LAKE GENEVA TROLLEY TOUR at the Grand Geneva on Mondays at 11:00am – $55 Reservations are required at least one hour prior Join us on a one-of-a-kind guided tour of Lake Geneva! Enjoy stories and trivia. Guests will get one hour to enjoy the downtown area. Lunch is included. Please call (800) 558-3417 x3782 to make reservations. All classes with required reservations will be charged a $5 cancelation fee if reservation is not canceled one hour prior to the start of the activity.

operates mini trains going through the Old Town, around right (west) bank of Geneva Lake, through international district and via parks and residences.

Prices of Mini Train Tours in 2015:

Free with Geneva Pass. Geneva Old Town Tour - CHF 10.90 adults, CHF 6.90 children. Geneve Parks & Residence Tours* - CHF 8.90 adults, CHF 5.90 children. Geneva International Tours** - CHF 25 adults, CHF 13 children. All 3 tours combined: CHF 32 adults, CHF 16 children.

*Parks and Residence Tours run daily from 1st March till 31th September. **Geneva International Tours run daily from 1st April till 31th October and on the weekends in the March and from 1st November till 24th December.

Little Solar Powered Electric Train

30-35 minutes journey around left (east) bank of Geneva Lake - this electric mini train, started in 1995, is running from English Garden to Baby Plage and back. Audio comentary is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish.

Enjoy a 45-minute guided tour of Geneva’s east side including stories of houses, buildings, and people with an option to exit the trolley at Good Templar Park to take an additional 30-minute guided tour of the Viking Ship. Tours start every hour from 12 PM – 4 PM Wednesday, June 21, Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23 at South Third and Campbell Streets. The trolley will pick up visitors from Good Templar Park on the next tour. The 4 PM tour will not include the Viking Ship tour option, but the tour will take visitors to see the location of the ship. Registration is required and seating is limited. All participants will receive free admission to the Geneva History Museum and a swag bag of coupons from our sponsors.

You get 3D glasses to wear on the Trolley that is suppose to enhance the experience. I heard it's similar to the Disney light shows where you wear the special 3D glasses.

I did not know that, but it does make it more unique. I do know that sometimes it is hard to get reservations for the trolley.

Its $5 now and you have to make reservations through eventbrite which charges a fee. Not worth it. Certainly not a "festival" of lights. Only 30 minutes and hot cocoa was a half cup, not even a full cup. You can drive through for free but we drove from Kenosha and wanted to experience the trolley ride. Very disappointed in light display
