Perfect family trip

I went travelling 1 month with my husbond and two kids this autumn and Top Tours arranged the whole trip for us. We went to Kuala Lumpur, Borneo and Bali. The trip was amazing and the perfect family trip with the right mix of relaxing time and sightseeing - it was just what we wanted. Very professionally planned and everything just went according to plan and smooth. I can give my warmest recommendations to Top Tours.

Turen gik til Thailand

Turen gik til Thailand, Krabi og Koh Yao Yai. Vi havde en fantastisk tur med god hjælp fra Nicklas fra Top Tours, som havde planlagt rejsen for os lige som vi ønskede den. Vi boede på 2 fantastisk skønne hoteller, hvoraf hotellet på Koh Yao Yai, var Niclas forslag, hvilket var en glædelig overraskelse. Meget smukt sted. Al transport fra A til B var en kæmpe oplevelse, da det var nøje planlagt af Nicklas, så vi både fik sejlet med longboat i en af nationalparkerne og kørt i åbne biler på tværs af Koh Aoh Yai. Vi var også i kontakt med Nicklas, da vi var derude om bl.a. hvilke bådture vi skulle tage. Han svarede altid hurtigt tilbage. Vi kan varmt anbefale Niclas og Top Tours.

Min mand og jeg havde en fantastisk tur…

Min mand og jeg havde en fantastisk tur til Thailand. Først et par overnatninger i Bangkok og derefter ophold i Krabi Aonang. Nicklas havde planlagt en tur lige efter vores ønsker og alt fungerede perfekt.

Har lige haft en fantastik tur til Thailand

Har lige haft en fantastik tur til Thailand, ø hop med fruen og svigerinden. To nætter i Bangkok, og 3 forskellige øer. En smule udfordringer på den ene ø med indkvartering, men der viste Nicklas hvorfor jeg til en hver tid vil vælge Top Tours igen. Stor ros for at være klar med hjælp på mail omgående, og hurtig respons på alle spørgsmål, både på rejsen ,og efter hjemkomst. Det gav os en tryg rejse ,tak for det. Min hustru og jeg valgte endnu en gang Top Tours

Min hustru og jeg valgte for anden gang top Tours til en tur til Thailand, alt fungerede, man bliver båret hele vejen, alt godt tilrettelagt. Turen denne gang gik til øen Koh Chang, vi valgte hotel resort Sylvan, det rene paradis, det er som at bo mit i regnskoven, søde og meget venlige personale som er på hele dagen, beliggenheden super der er stille og roligt, og på gå ben 20 min til byen KaiBar. Hotellet levede ikke op til billederne på internettet. Uhøflig personale. Beskidt. Jeg nægtede at sove der, da jeg ikke fik hvad jeg havde bestilt og betalt for, men de ville ikke betale tilbage. Kan absolut ikke anbefales.

Super service fra TopTours

Netop hjemvendt fra en 16 dages ferie i Thailand (Koh Mak og Koh Kood) vil jeg gerne komme med nogle roser til TopTours og ikke mindst Nicklas Højland fra TopTours. I samarbejde med Nicklas var vi selv med til at planlægge turen tilbage i oktober 2023 - herunder valg af hoteller og rådgivning om hvor længe vi ville være på de enkelte øer. Jeg må sige at ALT klappede helt efter planen hvad angår al transport - både til lands og til havs. De valgte hoteller på øerne viste sig at være "lige i øjet" og vi havde 12 skønne dage på de 2 øer samt 2 dage i Rayong. Nicklas var tilmed behjælpelig med at skaffe os gode pladser i flyet på vores hjemtur. Så stor tak til Nicklas og TopTours for en vellykket tur.

