Brilliant experience with Vicky as our driver

We had a brilliant experience with Vicky as our driver. He was punctual, knowledgable and a safe driver. He made our trip so seamless. We had a lovely time with him.

Brilliant experience during 10 day tour. From first contact with Deepak, everything worked perfectly. Our driver Vicky was incredible.; always on time, extremely courteous, very helpful and very careful/safe driver. Superb experience!!

We have just finished a 10 day tour with V care tours and couldn’t be any happier. I got quotes from 5 or 6 companies before travelling to India and I decided to go with V care tour for their competitive prices and transparency. Deepak was great, replied quickly to my emails and gave me very clear pricing for both car and guides. But I have to say, the best thing about the tour was our driver, Sunil. He was always puntual, extremely professional and overall the kindest man! He went above and beyond to make sure that the whole family was happy, and you could see that he just wanted to make our trip memorable, which he did. My kids were so sad when we have to say goodbye. I know, that we have a friend for life and we will definitely come back to India and Sunil will be our first call.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience with us. It truly warms our hearts to receive such kind words from our valued guests. We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with Driver Sunil and that he contributed to making your journey with V Care special. At V Care, we believe in providing not just a car rental service but also a memorable and exceptional experience for our clients, and we're delighted that we could achieve that for you. Your feedback not only makes us proud but also helps fellow travelers in making informed decisions about our services. We sincerely appreciate your support and trust in us. Once again, thank you for choosing V Care. We look forward to serving you again in the future and creating more wonderful memories together.

One of the best tour companies for the Golden Triangle, India – we very much recommend V Care Tours. We found V Care Tours to be very efficient, considerate, and well organised. Deepak at V Care responded immediately to our initial enquiry & answered all our queries promptly. We paid a deposit by credit card and the balance by credit card when we arrived at Jaipur. The booking process was simple. Deepak supplied a full trip itinerary along with details of the car and driver in advance; it was easy to meet our driver at the airport in departures to begin our trip. We booked a 10-day tour of the Golden Triangle via private car with a driver, and V Care Tours arranged everything for the road trip from Delhi to Agar to Bharatpur, Ranthambore & Jaipur. Included in our tour package: an English-speaking driver, 5-star hotels (either heritage or modern in design), site tours along with guides who spoke English and had in-depth historical knowledge of the sites: such as the Taj Mahal, Amber Palace, Tiger Safari & Bird Sanctuary. The restaurants booked by V Care Tours were considerate for the Western palate and most had options of local Indian cuisine or international foods. Our driver for the journey was Santosh who we 100% thoroughly recommend. Santosh is a safe driver (super important on India’s city & countryside roads) and he made our road trip comfortable with sweets, snacks, water, and good humor. Santosh was also helpful in advice about places to stop and visit on route, along with knowledge of our hotels and restaurants to help us better enjoy amenities. Santosh was very punctual, picking us up at the arranged time and estimating our arrival time at the next destination perfectly. If we needed anything, Santosh was there to assist us. In the end, we were sad to leave India & Santosh as the trip was mind-opening, heartwarming and fun! Thank you to Deepak (& ViVi) for a wonderful trip (particularly the unique Holi festival experience), everyone at V Care Tours, our fabulous tour guides – especially Bhupi and Himanshu Kumar, and Santosh (best driver ever). For our next India trip, we will be in touch…

Thank you sincerely for your incredibly kind words and for choosing V Care Tours to be a part of your Golden Triangle adventure in India! We are overjoyed to hear that your experience with us was nothing short of exceptional. Providing efficient, considerate, and well-organized service is at the core of what we do, and it brings us immense joy to know that we were able to meet and exceed your expectations. Deepak and the entire team here at V Care Tours are thrilled to have played a role in making your trip a memorable one. We are delighted that you found our booking process seamless and that our comprehensive trip itinerary, along with our top-notch driver Santosh, contributed to the smooth and enjoyable experience you had. We couldn't be happier to hear that Santosh's safe driving, thoughtful gestures, and good humor added an extra layer of comfort and joy to your journey through India. We will be sure to pass along your glowing recommendation to him and the rest of our team, including Bhupi, Himanshu Kumar, and ViVi. We are genuinely touched by your appreciation of the unique experiences we curated for you, particularly the Holi festival experience. Your satisfaction and happiness mean the world to us, and we cannot wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in India!

