All inclusive resorts in California: Post Ranch Inn balcony

All-inclusive resorts have the recipe for an easy-breezy vacation down pat. Start with unlimited food and drinks, add a dash of recreation or perhaps some spa services and finish with loads of amenities. Whereas the Caribbean and Mexico definitely corner the market on traditional all-inclusive resorts (you know, the ones with sprawling buffets, swim-up bars and nightly entertainment), the options in California feel markedly different. There are relaxing spa resorts where the rate covers everything from healthy fare to yoga, dude ranches with upscale grub as well as championship golf, a camp for all ages and even some vineyard hotels with packages so robust you might forget they’re not technically all-inclusive. Wherever you choose, the end result is the same: a stress-free vacation in the Golden State where you're now always reaching for your wallet—and that’s really what matters most.

A SoCal Oceanside Retreat That Has It All (Dogs Included)

all inclusive resorts in california canyon ranch woodside

1. Canyon Ranch Woodside , Woodside

  • Getting There: Woodside is 35 minutes from San Francisco International Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: wellness-focused, rejuvenating activities, spa
  • Rates: starting at $1,250 per night for single occupancy

There’s not a person among us who couldn’t use a weekend at Canyon Ranch Woodside right about now. A few days of forest bathing, meditation, redwood walks, restorative yoga, sauna sessions and restful sleep sound like absolute heaven. Of course, the last thing anyone wants during what’s supposed to be a relaxing spa getaway is dealing with finances. (It’s not like robes have pockets for your wallet.) Luckily, the only “green” you’ll have to worry about at this world-class spa resort is your juice.

all-inclusive-resorts-in-california: Buddha statue at We Care spa

2. We Care Spa , Desert Hot Springs

  • Getting There: two hours drive from Los Angeles
  • Why We Recommend It: a plant-based liquid diet, light exercise and daily colonic treatments help you detox, relax and slim down
  • Rates : from $3,149 for two nights, single occupancy

We're all for indulging in a delightful urban spa —but if you are taking a couple of days out of your hectic schedule, why not invest instead in a potentially lifelong leveling up of your health and well-being? Our PureWow reviewer loved her long weekend at this desert retreat, taking part in yoga, liquid fasting and colon hydrotherapy here. While the dietary regimen and hydrocolonics are part of the daily rate, you can add on a la carte offerings including massages and moisturizing body wraps. This spa has been a favorite secret getaway to entertainment types from L.A. since it opened in 1986, and has recently undergone a sparkling glow-up to its rooms and landscaping.

all inclusive resorts in California: Four Seasons Napa resort pool

3. Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley , Calistoga

  • Getting There: Santa Rosa and Sacramento airports are 13 and 54 miles away, respectively
  • Why We Recommend It: world-class service in a serene setting
  • Rates: from $769 per night

California has no shortage of wine-soaked destinations , but this posh resort—long known for having the best service in the biz—has a special all-inclusive "vine and dine" experience that's off the charts. Book a two-night stay with this added package and enjoy a wine tasting at the nearby Elusa Winery, then use a $500 credit at one of the resort's two fine dining establishments, including the Michelin-starred Auro. The rest of your stay, soak in the pool and enjoy the scenery—this resort is set in the middle of a boutique winery—or borrow a bike to take a spin along the row of vines.

all inclusive resorts in california alisal ranch

4. Alisal Ranch , Solvang

  • Getting There: 45 minutes from Santa Barbara Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: horseback riding, golf, spa, great for families
  • Rates: starting at $788 per night for double occupancy

Does your love of Yellowstone run deep? Then saddle up for some cowboy-inspired fun and also a lot of luxury! A trip to Alisal Ranch in Solvang is not your standard dude ranch vacation . It’s got all the Western charm (horseback riding, archery and fishing), plus plush resort perks like two 18-hole championship golf courses, tennis courts and a serene spa. With inclusive nightly plans that include breakfast, dinner and tons of activities, the only thing you’ll be missing from the Paramount Network hit is the Dutton family.

all inclusive resorts in california the clement palo alto

5. The Clement Palo Alto , Palo Alto

  • Getting There: 11 minutes from Palo Alto Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: great packages, romantic, lively location
  • Rates: starting at $971 per night for single occupancy

