Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Temple stands on the western bank of the holy river Ganga, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest of Shiva Temples. The main deity is known by the names Shri Vishwanath and Vishweshwara (IAST: Vishveshvara) literally meaning Lord of the Universe. Varanasi city is also called Kashi in ancient time, and hence the Temple is popularly called as Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The etymology of the name Vishveshvara is Vishva: Universe, Ishvara: lord, one who has dominion.

Payment Terms:

The payment terms are as follows:

50% advance payment of the total package cost at the time of booking

Balance 50% payment along with GST should be paid within 7 days before the departure

Booking Policy

Online Booking: You can purchase our services from our sales outlets at Bangalore or Chennai, or you can book your tour/services / payment online through our website. Our website provides the facility making online booking of tours and services. After confirmation in written from us via Email or by in writing.

Booking Amount

For the services contracted, a minimum deposit of 30% of the total cost is to be paid by you to Ravel Roads. The advance is required to hold the booking on confirmed basis.

Balance Payment

The full balance payment is to be paid 10 days prior to the date of start of services. Any booking made within 10 working days of the date of services would be considered as a late booking and for same the full and final payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

Note: Apart from above, in case of bookings for special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (Christ-mas, New Year) full payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

Payments: All payments are to be paid in behalf of Ravel Roads.

Cancellation / No show / Early Departure Policy:

In case of cancellation of tour or travel services due to any reason, you are requested Please inform us in writing or by Email. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

Cancellation charges for any mode of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.

Air ticket issued on special fare are non-refundable and the guest shall bear cancellation charges.

Group Tours

1. If the reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to the date of arrival – 90% may be refunded (except the transaction charges).

2. If the reservation is cancelled 15 days prior to the date of arrival – 50% may be refunded (except the transaction charges) .

3. If the reservation is cancelled 07 days prior to the date of arrival – 25% may be refunded (except the transaction charges).

If the cancellation is any later than the above stated period or in case of ‘No Show’- No Refund.

No refund or any changes will be accepted at last minute for tour starting or after starting or middle of the tour.

Individual Tours (FIT Tours)

Cancellation policy of Individual tours is subject to changes. It depends upon the cancellation policy of the respective hotels and other service operators your tour is associated with. Different hotels and service operators have different cancellation policies which we are required to abide by. In the unfortunate event of cancellation of trip by guests, we would charge 10% of total booking amount as processing charges +the charges levied by the corresponding service providers.

What’s not to love?Jaipur, also known as the Pink City of India, is around 260 km from the Indian capital New Delhi and forms part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit along with Agra.

Day 1: Varanasi (Arrival )

Upon arrival meet and Greet at Varanasi Airport / Railway station and transfer to Hotel and  freshen up. Visit to  New Birla Temple, Sankat Mochan temple, Durga Temple , Manas Mandir, BHU. And then visit Baranasi silk weaving place and in free time can go for shopping. In evening visit  Ghat  to take part in Ganga Aarti ceremony of Mother Holy Ganges at Dasaswamedh ghat and Back to hotel. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Varanasi.

Day 2: Varanasi  (sightseeing) - Varanasi Airport/ Railway Station

Early morning 05:00 AM  visit Dassaswamedh  Ghat for Subah-e-Banaras and enjoy sunrise and Pind Daan. And after this visit to-  Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Kaal Bhairaw Temple. After breakfast, visit Sarnath, it is a place where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, or where Buddha preached his first sermon. Visit Dhamekh Stupa,the remains of Buddhist  monasteries, the Ashoka Pillar  and  Dharmarajika Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Thai Temple, Archaeological Museum, Tibetan Temple.The Mahabodhi Society Temple at Sarnath is one of the most ancient temples in India. At a distance of 1.5 km from Madikeri Bus Station, Raja's Seat is a popular viewpoint towards the south of Madikeri Fort in the picturesque hill town of Madikeri , Coorg. This is one of the top tourist places to visit in Coorg and also a famous sunset point in Madikeri. The Raja's Seat, which means the Seat of Kings, is a brick and mortar structure with four pillars connected by arches. It is built on a high elevation with a commanding view of the cliffs and valleys. This lovely spot was once a favorite place of recreation for the King of Coorg. He used to spend time with his queen in the garden and watching the setting sun. The spot offers a breathtaking view of towering hills, green valleys studded with paddy fields. At a distance of 9 km from Talacauvery and 36 km from Madikeri, Bhagamandala is a sacred place situated in the Coorg district of Karnataka. Also known as Bhagundeshwara Kshetra, it is one of the famous pilgrimage sites in Karnataka and also one of the top places to experince Coorg Tourism . Bhagamandala is situated at the confluence of two rivers, the Cauvery and the Kannike. A third river, the Sujyothi is said to join from underground. It is well known as Triveni Sangama and also considered as Dakshina Kashi. It is a common practice for pilgrims to take a dip in the sangama and perform rituals to their ancestors before proceeding to Talacauvery , the birthplace of Kaveri River. During 1785-1790, the area was occupied by Tipu Sultan and he renamed it Afesalabad. Then in 1790 King Dodda Veerarajendra took Bhagamandala back into an independent Kodagu. A short distance .....