Santosh was a fantastic driver and took extremely good care during my two days in Jaipur. He was kind, welcoming, and was great at navigating the city. The car was very comfortable with seatbelts, candies, and Santosh even made sure that there was always chilled water available in the car, a must during the hotter months! As a woman traveling alone, he made me feel extremely safe. I would highly recommend Santosh to anyone traveling around Jaipur.

Thank you very much for using our services and for your kind words. Santosh indeed delivers the best.

Great professional service, quality of hotels was also very nice. The guides were also very knowledgeable and professional.

Travel Guide: India’s Golden Triangle with V Care Tours Jaipur

India’s Golden Triangle with V Care Tours Jaipur

If you want to immerse yourself into a totally different holiday, India should be on the top of your list, it’s different, mad and has fantastic architecture.

The Golden Triangle, Northern India, is offered as a destination by a number of expensive UK travel agents but you can book directly with V Care Tours , owned by Deepak Dhandh and based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We used Kuoni for our previous trip to India, we put two trips together and as it was fine, we checked them again this time but their prices we far more than what I got with V Care Tours.

Here at Yeah Lifestyle, we will be reviewing the agent used, the tour and the hotels and also how to get to Delhi from the UK.

India’s Golden Triangle with V Care Tours Jaipur

What did we think of V Care Tours

After receiving a rather expensive quote for a two week trip to India, the Golden Triangle, I decided to look at other options. After strolling the internet for a few days, I finally found V Care Tours, they have very good reviews on trip advisor and before booking I also spoke to two past customers based in the UK who confirmed that they received very service from V Care Tours.

My friend and I were very impressed by the service we received from V Care Tours, Deepak and Jitendra (our driver who goes by the name of Vicky for ease) during our trip. Jitendra was always on time, gave us advise on where to eat based on our taste.

How can you book?

You can contact Deepak directly via his website or WhatsApp

Phone 91-141-4007669 Whatsapp 91-9314066669 [email protected]

How much are the tours?

The tours will be individually priced based on your itinerary, the level of hotels you want to stay at and the car you choose. You need to bear in mind that you will have a driver and a car for the whole time and guides in the important cities. The only thing you will have to pay in addition to this are the entrance to the monuments and your meals. The price usually includes room and breakfast.

V Care Tours also have some examples of the type of tours you can do with some indication of the price. Obviously this will be different dependant on your own itinerary.

India’s Golden Triangle with V Care Tours Jaipur

Our Itinerary was prepared by Deepak but we could have altered it if we decided to do so. We felt that the trip was great for us and we saw a lot of cities and experienced the roads in India with a very experienced and safe driver.

Here is the full itinerary we did over our two week trip:

Delhi – IHCI Cannaught – 2 nights – Nice and modern hotel with the best coffee in India! Agra – Courtyard by Marriott  – 1 night – Very good hotel and good breakfast Jaipur – Shahpura House – 2 nights – Very unusual and not European, good food at the restaurant but the breakfast not average. Deogarh – Deogarh Mahal – 1 night – Need to be pretty fit for this one, very nice rooms but lots of stairs to get anywhere. Food not so good, to toned down to suit European taste. Jodhpur – Dai Haveli – 2 nights – Great hotel with fab views of Jodhpur, very good roof top restaurant and great breakfast Jaisalmer – 1st Gate Home – 2 nights – Great service, food was really good both at breakfast and in the evening at their roof top restaurant. They even gave us a packed lunch of the day we left as we had a long journey Bikaner – Narender Bhawan – 1 night – Very new hotel but done in the old style, fab room, great food and very good service Mandawa – Vivaana Culture – 2 nights – Old Haveli updated to make a really nice hotel. Good food both at dinner and breakfast. Good service. Delhi – Lutyens Bungalows – 1 night – Good for the airport but not my favourite hotel, the room were dated but the gardens were great, a small oasis in Delhi. The food was not great so we ate out.

India’s Golden Triangle with V Care Tours Jaipur

During our visit in Jaipur, Deepak took us to visit the non tourist areas of the city. It was very interesting and somewhere we would not have gone without him. He also took us to a local place serving lassi – the real stuff not what you get in England and also bough us some local samosas and another type of fried savoury pastry usually eaten for breakfast.

We also had a surprise for our Jaipur visit, Jitendra came to pick us up in the morning in an old Ambassador car. It was great!