We’re very much of the opinion that The Clement Palo Alto is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. . That’s because this Silicon Valley hotel manages to do the impossible—appeal to couples, college football fans and tech talent. It’s swanky and somehow both romantic and super fun. The location in downtown Palo Alto means that after kicking butt at your big presentation you can extend your work trip into a weekend away with your sweetie, celebrate by cheering on the Cardinals at Stanford University's football stadium or just bliss out with a glass of rosé at the rooftop pool.

all inclusive resorts in california hotel drisco

6. Hotel Drisco , San Francisco

  • Getting There: 24 minutes from San Francisco International Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: Perfect for a staycation or city break, superb location, elegant
  • Rates: Starting at $512 per night for double occupancy

While NoCal gets lots of leisure travel for its less-populous destinations , San Francisco deserves its time in the sun as a place for all-inclusive pampering. That’s just one of the things that earns Hotel Drisco such a stellar reputation. It’s an Edwardian oasis set atop a hill in the fabled Pacific Heights neighborhood that puts everything at your fingertips (what you won’t need to grab for is your credit card, until it’s time to check out). Start the day with a gourmet continental breakfast, borrow a complimentary bike and see all the sights, return for the evening wine reception and then catch some zzzs in your elegant suite.

all-inclusive-resorts-in-california: Post ranch Inn coastline

7. Post Ranch Inn , Big Sur

  • Getting There: Monterey and San Francisco airports are 50 minutes and 2.5 hours away, respectively
  • Why We Recommend It: awe-inspiring views of the California coastline
  • Rates: from $1,945 per night, double occupancy

The intersection of uber-luxury and unspoiled nature happens along this rocky stretch of Highway 1 along California's northern coastline. While primarily an a la carte resort, fine dining destination and spa, the Ocean Escape package is a resort sampler that gives you the flavor of an all-inclusive resort. It includes two nights' accommodation, dinner at Sierra Mar (be sure to request a window table to swoon over the sunset on the crashing waves) and a $400 resort credit to spend on a spa or wellness experience, a shaman session or an Instagram-friendly interlude with the falconry program.

all inclusive resorts in california carneros resort and spa

8. Carneros Resort And Spa , Napa

  • Getting There: 75 minutes from San Francisco International Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: charming cottages, wine tasting, excellent food, lawn games
  • Rates: starting at $1,116 per night for double occupancy (two night minimum)

When it comes to a wine country getaway, booking Carneros Resort and Spa is a no-brainer. It’s a stunning property with picturesque scenery, farmhouse-chic cottages that flaunt soaking tubs and awesome amenities. Who can resist a pool, lawn games and wine tasting? There’s also an acclaimed restaurant and a cafe that serves a super popular (and delicious) brunch, so you basically can just enjoy staying put. Opt for the “Choose Your Moments” package, which includes accommodations and a $300 credit to use towards dining or spa services, and you won’t have to use a lot of mental energy when it comes to the bill either—a very good thing since the wine will be flowing.

all inclusive resorts in california the ritz carlton

9. The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay , Half Moon Bay

  • Getting There: 35 minutes from San Francisco International Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: golf, ocean views, incredible food, spa services
  • Rates: starting at $926 per night for double occupancy

The pinnacle of Northern California luxury, The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay is an exceptional property that’s not your traditional all-inclusive but provides guests with so much to eat, see and do that you’ll never want to leave. (And isn’t that a big part of the reason people book all-inclusive resorts?). If you just want to relax and leave your wallet in the room, we recommend upgrading to the Club Level, which comes with exclusive access to a private lounge, plus food and beverage offerings. Outdoor firepits, s’mores kits, ocean views and sunset bagpipe music are just a few more of the things that make this place oh so special.

all inclusive resorts in California: woman in bath at Two Bunch Palms

10. Two Bunch Palms , Desert Hot Springs

  • Getting There: 2 hours drive from Los Angeles
  • Why We Recommend It: an adults-only desert respite from productivity culture, thanks to mineral springs soaks
  • Rates: from $425 per night

