 30 million times and climbing, the band set their sights on the stage where they’ve dominated ever since. Thanks to their signature fusion of metal and electronic music, their 2022 album tour saw Northlane perform some of  the most mind-blowingly spectacular shows  Australian venues have seen in recent years. Since then, they've wowed crowds at Knotfest AU, toured Europe with  Architects  and  Sleep Token  and are currently in America supporting  Parkway Drive  on the mammoth Monsters of Oz tour. Northlane recently revealed they’ve recorded new music  with their old friend and revered heavy producer,  Will Putney . It’s been close to a decade since they last worked with Putney on their breakthrough  Singularity   (2013) and #1 album  Node   (2015) and  have also announced they’ve collaborated with some of the most influential artists in the band’s history.

Speaking to Maniacs ahead of their appearance on Knotfest Australia, earlier this year, the band revealed it hasn't always been smooth-sailing in pursuit of their dream, with the bandmembers having to work in a variety of oddjobs to keep their metalcore dreams alive.

A renowned live act, vocalist Marcus Bridge remains blown away by the crowd response to the post- Obsidian era of the band.   "That's such a wild phenomenon. To see people fully losing it next to people they don't know or maybe wouldn't ever hang out with outside of the show.  It's just an awesome vibe. Even just seeing people you haven't seen in a long time and feeling kinda safe to be in that environment again. Everything's feeling like it's going in a positive direction at the moment and we're heading heading towards something good."

Fans will be familiar with return visitors ERRA from previous slots with Northlane, and the Alabama band continue to grow in popularity downunder as they continuously evolve their sound. Recent single  Pale Iris   adding a sparkling collection of songs perfectly suited to opening for Northlane.  French metalcore crew  Landmvrks  will be making their first ever visit to Austrlalia for the tour, adding an element of freshness to the package, whileMelbourne-via-New Zealand heavy hitters  Banks Arcade  continue the momentum earned from non-stop touring since the release of their debut album,  Future Lovers ,  and will be primed for these big stages.

Tickets for the Dante tour go onsale Thursday 28 September via Northlane's website .

Wall Of Sound

JT Cavey & Jesse Cash of ERRA: Our 8 Favourite Things About Touring Australia

Posted on September 27, 2022 by Paul 'Browny' Brown

erra tour australia

As ERRA slowly wrap up their Australian tour alongside The Plot in You (revisit our Perth show coverage here ) – the band have stuck around for a string of headline shows up the East Coast alongside The Gloom In The Corner and Diamond Construct, where they’ll be able to play a few more select songs from their 2021 self-titled album (our review here ), for keen fans who just needed an extra taste of ERRA in their lives.

Before the UNFD signed band head off though, we spoke with vocalist JT Cavey and guitarist/vocalist Jesse Cash about their whirlwind trip across our land down under and their favourite things they experienced along the way…

1. FAVOURITE PLACE

JT Cavey : Victoria’s the best. I love trying all the local things, beers and what you guys drink, and how you get a little loose. That’s always fun.

2. THE AUSTRALIAN CREW

Jesse Cash : Our Australian crew is so sick. We’re in this unfamiliar place and we feel so safe and taken care of in a place that is so far from home. That’s been pretty sweet.

3. ENABLERS

JT Cavey : To expand on that, Australians are like that friend that’s always like “Come on one more…” And then they always convince you to stay out a little later and it’s always worth it and it’s fun. Australians are like the fun friend. It’s nice, I like non-pushovers.

4. CARE FREE

Jesse Cash : I like that Australians don’t give a shit about things in a way that a lot of Americans seem to care. It makes me kind of want to give a shit more. Australians are really good at taking things like more care for the planet for an example.

5. TRAVEL BETWEEN SHOWS

JT Cavey : The interesting concept is the format of how we travel, and experience shows in Australia. We’re flying between shows and the population density versus what we’re used to, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel too different from home. We don’t feel out of place here.

Jesse Cash : It feels like vacation. It’s Canada with accents, beaches and better weather.

Jesse Cash : Obviously coffee, but I think Australians are way too hard on American coffee because there’s very bad American coffee. But when it’s good, it’s really good, you know? Because when it’s really good, it’s not American coffee. It’s coffee from Peru or Ecuador. There are Americans who are willing to go there to get those beans. I know where all the good coffee spots are where I live and throughout most of the country and they’re just not shit. I’ve had bad coffee in Australia, but to be fair, it’s been at the airport.

