After a 4.5hr drive to see the show we weren’t disappointed!
Lewis Capaldi was first up and as funny and great as ever. Had the crowd laughing.
The Darkness were not my thing but they engaged with one particular guy called “Rick” in the crowd, who also sang his heart out for an appreciative audience.
The main man Ed appeared on stage around 8.30pm with a huge smile on his face, to an immense welcome from the Ipswich crowd, he was born not too far away, so was nice to see him finish this huge 2 year world tour at home.
Also he gave hundreds of free tickets to the pupils of the school he attended when he lived there.
His vocals were simply incredible, loud, strong, smooth and steamy, just beautiful !!
Screen graphics and timings were perfect too.
His guitar playing was awesome to watch and I have no idea how he concentrates on so many things at once with the loop, that is pure talent and the build up and sound in some songs ie Eraser, Bloodstream and the awesome You need me,I don’t need you gave me goosebumps.
Ed was joined for Galway Girl by Beoga which was brilliant.
Special guest Stormzy for “Shape of You” was the icing on the cake and I’m so pleased I bought the tickets last year, they were worth every penny.
Only complaint was the rude and miserable guy behind the official merch counter!! Spending £50 on a hoodie for my daughter meant I had to save for it and it would have been nice to have had a “hello” a “thank-you” or any kind of a smile!!!
Luckily the bar staff were friendly, smiley and helpful as were the local people.
Would 100% recommend ED SHEERAN as someone to see live, he is INCREDIBLE.

Let me just start off by saying Ed Sheeran is an amazing performer and speaker. He is comedic and doesn't require thousands of lights and a massive stage to impress thousands. He stayed interactive with the crowd very well. This is my 3rd concert ever and it was both the best and worst I have ever.
Ed Sheeran did amazing, he isn't the issue. As people know in concerts you stand and dance to most songs and sit (under circumstances) when ballads are playing or the performer is speaking. So- I was standing during one of Ed Sheeran's many sings along/dancing songs. I am a 6 foot tall 13 years old there for my birthday. In the area, I was in many people asked me to sit while he talked which I happily obliged to then learning the rules.
It was all fine until one man yelled in a very rude/angry voice yelled at me (during a dancing song) "SIT DOWN IDIOT IN THE BLACK HAT." Which at the very moment I didn't recognize as myself until my father went to lash back (as any protective super concert dad would do). This is something I had never experienced. So for the rest of the concert, I sat having an emotional/mental breakdown.
I'm not sure if it was the music or the people that made me cry so much. This was an experience I will learn from. Unfortunately, it is (probably) because Ed Sheeran reins in a large age group as an audience. This means sometimes people will be cranky, rude, or just plain snarky.
I understand if someone handicapped asked me to sit because they couldn't stand. But this man that yelled at me was about 50 or younger. I hope he ended up enjoying his concert because by halfway through my whole 6' or taller family stood and danced. He sat and everyone around him was asking him to join.
Sorry for my rant. Ed Sheeran is an amazing performer. I just thought you should know that people that (I know) will be everywhere (and we cant do much about them). But it was rude.
Great show! I bought my wife and I tickets as a gift for her (she was a huge Ed Sheeran fan even before he was famous) and we had a great time. My wife had never been to the venue, and while I had been to shows at Consol Enery Center before this was the first show I saw there since it became PPG Paints Arena. Everything about the production and performances (lights, audio, visuals, crew, musicians etc) went off with nary a hitch and was executed in a very timely manner. Props to all involved.
James Blunt opened, and like many people there (as he joked) I only knew one of his songs: "You're Beautiful". He was funny, charismatic, a good showman, and a good sport. He put on a high quality emotion filled performance, and despite his music being on the sadder side still managed to pump everyone up for Ed Sheeran. "Don't Give Me Those Eyes" was a highlight. He hung out in the Captain Morgan lounge after his performance and invited anyone interested to come hang with him. I came in not really knowing who he was and left checking out his latest music and regretting not grabbing a beer with him.
Than Ed came out (my wife had a pinch me I'm dreaming moment). He was noticeably quieter and a bit more reserved than Blunt when addressing the audience, but quickly dove in. I was always aware Ed was a talented solo artist, but you really appreciate his talent on a different level when you actually hear him perform outside of a studio live with just him and a guitar. Most of his songs were studio quality. A few songs dipped in quality but for charming and understandable reasons like audience involvement and impressive sped-up improv (i.e. the "Don't" and "New Man" mashup). He played nearly all the songs my wife and I were looking for ("Perfect", "A-Team", "Galway Girl", "Nancy Mulligan", "Thinking Out Loud", etc.). Since this was the "Divide" tour he played almost every song off that album (but not all: no "Barcelona", "Bibia be ye ye", etc.) He also played a lot of his older songs, including an audience request for "Cold Coffee" (he stated it was the first time he performed it live since 2010-2011). I also liked how he put on a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey during his closing song "You Need Me and I Don't Need You".
TLDR it was one of the best shows I have seen.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: All the U.S. and international dates and opening acts
Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.
By that point, she'd already broken the all-time record for most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day and passed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour as the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist.
And Swift rose to the occasion , leading her band through a marathon 44-song set that lasted more than three hours while delivering on her promise of "a journey through all of my musical eras."
So what does she do for an encore? Here's where the Eras Tour is headed next, adding two surprise songs to the set at each show. Here's a look at what she's played so far .