Newly renovated, this little oasis under age-old palms and tamarisk trees is all about the lithium-rich mineral waters that flow through the natural springs here. There are 67 guest rooms and 13 suites dotted across the property, which has a hippie-meets-hipster vibe. While the vegetarian menu is a la carte, so many other amerities are included so as to seem all-inclusive: daily access to health programs and mineral pools, tennis and racquet ball, lawn games and, if you really must, Wi-Fi and a shuttle service to Palm Springs, just a few miles away. But really, better to stay here and soak in the 600-year-old springs.

all inclusive resorts in california waldolf astoria monarch beach

11. Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach , Dana Point

  • Getting There: 70 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: coastal activities, oceanfront golf, beach club, restaurants,
  • Rates: starting at $611 per night for double occupancy

Set on 175 seaside acres, the AAA Five-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach has endless coastal activities, three pools, seven dining venues and posh amenities like an oceanfront golf course. Needless to say, it’s a place you’ll want to stay forever (our PureWow reviewers certainly did.) While it might not be possible to take up residence, you can live that WFH (work from hotel) life for a few days. The “Zoom to Zen” package, which combines a room swathed in soothing seaside hues—with dedicated office space, too—$100 daily resort credit, comped valet parking, fitness classes and access to the private beach club for a totally stress-free experience.

all inclusive resorts in california the camp at carmel valley

12. The Camp At Carmel Valley , Carmel Valley

  • Getting There: 25 minutes from Monterey Regional Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: outdoor activities, glamping, nostalgia, family fun
  • Rates: starting at $115 per night for single occupancy

A rustic, 115-acre resort, The Camp at Carmel Valley is a legit summer camp for the whole family. It’s a place where travelers of all ages get to trade the pressures of daily life for electricity-free glamping cabins, s’mores, ghost stories around the campfire and just about every nostalgic activity you could possibly imagine. We’re talking swimming, archery, arts and crafts (who remembers how much fun it is to tie-dye a T-shirt?), hiking, tennis, pickleball, corn hole and giant Jenga. Going along with the carefree mentality, everything is included in the rate.

all inclusive resorts in california terranea resort

13. Terranea Resort , Rancho Palos Verdes

  • Getting There: 50 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: pool, golf, dining options
  • Rates: starting at $565 per night for double occupancy

The Terranea Resort isn’t technically an all-inclusive, but it is a sprawling 582-room property and does have all the amenities (eight restaurants, an oceanfront golf course, an excellent spa and a huge pool, to name a few) and activities you’re no doubt looking for and a beautiful Southern California setting that’s too good to pass up. Fans of golf can hit the links with the PGA-approved package that bundles overnight accommodations in a king guestroom with ocean views, two rounds of golf at The Links at Terranea and delicious daily breakfast.

all inclusive resorts in california alila ventana big sur

14. Alila Ventana Big Sur , Big Sur

  • Getting There: 51 minutes from Monterey Regional Airport
  • Why We Recommend It: romance, stunning views, outdoor activities, wellness
  • Rates: starting at $2,003 per night for double occupancy

Alila Ventana Big Sur is the pinnacle of laid-back luxury (for background, it’s very much a place people go for their honeymoon or to celebrate something big like a milestone anniversary) in an endlessly photogenic setting just off Highway 1. We were delighted to find out that this dreamy property has a truly comprehensive all-inclusive package that covers all meals (which you can enjoy in your room, poolside or at the acclaimed restaurant), to-go snacks for fuel on your various adventures, yoga, meditation, Tai Chi and daily hikes, plus access to indoor and outdoor fitness studios, the library, rental gear, lounges and more.

5 All-Inclusive Style California Beach Resorts

I love the concept of all-inclusive resorts from a financial planning perspective — I know what I’m paying for before I arrive, which saves me a lot of anxiety about how much I’m spending on food and drinks. But serious downsides of an all-inclusive resort stay can be the sub-par food and the property’s enormous size. So what I really appreciate about many California beach resorts is that they offer all-inclusive options without being the traditional mega-sized properties you find in Mexico or across the Caribbean .

Instead, in California , you’ll find hotels and resorts, mostly in the luxury category (but catering to families as well as couples), that offer guests the option of purchasing add-on packages to make the stay more all-inclusive. These can include everything from four-course dinners to spa credits or rounds of golf. From Santa Barbara to Big Sur, here are five of our top choices for all-inclusive style beach resorts in California.