7. MEAT PIES

JT Cavey : I like your meat pie. I have enjoyed the beef meat pie. I still haven’t had chicken parma yet though.

8. NO TIPPING

Jesse Cash : Last one’s a big, big, big, big, big one. Best for last. Got it. Ready for this? Ready for this? No. Tipping. Oh, that is so nice.

NORTHLANE ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE TOUR Lapping The Country in 2024 with Special Guests Erra, Landmvrks & Banks Arcade

Australian heavy trailblazers Northlane will be back on home soil this February for their first and only headline tour of the country in 2024. The band will do a full lap around the continent with a packed lineup of guests, featuring Erra (USA), Landmvrks (France) and Banks Arcade.  It’s been a blockbuster two years for Northlane. In extremely exciting news,  Northlane recently revealed they’ve recorded new music  with their old friend and revered heavy producer,  Will Putney . It’s been close to a decade since they last worked with Putney on their breakthrough  Singularity (2013) and #1 album  Node  (2015) and, if that’s not enough hype, Northlane have also announced they’ve collaborated with some of the most influential artists in the band’s history. Watch this space, a new era is on the horizon... Supporting Northlane on their Australian tour will be a smorgasbord of heavy from around the world, starting with US progressive metalcore band  Erra . Northlane have taken Erra out on tour with them a bunch of times over the years and are keen to bring them back our way. And we're in for a treat if their new single, " Pale Iris ", is anything to go by. Up next we’ve got French metalcore crew  Landmvrks  coming over for their first ever Australian shows! Trust us, this will be an unmissable debut. Rounding out the lineup are Melbourne-via-New Zealand heavy hitters  Banks Arcade  who have been touring non-stop since the release of their debut album,  Future Lovers  and will be primed for these big stages. As we said earlier, this is Northlane’s only headline tour scheduled for 2024. Grab your tickets early to avoid missing out via  N orthlaneband.com.

"Cure" is ERRA 's sixth album and it highlights and expands on the forward-thinking sound and guitar-driven style that the band has built its reputation on. Following 2021's self-titled release, "Cure" is a stunning execution of both raw talent and surgical technicality. It's as emotional powerful as it is musically proficient, which is not an easy feat to achieve. Yet ERRA makes it look and sound easy. "Cure" is a sonic thrill ride — one that you hope will never end.

The "Cure" title track serves up plate-shifting grooves with intricate guitar work and alternately sung and screamed vocals that ooze with ominous tones.

" 'Cure' was one of the last songs we wrote for the records," says guitarist/vocalist Jesse Cash . "I had this groove riff that I was just so obsessed with, to the point that I wanted to stay with it for the full duration of the song. So even though the song stays in 4/4 for the most part, we're always staying locked into this dotted sequence of on rhythm guitars and kick, making the rhythm feel complex yet easy to latch onto as a listener. In the final breakdown section, we stay with this dotted sequence, but switch the time signature to 6/8 for a few bars, before reverting back to 4/4 to close out the song. These playful tinkerings with time signature serve as a suitable introduction to the approach we took with grooves throughout the whole record."

J.T. Cavey - Vocals Jesse Cash - Vocals + Guitars Conor Hesse - Bass Alex Ballew - Drums Clint Tustin - Guitar

How Billie Eilish fell back in love with music making new album Hit Me Hard and Soft

Billie Eilish hit me hard and soft header

She's a record-breaking, award-hoovering, pop culture phenomenon. But somewhere along the way, Billie Eilish fell out of love with music.

At just 22, the Los Angeles superstar has already experienced more than most musicians do their entire career — subject to intense levels of adoration and scrutiny while growing up in the public eye.

At 17, her 2019 album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? , crafted in her brother's childhood bedroom, made history atop triple j's Hottest 100 and at the Grammys .

That meteoric rise was captured in 2021 documentary The World's A Little Blurry,  which showed (sometimes uncomfortably) how the sudden impact of global fame affected Eilish physically, mentally and emotionally.

Her second album, ironically titled Happier Than Ever , further cemented her cultural dominance, even as it raised compelling questions about achieving that kind of ubiquity.

Her complex relationship with music and celebrity was distilled into a revealing 'careful what you wish for' chorus.

"Things I once enjoyed / Just keep [me] employed now", she sang on album opener 'Growing Older'.

"I used to really not enjoy making music and I still have trouble with it," Eilish admits to Lucy Smith on triple j Mornings.

"I forgot that I started making music because I loved it. And then it became my job so quickly when I was so young that I kind of didn't get to enjoy it as much."

