University of Central Florida (UCF) Transfers: 2024 Requirements, Dates, GPAs & More

How effective are university of central florida (ucf) virtual tours.

It depends how you use them. University of Central Florida (UCF) is a hustling, bustling campus and community. The beauty of University of Central Florida (UCF) virtual tours on CampusReel is that authentic video tours, made by real students, can be spectacular at capturing the University of Central Florida (UCF) vibe. We also go well beyond the confines of the University of Central Florida (UCF) campus by taking you around Orlando. In traditional virtual tours, you will mostly see still, unengaging images and will not see the surrounding area at all – which is why CampusReel virtual tours are so important.

Can a University of Central Florida (UCF) virtual tour replace a traditional in-person visit?

If you cannot visit University of Central Florida (UCF) in person, then we can honestly say that we believe a CampusReel virtual tour of University of Central Florida (UCF) is absolutely the most effective and holistic way to understand the University of Central Florida (UCF) people, campus and community. However, if you do plan on visiting University of Central Florida (UCF) and other colleges in person, we strongly recommend that you at least prescreen your college options on CampusReel before spending the time and money to visit. Most prospective families find that as soon as the step on campus, they instantly know whether or not they like the school – but they’ve already spent all that time and money getting there! Our goal is to eliminate all the time and money visiting University of Central Florida (UCF) in person until you can make a strong educated guess that it’s worth the investment.

What places can I virtually tour at University of Central Florida (UCF)?

For your convenience, below is a list of University of Central Florida (UCF) places you can virtually tour on CampusReel.

What are the downsides of a University of Central Florida (UCF) virtual tour?

The downside of virtually touring University of Central Florida (UCF) on CampusReel is that, admittedly, our technology does not yet mimic the exact feeling and experience of visiting University of Central Florida (UCF) in person. We are working on this though! A common request we also receive from users is to add more perspectives (e.g. student guides) to the platform. Rest assured we are working on adding more CampusReel guides to the University of Central Florida (UCF) virtual tour. However, our selection of guides still far outweighs the available perspectives of traditional virtual tour platforms.

What are the benefits of a University of Central Florida (UCF) virtual tour?

The most obvious benefit of a University of Central Florida (UCF) virtual tour on CampusReel is that is can be accessed from anywhere. This can save families a lot of time and money compared to visiting University of Central Florida (UCF) in person . Another often overlooked benefit of a CampusReel virtual tour is that it goes far beyond a traditional in person tour University of Central Florida (UCF) . Campus visits are limited both in time and scope – how are you expected to truly understand a college in a 1 hour tour? That’s why we stress the added benefit of CampusReel virtual tours – experience University of Central Florida (UCF) and Orlando during different seasons, days of the week, and even hours of the day. What’s game day like? What is finals week life? Again, traditional virtual touring platforms don’t include this benefit.

UCF trustee among those busted in prostitution sting at Seminole parks

3 men face charges in undercover operation at liberty and sandlando parks.

Anthony Talcott , Digital Journalist

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A prostitution sting ended with the arrests of three men — including a Board of Trustees member at the University of Central Florida and an employee with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, according to investigators.

In several arrest reports, deputies said they performed an undercover operation at two Seminole County parks on Thursday: Liberty Park in Lake Mary and Sandlando Park in Altamonte Springs.

Recommended Videos

“This operation was about repeated issues regarding people exposing their sexual organs and conducting lewd and indecent acts at the park,” one report reads.

Using the application “Sniffies” — defined as a “map-based hookup web app for gay, bisexual and bicurious men” — undercover agents messaged suspects who agreed to show up to the parks for sexual favors, the reports show.

The suspects arrested during this operation were as follows:

  • Harold Mills, 53 — Arrested at Sandlando Park in Altamonte Springs
  • Jairo Areis, 39 — Arrested at Liberty Park in Lake Mary
  • Leroy Green, 35 — Arrested at Liberty Park in Lake Mary

Mills serves as a board member at UCF, Guidewell, Florida Blue, Rollins College, LIFT Orlando and the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, according to UCF officials .

Deputies said Mills had exposed his genitals to one of the undercover agents when they stood at the open window of his driver door in the park.

