It's safe to say that Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour has well and truly surpassed every single expectation we had. The Eras Tour officially opened its doors in Glendale, Arizona on March 17th where Taylor performed songs from all 10 of her albums.

Taylor has over 200 songs to choose from for The Eras Tour setlist – but what songs made the cut? And what songs got cut?

Here's all the songs in Taylor's Eras Tour setlist, including every song featured in the show, how many songs she plays, every surprise song and whether or not she will change the setlist to include The Tortured Poets Department .

What songs are on Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour setlist?

How many songs does Taylor Swift play on the Eras Tour setlist?

The average Taylor Swift concert is around 2 hours long but The Eras Tour is a whole different beast... The concert is a whopping 3 hours and 15 minutes long, and Taylor performs a huge 45 tracks within that timeframe.

Not all the tracks are performed in full, though – some are shortened versions. There's also a couple of additional little interludes that pop up throughout the show.

For context, on the Rep tour, Taylor performed 19 tracks in total, including several mashups that featured some of her older songs. For The 1989 World Tour, she performed 18 songs, while 17 songs were performed on The Red Tour and the Speak Now World Tour.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour setlist: What songs does Taylor Swift perform on the Eras Tour?

Taylor now only has two more legs of the Eras Tour to complete: Europe and the second U.S. and Canada leg. International fans heading to the shows in 2024 now have a pretty solid idea of what to expect when she performs later down the line. But big changes could come thanks to The Tortured Poets Department .

The Eras Tour set list features a mix of her highest charting songs, lead singles, fan favourites, outright bangers and tracks that stand out as milestones in her incredible career so far.

On March 31st, during her first show in Arlington, TX, Taylor confirmed that the setlist will have some changes as the tour goes on. Two permanent changes have happened so far, with songs being replaced and added:

• 'invisible string' was cut and replaced with 'the 1' on March 31st.
• 'Long Live' was added on July 7th.

All Eras Tour setlist changes and updates so far:

*'invisible string' was replaced by 'the 1' from March 31st onwards. It returned on May 6th in Nashville night 2, but 'the 1' came back to the setlist on May 7th.

**On July 7th and 8th, Taylor performed 'Long Live' after 'Enchanted'. The song has now officially been added to the full setlist.

***On July 22nd, Taylor replaced 'tis the damn season' so she could perform 'No Body, No Crime' with HAIM. 'Tis the damn season' returned to the main setlist on August 24th in Mexico City.

For all the shows where Phoebe Bridgers appeared as a support act, Taylor performed 'Nothing New' with her during the Red (TV) section.

Ice Spice joined Taylor on stage to perform 'Karma' on May 26th and May 27th in East Rutherford, NJ, in honour of the release of their new version of the song.

As of March 9th 2024, there is still no section on the tour dedicated to her debut album, Taylor Swift .

What surprise songs has Taylor Swift performed?

Much like her other tours, Taylor will perform two surprise songs for each show. In 2023, Taylor played an additional 124 songs from her own discography. (Plus one of Gracie Abrams' own songs.)

The list has been reset for the 2024 shows, and Taylor has now introduced mashups.

Taylor has 'reset' the surprise song list, which means anyone attending a show in 2024 can anticipate hearing a song she's already performed. She previously stated that she will only play each surprise song once during the tour, unless she messes one up.

There's also no rules for Taylor repeating songs from Midnights as surprise songs, which means fans may get to hear the likes of 'You're On Your Own Kid' and 'Snow on the Beach' again at some point in the future.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist for the international shows?

As of March 9th 2024, the Eras Tour setlist has remained the same as the U.S. leg. However, with the release of The Tortured Poets Department in April, things could change. More on that further down the page.

Fans attending the European shows might end up hearing Taylor perform 'Castles Crumbling' with Hayley Williams as an additional song during the Speak Now section, as Paramore will be supporting her throughout those tour dates. (Both Phoebe Bridgers and HAIM joined Taylor on stage to perform 'Nothing New' and 'No Body, No Crime' respectively on the nights they were support acts.)

After completing her shows in South America, Australia, Japan and Singapore, Taylor is now set to pick the tour back up in Europe in May 2024 and run through to mid-August, before returning to North America in November 2024.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist to include The Tortured Poets Department ?

Taylor's brand new album will be released on April 19th, just before she embarks on the European leg of the Eras Tour.

We won't know for sure whether or not the official setlist will change to accommodate those songs until she kicks off the Eras Tour in Paris on May 9th.

It's unclear if she will add a new TTPD section to the tour, but it's looking very likely that Taylor will perform some of those new songs as surprise songs. We'll update this article as soon as we know more!

What are Taylor's most performed songs on tour?