Kundepleje på et helt ny niveau

Netop hjemvendt fra en helt magisk rejse til Bangkok, Koh Chang, Koh Mak og Koh Kood. Vi er enormt glade for al den hjælp vi fik fra Nicklas H før og under vores tur. Destinationerne levede i den grad op til alt hvad vi havde drømt om. Alt klappede bare og vi blevet bragt fra sted til sted uden de mindste problemer. Kan kun anbefale Toptours og da især Nicklas, som med sin entusiasme og rare væsen var en fantastisk støtte gennem hele forløbet. Khob Khun!!!

Super perfekt ferie

THAILAND 2024, PUKET OG KHAO LAK

Det har været helt fantastisk og gennemført... det har levet fuld ud op til vores forventning og var alle pengene værd. Det er bestemt ikke sidste gang vi har været der. Hotel både i Puket og Khao Lak levede fuld ud op til forventningerne og var ren og pæn. Service var i top. Tak til Philip for at arrangere turen hvor alt bare spillede.

Godt og skidt

Tilbud på en ønsket rejseforlængelse blev glemt af Top Tours, og da jeg endelig modtog den, var tilbudet væsentlig dyrere for en kortere forlængelse end først anslået i telefonen. Sikkert på grund af meget kort tid til afrejsen. Så ingen forlængelse/badeferie til mig, øv,øv. Hotelstandarden var under det forventede. På det sidste hotel i Ho Chi Minh var situationen i morgenmadsrestauranten nærmest kaotisk. Flere gæster måtte stå ved en bardisk og spise, da der ikke var plads nok ved bordene. Men stor ros til rejselederen Bosse, som gav os en masse info om landet og iøvrigt en meget spændende tur i et spændende land.

Manglende Service undervejs

Vi havde en ok rejse til Thailand med Toptours - turen derud, hotel opholdet i Bangkok og afhentning og turen til Hua hin var helt perfekt. Men da vii kom til Pineapple Hills var der ikke styr på at vi skulle ankomme, selvom vi havde informeret TopTours om tidspunkter m.m. Opholdet var godt - dog lå Pineapple hills noget langt fra alting. Afhentningen var ikke speciel professionel og vi blev afhente for sent i en meget lille taxa, der ikke havde plads til vor bagage uden at en af kufferterne skulle stå på bagsædet sammen med en passager hele vejen til Bangkok. Vi vil nok overveje om vi vil bruge dem næste gang.

"Skræddersyet" Vietnamrejse

"Skræddersyet", men uden overholdelse af indgåede aftaler. Meddelt hotellet Golden Silk i Hanoi som deluxe værelse og i tillid hertil ikke behov for opgradering. Viste sig at være under standard. Nattog til Da Nang bestilt med frikøbt kupe´. Meddelt fra selskabet som softsleep, 2 bed. Måtte alligevel dele 4 personers med 2 andre på hårde madrasser. Svigt i aftaler om udflugter. Kan ikke anbefales skræddersyet og udenfor ordinære rejsetider

Value for money

Eventyrlige Vietnam var virkelig eventyrlig god. ALT vældig godt tilrettelagt, ingen spildtid, fin rejserute og super god guide. Der var mad inkluderet langt de fleste dage, og vel at mærke mange fine retter både til frokost og middag. Tror ikke man selv kan gøre det billigere, virkelig Value for money, og det bliver med garanti ikke nær så hyggeligt. Rejser meget gerne med Top Tours igen.

Varmeste anbefaling, til det bedste og meget kompetente rejse selvskab.

Vi vil gerne give Nicklas de varmeste anbefalinger, som er rejsespecialist hos toptours. Vi har rejst flere gange med toptours, og der er virkelig ikke en finger og sætte på noget som helst, priserne på rejerne er langt billigere end mange andre steder, og servicen er stadigvæk helt i top og upåklagelig. Nicklas har mødt os med kæmpe forståelse omkring vores ferie ønsker, kommet med gode og brugbare råd, og ikke mindst fremragende humør og altid tålmodighed igennem telefonen, som gør man kan tage betænkningstid omkring ferie målet, og ikke føler sig presset til noget. Vi vil til enhver tid bruge toptours igen, og især Nicklas som er fantastisk at have med sig på sidelinjen og som altid er meget behjælpelig! Man kan tydeligt hører Nicklas har en masse erfaring indenfor mange rejsemål, og han deler glædeligt ud af egne erfaringer både gode og dårlige, det er fantastisk rådgivning når man skal booke en rejse. Vi vil klart bruge Nicklas fremadrettet, og vil til enhver tid anbefale ham.

