F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix: How to buy tickets for 2024 F1 race

T he next edition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix is on 21-23 November 2024 – and fans are eager to buy tickets for Formula 1’s newest race.

Round 22 of the 2024 F1 season sees a return to the iconic Vegas strip circuit, which hosted a terrific debut race under the lights last year.

Max Verstappen won the 2023 grand prix, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc overtaking Red Bull driver Sergio Perez on the final lap to secure second place.

The debut race welcomed 316,000 fans and 7,000 new general admission tickets will be available for this year’s race in November. The race will again take place on a Saturday night on 23 November.

Here’s everything you need to know for this year’s ticket sale:

Monday 25 March - General Admission tickets on sale ( 10am PST )

Tickets start at $150 for single-day general admission and $600 for three-day (Thu-Sat) general admission, with access to live entertainment and interactive experiences around the strip circuit.

There were a host of top music acts at last year’s event, such as Major Lazer and Mark Ronson, though this year’s line-up is yet to be announced.

“We are building on the incredible success of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix with 2024 promising to be a fantastic event,” said F1 chief commercial officer Emily Prazer.

“Las Vegas offers an extensive array of activations all around town that truly complement the sporting element of the race weekend.

“Over the coming months, we will be announcing an outstanding talent line-up and unique entertainment opportunities. It’s well worth securing tickets now.”

F1 fans left stunned after seeing food and drink prices at the Miami Grand Prix

An expensive trip for a select few fans..

F1 fans have been left stunned after seeing food and drink prices at one part of the Miami Grand Prix circuit.

F1's first visit to the USA for the 2024 season is taking place this weekend, with Red Bull 's Max Verstappen securing pole position for the sprint race on Saturday evening.

Qualifying for the race proper takes place later in the day, with the showpiece event happening on Sunday.

The Miami International Autodrome is one of the most picturesque circuits on the calendar, as it is located around the iconic Hard Rock Stadium and even features a fake marina.

As a result, it attracts some of the biggest celebrities from both within racing and outside of it, with the star guest list this weekend including Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Patrick Mahomes and Kendall Jenner.

It won't surprise you to hear that ticket prices are fairly high, although Campus Pass tickets came in at a start price of $150 per day - $440 less than last year.

However, if you want to sit in the Paddock Club, tickets could cost as much as $10,000, according to F1 Destinations.

Now, several images of a menu from the Miami Grand Prix circuit have gone viral on Twitter - and fans can't believe some of the prices.

The menu is split into two sections - chilled and warmed food.

The chilled food starts off with the Maine lobster roll, which comes in at *only* $290.

A 'fruit refresher' costs $190, while adding caviar to any dish will cost a further $400.

Warmed food prices are slightly closer to reasonable, with an empanada duo coming it at $120. A crispy wing board, meanwhile, featuring five different types of wings, will set you back $190.

There is a caveat to these prices, however, with this being the pricing system for the prestigious Hard Rock Beach Club - one of the VIP sections of the circuit.

That means if you go elsewhere at the track, food can be bought at a significantly cheaper cost.

But F1 fans were still left shocked about the prospect of paying over three figures for food - no matter where it is being served.

That's without even mentioning the drinks prices - with one bottle of champagne coming in at a staggering $3,600.

One said: "There's just no way."

A second wrote: "That is utterly insane."

And a third added: "I'm more of an 'add $3.50 for chicken' than a 'add $400 for caviar' type of guy."

Rivazza 1 Grandstand

Located on the inside of the final corner, you will be sat in a key braking zone for Rivazza, meaning there's a chance to witness some wheel-to-wheel action before the entry to the corner. This grandstand is a short walk to the start-finish straight, and you'll be able to keep tabs of the race throughout on the big screen.

What is an F1 sprint race?

The sprint race, introduced in the 2021 season, is a 100km race to the finish with drivers not required to make any pit stops. At a grand prix that includes a sprint race, qualifying takes place on the Friday of the race weekend and sets the grid for the sprint on the Saturday . Drivers can earn championship points in the shortened race. The winner receives eight points, while the eighth-placed driver gets just one.

