Com este tour, você poderá conhecer a história de Curitiba através da sua gastronomia . Uma experiência sensorial completa por meio dos aromas e sabores das culturas que se fixaram na cidade!

Passaremos para buscá-lo a partir das 12:30 horas no seu hotel de Curitiba, para começar um passeio pela rica história dos imigrantes que se fixaram na cidade ao longo dos anos. Preparado para degustar os sabores e sentir os aromas da cidade? 

Durante o nosso passeio, visitaremos quatro restaurantes onde poderemos, por meio da sua comida típica, conhecer a gastronomia dos países de origem dos imigrantes de Curitiba . 

A primeira parada do tour será no famoso Largo da Ordem , no centro histórico de Curitiba . Lá, provaremos uma entrada árabe , uma das etnias que mais influenciaram o comércio curitibano.

Depois, continuaremos caminhando pelo Largo até chegar a um restaurante tradicional alemão , onde almoçaremos e conheceremos um pouco mais da cultura desse povo tão alegre, que também tem uma forte influência no estado, pois a sua história, costumes e cultura estão muito conectadas à alemã. 

Após o almoço, aprenderemos um pouco mais sobre o café, a bebida mais popular do mundo que teve uma grande importância na economia paranaense. E para finalizar, degustaremos um doce típico polonês  e visitaremos o Bosque do Papa, um dos mais importantes de Curitiba que abriga uma reserva com mais de 300 araucárias e onde também está localizado o Memorial da Imigração Polonesa .

I visited the restaurant to celebrate with my wife and it was a wonderful night. The food and services were amazing. The restaurant doesn't have a wine menu, but there is an exclusive sommelier to help you choose the best wine option for your dinner... in a store inside the restaurant. I really recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a tasting experience in an elegant place. More

Very nice place first time. I recommend a quick cocktail i at the bar before being seated. Bartender made a nice martini Food was very nice service and ambience as well. I thought surprisingly limited and overpriced the wine selection. Paid a pretty penny for... a good wine but wasnt blown away. Next time i will bring my own. But i definately will be back More

This is a nice quiet sophisticated find in a small town. If you want fine dining and wine with clients or a date, this is the place to go. There is standard inside seating as well as a covered garden. The food is very nice... and presented perfectly. More

This is a restaurant combined with a wine shop with a great variety. Tha atmosphere is pleasant and the waiter attending was a professional. The food was very good with no negative comments. Good for a romantic evening

The environment is very very nice. There are interesting options in menu and plates are tasty and sophisticated prices are fair. I ate couvert and meat with gnocchi both were delicious!

Went there for dinner with small group of colleagues. Very nice atmosphere and good service, as well as very nice wine selection (major caveat: I'm not a wine connoisseur). I had the garoupa em crosta which was excellent.

One of the best restaurants in Curitiba with wines perfectly selected to match the current menu. The best tip here is to place yourself entirely in the hands of the expert waiters and you will not regret it. The fish is excellent.

The place is beautiful and the food is even better! You can order a risotto if you don't wanna spend much, it is a cheap option, but they have much more! Please don't leave this place without drinking at least a glass of wine...

This is a fine place in the elegant neighborood. You have classic tables, wonderful those near the large windows, but you can also dine in the high tables near the wine cellar. Cause here you pick your own bottle of wine from the shop that... is inside the restaurant. Wide choice and time to pick what you prefer. I ate here 3 times and these are my favourite dishes: Peixe do Dia. Acompanha risoto de aspargos e molho de limão siciliano. Fish and rice, a perfect combination in one plate. Risoto de Camarão. Camarões rosa salteado, risoto com tomates frescos e manjericão, compota de limão siciliano. And the truly outstanding Melba. Compota de morango ao vinho do porto, sorbet de caipirinha com cachaça de Morretes e hortelã, Arlete crocante. Price around 40 euros, depending on the wine, that in Brazil makes a lot of difference. This is a top restaurant. We were so impressed on our first visit, that we came a second time and were fully confirmed in our assessment: The kitchen staff is doing a fantastic job. However, this is not a brasserie, as the name may suggest,... but an upscale restaurant focused on (top) wines. The prices are in accordance with this positioning, although absolutely reasonable. If you are a fan of colonial breakfast, Panificadora Brioche is a great option for you and there you will find over 30 types of breads: buttery, Australian, Galician and even Coffee & Chocolate Bread. Along with the cold, salty, pies and sweets, there are more than 50 fresh products to try and delight. The bakery opens at 7am and closes at 9pm.

Café do Viajante (something like Traveller’s Cafe) is a place that unites two great passions: travel and coffee. Every detail there has been thought to promote an unique experience.

There are many delights in the menu, excellent coffees, and impeccable decoration, and that is why this place has to be part of you itinerary.

LMTM Tip: Whenever you go there, try the Brazilian milk latte with Nutella ( Ninho Latte com Nutella ). It is amazing!

Café do Viajante opens from Tuesday to Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm and on weekends from 2 pm to 8 pm.

#4 Degusto Café

There are no excuses for missing Degusto Café in Curitiba! Super well located in a central neighborhood city called Batel and with an incredible facade, Degusto invites you in and you will not regret accepting it.

Degusto Café has an interesting menu, with options that go well at any time of the day.