After asking for sexual favors, Mills was placed in handcuffs, though he claimed that he “was simply clearing his mind” by visiting the park, the report says.

Areis was also arrested after reportedly showing his genitals to an undercover agent under the pavilion at Liberty Park, deputies added.

Meanwhile, Green — an employee at the SCSO — was caught exposing his genitals and asking an undercover agent to perform sexual favors on him, according to detectives.

Green has since resigned from his position, the sheriff’s office announced.

“We will let the documents speak for themselves,” an SCSO spokesperson told News 6.

Mills faces charges of indecent exposure and agreeing to secure a prostitute. He is held on bond of $1,250.

Areis faces charges of exposure of sexual organs and soliciting lewdness. He is held on bond of $1,500.

Green faces charges of exposure of sexual organs and soliciting prostitution. He is held on bond of $1,500.

News 6 has reached out to UCF for a statement and is awaiting a response.

Men's Hoops Adds Carlos Dotson as Assistant Coach

ORLANDO – The UCF men’s basketball team has added Carlos Dotson to the staff as an assistant coach with a focus in player development, as announced by head coach Johnny Dawkins on Monday.

“We’re excited to add Carlos to our staff. He’s young, hungry and will bring a lot of energy to our team. He is great at scouting and has a great knowledge of the defensive side of the ball. He has a lot of experience working with NBA players and we’re looking forward to him helping our athletes grow and giving them the tools to take their game to the next level.”

Dotson has created a quick ascent for himself in his young professional career. The Riverdale, Md. comes to UCF after being on staff with the Los Angeles Clippers as a player development coach, in which he was responsible for helping players elevate their game, scout opponents and assist head coach Tyronn Lue and staff in game planning.

“Carlos is a talented young coach and a natural teacher who made a big impact on our team this season. Players respond to his energy and improve under his guidance. Carlos has a bright future. UCF is getting a good one.”

Prior to his season with the Clippers, Dotson was a video intern with the Charlotte Hornets for the 2022-23 campaign. He was a graduate assistant at Clemson for the team’s 2021-22 season.

"I'm very excited to join this staff and to get to work for Coach Dawkins. I think this will be a great opportunity to come in and learn from the staff and to continue to build something great here at UCF. I'm ready to get to work."

Dotson’s playing career includes time in professional basketball overseas with stops in France, Uruguay and Portugal. His international career began in June 2019 before he arrived back in the United States at Clemson to be a graduate assistant in May 2021.

“Carlos brought great energy and consistency around the building everyday. UCF will have a great coach and an even better person. Looking forward to great things from him.”

“I appreciate the culture Carlos brought and the commitment he had to making the team better. I’ll be locked into UCF with him there.”

Dotson played at three different stops during his collegiate basketball career. He began at Anderson, a Division II school, where he posted 10.9 points per game in his first full season. He then attended College of Central Florida in Ocala where he posted 13.3 points per contest as well as 7.8 rebounds per game. His career continued to flourish as he joined Western Carolina for his final two years of eligibility, earning a pair of All-SoCon selections, earning third team honors as a junior and first team honors as a senior. He averaged 15.5 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, including 17.5 points and 10.9 rebounds per game in league play. He finished the year shooting 61.0% from the field and was a two-time SoCon Player of the Week and February SoCon Player of the Month recipient. He was a Lou Henson All-America Team member and claimed a spot on the NABC All-District 21 First Team in 2019-20. He graduated with a bachelor of arts in sociology in May 2021.

Dotson moved to Spartanburg, S.C. to attend Dorman High School, where he played basketball as well as a defensive end for the football team before ultimately turning his focus to basketball.  Dotson averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds per game in his senior season at Dorman and scored 14 points in the North-South All-Star game.

Live from Paris: Taylor Swift adds 'Tortured Poets' songs to Eras Tour in France

PARIS, France — The Chairman jump-started her tour after a two-month hiatus, and anticipation was high over whether Taylor Swift would incorporate her 11th era album into the Eras Tour set at La Défense Arena on Thursday.

She did and then some.