Before she embarked on The Eras Tour, Taylor’s top 3 most performed songs are ‘Love Story’ (491 times), ‘Our Song’ (404 times) and ‘You Belong With Me’ (381 times).

Of course, almost all of Taylor’s most performed songs are from her first two albums. As the list goes on, the Speak Now bops, Red bangers and 1989 hits start to weave their way in.

Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift ‘s Eras Tour is finally here.

The 52-date trek kicks off Friday night in Glendale, Ariz., at State Farm Stadium with openers Gayle and Paramore. This marks Swift’s first tour since the Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018, as her 2020 Lover Fest was canceled before it even began due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Swift has released three studio albums — “Folklore” and “Evermore” in 2020 and “Midnights” in October 2022 — in addition to re-recording “Fearless” and “Red” (which both came with bonus tracks) in 2021.

Overwhelming demand for tickets when they went on sale in November caused Ticketmaster to crash, resulting in disappointment for hundreds of thousands of fans. The tour broke the record for the most concert tickets sold by an artist in one day with 2.4 million, and the Ticketmaster debacle even led to a hearing in Congress over the lack of competition in the ticketing industry. Long story short, those seeing Swift perform tonight are on holy ground — and the rest will just have to tolerate it.

Taylor Swift’s Record-Breaking Eras Tour: See the Setlist

On Wednesday (August 9), the extensive first leg of Taylor Swift ‘s career-spanning Eras Tour came to a triumphant close. During the final performance of six straight nights at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the 33-year-old hitmaker announced that a re-recorded version of her 2014 album  1989  will be released on October 27.

The news is just the latest in a sea of special announcements and surprises that have coincided with Swift’s first headlining tour in five years. Since kicking off on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, The Eras Tour has been Swift’s platform to share news directly with her dedicated fans. Along with the release dates for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and the extended edition of her 2022 album Midnights , she debuted her music videos for “Karma” and “I Can See You” from the stage. 

The special connection that Swift has fostered with her massive fanbase has helped land The Eras Tour in the history books. The U.S. Justice Department launched a formal investigation into Ticketmaster after unpredicted demand for the tour caused the site to crash during its initial pre-sale.

On a more positive note, sales of beads and craft supplies rose due to thousands of fans creating Swift-themed friendship bracelets to exchange at show dates. The Eras Tour is also on track to become the highest-grossing concert tour in history , breaking a sales record previously held by Elton John.

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert film premiered in October to an enthusiastic crowd of celebrities, fans and of course Taylor’s team, with the star of the film in attendance. As one of the first to see the film, TheWrap got the scoop on which songs from the wildly popular tour made the film, and which songs were cut.

After making speeches in multiple auditoriums for separate audiences, Swift, clad in a sky blue floral-patterned dress (probably in theme for “1989 (Taylor’s Version) with her hair pinned up like the signature bob she had when that album first came out), sat back to enjoy the film’s premiere in one of the IMAX screening rooms with her background vocalists and publicist Tree Paine.

The documentary runs 2 hours and 48 minutes, slightly shorter than Swift’s three-hour setlist and performance, which she has brought to 17 of the United States so far in addition to Mexico. The European leg will kick off in November, with Swift returning for 15 more U.S. shows in October and November of 2024. The opening night of Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" helped answer the question on every Swiftie's mind: What is she going to play at her concerts?

Swift kicked off her long-awaited tour Friday, March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, which Mayor Jerry Weiers temporarily renamed Swift City by official proclamation to welcome the singer.

The "Eras Tour" is her first concert series since 2018's Reputation Stadium Tour. In the meantime, Swift has released three new studio albums, “Folklore,” “Evermore” and “Midnights,” and she's rerecorded several of her former tracks.

The singer also never toured her seventh studio album, "Lover," as the Lover Fest concert series, scheduled for the summer of 2020, was canceled due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With so much ground to cover, fans speculated how she could fit all 10 eras of her discography into one concert. The result? A three-hour long spectacle featuring more than 40 songs, according to Variety , who also shared footage from opening night on TikTok .

Across social media, fans were sharing their favorite songs, moments and outfit changes from the show.

One user tweeted six of her looks from Friday night, writing, "now THAT is how you put on a show, taylor swift you are insane."

Another wrote , "forever grateful to live in the same lifetime as taylor swift," sharing a photo of her singing in a dark, shimmery dress.

Though Swift will be playing to stadiums and arenas, many fans were left disappointed when they couldn't purchase tickets from Ticketmaster back in November after the general sale was canceled.

The ticketing company previously said in a statement that over 3.5 million fans registered for the Verified Fan program at the time — the largest number in the company's history. Ticketmaster also noted that they experienced a “staggering number of bot attacks,” contributing to 3.5 billion total system requests, four times its previous peak.