The Cafe has a vintage feel that is very reminiscent of US cafes.

The Cafe opens from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm and on Sundays it opens from 3 pm to 8:30 pm.

#5 Confeitaria Curitibana 

Confeitaria Curitibana is an amazing place located on the 38th floor in Bigorrilho.

The confectionery offers a panoramic view of the city (great place to visit at sunset) and the menu honors different ethnicities or allude to touristic sights of Curitiba.

They are open from 12 pm to 8 pm from Monday to Saturday.

#6 Lucca Cafés Especiais (Specialty Coffee )

For coffee lovers, Lucca Cafés Especiais is a full plate. Lucca has a collection of selected microlots of coffee, and has been awarded several times and is considered by many to be the best in Brazil.

Lucca Café opens everyday from 7h30 am to 8 pm and from 8 am to 8 pm on the weekends.

#7 quintana gastronomia.

From the restaurants I’ve been in Curitiba, Quintana Gastronomia was my favorite.

Each day the restaurant brings a different menu based on cultures and places around the world.

Besides that, Quintana Gastronomia is a place that promotes sustainability through different aspects, for example, supporting the local economy, composting organic waste, cultivating native bee hives and encouraging the end of food waste.

Did you notice why I loved this place? Besides the extremely tasty food they also have that concern with the environment that we love so much beyond the appreciation of various cultures. I will be back for sure.

#8 Central do Abacaxi 

Central do Abacaxi is a super special place that works the concept of slow food bringing an inspiring idea to Curitiba.

The restaurant is housed in a rustic and welcoming home that seeks to maintain the essence of artisanal food made with organic ingredients and small producers.

Central do Abacaxi opens from Thursday to Sunday from 12 pm to 7 pm.

#9 Ópera Arte Restaurant

Depending on the time you visit the famous Wire Opera House, it is worth staying for lunch at the Ópera Arte restaurant.

The restaurant is underground to the Opera House and promotes an unique experience amidst local nature.

It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm and lunch is served from 11 am to 4 pm.

#10 Sel Et Sucre Gastronomia

Sel Et Sucre is a restaurant that unites the best of contemporary French, Italian and Brazilian cuisine, and is considered one of the best restaurants in Curitiba.

Tip LMTM: As an entree worth a trying the Shrimp Vol-Au-Vent, Shrimp Ravioli with Leek Garlic as a main course, and for dessert I really enjoyed the Brûllée Trio.

The restaurant is open for lunch from Tuesday to Friday from 12 pm to 3 pm, and on weekends it is open until 4 pm.

Average price for Entree + Main Course + Dessert is R$89.

#11 Madalosso Restaurant

Located in the Santa Felicidade neighborhood, Madalosso Restaurant is one of the most traditional in the region. Italian food is offered as “rodízio” (all you can eat) for approximately R$60 per person.

The restaurant is open daily, for lunch (11h30 am to 3h30 pm) and dinner (7pm-11pm).

#12 Churrascaria Batel Grill

Batel Grill is a barbecue place located in Batel Neighborhood and they already received several awards for excellence, including Veja Comer & Beber Curitiba in 2019.

The price on Batel Grill is R$ 100 per person (all you can eat).

They open for lunch (11:30 am to 2:45 pm), dinner (6:45 pm-11 pm) and on Sundays they work from 11:30 am to 4 pm.

#13 Largo da Ordem Fair

On Sundays, there is the Largo da Ordem Fair, which attracts hundreds of visitors and has several stalls of varied foods.

In the fair, there are several stalls with handmade products, as well as art, music and street theater.

The fair takes place from 9 am to 2 pm in the historical sector, in Largo da Ordem Square.

#14 Terraza 40

With a panoramic view, dishes representing different regions of the world and a wine list with more than 350 options from 15 countries, Terraza 40 is a perfect tourism and gastronomy experience in Curitiba.

The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12 noon to 4 pm for lunch, and every day for dinner from 7 pm to 11 pm.

#15 taj bar.

With influences from diverse cultures, the sophisticated and often award-winning Taj Bar brings a contemporary menu with a touch of Indo-Asian cuisine.

And the cool thing is that the house promotes different nights every day of the week and brings a different concept to drinks: the Taj Pharmacy.

The Bar is open Monday to Saturday from 5:30 pm to 2 am and Sundays from 6 pm to 8 pm.

#16 Bar do Alemão 

Would you like to know where to eat “Carne de Onça” in Curitiba ? Bar do Alemão is a traditional bar in the city where you can find typical German dishes such as “Eisbein” (pork knuckle) and “Carne de Onça” “, a dish made with grounded meat seasoned with salt, black pepper and nutmeg. Be sure to drink “submarino” too.

A Caiçara is a restaurant dedicated to caiçara cuisine, which uses fresh coastal food in dishes that appeal to all styles.

Hello bar lovers, you will really enjoy this experience! The Boteco Tour is a guided tour on the best bars in Curitiba and promotes interaction between the participants.

The Curitiba Municipal Market was founded in 1958 and attracts many residents and visitors of Curitiba. In the market there are several stalls with spices, cheese, fruits, vegetables and lots of crafts.

Definitely is a great place to visit, shopping and also to grab a nice meal in one of the market restaurants.