Swift extended the set list by one track to land at 46 songs. But many changes were made along the way. She added a new era for "The Tortured Poets Department," cut a handful of songs and rearranged most of the eras including combining the sets for "Folklore" and "Evermore."

She also debuted a number of new outfits along the way.

Delivering all the updates were Bryan West, the USA TODAY Network's full-time Taylor Swift reporter, from inside La Défense Arena in Paris, with Swiftie and trending reporter Anthony Robledo assisting from his desk.

More: Taylor Swift unveils new Eras Tour set list in Paris

'Midnights' set follows secret songs

Swift stuck to her original set list for the "Midnights" era by singing "Lavender Haze," "Anti-Hero" and "Midnight Rain." She ended the night with a triumphant rendition of "Karma" as usual.

'loml' is second secret song

Fans got one more taste of "The Tortured Poets Department" when Swift played the heartbreaking song "loml" on the piano during her secret set.

'Paris' is a secret song, of course

Swift started her secret set with "Paris," a bonus song from her "Midnights" album.

'Tortured Poets' set list

Swift played these songs from her newest album:

  • "But Daddy I Love Him"
  • "So High School"
  • "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me"
  • "Fortnight"
  • "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived"
  • "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart"

New 'Tortured Poets' set is here

Toward the end of her show, Swift officially launched the long-awaited “The Tortured Poets Department” section of the tour after the 1989 era.

Swift performed the track “But Daddy I Love Him” off the April 19 album for her ecstatic fans while wearing a new beige dress with cursive letters.

A road spiraled down the catwalk in an animation to initiate the era. The background animation showed a deserted road while large cages animated and fell on the road.

“Oh my god you should see your faces,” she sang.

She quickly segued into a brief moment of “So High School,” the beloved track speculated to be about her romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. She quickly performed the powerhouse anthem “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me.”

Swift switched to “Down Bad” before seamlessly transitioning into the lead single “Fortnight.” Stage production recreated an asylum that resembled the music video for the song with Post Malone, recorded harmony played concluding the song.

Dancers entered the stage in a marching band style format playing drums as she performed the wrath-fueled song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.” Jan Ravnik and Kameron Saunders then revived Swift in a jazzy skit to set up “I Can Do With A Broken Heart,” where she debuted another new outfit.

“The End” text displayed wrapping up the era that’s likely here to stay. Other beloved tracks like “Guilty As Sin” and “Florida!” did not make the cut.

New '1989' outfit

Swift never goes out of Style. During her “1989” set, she debuted a new, sequined outfit of blue and pink. Her sparkly shoes matched with a different colored heel on each. For the bridge of “Blank Space,” the crowd started chanting in Sydney, Australia, “Syd-ney” as a nod to the 1989 World Tour concert movie where Swift would chant the name of the city she was in after hitting a pole with a club two times. Singapore followed the chant and Taylor Nation tweeted they want every city to incorporate the fan-fueled chant. In Paris, thousands chanted “Par-ee,” the French way to say the capital city.

Swift made no cuts to the "1989" set.

Four songs cut from 'Folklore' and 'Evermore'

The new set list cut four tracks from the "Folklore" and "Evermore" eras:

  • "'Tis the Damn Season"
  • "Tolerate It"
  • "The Last Great American Dynasty"

The combined set included eight songs altogether and wrapped up with "Willow."

'Folkmore' set debuts

Swift revealed she merged the 2020 pandemic albums “Folklore” and “Evermore” into one section. She told fans she wrote “Folklore” to represent spring and summer with “Evermore” representing fall and winter in what she always considered sister albums.

“On the Eras Tour we have now reunited the sisters, combined them into one chapter,” she said. “You can call it whatever you want as long as you promise to sing ‘Champagne Problems’ with me.”

'Folklore' set: 'Cardigan' makes the cut

Many fans had speculated "Cardigan" would be cut from the set list. But Swift actually moved it to the top of the "Folklore" set.

Up next: 'Reputation'

Swift kicked off her fifth set with "Ready for It?"

Another surprise: 'Speak Now' era comes fourth

Swift updated her "Speak Now" set with an intro dance featuring Raphael Thomas and eight other dancers wearing flowy purple dresses. She then sang "Enchanted."