At the level of demand Ticketmaster saw in the fall, the company said that Swift would need to perform over 900 stadium shows, or do a performance every night for the next two and a half years. Ticketmaster was questioned by the Senate Judiciary Committee after the fiasco.

Swift took to social media  on the day the public sale was set to take place, writing in an Instagram story that she's "extremely protective of my fans."

“It’s really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and excruciating for me to just watch mistakes happen with no recourse,” she wrote.

In December, however, some fans got another chance at tickets after Ticketmaster worked with "Taylor's team" to provide additional opportunities.

Taylor Swift adds surprise songs to every Eras Tour setlist. See all the songs she's played so far

One of the most anticipated moments of each night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is her acoustic set .

At the far end of her stage, the singer-songwriter plays two different songs, one on the guitar and one on the piano.

Throughout 2023, fans from all over the globe tuned into social media to see which songs Swift would choose . She developed rules around the set. Each song could only be played once on the tour, unless she screwed it up. Oh, and she decided to start it all over again this year.

"I decided that in 2024, when we go back on tour, I'm just gonna open back up all the songs for surprise songs,” Swift said during her final 2023 performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil . “For one year, we've really gotten through a lot of songs, so I'm just gonna make all the songs fair game when we go back on tour."

That day has arrived. Swift performed her first show of 2024 in Tokyo on Wednesday . Throughout the year, she will travel to 23 different cities around the world. Follow along here to see which surprise songs she plays at each tour stop. Below, see what she played — and didn't — in 2023.

Taylor Swift will perform in Miami in six months. Here’s a countdown to popstar’s October concerts

Floridian Swifties , you have roughly six months to grab a nice dress and stare off into the sunset with  Taylor Swift .

While in the midst of taking her critically acclaimed Eras Tour international, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the popstar to North America. Swift is set perform in Miami this fall.

The second leg kicks off with three dates at the Hard Rock Stadium from Friday, Oct. 18 to Sunday, Oct. 20. The Eras Tour, which began March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, has grossed more than  $300 million  and  stimulated the U.S. economy .

Whether you've already locked down tickets or not, here's how to prepare to see Swift  bejeweled  on stage during her more than three-hour-long production. 

Swifties, get ready to bookmark! Here's a countdown to Friday, Oct. 18:

Is there any way to get taylor swift miami tickets.

Tickets to all three of the Miami dates for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” sold out soon after they were posted via Ticketmaster  back in September 2023. Resale tickets are available via  StubHub  and  SeatGeek .

The catch? A majority of these tickets are sold above face value, ranging from $1,500 to $10,000 for seats.

Where is the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida?

Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive Suite 102, Miami Gardens, will be the site of Taylor Swift’s concert.

The last time Swift performed at Hard Rock Stadium was on her 2018 Reputation Tour. Another tie to Hard Rock Stadium for Swift is that her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, won the Super Bowl there in 2020. Hard Rock Stadium is home to the NFL's Miami Dolphins.

What can I bring inside Hard Rock Stadium? 

Hard Rock Stadium allows fans  one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and does not exceed 12” by 6” and 12” or a 1-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, fans may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.

Items such as smartphones, binoculars, and cameras will still be permitted into the stadium. This policy is meant to speed up the process of entering the stadium along with increasing security measures.

Throughout the Eras Tour, Swift has performed two songs, usually album deep cuts, not on her setlist at each show. With the start of 2024, the popstar said she will be repeating songs again.

Swift's new album is slated to drop on Friday, April 19, weeks before she returns touring internationally. She is slated to be performing in Paris on Thursday, May 9.

By then, Swifties will know if her 11th studio album will earn its own section on the setlist or if it will be added to the list of potential "surprise songs." However, there's a solid chance one of the Miami dates will hear the song " Florida!!!" played.

Who is Taylor Swift headliner Gracie Abrams? 

Abrams, 23, is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, and is the daughter of director J.J. Abrams. She saw critical acclaim for her first two EPs — “This is What It Feels Like" and "Minor" — as well her 2023 debut album Good Riddance. Prior to Swift, she opened up for fellow artist Olivia Rodrigo on her debut Sour tour. 

Abrams was also up for the "Best New Artist" Grammy but lost to R&B songstress, Victoria Monét.

What special dances or chants should I know ahead of time?

USA TODAY rounded up all of the  special dances, chants and outfits  to bring out during the Eras tour. Some of the top ones are:

'Delicate' chant

At the start of " Delicate ," right after Swift sings "We can't make any promises now can we, babe? But you can make me a drink," fans have taken to yelling: "One, two, three, let's go b----!" The chant was popularized after a viral vine.

'Bad Blood' chant

In 2015,  Swift came out with a remix to her hit song "Bad Blood" featuring Kendrick Lamar . During the concert, fans repeat a line of Lamar's part during the bridge.