In India, tourists have to barter for any purchases which is not something we are used to do so we were very pleased to find a place in Jodhpur where we could ask the price of the goods and get one we did not feel we needed to barter for. Here is an example, we looked at some T-shirt in the previous city and were quoted 1000 rupees, when we asked the price at Blue Bohemian (shop number 210-A, vegetable market, Clock Tower, Jodhpur) the owner Vicky quoted 200 rupees for the same T-shirt. The same applied to all the other items he had in the shop. We did most of our gift purchases there.

India’s Golden Triangle with V Care Tours Jaipur

When we got to Jaisalmer, our driver told us about Camel trips and meals in the desert. He took us but we decided not to stay as we got there a little too early and would have had to wait too long to see the sunset and to eat but it would have been worth it. If you decide to do this, leave just before sunset to ensure you are able to see it on the desert.

We were very lucky as when we got back to the hotel and went to the restaurant, we saw a magnificent sunset over the Jaisalmer fort from the roof top.

About V Care Tours – Jaipur

Deepak Dhandh is the owner of V Care Tours and he started the company in 2002 with just 1 car. He use to drive it on his own to know the needs of the clients. After 1 year of driving, he started the company and hired few drivers. In the later stage, he realised a customer is given more services when the driver himself is a partner in the car he is driving. Hence then he started financing drivers to buy their own car, by this way the quality of car & services have been maintained so far. Today they have a fleet of 38 Numbers of self-owned cars & vans.

V Care Tours are reliable, knowledgeable and courteous. One can always get in touch with the driver via WhatsApp.

All hotels in the guide have earned a AAA Diamond designation by going through rigorous evaluations conducted by AAA’s team of professional inspectors. Not only are they clean; you can know what level of amenities are offered making it easy to choose a hotel that best suits your budget and your preferences.

Save time planning your trip by using our helpful articles. AAA’s team of travel editors has created one-day itineraries that you can follow exactly to get the most out of a short excursion. Alternatively, use them as a guide to get an idea of where things are in a city to assist in planning your trip, so you don’t waste valuable vacation time.

Our travel editors also have identified must-see attractions including AAA GEMs (Great Experience for Members ® ) that shouldn’t be missed. These include stops ranging from the Montréal Botanical Garden and The Field Museum in Chicago to the Painted Desert in the Petrified Forest National Park. They have also noted top places to take children, so everyone of all ages has a good time during your family vacation.

Unlike the printed guides, the digital TourBook includes road trips. You can use these to plan out an entire itinerary like a classic trip down Route 66 or a drive up the Northern California coast. Our suggested routes include stops such as tasty local restaurants to refuel, museums to learn about the area, and parks to recharge and stretch your legs in an idyllic setting. Or use them to take a detour down a scenic byway through forests, around lakes and even for leaf-peeping in the fall.

  • Diamond-designated restaurants with information on cuisine
  • Sports and recreation, including where to catch games as well as places to hike, bike, golf and other activities

For more than 80 years, AAA’s expert inspectors have been evaluating hotels and restaurants across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica and the Caribbean. They conduct surprise evaluations based on a rigorous set of guidelines to provide members with detailed comments on what to expect at AAA Diamond-designated hotels and restaurants.

Unlike other rating systems that are based solely on travelers’ experiences, AAA inspectors determine Diamond designations on-site and according to established guidelines and requirements. The AAA Diamond Program reflects the latest in industry trends and travelers’ expectations. The designations not only indicate the level of amenities that you can expect at a property; they also assure that hotels offer a clean, comfortable experience no matter the budget.

Our team of AAA travel editors has been providing travel advice and information for members since the release of the first TourBook in 1926. They are experienced travelers who provide in-depth information on cities and attractions as well as sample travel plans. With the AAA TourBook guides, AAA’s travel information is more convenient than ever.

There are a few ways to get AAA maps. Firstly, you can stop by your local AAA office to pick up paper maps of U.S., Canada and Mexico — for free for AAA members. Plus, select offices carry an atlas of North America.

The second way you can get maps is via the AAA Map Gallery , an online gallery where you can access printable maps of destinations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, as well as maps of cruise terminals and national parks.

The other way to access maps is with TripTik Travel Planner . The TripTik tool allows you to plan and save routes, find important points of interest like hotels (including pet-friendly hotels), campgrounds, restaurants and attractions as well as identify locations that offer discounts and savings to AAA members.

How a group tour changed my whole approach to travel

I 've always considered myself a fiercely independent traveler. I've navigated more than 50 countries on my own, and while I have sometimes booked short excursions, usually for a day, it had never occurred to me to book a group tour. That changed when I decided to take two of my children on a family tour with Intrepid Travel .

