UK pop-punk kings Neck Deep will play their biggest UK headline show to date at Ally Pally in March 2024.

Ben says: “it’s been a long time coming but we’re stoked to be finally headlining Ally Pally! We’ve supported a few times there and always loved the venue. But now – it’s our turn, for our biggest ever headline show. I’m expecting it to be the best Neck Deep show ever, and you wouldn’t wanna miss that would ya?”

Over the last decade, Neck Deep have gatecrashed the charts, both at home and internationally, sold hundreds of thousands of records and concert tickets, graced magazine covers all over the world and toured with some of the biggest names in the business in the process. With the band now in their second decade, you’d continue to be foolish to bet against the boys from Wrexham.

Neck Deep have released their fourth studio album album All Distortions Are Intentional. 

In the interview above, watch Ben and Sam from the band discuss what fans can expect from the new album and forthcoming tour.

The new LP promised to be the band’s most ambitious to date, readying the Wales-formed group for their headline UK run.

Touching on the themes of the album, frontman Ben explains in the interview above: “It’s conceptual, it’s not just me writing about my life or writing about the world around us. It is that, but tied up into a world with a story and characters. That’s definitely given us a new and fresh angle to work from.”

All Distortions Are Intentional was recorded at the prestigious Monnow Valley studios, located in the remote Wye Valley region of the band’s home country of Wales, and was produced by the Grammy Award-nominated Matt Squire. (Panic! At The Disco, Underøath, Ariana Grande, One Direction).

Forming as a side project in Wrexham, Neck Deep morphed into a full-time band in 2012 and it’s been a whirlwind ride since.

The band signed to Hopeless Records (Bayside, New Found Glory, Sum 41) shortly afterwards and they’ve released three albums on the label so far: 2014’s debut Wishful Thinking, 2015’s Life’s Not Out To Get You,  and 2017’s The Peace and The Panic, which debuted at No.4 on the Official UK Albums Chart.

This past summer the band were invited by pop-punk legends Blink-182 to support them and Lil Wayne on a nationwide arena tour across the United States.

The band are heading out on the road in support of 'All Distortions Are Intentional'

Neck Deep have announced details of a UK tour for this September.

The Welsh band will tour in support of their forthcoming new album ‘All Distortions Are Intentional’, which will be the follow-up to 2017’s ‘The Peace and the Panic’.

With the new LP set to arrive on July 24, Neck Deep have today (March 4) confirmed details of a UK tour for September.

It’ll include two sets of dates in Manchester and Glasgow, before an arena show in Cardiff. The tour ends with a huge date at London’s Alexandra Palace on September 19.

Speaking about the tour in a statement, Neck Deep said they were “incredibly excited (and nervous) to be playing such big and prestigious venues!”

“When we started this band, we never even dreamed of playing at places like Alexandra Palace and Victoria Warehouse, so to headline them feels surreal. Not that we have ever felt the need to prove ourselves to anyone, but coming back with an album we are all incredibly proud of and confident in, we felt we needed to play rooms that reflect that.

Here’s Neck Deep’s setlist from their 2024 U.S. tour

Fresh from the release of their self-titled album, Neck Deep are already on the road in the States – and there’s plenty of new material in their packed setlist.

It’s been a massive start to the year for Neck Deep already, with the release of their brilliant fifth album and now a U.S. headline tour.

And the pop-punk heroes kicked off their Live In America 2024 run last night (January 25) in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Marathon Music Works venue, giving plenty of new material some airtime in the 19-song setlist.

Following sets by a cracking supporting cast of Higher Power , Bearings and Drain , Neck Deep launched into new album opener Dumbstruck Dumbf**k, before a live debut of Sort Yourself Out from the same record. There were plenty of older favourites in the mix – from Lime St. and Gold Steps to Losing Teeth (for the first time in a couple of years) and December (Again). Finally, they ended the set with a triple-whammy encore of STFU, Can’t Kick Up The Roots and In Bloom. Ooooft!

Neck Deep will be back in the UK for their biggest ever headline show on March 28, at London’s Alexandra Palace. And frontman Ben Barlow wants to sell the thing out (“That’s a real goal of mine – and I refuse to believe that we won’t!” he told us last week) so get your tickets now .