Map of featured hotels:

1. Romantic Bliss in Wildly Beautiful Big Sur

If you want an all-inclusive style escape that is adults-only , it is hard to find a more romantic spot than the Post Ranch Inn . Perched on a cliff overlooking Big Sur’s wild Pacific coastline, the luxury property has an intimate feel with just 39 rooms and one private home. All accommodations have a rustic zen ambiance and are designed with digital detox and relaxation in mind — there are no TVs or alarm clocks to distract you, although there is free WiFi.

Book the “Romance at the Ranch” package for a nearly all-inclusive experience. The three-night package includes two four-course dinners at the award-winning Sierra Mar Restaurant, two one-hour Post Ranch Massages in your room, daily breakfast, and a bottle of champagne upon arrival. It also includes a number of activities that are free to all guests such as yoga, guided nature walks, stargazing, and access to the hotel’s swimming pools and fitness center. There are also two-night packages with similar amenities.

If you’d rather not go the all-inclusive route, it’s good to know that the Post Ranch Inn does not charge a resort fee and all reservations include free breakfast, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in your mini bar, and the above mentioned activities. That said, if you plan to dine onsite, note that both lunch and dinner are prix fixe menus only.

Post Ranch Inn

2. santa barbara chic by the beach.

On 22-acres just across from the beach in Santa Barbara, the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore is a California mission architecture-style property that is lavishly elegant with beautiful gardens. Guests can book a number of different packages to create more of an all-inclusive stay experience. The top one is probably the “Experience More” package that includes a nightly resort credit of up to $300. There is also a unique “Sip & Stay” package that features complimentary wine tastings at five tasting rooms all within walking distance of The Biltmore.

The property has two onsite restaurants: Bella Vista, which cooks up organic Italian fare (don’t skip the fresh house-made pasta — the spinach rigatoni with a lamb bolognese is recommended ) and Tydes, which has indoor/outdoor dining space and a seafood focused menu (start with oysters and move on to the grilled lobster).

The private beach club , located just across the street, is a wonderful included amenity. It features a big oceanfront swimming pool, chairs and daybeds on the sand and its own restaurant. When it comes time to sleep, you’ll have a choice to book rooms, suites or the ultra luxe individual bungalows.

Four Seasons The Biltmore Santa Barbara

3. private beach club and five star luxury in dana point.

In Orange County, about halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles in Dana Point, Hotel Monarch Beach Resort is set on 175 acres on a bluff facing the ocean. The five-star resort caters to couples and offers a few different all inclusive style packages. The “Complete Retreat” is one, featuring free breakfast, a nightly $100 resort credit, valet parking, and no extra resort fee.

If you golf , there are a few golfing inclusive packages — the course here faces the ocean and is considered one of the top couple’s courses in the U.S . The rooms and suites come in all shapes and sizes, but the best have full ocean views from private balconies. If you want your own fire-pit, then book one of the ground level rooms that feature them on the private patio.

It is just a five-minute walk down hill to the hotel’s private Monarch Bay Beach Club (a golf cart shuttle that runs back and forth if you don’t want to hoof it). Guests have access to complimentary sun-loungers and umbrellas here. Other freebies for all guests include beach activities and games, unlimited fitness classes at the onsite Miraval Life in Balance Spa, a 24-hour athletic club with Peloton bikes and tennis courts with free equipment rentals.

Use your nightly resort credit at any of the five onsite restaurants including Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak and the Mediterranean-inspired AVEO. Bourbon Steak is known for its flavorful steak, seafood and wine pairings and innovative creations like a lobster pot pie or a whole fried chicken with truffle mac and cheese and charred asparagus.

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club

4. family-friendly fun in laguna beach.

In downtown Laguna Beach, the Surf & Sand Resort sits on a hill above the town’s prime stretch of gold sand beach. The property has 167 rooms that all feature oceanfront balconies in three different buildings. These come with fun, beach-inspired design like plantation shutters, bleached wood and a blue and white color scheme. Original art hangs from the walls.

The property caters to families  and couples alike. While it is not a traditional all-inclusive, it does run packages that make it feel more so. The “Family Fun Package” is one option. It includes a $75 resort credit, milk and cookies in your room when you check-in, and s’mores and an in-room camping kit for the kids — they’ll set up a tent in the living space. Other packages feature bed and breakfast or nightly cocktails. Regardless of whether you book a package, the resort has a pool facing the ocean and a giant fitness center that are complimentary.