However, on the release day of Hit Me Hard and Soft, her hugely anticipated third album , Eilish says, "I think that I've come back to enjoying it and that's been really nice."

The 10-track release finds Eilish returning to the darker, theatrical tone of her debut album, but with a new-found confidence and studio mastery that looks toward fresh sonic horizons.

There are surprising settings we've never heard Eilish in before: a string quartet, 80s pop-rock, 'indie sleaze'-era electronica and late 90s club heaters.

As with everything Eilish records, Hit Me Hard and Soft was produced and co-written with her brother, Finneas O'Connell. However she had  a greater role than usual in its cinematic, adventurous production.

"I was more involved in this album than anything we've made. And I think that came from pure enjoyment. Like, I wanted to," she says.

That includes continuing to comp her own vocals — the editing process of splicing together various vocal takes to assemble the perfect take.

"The greatest thing I've ever learned to do," Eilish declares. "I'm never not grateful that I do that … all my vocals, and my little synths."

"I engineer a lot of my own stuff … and then Finneas comes in and does the rest better than me."

Hitting the club and the gym

Among Hit Me Hard and Soft's biggest surprises are moments where Billie takes us to the club.

The big synths illuminating 'Bittersuite' for instance, or 'Chihiro', which is powered by bass-heavy funk, snapping beats and laser-lit synths.

"We really didn't even mean to do that, it just came naturally," Eilish says.

"There's like a lot of small moments on the album that we didn't really mean to do honestly."

Case in point: a segue that arrives with a sweaty, dancefloor sheen in the second half of the jazzy 'L'Amour De Ma Vie'.

"This little breakdown track called 'Over Now'," Eilish explains. "That was me and Finneas just messing around, making the kind of thing that we were like, 'No one's every going to hear this'."

"Finneas [and I] had this realisation: The coolest, bravest thing we could do is just put it out exactly how we made it. It's about 'Do we enjoy this and do we like this?'"

With its pitch-shifted vocals and throbbing up-tempo pulse, 'Over Now' evokes chart-friendly trance music from the late '90s and early 2000s. But rather than being targeted to the dancefloor, Eilish revealed the music was designed for her personal fitness playlist.

"I was at the gym all the time in this period. I was doing a lot of cardio," she says.

"There weren't a lot of songs that were right for running and jumping rope [to] that I liked enough that had the right BPM [beats per minute]," she explains.

"I found one that I loved so much and remember being like, 'Wow, I wish there was some sort of way I could put this in an AI program and make 800 songs that make me feel the way this song makes me feel'.

"It's just fun and dance-y and clubby'."

It also reconnected Eilish with an old, little-known hobby of hers: DJing.

At around 15, her brother gave her some DJ software.

"I got so good at it … I would remix everything [and] I was doing it literally all day, every single day," she says.

But then she lapsed (global stardom can be distracting) only to pick it up again recently thanks to Finneas' circle of talented DJ friends.

As part of their DJ mentorship, the siblings were also enjoying going to various parties and clubs.

"I've been starting to go out into the world for the first time since I was young and just biting the bullet and just going outside," she says.

"Just letting myself be, and trying not to be anxious and terrified the entire time like I have been for years."

Making music for herself

Given her immense popularity and Gen Z idol status, Hit Me Hard and Soft already feels like a guaranteed blockbuster, destined for glowing reviews, epic streaming figures, and screaming fans packing venues around the world.

All 12 East Coast shows on Eilish's upcoming Australian tour sold out almost immediately, despite cost-of-living pressures and fans only getting a few days' notice between its announcement and tickets going on sale.

The pressure of those weighty expectations initially hung heavy on Eilish's head when beginning her new record.

"I remember just being like, 'I don't know what people want me to make, and I don't know what I'm going to make [or] what people are going to think!' I just was very in my head about it," she says.

A conversation with a friend provided an epiphany. "I remember them being like, 'Billie, just make what you want to make. Don't worry about what they want you to make'," she says.

"I was like, 'Oh, yeah, right. That's so true!' That really made me think of it differently: the only person that needs to enjoy this is me. And that's all I need."

With the pressure off, that liberating sense of artistic freedom informed the work.

"It allows you to feel more free to just do what naturally comes to you instead of what you think is going to be received well, or be successful, or being number one or whatever."

It also informed Eilish's decision that there'd be no singles for Hit Me Hard and Soft, a 180 pivot from the multiple advance singles that preceded her first two albums.