About Talakaveri

History of talakaveri, 4 madikeri fort.

At a distance of 1 km from Madikeri Bus Station, Madikeri Fort is a historical fort situated in the heart of Madikeri town in Coorg district of Karnataka. Still preserving its old charm, Madikeri Fort is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Coorg. Madikeri Fort was first built by Mudduraja, the then king of Coorg, in the last quarter of the 17th century AD. The king had also constructed a mud palace inside the fort premises. The fort was built as a mud structure and was rebuilt in stone by Tipu Sultan in 1781 AD and named the site as Jaffarabad. In 1790 AD, Dodda Veerarajendra took control of the fort. The fort faced further changes and renovations during the period 1812 - 1814 AD when it came under the rule of Lingarajendra Wodeyar II. In 1834 AD the fort was captured by the British. The Madikeri Fort showcases beautiful architectural designs. The two storeyed palace in the fort complex is a huge and spacious one which .....

At a distance of 1 km from Madikeri Bus Station, Omkareshwara Temple is an ancient and magnificent temple situated near Madikeri Fort in Madikeri. It is one of the must include places in Coorg Tour Packages . Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Omkareshwara Temple was built by Lingarajendra in 1820 CE. It is one of the must-visit Coorg tourist places . The shivalinga inside the temple is believed to be brought from Kashi. According to the legend, the king had killed a pious Brahmin to fulfill his political ambitions. However, the king started to have nightmares for his cruel deed. To free himself from the nightmares, the King sought the advice of a few wise men and they told the king to build a temple of Lord Shiva to regain his mental peace. The king followed their advice and brought a Shiva lingam from the holy town of Kashi and installed it at a newly constructed temple. .....

Bangalore to Varanasi

Meet on arrival at Bangalore Airport to board the flight to Varanasi. On arrival at  Varanasi Airport transfer to Hotel. Relax and proceed to visit to Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the foremost attraction of Varanasi, Ganga Aarti. Priests gather near the ghat and perform synced rituals. By the end of the ceremony, thousands of people who are watching the ritual from the banks of the river place a small oil lamp on a leaf and let it float on the river. You will be able to find thousands of such lamps floating on the river, which will look like the sky with burning stars.

Varanasi Sightseeing

Before breakfast, proceed for a boat ride on the river Ganges to enjoy the rising sun, rituals along the side of the river and the ghats. There are 88 ghats in Varanasi and each one is famous for one element. It is not possible to cruise along all the 88 ghats. The cruise will cover all top ghats. Once you land on the shore, you will be taken on a temple tour. Early morning is the right time to visit temples as it is the time of rituals. Top temples chosen are Kashi Vishwanath temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple, Bharat Mata temple, Annapurna temple, BHU and Manas Mandir.  After the temple tour, back to hotel. Breakfast and relax. Afternoon drive to  Sarnath – On arrival visit Buddha temples, Chaukhandi stupa, Dhamekha stupa, museum and others. The museum contains Aartifacts, statues, arts and others. You will be taken back to Varanasi by evening and the rest of the day is yours. You can take up shopping in Varanasi or go for sightseeing on your own. Top items to buy in Varanasi are deity statues, brass works, Banaras silk material, incense items and others. Back to Varanasi.  Overnight.

Varanasi to Bodh Gaya

Breakfast checkout and drive to Bodhgaya On arrival check into Hotel.  Later proceed to visit top Buddhist spots - Bodhi tree, Maha Bodhi temple and Buddha Statue. Top Hinduism pilgrim spots covered are Vaishali, HaleshwarAsthan, Janki temple, SitaKund and others. Overnight

Bodh Gaya to Varanasi

Breakfast, drive to Gaya which is 12 km away from Bodhgaya. Gaya is famous for the presence of Lord Vishnu’s footprint. Today, the footprint can be seen in Vishnupad temple. Tour covers Vishnu temple, Vishnupad temple, Chinese temple, Tibetan temple, Japanese temple and Phalguna River.

Later drive to Varanasi. On  arrival check into Hotel.  Overnight.

Varanasi to Allahabad

Breakfast, and drive to  Allahabad for day trip On arrival proceed to visit Sangam is the first spot in the trip. This is the place where River Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati. It is a holy place for Hindus and you can find numerous people performing rituals and taking holy dips in the shallow waters. Other top attractions covered in the trip are AnandBhavan, Hanuman temple and SwarajBhawan. SawajBhawan is the house of late Indira Gandhi. Anand Bhavan is a mosque built in the memory of Nehru. Later drive back to Vaanasi. Overnight.

Any amendment in the original booking has to be given to us in writing. All Changes will be processed only after the receipt of the same by the company. However, if any of the amendment requests results in cancellation of one or more services, then the company is liable to recover cancellation charges as indicated in the above mentioned table.