Top Tours? Ja tak

Netop hjemkommet efter 3 ugers rejse i Malaysia og Dubai - og sikke en tur! Vi blev hjulpet rigtig godt på vej af Idas forskellige forslag, som var et super supplement til vore egne ideer (især forslag om opgradering til deluxe værelse på hotel i Kuala Lumpur (= den flotteste udsigt) var skønt). Vi blev hentet i alle lufthavne og transporteret fra sted til sted, og uden undtagelse mødte chaufførerne op til tiden og der var check på det hele. Da vi et par uger før afrejse ændrede planer, blev det ændret uden problemer, og stadig klappede det hele. En helt igennem kæmpe fornøjelse til yderst rimelige penge!!

Netop kommet hjem fra Thailand 2 døgn før tid og alt har fungeret perfekt incl kontakten til Top Tours. Ligeledes skal kontakten til Krabi Specialisten have stor ros. Vi oprettede WhatsApp og var derefter i tæt dialog. Oprettelse af WhatsApp er en anbefaling værdi TopTours får vores bedste anbefalinger. Birgitte

I oktober måned var vi på familieferie…

I oktober måned var vi på familieferie til Thailand. Vi var på 3 forskellige destinationer Bangkok-River Kwai og Hua Hin. Vi boede på 3 dejlige hoteller. Alle med en fantastisk beliggenhed og service. Alt var vel tilrettelagt, ingen problemer nogen steder. Stor tak for at arrangere en uforglemmelig tur. Også tak til Toptours Thailand, for at have styr på alt transport mellem destinationerne, ikke en eneste gang ventede vi forgæves på en taxi. Vi har ingen bekymringer med evt. at bestille rejser hos Toptours fremover. mvh John Henriksen

TopTours får 5 stjerner af os

I januar måned bestilte vi en rejse til Bali (12 personer). Flere gode forslag til planlægningen, gjorde at valget endte her. Hele tiden meget konkrete og rigtig god kundeservice. Ikke mindst da Corona´en viste sig. Vi kontaktede TopTours vedr rejsen og de var meget professionelle og meget tydelige i hvad reglerne var omkring evt. aflysning fra os og dem. 1½ time efter Mette Frederiksens udmelding om at de frarådede alt udrejse (dengang) fik vi mail fra TopTours om at vores rejse var annulleret og at vi ville få vores penge retur. Dem fik vi allerede i starten af juni måned. Ingen tvivl om at vi vil vælge TopTours igen!

When it comes to an itinerary, Travel + Leisure readers want more than a string of photo opportunities — and the right tour operator makes all the difference in creating a trip of a lifetime versus one that simply checks off a list of sights. This year, our readers were especially drawn to companies that utilize local expertise and experience to thoughtfully design trips that will entertain as well as inspire.

Every year for our World's Best Awards survey , T+L asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe — to share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Readers rated tour operators and safari outfitters based on their staff and guides, itineraries and destinations, activities, accommodations, food, and overall value.

The top picks were noted for their deep knowledge of destinations and guides who "go the extra mile." One reader who has been traveling for more than five decades said a trip with Classic Journeys (No. 2) was the "very best" they had experienced. Others noted attention to pandemic safety details, while one who went to Norway was charmed by a "wonderful surprise dinner in Bergen out on the water that was fantastic."