"Not doing singles, I wanna give it to you all at once," she declared on Instagram  pre-release.

It is a power move that not only underscores Eilish's superstardom — big enough she doesn't need to follow the industry standard of carefully-orchestrated album rollouts  — but that pushes back on the way her young target demographic typically experience music, as individual songs or clipped-up hooks and 'moments' on TikTok.

Addressing the haters

Beyond levelling up her songwriting and sonic variety, Eilish's third album is a showcase for her most powerful instrument: her voice.

Hit Me Hard and Soft showcases her expressive singing techniques, such as the exhale/inhale that becomes rhythmic punctuation on 'Lunch', and impressive range.

She's capable of rising from delicate phrasing to soaring falsetto, or a commanding, full-throated presence, spanning it all on 'The Greatest'.

The record begins with the hushed vocals of 'Skinny', which feels like a loungey companion piece to 'What Was I Made For?' — the poignant, breathy ballad written for the Barbie soundtrack that won the 2023 Song of the Year Grammy Award and made Eilish and Finneas the youngest-ever two-time Oscar winners.

Asked if there's a particular vocal inflection or moment on the album she's most proud of, Eilish points to 'L'Amour De Ma Vie' as a favourite.

"It's the jazziest song on the album, and any time I get to sing in the realm of jazz, I am so happy," she says.

"I really feel like I was born to be a jazz singer and almost like [born in] the wrong generation in a way."

Eilish grew up with a dyed-in-the-wool love for classic, old-school crooners who never had the luxury of digital tweaks, relying on the raw prowess of their pipes to convey a feeling or capture listeners' attention.

"Frank Sinatra is my favourite in the world, and Johnny Mathis and Peggy Lee and Julie London and Etta James and Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald," she says.

"It's so funny because I grew up with people talking about how soft and delicate voices are not as good as big, loud powerhouses. And that's just not true."

"All voices are beautiful. There's different kinds."

If one detected a defensive tone, it's because Eilish is used to facing criticism — 'Billie Eilish only whispers' allegations — of her understated singing throughout her career.

The 22-year-old is comfortable clapping back at critics, ranging from the way she dresses and queerbaiting claims, to clarifying her stance on "wasteful" vinyl variants against Swifties. Addressing criticisms of her singing is no exception.

"I really grew up thinking I was a bad singer because I didn't belt and because I didn't use my voice like that," she says.

"But when I think about it and I look back, all the singers that I adored had deeply precise, beautiful, delicate control over their voices. And that's what I always gravitated towards. And I think that 'L'amour [De Ma Vie]' is a really great vocal.

"When you listen to that compared to something from my first EP , Don't Smile at Me, it's a completely different person. It's amazing."

Hit Me Hard and Soft is out now.

Hear Lucy Smith on  triple j Mornings  from 9am Monday to Fridays.

Newcastle’s post-season trip to Australia ‘not ideal’ for England Euro 2024 preparation – Kieran Trippier

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - MAY 15: Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United reacts during the Premier League match between Manchester United and Newcastle United at Old Trafford on May 15, 2024 in Manchester, England.(Photo by Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA/Getty Images)

Kieran Trippier has admitted that Newcastle United ’s post-season trip to Australia is “not ideal” preparation ahead of England ’s participation at this summer’s European Championship .

Trippier, 33, and his Newcastle team-mates will head to Australia immediately after their final Premier League fixture away to Brentford on Sunday.

They play Tottenham Hotspur at Melbourne Cricket Ground next Wednesday and an A-League All Star side at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium two days later.

In football terms, there is little logic in Newcastle traveling so far for friendly fixtures after a draining season which has been scarred by injuries.

As head coach Eddie Howe has already said: “Being honest, in my position, this is something from a physical perspective after a long season that we probably wouldn’t want to do.”

Yet Newcastle, who were unable to sign anybody in January because of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules (PSR), view their brief stay in Australia as an opportunity to boost their branding and, in time, their marketing and commercial income.

The concern for Trippier and his fellow international players is that it leaves little time for rest and recovery ahead of the European Championship. England also have friendly fixtures against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 3 and Iceland on June 7.

One of those nights threatens to become one of those seasons for Newcastle

“My expression says it all!” Trippier said with a wry smile. “It’s not ideal because it’s a tournament year. I understand why the club are doing it. I’ve done it at Tottenham (Hotspur) and (Atletico) Madrid but from my own experience of it – in a tournament year it’s not ideal.