Fan favorite track "Long Live" was cut from the set list.

Order of eras changed

After a fairly routine "Fearless" set, Swift altered her concert by including the “Red” era third instead of the expected “Evermore” set. Previously, "Red" came fifth.

With a new shirt that read “This Is Not Taylor’s Version,” the singer performed "22" and showed her audience that they needed to leave any expectations at home.

The relocated "Red" set included the same four songs: "22," "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "All Too Well (10-Minute Version)."

Beflore playing “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” Swift talked about bringing all of her favorite memories to France. She did her 2019 “Lover” live show here but hadn’t brought a tour to the country since the Speak Now World Tour 13 years ago.“I cannot thank you enough. I’m so moved," she said.

Follow along with set list changes here .

First set list change

Swift cut "The Archer" from her "Lover" set before beginning her "Fearless" set in a silver and black minidress as opposed to her classic gold one. A graphic showed her "Lover" house with a new addition in the attic for "The Tortured Poets Department." Her "Fearless" set remained the same with "Fearless," "You Belong With Me" and "Love Story."

More: Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' castle will soon host weddings

'Je m'appelle Taylor'

In her monologue before playing the song "Lover," Swift said the night would span 18 years of music. Previously, the concert covered 16 years. Get ready for a "The Tortured Poets Department" addition some time tonight.

She confirmed the tour would still go era by era, and also spoke about how Paramore is a band she idolized since she was a teenager. She ended with some French: "Je m'appelle Taylor."

First new outfit

Swift debuted a new, orange bodysuit and jacket for the "Lover" set.

Snippet of 'Tortured Poets' in intro

A snippet of the song "The Tortured Poets Department" was included in the intro music Swift kicks the concert off with. Is she foreshadowing other changes ahead? It seems likely.

Taylor Swift takes the stage

Swift took the stage about 8 p.m. in Paris (2 p.m. ET) to relaunch her Eras Tour in Europe. She kicked it off with a countdown clock and the Lesley Gore song "You Don't Own Me" as usual. Then she began her "Lover" set with "Miss Americana."

Paramore covers Blondie, Talking Heads in Paris set list

At the Paris show Thursday, Paramore energized fans with eight tracks including their cover off the upcoming “Stop Making Sense” tribute album out May 17 featuring artists like Miley Cyrus and Lorde.

Debuting a blond mullet, lead singer Hayley Williams encouraged fans to dance without fear of judgment ahead of Swift’s performance.

“Enjoy your time with Miss Taylor, we will see you next time,” Williams said.

Paramore's set list included:

  • "Hard Times"
  • "Burning Down the House" (Talking Heads cover)
  • "Caught in the Middle"
  • “Brick by Boring Brick”
  • “The Only Exception”
  • “That’s What You Get”
  • “Ain't It Fun”
  • “This Is Why”

Paramore begins their set

At about 6:45 p.m. in Paris (12:45 p.m. ET), Paramore began their set, officially restarting the second year of the historic Eras Tour. Lead singer Hayley Williams sported a new, blond mullet hairdo.

Paramore opens European leg of Eras Tour

The American rock band is joining Swift on her European leg of 51 shows. Paramore also opened the show for two nights in Glendale, Arizona, in 2023. Their setlist then included nine songs:

  • "This Is Why"
  • "That’s What You Get"
  • "The Only Exception"
  • "Still Into You"
  • "Rose-Colored Boy"
  • "Misery Business"
  • "Ain’t It Fun"

Where to watch the Eras Tour livestreams

The Eras Tour is one of the first tours that has been followed, globally, by thousands of fans on digital platforms. Fans dedicate part of their concert experience to livestreaming as Swift performs. Livestream Queen Tess Bohne has spearheaded the "Great War" to find fans going live on social media and broadcasting a custom show to tens of thousands of fans almost every night on her account @tessdear .

On YouTube, user @TaylorSwiftHockeyBro also livestreams the 3-hour show, and on Twitch, @folkleric is a host fans follow.

There is also an app, Swift Alert , that notifies fans who only want to watch certain eras like the acoustic, surprise set. The app also sends out push alerts if there are any major announcements.