Tour operators that seamlessly navigated the logistics of a trip also came out on top. Quasar Expeditions (No. 9) was noted "for really planning out every detail" so that "all you have to do is show up and have a great time." Meanwhile, of TCS World Travel (No. 10), a guest said: "You never lift a finger and just spend your time actually exploring the destination." They even added that they "learned so much" along the way.

Among the five companies on this year's list that weren't on last year's were two women-only tour operators that cater to travelers of all ages. AdventureWomen (No. 14) has multiday tours designed by women from Bhutan to Yellowstone National Park, while Explorer Chick (No. 15) has everything from day trips — like glassblowing in Baltimore and cave rappelling in St. Louis — to full itineraries in Machu Picchu and the Galápagos. One reader said her Everest Base Camp trip with AdventureWomen was filled with "like-minded women" who "bonded so well," while another said she felt it was a "safe tour group for women."

No matter which tour they chose, readers were most taken by the people they met along the way, as one said of Trek Travel (No. 13): "By the end of the trip, a group of strangers felt like longtime friends." Find out which other companies round out the list of the best tour operators below.

1. DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co.

A tour with DuVine goes far beyond just riding a bike — it's a way to really see the character of a destination. Case in point: even those who say they're not necessarily cycling fans have been converted. That's part of what helped the tour operator — which runs trips in Europe, the U.S., Latin America, and Africa — skyrocket from No. 14 last year to this year's top spot. Its "top-notch biking equipment" and "challenging but doable itineraries" didn't hurt either. One reader was especially taken by a guide picking figs off of a local tree in Puglia for an extra energy boost during a tough climb, as well as another guide singing to the group after dinner. As another reader put it simply: "They exceed your expectations."

Maroon 5's Las Vegas residency kicks off this month, and tickets are going fast as the band's concert dates fill up. In addition to securing passes for their festival appearances this year, we've broken down how to buy Maroon 5 tickets for their concert tour below.

Originally formed in 1994, Maroon 5 is celebrating 30 years together as they kick off their Las Vegas residency at the Dolby Live at Park MGM. The new tour, referred to in shorthand as "M5LV: The Las Vegas Residency," is an extension of their 16-show residency last year. After their run in Las Vegas last year proved to be a huge hit, the group led by Adam Levine is back for another 16 shows at the Dolby Live theater this year.

Maroon 5's residency begins on May 17, and will feature performances in May, June, September, and October. The Dolby Live theater isn't the only location that Maroon 5 is performing at this year; the pop rock band is set to make festival appearances and headline other venues around North America throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Maroon 5 has 16 concert dates lined up for their Las Vegas residency in 2024. Their shows at the Dolby Live begin on May 17 before the band takes their final bow of the tour on October 12. Additionally, Maroon 5 has nine concerts scheduled for their 2024 tour in various cities around the country.

On StubHub, the least expensive tickets for Maroon 5 range from $28 for the group's Holmdel, New Jersey show on June 29 to $116 for their Springfield, Massachusetts concert on July 1. Maroon 5 doesn't have any opening acts for their Las Vegas residency concert dates. But, the band will be joined by Maren Morris for their non-festival touring dates outside Las Vegas in 2024.

Maroon 5 hasn't announced an international leg for their 2024 tour. However, the band has two shows already confirmed for Canada in 2024: June 25 in Toronto, Ontario and July 7 in Ottawa, Ontario.

I’m always on the lookout for fun day trips from San Jose that can satisfy my wanderlust.

As a tech geek, one of my favorite destinations is Silicon Valley. 

The place oozes innovation.

History is made every week on the PGA TOUR. For many, a victory contributes to defining a career. However, for all 132 in the field at this week’s Myrtle Beach Classic, careers will include participating in the first-ever PGA TOUR stop in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Given its familiar role as a destination for recreational golfers and among the capitals of the golf world, that’s hard to believe.

The famed Dunes Golf and Beach Club is poised to host. How it will test, what’s up for grabs and more is detailed in the rankings below along with others to consider.