“But we’re players, we’ve got to do what’s right for the club, for the club to move forward. When we’re there it’ll be good, we’ll embrace it and experience it. Hopefully it goes smoothly.

“Tottenham are doing it. But it’s one of those where you have just got to get on with it. But of course for me as a player it’s not really ideal. It’s not like it’s Benidorm round the corner, it’s 25 hours away. There’s no excuses or anything, I understand why the club are doing it and we’ve just got to get on with it.”

Trippier, who has been suffering from a calf injury, made his first start for Newcastle since early March during their 3-2 defeat at Manchester United . He is not concerned, however, that his absence might jeopardise his involvement in the Euros.

“I’m good. The medical team at England are always in contact with Newcastle’s team, not just about me, about other players as well,” the 33-year-old said prior to the game at Old Trafford. “I’m fit. England know that.”

England kick-off their Euro 2024 campaign against Serbia on June 16.

Head coach Gareth Southgate will name his preliminary squad for the tournament on May 21.

Every Time Travis Kelce Caught Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour (So Far!)

The football star has popped up at a handful of Eras Tour stops in the past year, trading bracelets and charming fans along the way

Travis Kelce continues to be in his Taylor Swift era.

The football star has now seen his girlfriend on her worldwide Eras Tour six times — which makes sense, given that she made it to 13 of his Kansas City Chiefs games this past season (including the team's Super Bowl win! ).

Despite the couple's wildly busy schedules, they've both found time to be at each other's sides for important moments.

"Hopefully, everybody realizes we’re just two people supporting each other and having fun with it, man," Kelce shared on a January 2024 episode of The Pat McAfee Show .

Here, see all the times Kelce has hit the road to watch Swift's Eras tour — so far.

The pair's love story started back in July of 2023, when Kelce attended Swift's tour stop on his home field, the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Weeks later, the tight end revealed on his New Heights podcast that he'd made Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but didn't get the chance to give it to her.

"I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," he said on the show, playfully adding that he "took it personal" when he couldn't meet her backstage.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Let's fast-forward to several tour stops later, when Kelce jetted down to Argentina on his November 2023 bye week to watch Swift in Buenos Aires during the South America leg of her tour. It's where fans caught a sweet video of Swift running into Kelce's arms for a kiss following the show, after he bonded with her dad Scott in their VIP box.

The night prior to the concert, the couple had a cozy dinner inside their hotel.

A source told PEOPLE that the two "looked so cute on their low-key date night" and that "they also left holding hands." The source added that "the crowd in the restaurant briefly cheered as they walked out" and that "Travis was beaming.”

Sydney, Australia

Following the Chiefs' Super Bowl win — and Swift's epic travel from Tokyo to make it to Las Vegas to watch Kelce play — the footballer traveled to Australia , where he caught his third Eras Tour concert in a suite alongside celebrities including director Baz Luhrmann in February of 2024.

Once again, fans spotted him backstage for a post-concert kiss with Swift, and during their downtime, the couple visited the Sydney Zoo alongside Swift's opener, Sabrina Carpenter.

He opened up about the experience to brother Jason Kelce on New Heights, saying in part, "Saw a tiger sitting up in a treehouse. That s--- was f---ing sweet, ain’t gonna lie. Saw a lion close up. Dude, when you hear that [roar] — ‘cause I had Taylor take a picture — it just was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ ”

Kelce revealed he saw "two amazing shows" when he joined Swift for part of her six-night stint in Singapore in March of 2024. Unlike his previous concert moments, he flew under the radar at these two, though fans did spot the couple walking through a mall during their time together there.

“The architecture's crazy," Kelce told his brother on New Heights, adding that despite the heat, he enjoyed seeing "the world's largest greenhouse" in addition to checking out the gorgeous views and "some lovely Singapore food."

Paris, France

When Swift picked her tour back up in Paris in May of 2024, Kelce was there , joining Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper in a box at La Défense Arena to see the 87th Eras show — a.k.a. the one that aligns with his jersey number.

Kelce sang along to Swift's new songs from her Tortured Poets Department album — specifically the ones about him! — danced, snapped videos and debriefed about it with brother Jason on New Heights.

"I don't know if they're just getting better or if I just keep forgetting how they are," Kelce said when asked how Paris compared to the previous shows he'd seen.

“I'll tell you what. Kansas City showed out,” he gushed . “Argentina was unbelievable. Australia, they partied with the best of them, and they celebrated with the best of them. Those three were unbelievable. Singapore was so unique and so fun. And then Paris was just — it was on a whole another level, man.”