What secret songs are left?

For the past 83 shows, Swift has had an acoustic set she customizes every stop with a guitar and piano performance. In 2024, the Eras Tour star added mash-ups of her songs for each stop. Here are the songs she has yet to perform:

  • "Taylor Swift" (debut album): "Mary's Song" and "A Perfectly Good Heart"

Recruiting Rumor Mill: Visits on deck for top prospects

Nick Lucero/Rivals.com

It was another busy weekend of news and so it’s time for another Recruiting Rumor Mill as Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney shares what he heard over the weekend.

MORE: Four-star quarterback TJ Lateef headed to Big Ten program

CLASS OF 2024 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State

CLASS OF 2025 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State

CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Position | State

TRANSFER PORTAL: Latest news | Transfer search | Transfer tracker/player ranking (football) | Transfer team ranking (football) | Transfer tracker/player ranking (basketball) | Transfer team ranking (basketball) | Rivals Portal Twitter

This recruitment might be closer than expected with Michigan , Georgia and Alabama as serious contenders but the feeling is that Penn State still leads for the Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks East four-star offensive lineman and Nittany Lions legacy. Penn State could have pushed ahead a little further after a visit last week from the coaching staff where they also offered his brother, Liam .

A new offer from LSU is definitely big for the three-star athlete from Seffner (Fla.) Armwood but there are other serious contenders in his recruitment. Iowa State , Florida and Arkansas have had a longer relationship with Dean although if the Tigers keep up the momentum he’s definitely interested because he sees Baton Rouge as a route to the NFL.

Things are “heating up” again in Howard’s recruitment and it’s giving him a little bit of pause to make a commitment but Florida remains the program to beat since he loves how the coaching staff is recruiting him and playing with five-star QB DJ Lagway is a serious consideration. But Florida State , Ole Miss , Penn State, Missouri and Texas A&M (in that order) continue to push.

Texas A&M, Texas and USC are the three programs catching the eye of Johnson but the word is that the Longhorns lead the Trojans and the Aggies are trying to stay very high in this recruitment. The four-star receiver from Hitchcock, Texas has visits planned to Arkansas, Texas Tech , Texas and USC and is working on scheduling one to College Station but the Longhorns have the edge at this point.

Depending on who you talk to, there is one camp who is growing in confidence that the four-star quarterback from Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin is serious about a flip to Florida - and that it will eventually happen. Some believe Jones sticks with Florida State (especially if he thinks DJ Lagway is the future in Gainesville) but his friendship with Vernell Brown is something to watch here.

After a two-month commitment to Florida didn’t work out and Joseph backed off the Gators in mid-April, Florida State has emerged as the main contender in his recruitment. LSU and Memphis are also very involved and Memphis could be a real contender because the four-star offensive guard is a teammate of four-star QB Antwann Hill at Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County and Hill recently loved his visit there.

UCF , Wisconsin , Oregon , USC, Missouri and Kansas are the front-runners for the four-star defensive tackle from Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas and while some think the Jayhawks are way out in front, others are not so sure. Marks was committed to Missouri for less than a month during the fall so there could be some unpredictability to his pledge.

Clemson , Ole Miss, LSU and Mississippi State are going to get visits from Nash in June and the talk is that the Bulldogs have the edge for the four-star offensive tackle from De Kalb (Miss.) Kemper County. That could be the case but Florida State is expected to get a visit during the season and then Texas A&M offered late last week and Nash is highly interested and hopeful the relationship keeps building in the coming weeks.

LSU and Arkansas are the two programs standing out most for the four-star defensive tackle from Hattiesburg, Miss., but visits to Arkansas, USC and Mississippi State are coming up and there has been talk for a long time that the Bulldogs could be the front-runner. The Tigers and the Razorbacks have a great shot now but let’s see where things stand after he gets to Starkville.

Three big visits are coming up in June and those could determine where the four-star receiver from Winston-Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor ends up. The tour will start at Virginia Tech , then head to North Carolina and then finally he will see NC State before the end of the month. The Wolfpack could have an edge here especially after they’ve recruited so well at the receiver spots lately.

