Yamaha 2024 Motorcycle Demo Tour

Dreams are free and so are demos!

The Yamaha Demo Tour is finally back on the road! With over 90 stops across Canada, this is your chance to finally swing a leg over some of Yamaha's most popular motorcycles including the Tracer 9 GT+, MT-10, MT-07, Ténéré 700, XSR900, XSR700, YZF-R7, and the YZF-R3.*

Review the Pro Tips below before heading out on your demo ride.

1. Ride participants must supply their own protective equipment, including:

• ECE/DOT/SNELL approved Helmet
• Long pants, jacket, over the ankle boots, gloves
• Eye protection

No riding gear will be provided on site.

• Riders evaluating a Yamaha product must have a valid Motorcycle Operator's Licence or endorsement and a minimum three months of experience (written learner's permit not acceptable).
• Riders evaluating the following motorcycles must have a Class 6 or full M licence: Super Ténéré, MT-10, MT-09, Tracer 9 GT+, XSR900, FJR1300ES, and YZF-R1*
• Riders must read and sign the waiver before riding. Present parent signature required for riders under the age of majority.
• The use of smart devices and/or video audio recording devices is prohibited.

3. The hosting dealer is in charge of each demo day - be sure to check in with them regarding any questions or to confirm ride in the event of inclement weather.*

4. These events are first come, first serve. Contact hosting dealer in advance for additional details about ride scheduling.

5. Get ready to have a great time! We are thrilled to be back on the road with you!

Enfin, venez comme vous êtes … ou pas exactement, n'oubliez pas de prendre votre permis de conduire, votre carte d'identité ainsi qu'un équipement de moto complet (casque, gants, chaussures de moto, blouson avec protections & pantalon). Un jeune permis peut-il réaliser un essai ?

La réponse est oui ! Permis A1, un groupe d'essais composé de 5 modèles 125cc rien que pour vous. Permis A2, du 700cc au 900cc, 4 modèles vous attendent !

Est-il possible d'essayer plusieurs modèles ?

La réponse est encore oui ! Vous avez la possibilité d'essayer 2 modèles, au cas où votre cœur chavirerait pour deux Yamaha… on peut le comprendre ! Pour ceux qui en veulent encore plus, renseignez-vous auprès de votre concessionnaire pour un essai en concession en cliquant ici .

Puis-je réserver un essai en dehors du Demo Ride Tour ?

Un oui toujours ! Si vous ne pouvez pas vous rendre au Demo Ride Tour près de chez vous, vous pouvez à tout moment contacter votre concessionnaire et convenir d'un rendez-vous pour réserver un essai de la Yamaha de votre choix.

De quels documents ai-je besoin pour essayer une moto ?

Pour réaliser votre essai, vous aurez besoin de votre permis de conduire et d'une pièce d'identité.

Est-il possible de faire un essai longue durée ?

Demo Ride Tour – The Tour de France for testing the Yamaha range!

What is the Demo Ride Tour?

The Demo Ride Tour is a test tour of the entire Yamaha range, from the 125cc to the MT-3!

The truck will pass through  15 concessions  and will participate in  7 general public motorcycle gatherings.

21 models of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters  are available for trial!

The duration of a test is  45 minutes.

Three driving groups are offered:

• The small engine group
• The CP2 group
• The CP3 & CP4 group

All licenses are welcome, from A1 license to A license to A2 license!

What models are being tested?

• XSR125 Legacy
• TMAX Tech MAX
• XSR700 Legacy
• MT-07 35 kW
• Ténéré 700 World Raid
• XSR900 35kW

What are the dates of the Demo Ride Tour?

Here are the upcoming dates in concessions:

• Dubois Motorcycle Center  in Nîmes from March 22 to 23
• Only Yam & Moto Revolution  in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines from March 30 to 31
• Planet Yam  in Rennes from April 05 to 06
• Technic Motorcycles  in Saint-Etienne from April 13 to 14
• Miellin Motorcycles  in Besançon from April 20 to 21
• Yam Nantes  in Nantes from April 27 to 28
• Motorcycle Clinic  in La Rochelle from May 03 to 04

Here are the dates of the events in which the Demo Ride Tour is participating:

• MotoGP  at the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans from May 10 to 12 – exhibition of models – no test will be offered on this date.
• Sunday Ride Classic  (entrance to the event paid) at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet from May 18 to 19 – tests to be booked on the Demo Ride Tour website.
• High Side Ride Festival  (entrance to the event paid) at the Pôle Mécanique d'Alès from May 31 to June 02 – registrations for tests on the HSRF website only.
• Alpes Aventure Motofestival  in Barcelonette from September 12 to 15 – tests to be booked on the Demo Ride Tour website.

What to do while waiting for your turn during testing?

Customers will be able to take advantage of their trial to test an IXON U03 airbag equipped with In&motion technology for free.