You’ll also find the excellent Splashes by the Sea restaurant, which has a menu that changes with the seasons. It always features lots of fresh seafood including an excellent sweet corn ravioli topped with diver scallops. The restaurant faces the ocean and is best appreciated at sunset. The Aquaterra Spa is where to pamper yourself with made-in-house treatments like a strawberry sugar body scrub.

Surf and Sand Resort

5. posh pampering outside santa barbara.

The Ritz-Carlton Bacara doesn’t offer a traditional all-inclusive experience. But you can book one of their packages that will garner you free breakfast, valet parking, waived resort fees and various dining or spa credits at the posh five-star property. Set on 78 well-manicured acres about 20 minutes drive west of Santa Barbara, the Ritz-Carlton overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is a favorite celebrity hideaway.

The Spanish Mediterranean-style property blends beautifully into its natural environs and features two beaches, three saltwater infinity pools, a massive spa and even a movie theater. There are also multiple restaurants onsite. Check out The Bistro for local produce and sustainable seafood dishes. Angel Oak has ocean views and is a modern steakhouse that pairs aged and prime cuts with wine from one of the region’s best stocked cellars.

The rooms and suites here are elegantly appointed and live up to the high standards the Ritz is known for. The huge marble bathrooms are especially appealing with deep soaking tubs, separate showers, and Frette towels and robes.

There’s a lot to be said for the convenience of an all-inclusive vacation package. Paying for everything up front eliminates the potential for shock when the bill arrives at checkout time (something that families and other budget-conscious travelers will greatly appreciate). Choosing an all-inclusive resort in a place like California takes care of another common source of worry and one that has ruined many a vacation: bad weather. California has, for the most part, reliably blue skies throughout the majority of the year.

While it’s difficult to find many true all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. that compare to the type found in the Caribbean and Mexico, there are plenty of package deals that offer half board or at least make it possible to string together a complimentary breakfast with resort credits to cover additional meals. So, if you’re on the hunt for a fuss-free getaway to the Golden State, these all-inclusive package offers are some of California’s best.

Alila Ventana Big Sur, Big Sur

Common area with lit fireplace at Alila Ventana Big Sur

It’s easy to see why California’s Big Sur has inspired some of America’s most celebrated artists and writers. And though room rates have certainly increased since Big Sur’s beatnik heyday, those craggy coastal views remain the same. See for yourself at Hyatt’s upscale Alila Ventana Big Sur , an adults-only resort perched on the cliffs between California’s famed Highway One and the Pacific. Alila Ventana is one of the few true all-inclusives in California, as room reservations cover all meals and snacks, including in-room dining, poolside, or at the guests-only restaurant, the Sur House. Also included in the price are activities like guided hikes, yoga, Tai Chi, group meditations, and even your own chauffeur to cart you to and from town or anywhere else within a three-mile radius.

Guests can choose between forest, ocean, meadow, or canyon view rooms with extras like wood-burning fireplaces, hot tubs, walk-in showers, and other amenities to help make for a cozy stay. Basic king rooms start at $2,100 and go up.

Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur

Exterior of the Pacific Suite at Post Ranch Inn

If your number one vacation objective is rest and relaxation—with an emphasis on rest—the Post Ranch Inn’s current Sleep Program will be right up your alley. The Big Sur resort has teamed up with sleep specialist Dr. Michael Breus to design a guest program aimed at improving sleep quality through diet, spa treatments, and more. Also included in the deal is dinner at the Sierra Mar, the property’s on-site restaurant, and access to Dr. Breus’s seven-part “sleep sessions” video series. In their waking hours, guests can take advantage of activities like yoga, meditation, sound baths, and—for an additional fee—falconry. Also reserved for guests is a fleet of Lexuses for quick jaunts around the area.

Visitors can add the sleep package to any stay of two nights or longer for an additional $1,200 and $900 more for additional guests in the same room.

