We were with a couple from Australia and a lady from the Ukraine so the tour was in English. Great knowledge of the city and nice and slow. This boat can go under the very lowest bridges so we got to see all the canals. Highly recommended.

Fantastische ervaring: Een rondvaart waarvan ik eigenlijk niet heel veel verwachtte dan een rondje rond de stad, was verrassend leuk! Jeroen, onze kapitein was een paar minuten te laat, maar liet dit netjes telefonisch weten en heetten ons dan ook van harte welkom toen hij arriveerden. Hij had plattegronden op de sloep waarop hij precies aangaf welke route we zouden gaan varen en welke bezienswaardigheden we zouden gaan zien. Langs de hele route heeft hij uit uitgebreid verteld over historische gebouwen, maar deelden ook heel veel tips en weetjes! Heb genoten van de hele trip!

Fantastische ervaring: Excellent canal tour. It's very small and private, with a very knowledgeable, friendly guide, exploring all the canals around Haarlem. Jeroen (the skipper/owner/guide) was brilliant, knows all about the beautiful city of Haarlem, and let my 5-year-old son 'captain' the boat for a few minutes on a quiet canal. Highly recommended .. but make sure you book online in advance, even on the day itself, to guarantee a place. The boat only takes 12 people (very comfortably) and it's rightly very popular!

Fantastische ervaring: This tour was absolutely fabulous. The owner and guide was an excellent conversationalist and offered a lot of useful information. The setting was very intimate, 12 guests max, and he made everyone feel at ease, showing interest in his guests and providing a lovely overview of his beautiful city. He pointed out historical places to visit on foot as well as recommended restaurants and dishes to try. The boat was very comfortable, clean, easy to get in and out of, there were maps for orientation in the river and canals, and even sunscreen on offer. The tour lasted about an hour and 15 min. I am planning to bring my husband and two other kids to do this tour again. Thank you for a lovely time.

Fantastische ervaring: A small boat which means you'll go through the smaller canals that the larger tour boats can't enter. A friendly and well informed captain that will give you not just historical information but advice on the best restaurants and even real estate. Little touches like offering blankets when it gets chilly and asking about your day made this the best part of my day. A lovely way to see the most important sights in Haarlem.

Fantastische ervaring: Not only did Jeroen deliver a first-rate canal tour of Haarlem with guided commentary, he also did a huge personal favour by allowing me to borrow his phone to take photos during the tour after my phone was stolen previously, and emailed me a link to download the photos later that day. Fantastische ervaring: My husband and I took this tour in July 2018. Haarlem is BEAUTIFUL and Jeroen was FABULOUS! He explained the route we'd be taking and what we'd be seeing before we headed out. Then he provided enough information about the sights without overwhelming us. It's great having a true local guide - someone who grew up and has lived in Haarlem. He seemed to know everyone we passed along the way - as a local would. Being in an open-air boat allows for a better experience, as well. I love having the natural environment around me, rather than being enclosed and looking out a window. Pictures turn out better because there isn't plexiglass distorting anything or causing reflections or showing dirt and smears. Skip Amsterdam and go to Haarlem to cruise the canals with Haarlem Canal Tours. You'll love it!

Fantastische ervaring: I went on the Haarlem Canal Tour with my Mum and sister and we really enjoyed it. We had not heard about the tour before we arrived in Haarlem but my sister found it when she went looking for things to do while we were there. We were delighted she did as it was a really good tour. Jeroen (the owner/skipper/tour guide) was very welcoming, informative and impressively gave a lot of the tour in both English and Dutch, he transferred from one language to the other as if it was as easy as counting to 10. He gave us a great tour and an good insight into life in Haarlem both now and in the past. I would highly recommend this tour as it gives you a great view of the city of Haarlem.

Fantastische ervaring: This company is a one man show and the owner, and skipper of The Cornelia, does an excellent job giving an interesting and informative tour of Haarlem from a canal point of view. It's definitely a very pleasant way to see so many sites in a relatively short period of time as well as get a good orientation of the town along with some local history. At €13 it's an excellent value (almost 1/2 less than we paid in Amsterdam). There's only 1 boat, so be sure to book in advance on the company website.

Took the tour on a pleasant June day, cooling breezes wafting through the open windows. Good automated commentary of the passing highlights of Haarlem. Very helpful and personable young Captain called Peter who took us faultlessly round the waters. Pleasant and informative way to spend 50 minutes.