After landing an offer from Georgia in recent days, the Bulldogs have emerged as one of the front-runners for Pouncey along with Syracuse , UCF and Florida State so far. But things got more interesting on Friday when Miami offered the 2026 four-star safety from Winter Park, Fla. With a focus on in-state programs, the Hurricanes could definitely emerge here.

Since moving to Texas and now getting to know the new coaching staff in College Station, there is a lot of chatter around Texas A&M when it comes to Reyes’ recruitment but for June, the four-star safety from DeSoto, Texas has only two visits planned so far. Reyes will be at Miami from June 14-16 and then SMU on June 17 but the word is that those programs are not his top two.

Notre Dame was considered the early leader but the Irish are no longer being seriously considered for the four-star defensive end from Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central. Tennessee , Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Michigan are the five Shanklin is most serious about in his recruitment now.

Georgia remains the team to beat in Smith’s recruitment as the Bulldogs have been the favorite for a long time but South Carolina , Miami, Georgia Tech and Florida State “still look good” for the Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview four-star offensive tackle.

There is a cluster of programs at the top for Watts as Michigan, Clemson and Penn State have all been prominently mentioned for the four-star offensive tackle from Brookline (Mass.) Dexter but those aren’t the only teams involved. Georgia, Duke , Boston College and Wisconsin are all seriously involved as well.

Mississippi State is going to play a big role in Womack’s recruitment with Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Louisville and others as well but a new Texas A&M offer for the 2026 four-star safety from Brandon (Miss.) Hartfield Academy. Womack loves the atmosphere and facilities for the Aggies and getting down to College Station is a big focus now moving forward.

Nearing 40 offers, it could be Wyman’s latest that is the biggest. Georgia has now offered the 2026 four-star safety from Jonesboro, Ga., and the word is it’s a “game-changer” in his recruitment. The location and environment stand out and then Wyman has already hit it off with coach Kirby Smart and position coaches Donte Williams and Travaris Robinson so the Bulldogs should be considered the front-runner now.

Video shows travis kelce finally showing up to taylor swift's eras tour in paris, share this article.

Other commitments during his NFL offseason meant that Travis Kelce, unfortunately, couldn’t be there to support Taylor Swift during the latest leg of the Eras Tour in Paris, France , from the start. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end has rectified that rather quickly for his partner.

A new video on Twitter shows Kelce finally in attendance for the fourth night in the French capital city. He’s there hanging out alongside other names like Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadad as the show gets into full swing.

While Kelce still obviously showed his public support as he could, being there in person for Swift just makes all the world of a difference:

NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Glover’s musical project Childish Gambino has returned with a reimagined album and a new tour announcement.

Early Monday, Glover posted on X that “ATAVISTA” had hit streaming platforms — and that the record is actually “the finished version” of an album he released in 2020, “3.15.20.”

On March 15, 2020, a number of new Childish Gambino songs dropped on DonaldGloverPresents.com , but were quickly removed. A week later, “3.15.20” was officially released with guest appearances including Ariana Grande , 21 Savage and others. It, too, was eventually removed from streaming platforms.

Monday’s full-length release includes two brand new tracks, “Atavista” and “Human Sacrifice,” according to a press release. Young Nudy and Summer Walker have new guest spots on the album.

To celebrate “Atavista,” Glover dropped a music video for “Little Foot Big Foot,” directed by Hiro Murai (his longtime collaborator also known for work on the television shows “Barry” and “Station Eleven”) and starring Quinta Brunson, Rob Bynes, Monyett Crump and others.

Glover has also announced “The New World Tour,” his first tour since 2019. His run begins on Aug. 11 in Oklahoma City and will hit many major North American cities before heading to Europe, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand.

The tour ends on Feb. 11, 2025 in Perth, Australia.

Openers include WILLOW ( Willow Smith’s musical moniker) and Amaarae . Tickets go on sale Friday.

