This Icon Vehicle Dynamics 3" Lift Kit is designed to fit all 2000-2005 Ford Excursion vehicles built on the 4x4 chassis. This item will NOT fit 2wd models! Excursion owners pay attention - its easy to dismiss this ICON 3" 43000-99 kit as just another lift kit. It might look similar to other kits but believe us when we say its hands down better than the rest! ICON designs and builds this race inspired suspension system using the same great quality that has made their entire line of Heavy Duty Ford Kits world famous. This ICON 43000-99 3" Suspension System was developed for and tested on Ford SuperDuty and Excursion vehicles in the deserts of Baja Mexico. The same kit that Off-Road Race teams rely on for chase duty are available in a bolt-on kit for the 4wd Excursion. Each Icon Vehicle Dynamics suspension lift is built from the ground up to be bulletproof. ICON Vehicle Dynamics Ford Excursion 3" Suspension System. Fits 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Excursion 4x4 models only. Will NOT fit 2wd models. ICON starts with laser cut pieces to ensure a precise fit and finishes up with some of the prettiest and strongest welds you'll ever see in a production lift kit. This is NOT a cheap mass production kit made overseas. This product is MADE IN THE USA and you pay more and you get more when you buy Icon Vehicle Dynamics products, simple as that. Yes, this lift kit is super strong and it rides great... but the real beauty of the Icon 43000-99 3" lift spring hanger and shackle kit is it allows the stock front leaf springs to be reused and makes for a super easy installation. The best feature is this kit provides increased suspension travel and better shock absorbers which allow this kit to ride better than stock!

Ford Excursion owners wanting to level their SUV generally run the 3" front lift in the front and a 2" lift for the rear. Excursion SUV's do not sit as low in the front compared to the F-250 and F-350 trucks. PerformanceLifts.com recommends all customers measure the difference in front to rear height to determine the correct rear block kit as Excursion heights do vary. If you want to lift your vehicle and retain the factory look, (higher in the rear) a taller rear block kit will be required. This Icon Vehicle Dynamics Excursion 3" lift system comes complete with BULLETPROOF spring hanger brackets and replacement front shackles. With no change in spring rate and the optional Bilstein 5100 or Icon V.S. Signature series shock absorbers, the ride quality cannot be beat. This Icon system is very plush and extremely drivable in the corners and maintains the factory tow ratings. The Icon V.S. Signature series shock is the best riding shock we offer for this lift, slightly better than the Bilstein but more expensive as Icon produces their V.S. series shock absorbers in-house. The Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber has a Limited Lifetime Warranty whereas the Icon V.S. Shock warranty is only 90 days. All required hardware and fasteners necessary to install this kit are included, as are detailed instructions.

Optional Items: An adjustable pan rod bar is available for 2000-2005 4x4 Excursion vehicles and is highly recommended. The adjustable pan rod bar allows you to easily adjust the position of the front axle under the vehicle and get it properly centered beneath the frame rails. The ICON Adjustable Pan Rod Bar # 39290 is considered a necessity by PerformanceLifts.com and ICON Vehicle Dynamics.

This 3" lift kit fits 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 model year 4x4 Excursion only and works with all power and drivetrain configurations, including the 7.3L and 6.0L PowerStroke Diesels, as well as those equipped with the 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10 Triton gas motors. Body Lift Kits

Unlike Suspension lifts, body lift kits don’t modify the suspension. Instead, lift is achieved using a series of alloy or composite spacers stacked on top of your vehicle’s factory body mount bushings. No. ..I was just driving it tonight for the first time. .. better than stock with this all spring kit  

Truck looks nice! Are you running any type of wheel spacer/adapter with those rims?  

no wheel adapter. they are 18x9 with a 5 " backspace. the fit perfect and dont rub.  

sorry wed. yes, on the harley wheels look like there is an aluminum spacer about 2 inches thick. sorry for the confusion, i just put the new 18x9 wheels on there. the harley wheels actually did not rub. I will say that I have heard that the spacers make it tougher on the ball joints and stuff but i dont actually know that from experience or anything  

My 5" rims rub....I can't see how 6.25" BS rims wouldn't rub the springs unless you limit the turning of the knuckle..  

That makes sence..I was just replying based on the 5" BS you said eayler, didn't want others thinking they wouldn't rub. yes '05 up rims all have 6.25" BS and with using 2" spacers will clear.

Raise the bar of your 2000-2005 Ford Excursion 4WD by installing this 10-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 38" tires.

Up front the lift kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar links, bump stop brackets and precision tuned NX2 or FOX nitrogen charged shocks.

In the rear the base kit utilizes replacement Glide-Ride full leaf spring packs, u-bolts and a matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX Performance shocks.

Glide-Ride Leaf Springs

Built to outperform, BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design. Upgrading to BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs will reduce axle wrap and provide flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.

Steering Correction

To optimize steering geometry once lifted, a forged drop pitman arm is used to minimize the steering angle and pair it with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep them in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Recommended Tires & Wheels

(Trimming may be required)

• 38 x 13.5 with 16 x 10 and 4 in. Backspace

• Models with rear CV style driveshaft may experience drive line vibration.
• If your vehicle is equipped with a rear anti-sway bar, you should consider the rear sway bar links available in the options section.
• Front and rear driveshaft modification will be required.
• Due to variance from the factory in rear block height, it may be necessary to change the factory block to achieve a desired stance.
