Great ride on the river

"My wife grandchild and I went on a ride on the River from Cocoa Beach. It was a lot of fun, and the couple that runs the tour where is very helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend this trip."

Friendly and knowledgeable

"Had a great time with this group. They let us take our time viewing dolphin, manatee and lots of birds. They were very knowledgeable about bird species and the history of the area. No preset routes so you get a unique experience. Very comfortable seating."

Fabulous boat tour of Thousand Islands

"Great tour of Thousand Islands. Captain gave great information on wildlife. We saw lots of dolphin. Special treat was seeing an Osprey catch a fish and fly off with it."

A must see and do

"Anyone who visits the Space Coast should try this tour - it’s amazing! I’m a local who had never been and absolutely loved it. Took my guests too and everyone raved about the views. Guaranteed to see dolphins, manatees, birds and other wildlife. Even the boat was safe, comfortable and sturdy. Great for everyone - friends, family, kids, elderly, etc."

Wildside Tours LLC is a nature boat business providing a variety of different excursions in the beautiful Thousand Islands Nature Preserve of Cocoa Beach and the Banana River Lagoon.

Sightseeing in this area is exciting: The manatees, dolphins, and many varieties of birds exemplify nature at its finest.

Since our trips are limited to 26 persons, you will get a much more personal experience without school bus seating. We can go into the smaller channels that larger tour boats cannot access.

Practicing ethical, sustainable eco-tourism, we don’t chase, feed, or touch the animals. We do passive viewing and respect the environment.

Come explore this incredible, fragile, and dynamic eco-system only 10 miles from Port Canaveral’s port of call cruise terminals.

Discover the biodiversity of Elkhorn Slough

A wildlife tour on one of california’s largest tidal waterways..

Join us on a one-of-a-kind, electric-powered catamaran ride for a wildlife tour along one of California’s largest tidal waterways. Enjoy a narrated cruise along the Elkhorn Slough, a vibrant and lively wetland located on Highway 1 between Santa Cruz and Monterey in Moss Landing.

Want to see otters? This is your chance! While we can’t guarantee what the otters will be doing because this is an active bunch of sea otters in the Elkhorn Slough. We are also very proud to be certified Wildlife Stewards with Sea Otter Savvy. What does that mean? It means that we take great care in making sure we have the least amount of impact on these amazing creatures as possible. The otters of the Elkhorn Slough have pups all year long, so you have an excellent chance to see a mom feeding or playing with her pup.

What’s Included

We have a naturalist on board to assist in wildlife spotting, providing insight into the natural wonders of the Slough, and to answer any questions. Our naturalists are experienced and always informed about the happenings in the Slough and will be narrated during the tour to educate you with the nature of the wetland, its habitants and more fun facts about the area.  There is also a bathroom on board our electric catamaran.

Know before you go

It is always best to dress in layers as the weather can change drastically on our beautiful California Coast. No need to worry about seasickness as the Slough is flat calm and our boat is an extremely stable platform. Bring a camera and binoculars if possible! Our boat departs on schedule so make sure to arrive 20 minutes ahead of time.

LWyatt was super knowledgeable and we got so lucky to see so many sea lions, harbor seals, otters and many types of birds! The electric boat was very quiet, and they even had blankets aboard for those who got cold when the wind picked up! They also provided binoculars which was great! We live in WA and this was definitely worth doing on our trip.

We were so fortunate to have Marina as our Captain and Cindy as our naturalist. We enjoyed the trip together with our 3 grandchildren. We're trying to instill in them a love of nature and travel. Marina and Cindy gave great answers to the questions asked by the kids. We endorse the electric boat 100% -- and I bought a T-shirt to remember the trip!

The electric catamaran was such a smooth ride and very quiet and peaceful. I was worried we might not see any sea otters but we observed so many and they were engaged in different activities like hunting, eating, sleeping in rafts (groups of otters), grooming themselves and playing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and taught us about the varied flora, fauna and ecology of Elkhorn Slough. I will definitely go again with friends and family. Big recommend to all. Thanks Monterey Eco Tours for such a great tour

So friendly and relaxing. The naturalist provided s interesting information and fun stories about the bay, the slough, and the wildlife we saw, and answered all of our questions. We were able to move around the catamaran to get close ups of the otters and other animals. We loved being out on the water. There were sunglasses, blankets if we needed, and even a restroom on the boat.

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

Go beneath the streets on this tour of the spectacular, mind-bending Moscow Metro! Be awed by architecture and spot the Propaganda , then hear soviet stories from a local in the know. Finish it all up above ground, looking up to Stalins skyscrapers, and get the inside scoop on whats gone on behind those walls.

Know More about this tour

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

This tour exceeded our expectations. Nikolai (Nick), our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, thorough, and has a great personality. He didn't take shortcuts and really covered everything that was on the agenda in great detail. We saw beautiful metro stations and learned the history behind them, including many of the murals and designs.