Brisas del Mar, Inn at the Beach, Santa Barbara

Exterior of Brisas del Mar, Inn at the Beach surrounded by palm trees on a sunny day

Enjoy a wine-tasting weekend in Santa Barbara at the beachfront Brisas del Mar, Inn at the Beach . The intimate 39-room property offers a Wine Lovers Package which includes a guided tasting-tour of three wineries complete with a catered picnic lunch (weekends excluded). Guests also receive complimentary bottle of Chardonnay or Syrah from Santa Barbara Winery.

Even without the special package offer, all guest reservations include a deluxe continental breakfast, afternoon happy hour with locally produced wines and cheeses, and complimentary bicycles to explore the nearby beaches.

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club, Dana Point

Exterior grounds and pool at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club overlooking the ocean

Located in Orange County’s exclusive Dana Point, the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club offers guests some of California’s best whale watching and one of the few private beach clubs in the southern half of the state. Guests can make use of beach club equipment such as paddleboards, boogie boards, and surfboards, while golfers may instead opt for the beachfront fairways of Monarch Beach Golf Links.

Currently travelers can book the Another Day in Paradise package, which offers guests a fourth night free during their stay. Another offer currently up for grabs, the Bed & Breakfast package includes an $80 daily credit for breakfast, either in-room or at one of the many restaurants on the property. This package starts at $710 per night for stays this upcoming spring.

Carneros Resort and Spa, Napa

Woman walking next to a pool surrounded by lounge chairs overlooking rolling hills at Carneros Resort and Spa

The cutesy clusters of cottages that make up Carneros Resort and Spa are the absolute antithesis to the mega-resort style accommodations so prevalent in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Cottages are roomy and include private outdoor space, fireplaces, outdoor showers and tubs, on-demand wine, and other frills. Full-sized vacation homes are also scattered throughout the resort village, ideal for big families or larger gatherings. There are a number of package stays to choose from such as the Arrive Early & Stay Late deal. That’ll get you a daily breakfast for two along with early check-in and late check-out, plus a room upgrade. As you might have guessed, wine-on-demand and concierge service doesn’t come cheap, with this package starting at $1,050.

The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Dana Point

Aerial view of the The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel

Spend a weekend or more at the upscale Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel beachfront resort and reconnect with loved ones. The resort’s Reconnect package includes daily breakfast for two guests in-room or at either of its two restaurants and a generous daily resort credit to put towards lunch, dinner, or other services. Just how much you receive in resort credit depends on the room type you book: Guestrooms earn $100 resort credit per day, Club Level rooms receive $200 in resort credit per day, and Suites receive $300 in daily resort credit.

Also included in the package is a 45-minute photo shoot with the Ritz-Carlton photo concierge. This package starts at $699 per night and is valid for travel through December 31, 2023.

More About California

From the north to the south, you'll find more than enough to do in this golden state – so much so you'll need to plan for a second trip to get it all in! Up north, you can lose yourself in the vineyards of Napa Valley & Sonoma and taste some of the finest wine produced in the country. While you're up there head over to San Francisco and check out the Golden Gate Bridge. Did you know that San Francisco is also home to Ghirardelli? Make sure to stop by Ghirardelli Square to indulge in some chocolatey goodness, and while you're in the neighborhood swing by Boudin Bakery to load up on some delicious baked goods. Down south, you'll discover a plethora of activities along the Orange County Coast, and just a bit further inland is the delightful area of Palm Springs – a desert oasis with stylish hotels, countless golf courses, hot springs, and hiking trails. As you make your way further south to San Diego you'll find those classic California beaches filled with sunshine, surfers and palm trees. Be sure to sign up for a surf lesson or check out the famous roller coaster The Giant Dipper at Belmont Park for a different kind of thrill. No matter what city you visit, California has something for everyone.

  • To make it easier to replace your passport if it’s lost or stolen, in addition to your passport, take a photocopy of your passport information page (keeping it separate from your actual passport).
  • Carry only a limited amount of cash, just enough for gratuities and incidental purchases. Major credit cards are widely accepted and can be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Always lock your hotel room door (including patio and balcony door on any level of the building) and use the peephole before opening the door.
  • Store your valuables (such as cash, credit cards and airline tickets) in the hotel’s in-room safe or front desk safety deposit box.
  • If you must carry valuables on your person, do so in a pouch or money belt concealed under your clothing. Purses and backpacks can be easy targets for thieves.