I had planned on spending our winter break in the Middle East but changed my mind at the last minute due to safety concerns . Because of the abrupt change, I knew I wouldn't have time to plan an itinerary, book hotels and arrange transportation before our departure date. However, I didn’t want to let that stop me from having an adventure. I'm glad I took a chance on a group tour because it changed the way I travel. Here's how.

BEST OF THE BEST: 15 Best Group Travel Companies for Guided Tours

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

The trip planning was stress-free

I spent a little time comparing tour companies but quickly honed in on Intrepid. The company offers a variety of itineraries for families at different price points, and a few of my friends had been on its tours and had a good experience. I also liked that Intrepid offers specialized tours for different types of travelers, including family tours .

At first I planned on an "original" style family tour but upgraded to a "comfort" tour, which included more activities and meals along with upgraded accommodations. Although it cost more, the company's 10-day Morocco Family Holiday tour was still within my budget and looked like a good value.

BEFORE YOU GO: The 5 most important questions to ask yourself before booking a tour

Once I committed to a tour, my planning was essentially done. That was a huge relief. I normally spend hours searching for hotels , figuring out some must-do activities in every location along with some off-the-beaten-track attractions, researching transportation options, and gathering restaurant recommendations. Although I often find it's fun, it’s also time-consuming and can become draining for trips that involve several stops.

Even though a group tour was not exactly what I would have planned on my own, Intrepid's Morocco itinerary was fairly close. I thought giving up some control was well worth the trade-off of not having to do all the planning on my own. Because Intrepid uses local teams based at its tour destinations to plan trips, I also hoped having a local involved would bring me to places I never would have found on my own.

SAVE MONEY: Kids stay free at these 10 all-inclusive family resorts

Instead of reading hotel reviews and booking entry tickets, I spent the weeks leading up to my family vacation learning more about Moroccan culture. I knew this would enrich my experience more than figuring out all of the details for a trip abroad to run smoothly. I'm usually a mix of excited and stressed in the week or two leading up to a big trip. This time I was mostly excited, and my stress was at a minimum.

Though I won’t stick exclusively to group tours in the future, this trip taught me to not sweat the small stuff so much. I don’t need to spend so much time finding the perfect hotel or restaurant to have a great trip.

Group trips are fantastic for solo travelers and parents traveling on their own

Before I had a family, I often traveled on my own. Though I enjoyed solo travel , it was lonely at times, even more so when I stopped staying at youth hostels and lost access to the fantastic communities they provide. Now I frequently travel with my two younger children. They are fantastic travel companions, but on longer trips I sometimes find myself longing for adult interaction or an extra pair of hands. Additionally, even though my kids usually get along well, they sometimes get sick of each other in the absence of any other playmates.

TRAVEL WITH TEENS: 10 best vacation ideas for families with teenagers

On my Intrepid trip, I had other adults to talk to throughout the day. That was a refreshing change from my usual experience of going a week or more without speaking to another adult for more than five minutes, usually for transactional matters like checking into a hotel. My kids also quickly made friends with the other children on the trip. Not surprisingly, all of the families on the trip had similar interests and an adventurous spirit. My children and I were the only Americans in the group, and it was interesting learning more about life in New Zealand, Canada and Australia from the other families.

The parents in the group quickly started leaning on one another for support. One mom, also traveling alone with her children, asked me to take one of her daughters on an outing so she could get some one-on-one time with her other child. I asked a different mom to keep an eye on my son while I packed our things for the next day. It was nice not feeling as if I was on my own.

UNIQUE TRIPS: Hate bus tours? These 7 unique guided tours were made for you

This "it takes a village" spirit is something I want to bring with me in my future travels. Although it’s not possible to replicate the experience of traveling with other families, it is possible to seek out connections away from home. For example, on a recent trip, my son wanted to play soccer with local children who lived near our hotel. Instead of rushing him away so we could squeeze in another activity, I let him play. He wound up meeting up with the other kids every night we were there, sharing candy and communicating with an app. The nights playing soccer were a highlight of that trip for him and something I probably would not have let him do before my experience with a group tour.

I appreciated a slower pace

I have serious FOMO and often pack too much into my days when I travel. When I first reviewed the itinerary, I noted right away that it had downtime and even an entire free afternoon built into the trip. Though I know many people enjoy that balance, I was worried I would feel bored and come away feeling as if I had traveled halfway around the world and missed seeing all there is to do.