A demonstration of an airbag vest activation is also planned during the event!

Good to know ! Each dealership hosting the Demo Ride Tour has its share of surprises such as promotions, entertainment, games, etc.

DEMO RIDE SEASON STARTS AT DAYTONA

Several manufacturers will be offering demo rides and displays at Daytona bike week and afterward. Here are a few we know of so far:

BETA DEMO RIDES

  SUZUKI DEMO RIDES AT DAYTONA

Sandy Level, VA March 15–10:00 a.m.

• Sign ups are on a first come first serve basis. No advanced registration available.

In order to participate in the KTM MOTO TOUR you must be 25 years or older for 690cc and up and 21yrs old or above for 500cc and under. 21-24yrs old can ONLY ride 500cc and under motorcycles. Experienced riders only.

Please bring the following:

• Government Issued Photo ID With Your Motorcycle Endorsement
• Signed Waiver
• Proper Riding Apparel
• DOT approved Helmet
• Eye Protection
• Long Sleeves
• Sturdy Foot Wear

KTM staff can revoke riding privileges at any time for any reason deemed necessary. No passengers are allowed at any time.

Age Requirements for Demo Ride:18 years of age: XSR700, MT-07, Bolt, R3, MT-03

21 years of age for all other motorcycles listed.

No passengers allowed on MT-10, R6.

Protective gear is required: DOT approved helmet, Long pants, Shirt with sleeves, eye protection, enclosed shoes.

Motorcycle endorsement required, NO PERMITS ARE ALLOWED

Yamaha Demo Ride Tour 2024: maak kosteloos en vrijblijvend proefrit op de Yamaha(‘s) van jouw keuze!

Met vooruitstrevende designs zijn de Yamaha-modellen in de 2024 line-up stuk voor stuk plaatjes om naar te kijken, maar het allerleukst blijft toch om erop te rijden. Om die reden organiseert Yamaha ook dit jaar weer de Yamaha Demo Ride Tour. Een indrukwekkende truck vol nieuwe en bestaande Yamaha-modellen rijdt tussen maart en oktober heel de Benelux door en stopt bij erkende Yamaha-dealers. Daar krijg jij de kans om – kosteloos en geheel vrijblijvend – ieder model te testen dat jouw interesse heeft.

Hoe werkt het?

Op www.yamaha-demo-ride-tour.com vind je een compleet overzicht van de deelnemende dealers en de datum waarop de Demo Ride Tour daar aanwezig is. Zodra de officiële inschrijvingen van een evenement openen zul je ook zien bij welke dealer welke Yamaha-modellen beschikbaar zijn voor een proefrit. Je meldt je aan, kiest het model of de modellen die je wilt proefrijden en komt op de betreffende datum naar die dealer. Neem een goede helm, motorjas, motorrijschoenen en leren handschoenen mee, en uiteraard je motorrijbewijs. Vervolgens maak je onder begeleiding van een Yamaha-voorrijder een mooie proefrit van zo’n 45 minuten in de omgeving van de dealer. Natuurlijk zorgen we voor een gevarieerde mix van bochten, snelweg en achterafweggetjes, zodat je een zo compleet mogelijke rijervaring hebt.

Welke Yamaha kies jij?

Met zo’n breed modellengamma is er voor iedere smaak en iedere rijstijl een perfecte Yamaha te vinden. Is de combinatie van moderne techniek en nostalgische stijl jouw ding, dan kies je de nieuwe Yamaha XSR900 GP. Yamaha poursuit son Demo Ride Tour 2024 ce week-end à Nimes

La tournée française des motos Yamaha continue ce vendredi 22 et samedi 23 mars à la concession Dubois Motos Center de Nîmes ! Le Demo Ride Tour 2024 compte 22 dates et propose à l'essai 21 modèles, de la XSR125 à la MT-10, en passant par la Ténéré 700 ou la Tracer 9 GT. Promos, animations, jeux et airbag Ixon U03 sont également au programme.

Le Demo Ride Tour 2024 poursuit sa longue tournée 2024 ce week-end à Nimes… et l'achèvera à la mi-septembre à Barcelonette ! Vingt autres étapes sont prévues - presque - partout sur le territoire, afin de permettre à un maximum de motards de tester et craquer pour une nouvelle monture.

" Le camion passera dans 15 concessions et participera à 7 rassemblements motos grand public ", se réjouit Yamaha Motor France, précisant que " 21 modèles de motos et scooters Yamaha sont disponibles à l'essai ! " Des motos et un maxiscooter en fait, classés selon trois catégories...

Le groupe des petites cylindrées se compose des motos XSR125 (standard et Legacy), MT-125 et R125, toutes accessibles aux permis A1 dès 16 ans, ou permis B (auto, en poche depuis 2 ans avec formation de 7 heures si nécessaire). Cette première catégorie inclut aussi le Tmax 560 qui requiert le permis A2.

