I needed to change my ticket date for some unforeseen circumstances , so I called travel trolley and my call was answered by a very nice mannered, polite and very helpful man called Spencer. Very disappointed with the service

Very disappointed with the service. I booked flight tickets for my in-laws for August 2024. When I called them today to cancel, they said the cancellation fee is £225 per person....!!!😡😡😡 I heard that this is only £60 - 75 per person if cancelled before 60 days. The admin staff were very rude. This includes Mr Rahul and a female staff. Can't remember her name. I'm very disappointed with the way they treated me. Absolutely shocking.

They just dont like paying you back!!!

Booked a ticket for my grandma who could no longer travel. Requested Travel trolley to cancel the ticket well in advance and agreed to the cancellation charges (which in itself are ridiculous). Despite numerous Email and phone calls I have still not received the refund. Most likely due to incompetency than anything. If you do decide to help then my invoice number is 4942403. Edit: they refunded me Eventually. It needed my confirmation which I already gave twice on email but I guess they may have missed it. All's well that ends well.

Absolutely appalling service.

Absolutely appalling service. I bought a ticket from them,and they abbreviated my name. So i called them and was told by their call handler. It would cost me £30/£40 to change the name on the ticket. Was also told too send over my passport copy, which i done. Was then told by another agent, a few days later the airline would not allow a name change. I contacted the airline direct and was told a name change is possible, and referred me back to the agents. Who once again refused the name change! After best part of three weeks, and numerous calls to the airline who i hasten too add were extremely helpful, i finally managed too have the change required via the airline. The agents were the whole time refusing to help. So for a fee of £79 the airline made the changes for me. But still the agents refused to issue a amended ticket. The airline contacted myself and said they will issue the ticket for a fee of £24 which i was happy to pay. The ticket was issued within 30 minutes. The agents called me later that day, and said it will cost me a further £112 to issue a amended ticket. I told them i already have a ticket issued by the airline. Here is the crunch line.....The agent said that is not possible. I told them i have the ticket in front of me. Too which i added i would never use there company ever again. They are clearly deceitful individuals who are absolutely cashing in and telling lies to customers. And also so unhelpful, it does not bare thinking about. Avoid this company like the plague, please take this as advise.

Poor customer should be their real name

Rip off should be their real name. This company sells you a cheap ticket with horrible schedules or with crappy flight I:e short connections etc. When you find out they charge extra. So basically lack of professionalism with intention to rip you off.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking Advertised flights that they didn’t even have took my money, sent an email saying that they will send the money back within 72 hours and have taken the money out again. 1200 odd taken from me for flight they didn’t even have and still haven’t received my money back. Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague! They are VERY incompetent and unprofessional. I had asked this company to change the name on a ticket three or four times via calls and emails and they had failed to do it. My first request was many months in advance of the flight so they had ample time to correct the error. I found out that they didn't change the name on the ticket on the day of the flight, which caused severe stress to me and my family. When I called them they had the nerve to blame it on me and that I was "incompetent" and "careless" to not check if they had in fact changed it. They refused to change the name on the day and the airline couldn't do anything about it because of the number of letters I wanted changing exceeded their limit/ability. I was stuck on the phone with them for hours and they still refused to change the name. I ended up spending £1000 to buy another ticket. Please avoid them. Use another travel company instead.

Terrible service

Terrible service Took money Then paid again Now trying to get refund Disgusting behaviour I will never use these scammers Tell everyone not to bother You will be disappointed I have contacted yourselves many times But found everyone unhelpful. Does not advertise the real price!

Travel trolley does not advertise the real price! I used Google's flight aggregation service to search for the best flight options and it suggested a travel trolley flight for about 10% less than the next best option. After booking, they tried to call me multiple times and then they emailed me asking me to call them and saying that my tickets had not yet been issued. When I spoke to someone on the phone, he wouldn't tell me why I needed to call them until I had given him about 5 minutes worth of details, then finally said that the price had not yet been secured even though I'd paid online, and the tickets could not be secured at the price promised! Turns out it said in the small print that the tickets would be secured within 48 hours of payment and that the price would not be secured until then. It looks like they only bother to actually book your tickets with the airline after you've already paid them, so there's no real way to properly price compare and you'll probably end up paying what you would direct with the airline anyway. They did at least refund without quibble as soon as I told them that I would not pay any more for these flights with them.

Glad I used them

I used google flights to find a flight and one of the options was to get it through Travel Trolley as it was the most cheapest option. I’d seen the company a few times but never used them so was a bit hesitant. However it was quite an easy process and they managed to book my flight with the airline which I confirmed on the airlines website a couple of days later. So very happy with the service and I’d definitely use them again and recommend.