On Sprint race weekend Practice 1 will take place on Friday morning followed by qualifying for the Sprint Race, Saturday morning the Sprint race will take place followed by qualifying for Sundays F1 USGP in the afternoon.

Cassidy wint incidentrijke eerste Berlin E-Prix en pakt kampioenschapsleiding af van Wehrlein

Nick Cassidy heeft de negende race van het 2024-seizoen van het Formule E-wereldkampioenschap op zijn naam geschreven. De Jaguar-coureur was de concurrentie te slim af in de eerste Berlin E-Prix. Jean-Éric Vergne en Oliver Rowland verdienden podiumresultaten na de vele gevechten vooraan het veld.

Edo Mortara was het snelst in de kwalificatie in de ochtend op de luchthaven van Tempelhof en dat kwam als een grote verrassing. Mahindra, waar Nyck de Vries normaal gesproken ook voor uitkomt, maar deze E-Prix moet missen vanwege het FIA World Endurance Championship op Spa-Francorchamps, was namelijk het enige team dat nog puntloos was, maar met de pole position werden er drie punten verdiend. Het werd als een overwinning gevierd bij de renstal uit India. Mortara kwam goed weg bij de start van de race, maar het was stuivertje wisselen vooraan, afhangend van wie wanneer de Attack Mode pakte.

Evans mist Attack Mode

Na tien ronden kwam er een Full Course Yellow vanwege Joel Eriksson, de invaller bij Envision voor Robin Frijns die tevens meedoet aan het WEC, nadat hij tot stilstand kwam met een gebroken ophanging. Toen de safety car op de baan kwam, werd de neutralisatie ronde na ronde verlengd, aangezien er tijdens de FCY meermaals was ingehaald en de rangorde moest gecheckt worden eer de groene vlaggen weer gezwaaid konden worden. Vergne leidde de herstart, maar Mitch Evans kwam sterk naar voren en had de eerste positie in handen halverwege de wedstrijd na als tiende te zijn gestart. De Jaguar-coureur gaf de leiding weer uit handen door te proberen de Attack Mode te pakken, maar miste de zone en verloor dus voor niks posities.

Het ene incident na het andere

Dan Ticktum schakelde ondertussen Lucas di Grassi uit in het middenveld en de ABT CUPRA van de laatstgenoemde moest met schade opgeven in de pits. Stoffel Vandoorne vocht in het begin nog vooraan mee, maar viel terug toen iets vast kwam te zitten onder de vloer. Norman Nato raakte de muur en liep een lekke band op. Maximilian Günther verloor zijn voorvleugel op de achterkant van Mortara en kon daardoor niet meer sturen en kwam in de muur terecht. Kelvin van der Linde moest een nieuwe voorvleugel ophalen, nadat hij Sacha Fenestraz had geraakt in de remzone voor de gele vlaggen van Günther. De safety car kwam voor de tweede keer de baan op met nog tien ronden te gaan.

OOK INTERESSANT: Ocon zag Verstappen 'oneerlijke' stap maken: "Ik was toen echt kwaad"

Cassidy verrast

Evans mocht het tempo bepalen bij de herstart, maar de Nieuw-Zeelander wist dat hij nog zou terugvallen, aangezien hij nog een Attack Mode moest incasseren. Uiteindelijk was het zijn land- en teamgenoot Nick Cassidy die als een duiveltje uit een doosje aan de leiding kwam en een voorsprong kon opbouwen, aangezien hij aan het begin veel energie had bespaard. Hij won voor Vergne, Rowland, Evans en Pascar Wehrlein die de eerste plek in de puntenstand aan Cassidy nu is kwijtgeraakt. António Félix da Costa werd zesde en Vandoorne maakte toch nog een comeback voor P7 voor Mortara, Fenestraz en McLaren -rookie Taylor Barnard. Jake Dennis zag een kans op het podium in rook opgaan vanwege een lekke band. Er was zoveel contact dat er nauwelijks nog auto's waren zonder schade. Aangezien Berlijn een doubleheader is, wordt de volgende Formule E-race morgen alweer verreden op hetzelfde circuit.