Taylor Swift is, at long last, headed back on the road. Following this week’s monumental chart debut of Midnights , her tenth studio album, Swift announced the U.S. leg of her 2023 Eras tour on Tuesday morning (Nov. 1), confirming her first official tour in nearly five years following months of rumors.
“I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time. I’ve been planning for ages and I finally get to tell you: I’m going back on tour,” Swift said on GMA . “The tour is called the Eras tour and it’s a journey through all of the musical eras of my career.”
Taylor Swift Is ‘IN SHAMBLES’ Over ‘Midnights’ Dominating the Hot 100 Top 10
Swift said that after kicking off in the U.S., the tour will go on an international swing, with those dates to be announced soon.
Support on the tour will come via a rotating cast of opening acts including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, Muna, Haim, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn. The public on-sale date for the tour will be 10 a.m. local venue time on Nov. 18. Swift has partnered with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program, with fans able to register here for the TaylorSwiftTix presale now through Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Registered fans will get a code with exclusive access to purchase tickets on Nov. 15 starting at 10 a.m. local venue time.
Previous Lover Fest Verified Fan purchasers will get preferred access to participate in the TaylorSwiftTix presale; make sure to register with the same Ticketmaster Account as your Lover Fest purchase. Capital One cardholders will have priority access to purchase tickets on Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. local venue time through Nov. 17 at 10 p.m. local venue time or until supplies last.
Swift’s planned follow-up to the Reputation tour, Lover Fest, was scheduled to take place in 2020 following the 2019 release of her Lover album, but was canceled due to the pandemic. Since the Reputation tour, Swift has released four original studio albums — Lover , 2020’s Folklore and Evermore , and Midnights — as well as two re-recorded albums, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) , both in 2021.
This week, Midnights blasted in atop the Billboard 200 albums chart with 1.578 million equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 27, according to Luminate — the biggest week for any album in nearly seven years. Meanwhile, Swift made history on the Hot 100 by becoming the first artist to claim the chart’s entire top 10 in a single frame, with “Anti-Hero” debuting at No. 1 to become her ninth career chart-topper.

To help protect the Exchange, THE THE has also chosen to make tickets for this tour mobile only and restricted from transfer.* Please note, a valid bank account or debit card within the country of your event is required to sell on the Face Value Exchange.
*New York, Illinois, Colorado, Virginia and Connecticut have passed state laws requiring unlimited ticket resale and limiting artists’ ability to determine how their tickets are resold. To adhere to local law, tickets in these states will not be restricted from transfer but the artist encourages fans to use the Face Value Exchange.