Cancelled booking for no reason

Made a booking and it was cancelled for no reason. All prices ended up going higher so I had to pay more for my flight. Customer service was helpful so not blaming them, but really bad from the company to advertise tickets and then tell you they are not available. Really, really unacceptable.

Customer service bots are useless.

Their customer service is using bots to reply to messages, in a completely incomprehensible way. I booked with British Airways. Most of the trip has now been shared with Iberia. I tried to find out whether to use the BA app or the Iberia app for boarding passes, fairly reasonable question? The email reply was just AI bot rubbish.

Difficult experience at the airport turned around by great customer service

Firstly I booked with Traveltrolley due to their low fares. Secondly the purpose of this feedback is due to the fantastic help and support provided by Danny. Without going technical, we had some issues affecting our tickets. As a result it meant we had to change 2 out of 5 tickets. (If you have a visa on a old passport, just take them with you!l After explaining our difficult circumstances, Danny made sure he listened, understood, was knowledgeable, attentive, quick, efficient, caring, and most importantly put us first, amazing customer service! It's really hard to find colleagues that care, and show that much enthusiasm. Danny certainly went above and beyond his normal duties. I did not want these efforts to go unnoticed. This meant less stress, and what more could you ask for. Once again, thank you Danny for your help and support. The rest of the team Rita, and Spencer, apologies if i have missed any of you out, all of you play an equal role in this feedback. Good to know you have human on the other line, not a robot. Quick and Affordable

OK so this books the tickets for you

OK so this site books the tickets for you, so there is a period after paying where you hold your breath until you get the booking confirmation. For me that was less than 24 hours. The saving was significant - £480 for a Gulf Air flight from Manchester - Bangkok with a stopover in Bahrain. Total time was 14 hours. The next cheapest flights available were over £500 and 24 hours travel time. The flight I got from Travel Trolley if booked directly with Gulf air was almost £800. The huge benefit of getting the Gulf Air flight was getting the check in baggage allowance. Ironically my bag didn't arrive due to a screw up in Manchester. Regardless, I made a big saving here. Can't vouch for how they'd do when things go wrong, but with that saving I'd say it's worth a shot and look elsewhere if you don't get a confirmation after 48 hours.

They tried to rip me off. When I received my ticket confirmation I noticed I was a Ms instead of Mr.

They offered to change it for £30. I wanted to seek advice and next day I contacted them to pay the £30 (for peace of mind). Surprise surprise, the cost of change had jumped to £80.

I contacted Thai Airways directly and was told the wrong title didn't necessitate a change. They added a note to that effect to the ticket FREE OF CHARGE.

Quite simply because it was cheaper with the agency. Lesson learned. Thai Airways were excellent at sorting it. I'll be booking directly with them in future.

I expect that Travel Trolley were very keen to charge you as that is where they will make their money.

If Virgin Atlantic that is correct that the airline does not allow passenger changes

If Virgin Australia it will depend on the ticket type

There is a difference between taxes and fees and refundable taxes and fees, if you name the route then you should be able to work out the refundable taxes

Interesting reading

First off, I have tried to be careful when booking online and make sure that I have all the correct information and check that I have the flight times I want. I usually use Skyscanner to find good priced tickets and have seen other companies that promise a price only to find that when you are redirected to the actual booking agent there is quite a price jump. That was not the experience I had with Traveltrolley. Although the price may have been a few pounds different they pretty much delivered the price quoted.

As others have said. They do send you an email confirming the booking and they usually send the ticket confirmation by the next day.

I have not had to contact them with any issues so the usual comment can be made..... You don'tknow how good they are until there is a problem.

Back to the comments about using agents. I usually check direct booking and find that the agents can often save me as much as about £100 per ticket. That's got to be worth looking into.

One thing I will say is I tend to book the tickets about 6 months before the flight as this is often the best price time.

absolutely disgusting business practices... will never use them again and will continue to spread the word about our horrible experience.

Also.. they have an oddly high number of 5 star reviews on google... most of them all Indian people reviewing, and their call centre is Indian... so this seems highly suspicious. I would not trust the 5 star reviews and perhaps read more into the 1-3 star reviews if you want honest and upfront experiences....

Yes I do believe some will match "legitimate" prices obtained elsewhere, I've never had to put it to the test but the question then arises as to what is "legitimate" ???

I paid for a ticket to Australia £968 on my credit card, money was taken straight away.

Then quoted a price some £400 more.

I declined their offer.

I'm still waiting 2 weeks later for my refund despite 3 phone calls.

I have now been told I will have to wait 3-4 weeks.

I have contacted my credit card company to try and extract the money from them.