Le groupe des CP2, comme son nom l'indique, intègre une sélection des motos équipées du célèbre et populaire bicylindre Yamaha : les roadsters MT-07 (Pure et 35 kW) et XSR700 Legacy, le trail Ténéré 700 (standard et World Raid), la routière Tracer 7 GT et la sportive R7.

Enfin, le groupe des CP3 et CP4 comprend la nouvelle génération de MT-09 (déjà testée et approuvée par MNC !), sa déclinaison néo-rétro XSR900 (35kW et "full") et la Tracer 9 (standard et GT) qui partage toute le même 3-cylindres, ainsi que la MT-10 qui dispose d'une version assagie du 4-cylindres de la R1.

Demo Ride Tour 2024 : les grands événements moto

• Salon du 2 Roues (entrée de l'événement payante) à Eurexpo Lyon du 7 au 10 mars 2024
• Sunday Ride Classic (entrée de l'événement payante) au Circuit Paul Ricard au Castellet du 18 au 19 mai – essais à réserver sur le site du Demo Ride Tour.
• High Side Ride Festival (entrée de l'événement payante) au Pôle Mécanique d'Alès du 31 mai au 02 juin – inscriptions pour les essais sur le site du HSRF uniquement.
• Alpes Aventure Motofestival à Barcelonette du 12 au 15 septembre – essais à réserver sur le site du Demo Ride Tour.

Un cinquième rendez-vous est au programme du Demo Ride Tour : le MotoGP au circuit Bugatti au Mans du 10 au 12 mai… Mais attention, il s'agira d'une exposition seulement ! Impossible d'effectuer un essai de 45 minutes (allez, deux maxi !) comme c'est le cas pour l'ensemble des autres dates. Pas même moyen d'essayer la M1 de Fabio Quartararo, juste 10 minutes ?

" Bon à savoir ! ", avertissent les GO de YMF : " chaque concession accueillant le Demo Ride Tour réserve son lot de surprises telles que des promotions, des animations, des jeux… " Enfin, " les clients pourront profiter de leur essai pour tester gratuitement un airbag IXON U03 doté de la technologie In&motion. Une démonstration d'un déclenchement de gilet airbag est d'ailleurs prévue lors de l'événement ! "

Pour rappel, les motards qui craqueront pour une MT-07 avant le 15 avril prochain pourront justement repartir avec leur propre airbag Ixon, gratuit ! Pour réserver l'essai d'une Yamaha - petite, CP2, CP3 ou CP4 -, rendez-vous sur le site officiel du Demo Ride Tour .

Welcome to the Yamaha MT-09 Y-AMT Demo Launch Weekend at Mott Motorcycles Ltd! Join us for an exciting event where you can check out the latest model up close and personal.

Get ready to experience the thrill of Yamaha's newest addition to the MT series. Whether you're new to an "automatic" system or you've used one before, come and test ride the new MT-09 Y-AMT and see how Yamaha have perfected it!

Pre-booking is required. We will be unable to accommodate walk ins for this event. Please contact us or book your test ride slot on our Eventbrite page ( https://mt09yamtlaunch.eventbrite.co.uk ).

On average, this new technology will feel natural and comfortable to you within only 10 minutes!

Pre-configured SatNav with dedicated route, allowing you to concentrate on the bike and its new technology. ????

Test ride terms and conditions:

• Only 1 ticket (test ride) per rider. Multiple test rides by the same customer is not permitted and will be cancelled.
• No purchase necessary.
• Test rides are given subject to status. We reserve the right to refuse any test ride request.
• We can only accept riders that hold a full category A motorcycle licence. In addition, convictions and insurance claims will be considered before a test ride is given.
• Attendee will be required to bring: • Your motorcycle helmet plus the appropriate riding gear. Note: we have a variety of motorcycle helmets, jackets, trousers, gloves and boots for sale in our clothing department. • Your driving licence (new style*). • A driving licence check code (https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence). • A second proof of address dated in the last 3 months that must match your name and address listed on your driving licence (this needs to be a physical copy or emailed in advance to: [email protected]) • You must also arrive in your own transport - this is so that we can hold the keys to the vehicle whilst you are out on the test ride. *Those with the old paper style will be required to bring this and one additional form of I.D. such as a passport. A second proof of address will still be required.
• Test ride slots are every hour, you must return the vehicle by the following hour. For example, if your test ride slot is booked for 9am, we will need the bike back for 10am. If you feel that 1 hour would not be sufficient, we do invite all customers back for a longer test ride.
• If you arrive late for your appointment, we reserve the right to refuse your test ride to prevent it clashing or causing delays with another customer’s slot.
• Although a sufficient amount of fuel is included in the bike for your demo, we will not cover any expenses whilst you are on the test ride. If required, you are urged to come back to us for a top up/re-fill.
• We reserve the right to cancel any test ride due to weather conditions that may make it unsafe for riders.