' Anti-hero ' chant

In the "Anti-Hero" remix with Bleachers' frontman Jack Antonoff, he sings "Taylor, you'll be fine" after Swift sings "Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism like some kind of congressman?" in the second pre-chorus.

Fans are singing Antonoff's "Taylor, you'll be fine" at the same spot during the concert.

'Bejeweled' dance

A dance move created and made popular by TikTok user  @mikael.arellano  made its way into Swift's choreography. During  "Bejeweled,"  when Swift sings the word "shimmer," flutter your fingers out in front of you.

Taylor Swift's upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, lends itself to a new cameo in The Eras Tour movie that can make up for HAIM's absence.

Taylor Swift's upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department provides the perfect opportunity for a cameo in Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour that would make up for cutting her duet with HAIM from the concert movie. On March 14, 2024, an extended cut of The Eras Tour movie, titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version), was released on Disney+. This version includes four songs from the regular set list that were previously cut from the theatrical release along with the four remaining surprise songs from the acoustic sets of the three L.A. shows filmed for The Eras Tour movie .

During these filmed shows in L.A., opening act HAIM joined Swift during the evermore era to perform their duet "no body, no crime." While almost every song cut from Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in theaters was included in the Disney+ release, sadly, Swift's performance of "no body, no crime" with HAIM is one of the two songs still missing from The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) movie . However, one feature on Swift's upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, could lead to a cameo in The Eras Tour movie that would make up for HAIM's perpetual absence.

8 Biggest Differences Between The Eras Tour’s Theatrical & Disney+ Streaming Versions

Swift will resume The Eras Tour on May 9, 2024, in Paris, France, just a few weeks after the release of The Tortured Poets Department on April 19. It has yet to be confirmed whether Swift will create a new era for The Tortured Poets Department on The Eras Tour, which would be a tricky maneuver given how carefully curated and lengthy the set list already is. However, she is almost guaranteed to play tracks from her new album as surprise songs during the acoustic set.

The first song on The Tortured Poets Department tracklist is called "Fortnight," which features Post Malone. In the past, Swift has brought out surprise guests to perform with her during the acoustic set, so it wouldn't be unusual if Post Malone joined Swift onstage at one of her shows to perform an acoustic rendition of "Fortnight." If she arranged to have them filmed, Swift could add "Fortnight" and other acoustic TTPD performances to "The Acoustic Collection," a new section with all the bonus acoustic songs that appears after The Eras Tour movie's end credits in the extended cut on Disney+.

Not only would this allow The Tortured Poets Department era to be represented in The Eras Tour movie, thus fulfilling its purpose as a comprehensive showcase of every Taylor Swift era, but Post Malone's cameo during "Fortnight" would also make up for HAIM's disappointing absence in Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour by finally having a guest star in the concert movie.

While there is no section dedicated to Swift's debut era on The Eras Tour set list, Swift did include her performance of "Our Song" from her self-titled debut album as one of the surprise songs in The Eras Tour movie's acoustic set.

Post malone being in the eras tour movie extras would repeat a cameo from her last disney+ movie, bon iver made an appearance in swift's folklore: the long pond studio sessions.

Along with redeeming the exclusion of HAIM, Post Malone's appearance in The Eras Tour movie would also mirror a special cameo in Swift's last Disney+ movie . Four months after the surprise release of her eighth studio album, folklore , on July 24, 2020, Swift released a concert documentary on Disney+ to pair with it. In Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions , Swift convened with the album's two main collaborators, Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, at the titular remote studio in upstate New York, where they performed all 17 songs from folklore and discussed the meaning and creative process behind each track.

Vernon's guest appearance was a pleasant surprise in Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, which a Post Malone cameo in The Eras Tour movie could replicate.

The only duet on folklore is "exile," which features frontman Justin Vernon of indie band Bon Iver. Although he was not present during the filming of the Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions , footage of Vernon performing his parts on "exile" at a different recording studio was interspersed with Swift and co.'s performance to complete the duet. Vernon's guest appearance was a pleasant surprise in Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions , which a Post Malone cameo in The Eras Tour movie could replicate.

Bon Iver is also featured on the title track of Swift's ninth studio album, evermore, which was released less than five months after folklore on December 11, 2020, as a "sister album."

Disney+'s Bonus Features Are The Perfect Way To Add The Eras Tour Movie's Cut Guests

Swift & haim's "no body, no crime" could finally be included in the eras tour movie in the bonus section.

Even though it was filmed for The Eras Tour movie, one reason HAIM's "no body, no crime" may have been omitted is that Swift wanted the concert movie to be a celebration of her journey with her fans. Including HAIM as surprise guests in The Eras Tour movie would have prevented Swift from dedicating as much solo time with the Swifties as possible.