My advice is to avoid this company

Well after reading here I was crapping myself. Booked last night for a trip to Oz. Didn't save a fortune but skyscanner has always done me well in the past.

Got an e-mail straight away yesterday but it stated

"Your reservation will be ticketed within the next 24 hours and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.Please check your emails

over the next 24 hours to find this confirmation email. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, let us know via email immediately.

Note: PRICES ARE NOT GUARANTEED UNTIL TICKETS HAVE BEEN ISSUED!"

So after 24 hours I was about to cancel my card!

I called them and they re-sent (yeah right!) the e-ticket information.

The itinerary appears to check out with emirates..... money not left my bank yet.

I'd say it's a risk, their call centre is certainly in the sub continent, but the call was answered efficiently at least.

Would I do it again, probably not unless it was very cheap.

They came up as the cheapest option by far via SkyScanner - so I googled to see any reviews as not heard of before.

Saw mention of Southall Travel who I have booked with in the past with no issues so thought I would give it a go.

Made payment and e-ticket arrived 7 hours later - no problems or issues whatsoever just a considerable saving compared to elsewhere (even with booking via Southall Travel ! )

Yes and a very very bad company to deal with ... my 19 year old son booked two tickets to New Zealand with this company for £1164. on Friday, the next day they informed him that this would now being going up by £200.00. I looked at the email and saw the very alarming statement that ticket prices were not guaranteed ! This set alarm bells ringing, and I advised him to cancel. He tried to cancel his ticket but the company with the inevitable call centre in India were hopeless, rude, evasive, incompetent and came up with all sorts of excuses as to why he could not talk to a supervisor, computer system new blah blah, they said they would call back which of course they didn't, in the meantime although at the point of talking to them they had not taken the money from his bank - and I suggested that he call his bank to stop this payment whilst his cancellation was sorted (?) the payment was taken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS RUNNING A SCAM. STAY CLEAR OF THEM.. They make look cheaper but by the time the etickets are issued the price goes up, my son and his girlfriend are now £400 worse off!!!!!!!

These guys completed f'd up my booking. Do not use them. I spent loads of time and money on over 10 phone calls to them trying to sort it out ... but could not be sorted. They are retarded

Hello there!

I thought this was very strange and called them immediately as I haven´t received any tickets. The guy on the phone tried to pursuade me not to worry as the chances this could happened would be 1%. I was going to receive an actual booking confirmation with my tickets withing the next 24 hours. I told him this should not even be the case as I paid for a service and I should therefore receive a confirmation immediately.

He repeatedly answered the same. It got me kind of mad so we started arguing a bit and in the end he told me he would make sure my booking would be going through within the next 2-3 hours.

Nothing happened by that time. I called again.

The woman this time tells me that there has been an email sent to me with the tickets attached. I told her that wasn´t the case and if she could resend it. While this was happening I was reading through all the comments online and started to panik a bit... Someone else on here said he experienced the same.. She basically sent me the tickets after I called..

Still not feeling relieved I went on the homepage of Quatar Airways and with the reservation code could see that there was actually a booking made. I could then chose the seats and meals and what not and print that page with confirmed timetables.

I just wanted to say it went well for me in the end, I guess, but this is not really a common procedure when you buy a flight . I would not want to do this again and I will not use their service in the future. It just doesn´t seem to be right, even if it works in some cases. You are not being told about the risk of changing prices and so on before you actually go through payment. Thats not OK!

On return Journey

On return journey, I did online checkin and I was at the airport before 90min. I was not allowed to check in stating that I am late. I had to reschedule the flight paying more than the original price and also fee for no show. I was very disappointed by the service. I will not choose Gulf Air next time.

Avoid. They will cancel your booking without reason

Booked a flight to Munich. All payment was accepted and then they cancelled without giving any reason. Checked for new flights and the prices went up a LOT which is probably why they cancelled (wanted to rake in higher rates as opposed to what I got the flight for). Wrote to them several times, no reply and they just ignored comms. Avoid this company

Excellent experience with Travel Trolley

I have been using Travel Trolley for a number of years now. Not only this is one (if not the only) of the best platforms to buy a decently priced ticket, but they have a very good customer service. With this company, unlike with some others, offering you a good price for a flight, you can always be sure that the offered price is the real one. I had a sad experience trying to buy a flight from different companies, which, after the sale, start calling you and telling that the advertised price is no longer available and trying to force you to buy at a much higher price, which is really annoying, because when you tell them that you don't want to buy at a higher price, they start bullying you threatening with cancellation fees etc. That never happens with Travel Trolley - you go online, you see their price, you buy a flight at that price and you never have a problem. Therefore I am going to use this company without hesitation in the future.