PROBABLE PITCHING MATCHUPS FRIDAY– Texas RHP Max Grubbs (4-4, 3.70) vs. UCF RHP Ben Vespi (3-2, 4.45) SATURDAY– Texas LHP Ace Whitehead (4-0, 3.73) vs. UCF RHP Dom Stagliano (2-3, 4.07) SUNDAY– Texas RHP Lebarron Johnson Jr. (2-4, 5.82) vs. UCF TBA

THE MATCHUP— The Longhorns head to UCF for their final road Big 12 Conference series. The teams will meet for the first time ever on the baseball diamond. Head Coach David Pierce does have some experience against the Knights while serving as the head coach at Tulane. With Pierce at the helm from 2015-16, the Green Wave went 7-1 against UCF.

A LOOK AT THE LONGHORNS— Texas heads into the weekend following a fourth-consecutive Big 12 Conference series win and seventh league series win overall. The Longhorns are batting .292 with 111 doubles and a Big 12 leading 99 home runs, while the pitching staff has a 4.98 ERA with 395 strikeouts in 437.0 innings pitched. The 99 homers are the second-most in program history following the 128 in 2022. Jared Thomas is the leading hitter with a .356 batting average with 13 doubles and 14 homers, while Max Belyeu leads the team and Big 12 Conference with 17 homers. Jalin Flores also ranks second in the league with 16 homers.

ONE-TWO PUNCH— Jared Thomas and Peyton Powell have been mainstays at the top of the Texas batting order this season. Thomas has a hit in 38 of the 49 games and has also scored at least one run in 33 of the 49 contests. In the 16 games that Thomas has not scored a run, the Longhorns have a 5-11 record. Powell has a hit in 40 of the 49 games and is tied for third on the team with 39 RBI.

BOMB SQUAD— With 99 home runs this season, Texas has hit 318 bombs combined over the last three seasons. The Longhorns hit a program record 128 homers in 2022 and followed that up with 91 in 2023. The next-most homers by Texas in a three-year stretch was 196 from 1986-88. The Longhorns have also hit more homers in the last three seasons than in the previous seven seasons combined, with 297 from 2015-21. Texas is currently on pace to hit 111 home runs during the 55-game regular season schedule. The Longhorns' 99 homers ranks seventh nationally this season.

MORE HOME RUN HISTORY— The Longhorns tied a program record twice this season with six home runs in a game, first against UTA on April 23 and at Oklahoma on April 28. There have now been six times that a Texas team has hit six homers in a game and the first since April 25, 1998 at Missouri. The Longhorns now have 26 multiple-homer games this season, including two six-homer games, one five-homer game, eight four-homer games and six three-homer games.

MAX POWER— Outfielder Max Belyeu is having a breakout sophomore season, launching 17 home runs this season. In the March 24 win over Baylor, Belyeu tied a program record by hitting three homers. The eighth Longhorn to go deep three times in a game, Belyeu hit two solo shots before launching a grand slam. Belyeu also has a pair of two-homer games this season against UTA on April 25 and at Oklahoma on April 28. The Aledo, Texas product has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week twice this season.

THE GRAND SLAM MAN— Dating back to the end of the last season, Jalin Flores hit three grand slams over a 12-game span. His first career grand slam was in the NCAA Regional Final last season against Miami to help Texas advance to the Super Regional. This season Flores hit a game-winning grand slam on Opening Day and then launched his second against St. John's on Feb. 27. Flores is not the only Longhorn to go deep with the bases loaded this season, as Rylan Galvan , Will Gasparino (2) and Max Belyeu all have hit grand slams this season.

THE STOPPERS— Relief pitchers Gage Boehm and Andre Duplantier II have both been reliable arms at the back-end of games this season. The duo have accounted for eight of the team's nine saves, while both sporting sub-3.00 earned run averages. Over his last 12 outings (since March 19), Boehm has allowed just four runs and struck out 27 batters in 25 innings pitched. In the same timeframe, Duplantier has pitched 14 times and struck out 25 batters in 23.1 innings with two saves and a win.

ACE BOOGIE— Ace Whitehead moved into the weekend rotation back in March and the Longhorns have won all seven of his starts. The left-hander from Lampasas has won seven-straight starts, beginning with his complete game win against Baylor on March 23. This season, Whitehead has posted a 4-0 record and a 3.73 ERA in 50.2 innings pitched with a .212 batting average against.