Burning Man tickets haven't sold out for the first time since 2011. Here's why.

Updated on: August 19, 2024 / 1:36 PM EDT / CBS News
Burning Man's allure appears to be fading with festival goers, as tickets are still available ahead of its August 25 kickoff. It's the first time since 2011 that the event hasn't sold out long before its opening day.
Bad weather at the desert event during the past two years appears to be slowing Burning Man ticket sales for this year's festival, which runs from Aug. 25 to Sept. 2.
After Burning Man attendees endured extreme heat in 2022, followed by heavy rain and muddy conditions in 2023, many would-be "Burners," as festival attendees are called, are staying home this year. Economic factors could be at play too, given that tickets for the Black Rock City, Nevada, event sell for $575 a pop, and some consumers may be cutting back on spending after years of elevated inflation.
Tickets are still available directly through the organizer for the typically sold-out event, plus they're hitting resale sites at roughly half their price. The Burning Man Project, the non-profit that runs the festival, is hosting an "OMG Ticket Sale" on its website , selling last-minute entries even for guests who didn't pre-register, which is a usual requirement to attend.
This year, Burning Man is selling 3,000 tickets for $575 each, plus 1,500 vehicle passes for $150. Those who decide they want to attend last minute can also scour resale sites such as StubHub for even cheaper entry.
One resale listing advertises a pair of general admission tickets for $268 each, while another lists two tickets for $279 each.
Last-minute Burning Man ticket sales
Founded in 1986 in San Francisco, Burning Man moved to the desert in 1990. In recent years, the event has typically drawn around 80,000 people, according to the organization. It has sold out each year since 2011, according to The Guardian.
Burning Man chief executive Marian Goodell this week told the New York Times that organizers decide how many tickets to sell each year, and that "when the demand is lower, we simply turn the faucet back on."
"By opening the OMG Sale to everyone, including those who did not register, and selling tickets for instant gratification at outlets in San Francisco and Reno, we are creating the opportunity for this to 'be the year' people interested in creativity, innovation, and culture make it to Black Rock City," Burning Man associate director of communications Dominique Debucquoy-Dodley said in a statement to CBS MoneyWatch.
He added that the decision to hold a last-minute ticket sale also reflects "recent trends around the world that show last minute ticket buying, and continuing to sell tickets until the maximum Black Rock City population count is reached, encourages immediacy and makes it easy for more people to immerse themselves at the heart of the global Burning Man cultural movement."
Goodell added in a statement that the sale "is an exciting opportunity to connect more people interested in Burning Man and the arts and culture."
What happened last year?
Last year's extreme weather conditions could be turning people off from attending this year. In 2023, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office closed the main road to the festival's entrance, leaving attendees stranded at the site for days. They were instructed to conserve resources while they waited for road conditions to improve.
And in 2022, temperatures rose to above 100 degrees Fahrenheit during the course of the festival.
Music festivals Coachella and Lollapalooza have similarly struggled with ticket sales this year, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times , suggesting that economic considerations could be at play.
Ticket prices make up just part of the cost of attending Burning Man. After factoring in flights, vehicle passes, costumes and other supplies, attendees say they spend thousands to partake in the revelry.
In recent years, Burning Man has attracted a greater share of high-income earners, with 35% of attendees earning between $100,000 to $299,999 in 2023, up from 21% in 2015, demographic data shows. Meanwhile, there's been a sharp decrease in those who earn less than $50,000 a year attending, according to the same data.
But there are signs even wealthier Americans are starting to curb their spending, which could be contributing to weaker-than-usual Burning Man ticket sales this year. A survey published in June from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia found one-third of people earning over $150,000 said they were worried about making ends meet over the next six months.
Lower kimono sales
Businesses that cater to Burning Man celebrants also say they're feeling the pinch. David Carr, owner of San Francisco apparel store Kimono Dave, said the shop typically makes between 25% to 40% of all its sales during the week leading up to Burning Man.
This year, though, that might not be the case.
"It's taken a lot longer for people to start shopping than we are used to seeing," Carr told CBS MoneyWatch.
He's encouraged, though, by a recent near-record sales day that he believes is related to this year's cooler forecast. Carr sews every piece he sells himself, including many coats.
"The weather is trending to be much colder than it's been the past few years, so that could be why I had such a huge sales day yesterday," he said.
Carr, 34, has himself attending Burning Man for the past 14 years, and wouldn't dare miss an event. He suspects that the last two years' bad weather as well as the economy have contributed to lackluster ticket sales this year. He said he believes it could be good news for stalwarts like himself. "It has really weeded out a lot of the fair weather 'Burners,'" he said.