TRIP REVIEW: Adventures by Disney’s Peru tour is a riveting family adventure

The reality is it’s impossible to do everything. Trying is exhausting and impossible. There is always something left on the to-do list at the end of the trip. It was refreshing to go into a trip not trying to see an entire country in two weeks and being OK with that from the outset.

Though there were a couple of other things I would have liked to have squeezed in, I was very happy with the balance of activities and downtime. Other than all-inclusive family vacations and trips to family resorts , I normally don’t schedule time to just relax while I am traveling. It was really nice to have time to read and play UNO with my kids. I also liked that Intrepid had a couple of optional activities for those of us who didn’t want quite as much downtime as others.

MONEY MATTERS: How much should you tip on a guided tour? All your gratuity questions answered

I do still feel pressure to see and do everything when I travel, but going on a group trip helped me see the value in traveling at a slower pace. Some of my favorite moments from my Intrepid trip happened during scheduled downtime; they gave me and my children time to just enjoy being with one another without the pressures of work and school. It’s a lesson I’ve tried to carry with me as I’ve planned future trips.

Learning from a local is invaluable

One reason I chose Intrepid is the company uses all local guides, and most tours use the same guide throughout the trip. It may sound obvious that learning from locals is the best way to get to know a country, but I had underestimated just how valuable traveling with a local guide would be.

TOUR REVIEW: Adventures by Disney’s South Africa tour is a lesson in culture, history, and beauty

I learned much about Moroccan culture through our tour guide, who was always willing to answer questions about his life and traditions. He even brought us to his family home to meet his parents and niece, which was a very special experience. Aside from being able to share the history of everywhere we visited, I also liked that our guide warned us about scams to watch out for, shared the tipping culture and gave advice on bargaining. He was also helpful when it came to practical matters like finding an ATM.

For future trips, I will be more open to taking guided tours with local guides, even if it’s just for a few hours. I will also make it a point to try to talk to more locals, as long as I can do so without bothering them too much.

Even though it wasn’t what I had originally planned, not only did I have a great experience on my trip with Intrepid, it has also forever changed the way I plan to travel.

Odyssey of the Seas

Aerial of Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas is a Quantum Ultra Class cruise ship that's smaller than the other newest vessels from the line. The impressive ship completed its first sailing in 2021 when it became the first ship of its class to sail from the United States. Odyssey of the Seas currently departs from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and other ports and offers a range of six-night and seven-night sailings throughout the Caribbean in the coming months.

Up to 4,198 guests can sail on the Odyssey of the Seas with double occupancy, and 1,612 crew members are on board to tend to their every need. The ship is approximately 1,138 feet long and is 167,704 gross tons.

  • Sails to: Odyssey of the Seas will depart from various ports in the United States and elsewhere in the world in the coming years. For example, there are upcoming six-night sailings from Fort Lauderdale that include stops in Labadee, Haiti and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in addition to Perfect Day at CocoCay. The vessel will complete a 14-day transatlantic cruise in April and May of 2024, which begins in Fort Lauderdale and ends in Rome, Italy. From there, the vessel will offer Greek Islands cruises from Rome before moving back to Cape Liberty (New York), New Jersey in the fall of 2024. At that point, itineraries will include stops in Port Canaveral, Florida, Nassau in the Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
  • Cabin types: Odyssey of the Seas offers interior staterooms, ocean view rooms and balcony staterooms. Guests can also book interior rooms with a virtual balcony that boasts a floor-to-ceiling virtual view of the outdoors. Over-the-top suites available on the Odyssey include an Owner's Loft Suite, a Royal Loft Suite, a Grand Loft Suite and more.
  • Dining options: As a smaller vessel with considerably fewer passengers than Royal Caribbean's Oasis Class and Icon Class ships, Odyssey of the Seas has fewer dining options overall. Guests can dine at seven included eateries including a main dining room, a bistro, a cafe and the main ship buffet. There are also seven specialty restaurants and experiences on board including the Chef's Table, a Chops Grille and a sushi and hibachi restaurant. Like other newer ships from Royal Caribbean, the Odyssey also has its own Starbucks.

This year, the billionaire will only visit three U.S. cities – Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis – and prices for the in-demand shows are astronomical . For the Oct. 18 show in Miami, for example, cost of a single ticket ranged between $1,615 and $8,524 on StubHub.com as of Wednesday afternoon.

With safety at the top of travelers' minds, the researchers also factored in the city’s safety rating out of 100.