FIFTIETH SEASON AT THE DISCH— Texas is in the midst of its 50th season at UFCU Disch-Falk Field after the facility opened in 1975. The first game at The Disch was played on Feb. 17, 1975 with the eventual National Champions sweeping a doubleheader of St. Mary's. Texas will officially celebrate 50 years of Disch-Falk Field and the 50th anniversary of the 1975 National Championship team during the 2025 season.

OWN THE DISCH— A large part of the Longhorns success under head coach David Pierce has come down to dominating at home. Since 2017 Texas has produced a 198-60 (.767) record at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. Since the stadium opened in 1975, Texas has gone 1629-420-3 at home for a .795 winning percentage. The fan base has also done a great job of making the Disch a difficult place to play. With the exception of the 2021 season because of limited capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas has led the Big 12 in attendance for 15-consecutive seasons. This season, the Longhorns are averaging 7,472 fans per game, the fifth-highest average attendance in the country.

PRESEASON HONORS— Lebarron Johnson Jr. picked up plenty of preseason praise, being named Big 12 Preseason Pitcher of the Year as well as landing on the Golden Spikes Award Preseason Watch List. OF Porter Brown joined Johnson on the Preseason All-Big 12 team as well as picking up some Preseason All-America recognition. Freshman OF Will Gasparino was also named Big 12 Preseason Freshman of the Year.

PRESEASON PICKS— In a vote of the league's head coaches, Texas was selected to finish second in the Preseason Big 12 Baseball Coaches' Poll. The Longhorns sit behind preseason favorite TCU, who received 11 first place votes. Texas picked up the other two first place votes to finish second. Last season, Texas won the Big 12 regular season championship after being picked fourth in the preseason poll.

DRAFT WINS AND LOSSES— Texas lost five players to the 2023 MLB Draft but also got five key players back for the 2024 season. The Longhorns biggest losses in the draft were 4th round selection Dylan Campbell and sixth-rounder Lucas Gordon . OF Porter Brown and INF Peyton Powell were not selected though and will lead the offense this season, while Charlie Hurley , Lebarron Johnson Jr. and Tanner Witt are expected to play big roles on the mound. OF Will Gasparino making it to the Forty Acres was also a big win for the program.

HEAR ' EM— In partnership with Learfield IMG College, Texas games will be broadcast on the Longhorn Radio Network, primarily on AM 1300 The Zone. Craig Way handles primary play-by-play duties alongside Roger Wallace. This season fans will also hear analysis from Longhorn greats Keith Moreland, Ty Harrington and Nathan Thornhill throughout the season.

WATCH ' EM— Nearly all of Texas' home games will be broadcast on Longhorn Network this season. The team of Keith Moreland and Greg Swindell will return to the booth to call the action for 34 home games.

Childish Gambino — aka multihyphenate Donald Glover — doesn’t do anything by half, and as he promised last month , he has dropped a new version of his surprise release “ 3.15.20 ” (which quietly dropped in March 2020), under its original title “Atavista,” dates for “The New World Tour,” a massive trek through North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, launching in August. He also released a video for the album’s song “Little Foot Big Foot,” directed by Hiro Murai, featuring Young Nudy.

Popular on Variety

The loaded announcement recalls the Saturday evening in 2018 when he not only hosted “Saturday Night Live” — appearing in nearly every sketch as host and twice as musical guest — but he dropped the complex “This Is America” song and video during the show.

The album, which features songs with Ariana Grande, Summer Walker and others, has been expanded with two new tracks. Its confusing original release took place in the first days of the pandemic, when Glover quietly posted it on a website without song titles, playing on a constant loop, before removing it around 12 hours later. The following week, he officially released it without fanfare or even detailed credits on streaming services.

Arriving as it did at the very beginning of the pandemic lockdown, the album soon faded from the memories of the people who’d noticed it at all. However, based on a conversation posted last month on his Gilga Instagram platform , he released the album in that way because it was unfinished and he simply wanted it to exist in case the world ended.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, May 17 at 10am local time. Fans can also sign up for early access to tickets via the artist presale. American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public for North American, Australian and select UK dates.