BROOKLYN, MI – Fans saw 51 laps of racing at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, Aug. 18, before rain forced NASCAR to postpone the finish .
The race was rescheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19. Fans who can’t come back to watch the rest of the race can exchange their ticket for a future ticket, thanks to the MIS Weather Protection Program.

Grandstand tickets that aren’t used Monday can be exchanged for a future ticket of equal or lesser value at 11 NASCAR tracks, including:
- Darlington Raceway
- Daytona International Speedway* (not for the Daytona 500)
- Homestead-Miami Speedway
- Kansas Speedway
- Martinsville Speedway
- Michigan International Speedway
- NASCAR Chicago Street Race
- Phoenix Raceway* (not for the championship race)
- Richmond Raceway
- Talladega Superspeedway
- Watkins Glen International
Ticketholders have 60 days to request the exchange. They must choose a race to exchange for sometime in the next year – which includes next year’s MIS race (no date has been announced yet).
Click here to fill out the form or call 888-905-7223.
RELATED: How often does it rain during NASCAR weekend at MIS?
No refunds are available. The Weather Protection Program only applies for races that are postponed to another date, not races that are only delayed or rain shortened. For more details, click here .
Only regular grandstand tickets can be exchanged – not parking, camping, pre-race passes, complimentary tickets, corporate tickets or tickets bought on the secondary market.
The program also applied for the 2023 MIS race, as the finish of that race was postponed to Monday, too.
Because of the postponement, camping guests can stay an extra day, and don’t need to be out until noon on Tuesday.

Unfortunately You Can't Buy Tickets to See Seattle Mariners in Little League Classic
Brady farkas | 1 hour ago.
- Seattle Mariners
On Sunday night, it was announced that the Seattle Mariners will take on the New York Mets in the 2025 version of the Little League Classic in Williamsport, Penn.
One of baseball's biggest days on the calendar, it's a day where the major leagues meets the little leagues for fun, camaraderie and memories. The 2024 version between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers was a great success for everyone involved.
For the M's, this will represent multiple great things. First, it will give them another nationally-televised game and a chance for national exposure as a brand. Second, it will allow the nation to see what we already know: That guys like JP Crawford and Victor Robles and Julio Rodriguez and Randy Arozarena have great personalities that deserve to be shown off. And third, it will help break up the monotony of the calendar and could help the M's stay invigorated for what we hope is a playoff push in 2025.
Unfortunately though, you won't be able to watch the signature event in person. There are no tickets sold to the general public, according to Little League's website:
Unfortunately, tickets to the MLB Little League® Classic are unavailable to the general public, due to the very small size of the stadium and providing seats for all of our World Series teams, families, and volunteers. Major League Baseball typically holds a ticket lottery for residents of Lycoming County (which is the home of Williamsport, Pennsylvania), for the limited amount of tickets to distribute to residents in our area. More information on that lottery can be found at MLB.com/LLClassic .
The game is played at Historic Bowman Field, which is a minor league stadium that lacks the capacity of major league facilities. And as stated above, the limited seats are taken up by all the 20 Little League teams, their families and event volunteers.
The game will be played on Aug 17., 2025 and will be shown on ESPN.