OTHERS TO CONSIDER

• Andrew Novak … No, he’s not treated to paspalum grass this week, but the 29-year-old has proven this year that he’s not a one-trick pony. Since a T8 at the WM Phoenix Open (on Bermudagrass), he’s 8-for-9 with three top 10s and another pair of top 25s. He’s 20th on the PGA TOUR in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and T28 in proximity to the hole.
• Chris Gotterup … While a hoot for many who partake, because of its team format, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans can be ignored when reviewing the prospects of participants in it when they return to individual competition. However, what shouldn’t be dismissed is the impact a positive performance can have for a guy who was scuffling upon arrival in the bayou. This is the angle for the 24-year-old first-time member of the PGA TOUR. After teaming with Austin Eckroat for a T11 at TPC Louisiana, Gotterup put four rounds together at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson and registered a season-best T24 on his own ball. He can throttle back off the tee at Dunes Club and ride the momentum.
• Ben Griffin … Extending the premise for Gotterup, Griffin is the case in point as it concerns missing the cut at the Zurich Classic. He landed in NOLA with a pair of top 20s bookending a 4-for-4 run. After the short week, he resumed his ascent with a T13 at TPC Craig Ranch. It’s the kind of mojo he wants to retain in advance of next week’s second appearance in the PGA Championship.
• Davis Thompson … The former star at the University of Georgia has been one of the quietest among the steady performers of the last nine months. The relative silence exists only because has hasn’t cracked a top 10 since January of 2023, but he’s logged nine top 25s in his last 19 starts, including in half of his last dozen. It’s a familiar trajectory for a talent of his pedigree in a sophomore season. He’s also one of the most balanced, so he’s as close to the centerline of the learning curve as it gets right now.

While victories in Additional Events don’t yield automatic exemptions into Signature Events, the 300 FedExCup points credited can lift winners into consideration for the Aon Next 10. First case, the winner at Myrtle Beach will join the field at next week’s PGA Championship if not already exempt. As of midday Tuesday, 14 in the field in Myrtle Beach will be getting tee times at Valhalla Golf Club. This week’s champion also will join the fields of the 2025 editions of The Sentry and THE PLAYERS Championship. His PGA TOUR membership exemption in the winners category will extend through 2026.

Commonly referred to simply as Dunes Club, the Robert Trent Jones design isn’t actually new to PGA TOUR-sanctioned competition. What’s now known as the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship on the PGA TOUR Champions was contested here from 1995-99. Back then, it played as a par 72 and shorter than 7,000 yards.

This week, Dunes Golf and Beach Club presents as a par 71 at 7,347 yards. Jones’ son, Rees, went to work in upgrading and strengthening the course in the last quarter-century in part so that it could stand up as a consistently strong test for PGA TOUR-caliber talent. Non-overseeded Champion Bermudagrass greens have been enlarged to 6,000 square feet and ready to push 12 feet on the Stimpmeter. But while tournaments almost always conclude with a putt, efficiency from tee to green is expected to characterize the inaugural champion.

Not unlike Harbour Town Golf Links down the coast on Hilton Head Island, host of the RBC Heritage three weeks ago, positioning the ball off the tee at Dunes Club is more important than distance. While the only rough is two inches high, fairways are not wide on average. And although the targets at Dunes Club are 6,000 square feet on average are considerably larger than at Harbour Town, because the putting surfaces are unfamiliar, ball-strikers will feast. This is a reliable phenomenon when a course is making its debut.

The same threat for inclement weather that exists at Quail Hollow Club 150 miles to the northwest characterizes the forecast at Myrtle Beach through Friday. Similarly, the weekend is stacked up to be absolutely gorgeous with daytime high in the 70s. Because exposure to the sea increases the feel of the wind, which will be moderate at times, the need to control ball flight is further enhanced. Sharp form upon arrival will be rewarded.
